How did you meet and get engaged?

We met on Tinder 5 years ago and proposed on the Amalfi coast.

Describe your wedding:

It was always going to be a hippie rustic theme wedding with dream catchers etc but it ended up being extra rustic as the wedding party was on our deck in the Wicklow mountains.

Tell us about your bridal look:

I wore a 70s style hippie dress with bell sleeves and a crochet train, a flower crown and pink hair.

They were married by Vincent Whelan of Spiritual Ceremonies with some of their close family in attendance (under the guidelines permitted) and then, they asked Couple Photography to head into the City Centre in Dublin to take some amazing photos of them. Sure, when else is Dublin City Centre going to be as quiet. There is always a plus side! They had great fun using the backdrop of Georgian buildings, bridges, temple bar, Grafton street and even an outdoor ice cream cone to go.

The couple did some family shots outside the offices, then went off to a meadow with Couple Photography!

Next, they went into town, and stopped off at Liberty Lane for the graffiti. The bride put on her Doc Martens and had their one pint there.

Then, the group went down Grafton Street to Phil Lynott Statue and to Anne Lane for the umbrellas, then back to the car with of course a photo at the top of Stephens Green for the clock!

Words of wisdom from Amy and Paddy…

“Literally nothing matters anymore wedding wise, the venue, the seating at the ceremony, location of ceremony, what way it’s done.  Makes you realise you don’t need anything big and fussy and that’s how we knew we were doing it for the right reasons“.
