Emma and Danny have been together for 12 years after meeting through friends at the infamous Barcode. Danny proposed at the lake in Glendalough two days after Christmas. His first attempt at proposed was interrupted when their then 1 year old decided to run into the lake. Once they’d given him a fresh change of clothes, Danny proposed again and Emma said yes!
After postponing their wedding a number of times, Emma and Danny ended up planning their wedding in just 7 days! They decided to just go for it and have a bigger celebration next year. “So on the 10th of August I booked Wrights Findlaters, got in touch with our amazing celebrant Bernie Dolan and organised a new photographer as our original photographer was self-isolating after being home for a family wedding. We kept our guest list to 29 adults and 3 children. We had no bridal party and just kept the day very relaxed and it was just all about the ceremony and getting to sit with family and friends for dinner for the first time in months.”
Emma was 17 weeks pregnant on the day of thee wedding, so her original wedding dress didn’t fit. As she only had 7 days to plan, she made a quick purchase from ASOS, along with a beautiful pearl hairband from Rosie and Dott. Her makeup artist, Tracy from Makeup Mentor was available and did a fab job!

Emma’s favourite moment from the Big Day was finally getting to say ‘I do’ to her best friend.
“Your wedding day will eventually happen and although it may not be the day you had planned it will still be the most amazing day.”
