Madeleine and Tor met on their first day in school when they were both six years old and they even have a picture from the first day! In the picture they are standing on a large rock together, waiting for the principal to call their names, and sixteen years later they got engaged on the very same rock. Only this time, it was covered in rose petals.

When you get married in a castle and your transport is two horses and a carriage, a princess gown totally appropriate. Madeleine’s hair was elegantly set up in a bun with a natural makeup look.

The bridesmaids wore long dusty pink dresses matching their bouquet of roses in a very light pink tone together with a tone of darker pink.

They had a private ceremony in the castle with all their friends and family. The ceremony was held by a Norwegian speaking minister and musicians were playing lovely music during the whole ceremony and reception. Their one-year-old delivered the rings, walking down the aisle hand in hand with his uncle, with “Eye of the Tiger” playing on the speakers.

“After exchanging our vows sealed with the perfect kiss, the entire bridal party was dancing their way out of the ceremony to “I Gotta Feeling-Black Eyed Peas”. The ceremony was followed by a fantastic photo session in front of the castle directed by Schillings Photography.”

“If you are looking for a venue fit for a King and Queen, the castle in San Miguel de Salinas is the absolute perfect choice – a hidden jewel situated on the hilltop only 15 minutes away from the beach. Many different areas to enjoy the whole day Castle Courtyard, Outside terrace, Tea Room and the Grand Salon – all areas perfectly fit for a King and Queen.”

They made lots of good memories that day, but if they had to pick just one, they both agree that their favourite moment is when Madeleine walked down the aisle, hand in hand with her father. As a surprise, her parents’ wedding song played on the speakers, while everybody, Tor included, burst into tears.

“On your wedding day – forget about the details and just enjoy every second of your wedding. If the budget allows it, use a wedding planner and also a videographer to capture all moments – it was totally worth it.”

“Are you searching for a wedding planner on the lovely Costa Blanca? I don’t have anything else to say but: stop looking! I am confident that you will be just as happy with Lyndyloo in Spain and Louise as we are, they have been absolutely amazing during this whole experience of getting married.”
