We met… On set for a commercial Amy was acting in and Seán was directing.
Our proposal… Seán brought Amy for a walk in Glendalough with their dog Buddy. When they arrived, he handed her a Storyboard he had drawn of exactly what was happening, but Seán had a ring box in his pocket. When Amy looked up, he had the ring and proposed.
Wedding theme/colours… Rustic, winter, nature. Reds, greens and navy.
My look… My dress was from Frilly Frocks in Drogheda. My hair and makeup was done by Lorraine Byrne at Lancôme and Margaret O’ Connor.
Seán’s suit… was from Baumler, Dublin.
Our ceremony… was a Spiritualist Ceremony with Antony Colton of Spiritual Ceremonies.
We chose our videographer because… We chose Wedding Moments because of their cinematic style.
Our favourite part of the wedding day was… Seeing each other for the first time.
My piece of advice for other couples… Take a moment with each other on your own. As soon as the day begins… any miniature problems are for your bridesmaids or groomsmen to sort out so soak it up and enjoy!
