Say hello to Selene and Brendan! This fabulous couple tied the knot in an elegant wedding at Killashee Hotel in Kildare. To bring together their wedding decor, they chose cream and green as their signature colours. Look out for Selene’s stunning wedding dress – it’s truly eye-catching!

Selene and Brendan met at work and got engaged during Covid times. This is the proposal story from Selene’s perspective:

“I always wanted Brendan to propose outside Ireland so we made it to Antrim! The proposal was perfect, bended knee in Glenariff Nature Reserve Waterfalls.”

For their wedding theme, they aimed for elegance. The key colours to bring everything together were cream and green.

We just love Selene’s stylish bridal look. Her eye-catching dress is from Ronald Joyce in London.

Brendan’s navy blue suit was from Fitzgeralds Menswear in Waterford.

Selene and Brendan hosted their ceremony at Killashee Hotel.

“We made it a very personal spiritualist ceremony.”

To celebrate their wedding, they hosted friends and family at the Original House in Killashee Hotel. They had use of the entire house and describe it as “charming and personal”.

The wedding festivities were beautifully captured by Laura Mc Photography.

“Laura is absolutely wonderful to work with. We did not want to spend long on photos on the day but wanted to capture special moments. She worked with us and was not intrusive. Lovely personality and made everything very easy for us.”

Instead of wedding favours, they chose to donate to the Irish Cancer Society. Such a lovely and selfless gesture.

Selene shares her favourite memory from the Big Day:

“There are too many to pick one. It was very special when our eyes locked when I walked up the aisle.”

We love asking newlyweds for their best wedding advice. Here’s what they had to say:

“Spend the day together. We made a commitment in advance of the day to meet and greet our guests and mingle as a couple. Take a few minutes out during the day a couple of times just to be by yourselves. So much time and effort goes into planning the day make sure you enjoy it.”
