“My favourite part of the day was seeing Jen coming down the aisle – she looked so beautiful”
The couple: Luc & Jennifer Richard
Length of engagement: 15 months | Wedding date: 8th August 2015
Wedding venue: Luttrellstown Castle, Castleknock, Dublin
Photographer: Emma Russell Photography
We met… I was his Landlady!
Our proposal… happened on the anniversary of the date we met. We were in the beautiful Longueville Manor in Jersey with our beautiful little girl.
My hair and make-up… My make-up was done by Grainne Duffy who works with Charlotte Tilbury at Brown Thomas. My hair was done by Nicki Fanning.
My dress… My dress was the Marita by Kathy de Stafford.
What our bridal party wore… Our bridesmaids wore dresses by Eliza & Ethan.
Our ceremony… was held at St Mochtas Church, Porterstown.
We chose our photographer because… Emma Russell was recommended to us by a friend.
We chose our venue because… We wanted something classy, fairytale-like and Luttrellstown Castle was actually very close to where I grew up.
Our wedding theme/colours… It was a French/Irish wedding so we tried to have little touches of both.
Our menu… was modern and classic with a French element.
My favourite part of the wedding day… Jen: Walking down the aisle and seeing family and friends and Luc at the end of the aisle. Luc: Seeing Jen coming down the aisle – she looked so beautiful.
My piece of advice for other brides… Don’t leave things to the last minute – try and have nothing to do the night before except relax!
