We met… At my best friend’s wedding, she was marrying his cousin. He spotted me in the church. My friend pointed him out at the reception, our eyes met and we both got butterflies. It started from there.
Our proposal… was on the roof garden of our apartment overlooking Dublin city centre. He woke me from bed and led me by the hand upstairs where the roof was covered in tea lights spelling, ‘Will you marry me?’
My dress… was Verina by Maggie Sottero.
My hair and makeup… was done by the awesome Glenda McCabe who is married to our photographer. The ultimate couple which made our wedding!
Our ceremony… was a musical affair!
Our wedding theme/colours… Vintage chic – yellow, blush pink and deep Irish green.
We chose our venue because… Cliff at Lyons was truly stunning!!! A slice of paradise in Kildare.
We chose our wedding coordinator because… Keely Beth Gledhill of The Wedding Expert was so engaging and responsive.
My favourite part of the wedding day… My husband’s speech.
We chose our photographer because… StephenMac Photography blew us away with his personality, his work and his beautiful wife Glenda at the RDS.
My piece of advice for other couples… Savour every second and make sure to take some time out together. We had a half hour before the meal, drank champagne in our wedding suite and took a selfie on the steps.
