Five of our Favourites: Long Sleeve Wedding Dresses

Is anyone else obsessed with long sleeve wedding dresses? A timeless look, many celebrities over decades have chosen to wear a long sleeve wedding dress. From the classic elegance of Princess Grace to more fashion forward with the figure hugging sexy long sleeve worn by Kim Kardashian. From Meghan Markle to Hailey Baldwin… royals and celebrities love long sleeve wedding dresses and this is a trend we don’t see going anywhere. There has never been more choice in long sleeve gowns for brides than in the stunning 2020 & 2021 Bridal collections from Pearls and Lace. A dress with long sleeves is ideal for brides getting married in the colder months who’d prefer not to wear a shrug or cover up their dresses but long sleeves aren’t just for winter. With low backs, illusion tattoo lace detail and plunging necklines, more and more spring/summer brides are opting for long sleeve wedding dresses because it’s a look they love.

We’re very excited to share some of our favourites from the stunning collection at Pearls & Lace with you.

  1. Simple & Sleek Long Sleeve Dress from Essense of Australia

Simple yet completely elevated, this long sleeve wedding dress was made for the fashion-forward bride. The contour seaming & soft crepe enhance your shape and the plunge neckline hints at just enough skin for a tasteful touch of sexiness. We love the open V-back is and buttons that run complete to the end of the train.

  1. Modern & Sexy Long Sleeve Dress from Stella York

Subtly sexy but totally incredible, this long-sleeved wedding dress with long lace train is truly one-of-a-kind. For the bride who wants a little bit of everything, this dress combines lace and crepe for a very sleek and chic silhouette. Full lace long sleeves embrace a high neckline and skinny plunge keyhole neckline, while the back of this dress is completely open. And it has a subtle sparkle throughout, we absolutely adore this dress!

  1. Mermaid Vibes & Long Sleeves from Stella York

This long sleeve mermaid wedding dress from Stella York is all about that sexy silhouette! We love the subtle sweetheart neckline, fitted bodice and side cutouts- it’s all about the detail on this gown.  And that amazing open keyhole back! The skirt has a dramatic flair and reminds us exactly why we love this curve-enhancing mermaid silhouette.

  1. Royal Inspired Long Sleeve Ball Gown from Martina Liana

This dress was made for a modern-day duchess! A clean, high neckline rests just beneath the collarbone for a classic feel while the seamless bodice and long sleeves fit ever-so-smoothly to your shape. We love the large keyhole back which keeps it modern and not ‘too covered up’. And what modern ball gown is complete without pockets, we love pockets!

  1. Glamorous Sparkling Sleeves from Essense of Australia

Last but certainly not least. We love the shimmery bodice, sheer detailing and deep plunge neckline of this modern A-line dress. Not only is the bodice gorgeous, the multi-layer skirt features a combination of soft tulle with a sequin layer underneath, completing the look with sequin motifs on the train. Long sleeve dresses don’t get any more glamorous or romantic than this one! It’s our absolute favourite for a Christmas or Winter wedding.
