The incredible Inmaculada Garcia Barcelona is an absolute breath of fresh air to behold. A mix of traditional and avant-garde, the collection truly has something for every style of bride. Modern separates show off the beautiful craftsmanship of the collection – volume is balanced to perfection with puffed out tea length and high-low hemmed skirts paired with cute round neck t-shirt style tops and risque crops covered with sheer and applique overlays. Designer Inmaculada Garcia surmises her offering well herself; “My creations are designed for daring and passionate brides,” she says “brides who are both dreamers and romantics who love feminine and sensual designs with a touch of class.”
There are influences from a number of genres in the 2017 collection, from bohemian, flowing A-lines to couture-like ballgowns, and the odd pop of whimsy and drama is achieved with the use of bold layered tulle skirts and striking floral prints. Classic silhouettes are given a unique edge with fascinating fabrics, fabulous finishing touches and on-trend features like minimal style waist belts, long lace sleeves, sheer backs, billowing bows and some feminine floral applique.
Like what you see? Well you’ll love it even more when we tell you that Inmaculada Garcia has finally hit Irish shores, and has just arrived at their new home in Sharon Hoey Bridal, in Dublin (opposite the Davenport Hotel). The boutique at the forefront of all that is contemporary in bridal has added some stunning designs from the 2017 collection to their rails and we just can’t wait to see them appearing on real Irish brides next year!
