We met… 6 years ago, in a chipper after a night out!

Our proposal… December 2017

Our wedding theme/colours… Winter sparkle!

Things we DIY’d/made ourselves… Memory table.

My dress… Bridal Hall, Ballybrittas

My hair and make up… Hair by a family friend Audrey, Makeup by Rebecca O’Sullivan

His suit… Richie Whelan’s, Naas, Co. Kildare

What our bridal party wore… Bridesmaids wore dark pink dresses by Pamela Scott, and ivory faux fur shrugs.

Our ceremony… Carmelite Church, Kildare Town.

We chose our photographer because… Great reviews, and we instantly liked him from our first meeting. Michael was very professional, and we felt at ease in his company. We were delighted with our photographs.

We chose our venue because… It was close to home, and has an excellent reputation for hosting all events.

Our menu… Chicken and mushroom vol au vent, cream of vegetable soup, beef or symphony of seafood, chocolate roulade. Washed down with loads of wine 🙂

Our honeymoon… Minimoon to Budapest for three nights, “real” honeymoon on the way!

My favourite part of the wedding day… The wedding mass, and the first dance.

My piece of advice for other couples… Enjoy the day! Have faith that all your suppliers know their stuff, you are in safe hands 🙂
