As with all weddings, the bride was of course the star of the show. Maggie looked angelic in her fabulous off-white lace Maria Luisa Rabell gown from Myrtle Ivory, which she teamed with a pair of black patent Miu Miu pumps for the ceremony. Maria Luisa Rabell is a Spanish designer, and some of her gorgeous pieces are stocked in Myrtle Ivory in Dublin. She is known for her romantic, modern and ethereal creations, which are timeless and pure. We loved the silver sparkly pumps Maggie slipped into for the afters, and in keeping with Maggie’s designer of choice, below have featured a gorgeous (and expensive!) pair of silver Miu Miu flats (€460) with adorable bow and emerald swarovski crystal detailing.
The bouquet we’ve chosen to finish off the bridal look is a beautiful and modern hand-tied bouquet by 2013 WOL Award winner The French Touch, and to set the tone of the entire day, we’ve gone for a very sweet and modern pink and grey birdcage detail invite by another 2013 WOL Award winning supplier (!) – Feather & Ink.
Real Wedding at Bellinter House

One of our favourite elements of Maggie and Neal’s big day was the bridesmaid dresses! Mix and match bridesmaid dresses has been a huge trend in weddings for the last two years, but it’s rare that we see it done so perfectly. It was clear each bridesmaid had their own particular style (like all us gals!) and although in theory it shouldn’t have worked, they managed to make it mesh so well! With some of the ladies in crochet cream short summer dresses, others in stone coloured prom gowns and one very cool lass in a pink pencil get up, these girls showed us that you don’t have to be all about uniformity to stand out.
For ease of browsing, and to show how it could work for you, we’ve taken a lazy stroll through ASOS to pick out a couple of dresses that, although very different, could work together for your bridesmaids on the day, but of course you could leave it in the hands of your trusted bezzies and see what they come up with by themselves?!
Of course groom Neal looked incredibly dapper on the day in a gentleman’s tweed three piece. We’ve chosen a similar style from Hackett London which featured in a vintage wedding shoot we helped to commission with The Bridal Lounge a while ago.
Maggie and Neal put on a lovely spread (how very Irish of us) for guests with a delectable dessert table and for their cake they went with a very modern, one tier, white iced cake. We’ve chosen something a little more intricate for a dessert table focal point from cake designers Eden Cake Company. We love this three tier white iced cake for its part modern, part vintage detailing in the lace and pearl icing. Divine.
The couple kept it simple on the tables with flowers, silver confetti and candles in vintage style green bottles, but the stand out feature was the beautifully framed table numbers. For similar frames with a vintage touch, we’ve gone with romantic white Kvill frames from IKEA, priced at €5.25 each.
