“We had our reception in Bellingham Castle in Louth and it was a fairytale location. From the moment we booked 2 years ago Ciara and Jack could not do enough for us. They helped keep us positive throughout all the uncertainty with restrictions and constantly having to change plans. The food was incredible! Even a week later people are still raving about it. It was a perfect location as we had the run of the castle. We set up a toy room for the young children with board games and activity packs to keep them entertained for the day. The staff at the castle was second to none. They never let a glass get empty or even half empty before they were topping us up. And as I have specific dietary requirements (as did some of our guests) there was separate desserts, bread, sauces, canapés all prepared without us having to ask or even remind them. If I could do it all over again it would be in Bellingham Castle.”

The Ardilaun Hotel | View Profile

“Our venue was The Ardilaun Hotel. They really catered for everything with a celebration garden to get married in (even if we couldn’t use it due to the Irish weather) and accommodation for everyone. The staff were very helpful and made sure the day ran smoothly.”

“I don’t think I have words to describe how amazing Muckross Park Hotel was. I was extremely fussy when it came to choosing my wedding venue. David will tell you we went to a lot of wedding fairs haha. I had excel sheets comparing each venue and I wanted the WOW factor. When I saw Muckross, I knew I wanted my wedding there. Killarney is just such a beautiful part of the country and I knew all my guests would love it and the 1 hour drive from Dunmanway was manageable for everyone.”

Clanard Court Hotel | View Profile

“The Clanard Court Hotel were great. As we were organising a wedding last minute (originally) and on a budget, they did their best for us. They did all the decorating and the table plans etc. which was one less thing I needed to organise. The place looked beautiful, guests were commenting on how beautiful the hotel was and the food… endless amounts of food.”

Mount Falcon | View Profile

“Mount Falcon was the most beautiful venue for our wedding weekend. The grounds allowed for a beautiful outdoor ceremony space and drinks reception and a helipad for my landing by helicopter. The function room was the perfect size for our 42 guests. It didn’t feel too empty! And the incredible outdoor bamboo tent provided a beautiful setting for our second-day barbecue. With most guests travelling for the full weekend, there was so much to do and the outdoor area in the sunshine provided the perfect space for guests to gather in the days after for a drink, coffee or ice cream.”

Greenway Manor Hotel | View Profile

“Our venue the Greenway Manor Hotel in Waterford is just divine. The minute we arrived there to view the hotel in 2020 we loved it. The driveway up to the hotel, the gardens and the exterior of the front of the hotel is just gorgeous. As it’s a manor house it has some old features even though it’s recently renovated. It’s so family-friendly and has a lovely playground for the children too. We had 8 kids attending the wedding we knew we had somewhere safe and secure where the kids could wander around and have fun during the day. It was perfect for us.”

The Village Hotel | View Profile

“The Village Hotel is such a stunning venue. Sinead and the staff went above and beyond for everything we had asked. They created a wedding better than we could have expected! They put the little touches on the tables with flowers to match our colours and rustic modern theme. They decorated the gardens with fresh flowers for our ceremony. We took advantage of the good weather and had our drinks arrival and reception outside. The food was absolutely amazing. Everyone’s plate was empty, was outstanding. People are still raving over the food! The wine was constantly flowing and there was no waiting for the next course, every need was cared for. We can’t wait to go back.”

The wedding team were amazing and the detail and effort they put into planning our big day was exceptional. The staff are experienced, friendly and approachable and the food is outstanding. My husband is a chef so food was a big deal for him, he wasn’t disappointed and neither were our guests. It was fresh, delicious and plentiful. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect.”

Rathsallagh had always been high on our list of potential venues due to its reputation for dining. When we viewed the venue, we were blown away by the family atmosphere and beautiful gardens. As the wedding evolved into a winter wedding, we were delighted that the cosy reception rooms and open fires fit with our aim to have a relaxed, Christmas celebration.”

Orlagh Country House | View Profile

“The venue was STUNNING! I had only found Orlagh House by chance on the service finder 3 weeks before the wedding. I went to view it and fell in love on the drive up to the house. The views were amazing, the garden is stunning, the house is stunning. And Róisín, the bookings manager was so so lovely. She took her time and showed me around the whole house. From dining room to bedrooms, to bar to living room. It was stunning.”

Ballyseede Castle | View Profile

“Our venue was Ballyseede castle in Tralee. Beautiful venue with a rich history. The stone room is the perfect ceremony room and does not need any extra decor as it’s beautiful the way it is. There are Irish wolfhounds roaming the grounds and donkeys out the front. Spectacular place.”
