Hi there, We are The Ceólminers. A two piece Trad, Folk and Ballads band that specialise in Day 2 celebrations and drinks receptions.
We aim to emulate an authentic old school pub ballad session vibe with our music, which includes all the best songs from our musical heroes, The Dubliners, Christy Moore, The Fureys to name a few. Along with the best of Irish trad tunes to get toes a tappin.
Our band consists of Brendan Melia on guitar, harmonica, foot percussion and vocals. With instrumental wizard Brian Kelly on banjo, mandolin and whistles.
We love playing music at weddings. There is a magical buzz to a wedding pre-dinner or day 2 gig. Everyone is in great form and open to simply having a good time and enjoying the music.
There is always a special song in people’s hearts at times of celebration. A song that has memory and meaning attached. Often these are old songs that a Father or Mother used to sing and are seared into the memory of families. The Gramophone Social

The Gramophone Social has been running since 2021 and we have played many Day 2, Drinks Receptions and Corporate Events in that time.
The Gramophone Social consists of two original hand-cranked gramophones from the early 1900s, vintage microphone and original records spanning the early 1900s to the 1950s. The sound is unique to the gramophones and whilst it’s not high fidelity it is super vibrant and it gives a very different connection to the music.
The gramophones play 78 rpm records with Ragtime, Jazz, Swing, Doo Wop and early Rock and Roll. It is a perfect backdrop to any Day 2 event from a Barbeque to music over dinner. I often do 2 hour sets with The Gramophone Social followed by a 2 hour set of modern music using modern equipment.
Apart from the sound the gramophones add a super backdrop to any event and really add to the atmosphere.

The Canapé Cruisers
The Canapé Cruisers is an acoustic duo featuring two vocals and acoustic guitars or mandolin.
We have been playing drinks receptions and day 2 events for over a decade now. We provide music which includes some instrumentals, some traditional Irish music and songs with vocals. It’s always a fun event and can either be music to dance to if it’s later in the evening or if it’s earlier in the day, music that is at a level that allows conversation to flow.
We have a huge catalogue of music for all occasions and many years of experience playing all kinds of events.
Paul Feery – One Man Band
At my one man band shows, I perform a wide variety of styles including pop, rock n’ roll, indie, country, Irish ballads and upbeat Irish songs. A good mix but also playing to the crowd. My goal is always to get everyone off their chairs singing and dancing.
I’m also the baritone vocalist of The Three Tenors Ireland. https://threetenorsireland.com/ We perform nationwide each year in venues such as the Mill Theatre, National Concert Hall, Cork Opera House etc. as well as many Churches and Cathedrals around the country.
I don’t use backing tracks. I perform vocals and guitar live through a professional PA system and provide professional lighting. Some of the best nights have been when guests join me to sing a song of their choice, while I accompany them on guitar. It’s great fun. (I always keep a spare microphone and stand ready!)
