Hi! My name is Andrea, and I’m a Cork based wedding photographer. I like to define my photography as natural and relaxed. About my style, I’d say it can be placed somewhere in between documentary and artistic. Due to my time working in the photography desk of a best-selling newspaper in Madrid, I got to understand how important a documentary approach can be to capture the true narrative and soul of your day. More than a style, I would say documenting is a way to tell your story with photos. As much as possible, I try to stay invisible, trying to capture your true reactions and small details (I won’t coordinate your wedding or tell you when to smile). However, when the right time comes (usually after the ceremony, when all the nerves vanish) we’ll go for a wander in the surroundings to take some portraits. Actually, this is one of the moments I enjoy the most when shooting a wedding, as I can incorporate my love for portrait photography to the day.
