What we do:
We are a specialised Bridal Dress Alterations studio.
We have beautiful veils available.
We also offer a Wedding Dress Steaming Service and a Wedding Day Dressing Service.
How to book in:
We book out super early! Even if you don't have your dress yet, get in touch. We would be delighted to book you into our fitting schedule. Email: [email protected]
You don't have to have your fittings done with us to order a veil or to avail of the wedding dress steaming and dressing service.
Timelines:
Dress fittings: Ideally, 8 weeks before your wedding date or fly out date if you're getting married abroad.
Veil order: Minimum 8 weeks before your wedding date or fly out date if you're getting married abroad.
Wedding dress steaming and dressing service: Dates vary, get in touch with your venue and date and we can go from there.
Do we alter bridesmaids or mother of the bride dresses?:
We specialise in bridal dresses only, we don't alter anything else in the studio.
Opening Hours:
By appointment only.
Fittings are done on Wednesday & Saturday.
Veil and design consultations available mid week and on Sunday.
Pricing Options for alterations:
1) General alterations:
Hem on all layers, take in/let out, shoulder lift/sleeve work, bust work, darts, bustle, wristloop.
Please note adding buttons to your dress is an extra charge so check with your designer if they offer this service in the production of your dress.
2) Resizing alterations:
Changing the size of your dress up or down by over 2 dress sizes including general alterations.
3) Redesigning:
Remaking the shape of the back or neckline, redesigning skirt shapes and shortening trains including general alterations.
4) Express Fittings:
Fittings with less than 3 weeks before your wedding date/fly out date.
If you are unsure of what service you may need please get in touch, we are happy to help advise on the best plan for you.
Veil Information:
We have an amazing collection of stunning veils available to try on.
A great mix of traditional and modern styles and we also offer design consultations if you have something more bespoke in mind.
You don't have to have your fittings done with us to book in for your veil consultation.
Order time ideally is 8 weeks but we also have an express order option available on some of our veil styles.
You can bring your dress and any other accessories with you so you can see the whole look together.

- Time spent checking for loose buttons, threads on hems and trimming any loose threads on the wedding dress.
Option 2: Wedding Day Dressing Service
- Home/Venue visit the morning of your wedding.
- Steam the wedding dress & veil, unpack & check accessories.
- Dress the Bride, assisting with shoes, accessories and staging the dress for initial ‘getting ready’ photographs.
- Steam outfit for the Mother of the Bride
- Steam bridesmaids dresses
- Time spent checking for loose buttons, threads on hems and trimming any loose threads on the wedding dress.

Anna O is quite literally THE BEST. We had to postpone a couple of times and she was always responsive and so easy to deal with. She makes you feel really comfortable and no job is too big for her. We had two dresses and they both were perfect in the end. I needed some last minute changes but never worried because I trusted her completely. She was also really kind and looked after us in terms of cost. Book her if you can!

I had the incredible luck of having Anna work on my wedding dress! I bought my dress in Vancouver and had it shipped to Dublin. Anna was so kind, friendly and professional. She did a stellar job with the alterations on my dress and even added buttons down the whole back of my dress - I could not have been more in love with my dress! I have already recommended Anna to friends & family but had to leave this review for her online. 10/10! Thank you for everything, Anna!

Had to change alterations specialist 6 weeks before our wedding this year as I had bought my dress up north and due to lockdown wasn't going to be able to travel up. Got in touch with Anna and she was a lifesaver. She managed to squeeze me into her already busy schedule at times that suit me (late evenings) and was incredibly professional and brilliant. She also was extremely fair with her pricing as my dress didn't need that much work done. Would highly recommend her!

After reading a few reviews on Facebook I decided to book Anna for my dress alterations. From the moment I walked into her beautiful little studio Anna made me feel so at ease!
She is amazing at what she does! The sleeves that she added on to my dress were far better than I had imagined. I loved my dress before bringing it into Anna but I fell in love with it all over again by the time she was finished with it!

Anna was amazing from the very first email to the very last fitting. Super talented and easy to collaborate with.
Her passion for what she does really shows from the chats In her studio to the attention to detail in her alterations.
She has the professionalism and the personality that makes you feel like your dress is in safe hands which I know from speaking to other brides is something they were incredibly nervous about.

I absolutely cannot recommend Anna enough! She was just incredible throughout the whole process. I am not a fan of wedding dresses so I just bought a dress in a sample sale because it was relatively cheap and I didn't want to have to spend time searching for a dress. The dress was only OK, there were some elements I liked but there were also parts of the dress I absolutely hated. I brought the dress to Anna and she completely transformed a dress that was only OK into my absolute dress!! Not only is she amazing at her craft but she has an incredible eye for style. This is not just an alterations service, it's a bespoke styling service! She gave me alteration ideas and style tips that totally changed the look and shape of the dress on me and I just loved everything about it on the day. If you're thinking about choosing Anna for your alterations do not hesitate, she was excellent value for money and truly offers a unique service. Her studio is fab too and I loved going there for appointments!!

I cannot say enough good things about Anna. I had asked my maid of honour to find someone to alter my wedding dress and she told me that Anna seemed to be the best in Dublin. I can say now that I absolutely believe that. She was great at communicating, warm, and so good at what she does. I went to her studio with a lot of ideas about what I wanted. She patiently waited and took notes while I gave her my list. She told me which parts of that list she thought were great ideas, and very gently gave me feedback on the rest. Even if my ideas wouldn?t work the way I thought, she offered to put them in and reverse them if it turned out I didn?t like them. Having her expert eye on my ideas saved me time and money and really elevated the design. When it came to sensitive issues like weight gain and loss, she made me comfortable and accommodated an extra fitting three days before the wedding. She also made my veil, which was gorgeous. She worked to find exactly the lace I envisioned. Thank you, Anna! It was a wonderful experience working with you.

can?t begin to thank this amazing lady enough!! From the moment you walk into the studio & meet Anna, you feel so welcomed. I didn?t have the ?wow? feeling that other Brides mention feeling but put that down to my own self confidence, however as soon as I started talking with Anna she knew there wasn?t something quite right, I wasn?t going to mention anything because I didn?t think anything could be done, but with Anna she quickly puts you at ease and explains what can be done! She made me feel better than I ever have and gives you the 'wow' feeling. As soon as she had worked her magic, my dream dress was made! I?ll never be able to thank Anna enough for how good I felt in my dress on my wedding day!! I would highly recommend Anna, the best in the business!!

Anna altered my dress for my December wedding. When I received my wedding dress it was two sizes to big and that is where my nightmare began. After contacting local seamstresses in Waterford, I began to panic as nobody would work with my dress. After contacting Anna, she put me at ease. From the first day that myself and my mam met Anna at Harlods Cross she put us completely at ease and reassured us that she could sort it no problem. After all the alterations had been completed it looked like the dress had not even been touched, I lost no detail what's so ever it was truly amazing. I do not think I will ever be able to thank Anna enough for what she did for me, I felt a million dollars on the day. I would highly recommend Anna she is very talented at what she does. I travelled from Waterford for all fittings and it was worth every trip, it doesn't matter where in Ireland you are based it is worth the trip for an incredible service. I will be recommending Anna to all my friends.

I had my wedding dress altered by Anna O and was so impressed with the quality of the service and Anna friendly and professional manner. Anna altered my dress for me for my wedding in November. I can't fault the service. Anna has a lovely studio in Harold's Cross where the fittings are done. Anna was a friendly, calming presence throughout all the fittings. I lost a little bit of weight the week before my wedding and there was absolutely no problem in getting the dress taken in slightly 4-5 days before the ceremony. Anna's guidance and direction was very helpful and she is clearly very knowledgeable about fabrics and the art of the possible when it comes to the style of your dress. Would absolutely recommend.

I got married just last week 14th of November. From the 1st phone call with Anna I felt completely at ease. There was extra lace added to the back of my dress to help hide an area I wasnt happy with. The dress looked like it hadn't been touched the detail of the lace was unreal the fit was perfect. Anna was so kind and professional throughout I felt completely at ease with her as did my friend and my mam. She truly helped make me feel a million dollars and I cannot thank her enough. Anna was one of the best finds during our wedding journey.

Anna is wonderful! She was so attentive and listened to everything I said, and no changes I asked for on the dress were too much. She was super flexible when it came to arranging last fittings and collecting the dress and none of it was a bother to her. She's also a genuinely lovely person and I had fun at each fitting, which really means so much at such a stressful time! The alterations she made on my dress were perfect and she took such great care with it - you can tell how passionate she is about her work and she really goes out of her way to make sure you feel the best you can in your dress on the day. Massive recommend!

I first came to her with just one month to our wedding, and informed her that I don?t live in Ireland and would only be back again the weekend before my wedding. Anna was up for the challenge and went above and beyond to make my dress fit perfectly with only one fitting, and even opened up on a Sunday to get the job done!! I was one happy bride and my dress was exactly how I wanted it to be! Now that the wedding is over, I?m hoping to get it altered with her again so as to wear it as a dress in the future :)

Anna and her team are so knowledgable and great to deal with. Work was of exceptional quality and attention to detail was amazing. The vibe is so relaxed and comfortable and really helps make each appointment feel special. They had so many little hints and tips and were an incredible help. The bridal alterations package is exceptionally good value, especially given the quality of work. My dress looked completely unchanged and yet fit like a glove when they were done.

When I purchased my dress I knew it would need to come down at least a dress size and I was worried about the quality of the alterations, given that my dress had a very detailed lace top. I contacted Anna and once I met her, I knew my dress was in good hands. She is not only a lovely friendly lady to deal with, but very professional and extremely talented in her craft. My dress had to be re-worked a number of times, as I kept losing that little bit more weight but after each alteration, it looked as though none of the lace detail has been shifted or removed. It was simply perfect. On the day, the dress fit like a glove as though it had been made for my body from scratch.
I recommend any bride to be to invest that little bit extra and consider Anna for your dress alterations. You will not be disappointed.

Anna not only did my wedding dress alterations but she helped me design my dress when she was in Alice May Bridal Boutique, so I knew I was in good hands! She did a fabulous job altering the size of my dress, adding embellishments and taking up the hem (it was very long)! She was so calm and professional and her suggestions were absolutely spot on. My dress fit like a glove on the day and I?m so grateful she did such wonderful work with it - thank you Anna!
