Bow Musique is a friendly and adaptable string quartet (two violins, a viola and a cello), made up of 4 talented, experienced and professional players.

If your venue has limited space, or if there are budgetary constraints, we can also work as a trio or a duo.

We are based in Dublin, Kildare and Wexford but travel nationwide.

With our extensive and varied repertoire, we can cater for all musical tastes (from classical to modern pop). If you don’t see the piece of music you would like on our website’s repertoire just ask and we will do our very best to make it happen!

Having provided music for many weddings over the years, we are still excited by sharing this magical experience with our clients.

Bow Musique is a friendly, professional, experienced, approachable and adaptable String quartet, String trio or String duo that has been part of the wedding ceremony, civil ceremony, drinks reception industry since 2000 specialising in light classical, traditional irish, modern pop (all genres of music!).

We booked Bow Musique for our church ceremony and drinks reception and I honestly have no words. They were INCREDIBLE. I loved the music throughout my ceremony and the drinks reception. My guests have tormented me for their details and have not stopped talking about them. The music was magical and I cannot thank you enough. We booked them for the church ceremony for our wedding and they were excellent. They exceeded our expectations and even learned a song to play as the bride walked down the aisle. Very easy to deal with and professional.

Bow musique played at our wedding as a quartet and they were fantastic. They played classical music at the ceremony and pop music at the drinks reception. A friend of mine played a song on the harp during the ceremony and bow musique was entirely facilitating with this. The guests all commented on how much they enjoyed the music and I am delighted to have hired them.

I booked Bowmusique for a very small wedding service in Galway, and Síofra and Sandra very kindly made the journey for us. In advance, they were extremely responsive, flexible and professional, which made planning very straightforward. On the wedding day, their music (violin and cello) was absolutely beautiful, and completely elevated our service to something very special and meaningful. I had booked the music mainly for myself (!) but all the wedding guests were struck by the elegant and emotive atmosphere that was created in the church. I could not recommend Bowmusique highly enough for wedding music. Huge thanks to the wonderful musicians!

Bow Musique are the perfect accompaniment. They played every song we wanted and also stayed behind for our drinks reception outside which all our guests commented on and loved. They were so easy to deal with despite our may date changes and we really can't recommend them more.

Wow, when I arrived at the church and heard Bow Musique play the entrance song I was so blown away. It was so romantic and emotional. It set the scene so perfectly. I come from a family of musicians so they can be quite picky when it comes to the music! - but ALL the family commented how amazing the music was. They had such a big repertoire and they were so lovely emailing back and forth with help for choosing the songs. Thank you Síofra and all the gang for the most incredible music and for making our day so special!

Bow Musique were able to create the perfect atmosphere for our wedding ceremony. They have such a wonderful talent and i can not fault them. They were extremely accomodating in helping provide the back music while i signed (BSL) to ed sheerans "perfect". I only wish i could of had them playing for the entire day. They were an absolute dream.

Bow Musique played at our wedding ceremony and reception in August 2018. They were brilliant both on the day and in the lead up, Siofra was very helpful and responsive answering all of my questions! We were really impressed with the music, the entrance song in particular was beautiful! Their music really set the atmosphere that we wanted for our wedding and we were very happy - highly recommend! We were so fortunate to have the ladies play for us at our wedding ceremony and our drinks reception. The music at our wedding ceremony was so beautiful, and appropriate and even impressed our priest whom is the diocesan musical director, then the girls travelled to our venue and again played absolutely beautiful upbeat joyous music which allowed the guests get into the mood. Nothing was a problem for the girls, from the first message I sent, their response was immediate, their accommodation regarding travelling to the ceremony venue and then onto the reception venue. Their knowledge (not even considering their musical ability ) of music and its enhancing of each part of the ceremony/drinks reception and their generosity in helping and direction of the piece selections was excellent. We would ABSOLUTELY without any hesitation recommend any wedding couple to employ Bow Musique- what they add to your day is beyond compare and they are just an absolute joy to work with.

Bow Musique were a fantastic addition to our special day. They made the booking process very easy and really helped me out with song selection, it was just perfect and far exceeded my expectations. Bow Musique were honestly one of the best providers we worked with for our wedding. They were so lovely to deal with and nothing was a problem. They went above and beyond to provide us with advice for the day. They even learned some new songs that we wanted to include in the ceremony. Bow Musique played for us at our wedding ceremony last month and I can't recommend these ladies enough. From initial contact right through to the day itself, they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. They have a huge range to choose from and were more than happy to play music for us that didn't feature in their repertoire. They played beautifully on the day, and as I was walking down the aisle to my favourite song in the whole world they literally took my breath away and continued to do so throughout the ceremony. We lost count the amount of people that complimented us on our church music and I can't stop raving about Bow Musique to anyone and Everyone! Thank you so much ladies, you absolutely made our day!
