Edel is such a lovely person, and she went above and beyond to help us in planning our ceremony. She offered many suggestions to make the planning process easier on us. On the day, Edel made us both feel at ease and all of our guests commented on her professionalism. She also answered all emails promptly and was more than happy to answer all of our questions in the lead up to our big day. Thank you Edel!

Edel was fantastic.
From the moment we met Edel at a wedding fair we knew we wanted to book her for our ceremony in September 2023. She was so warm and kind and so easy to talk to from the get go.

The planning of the ceremony was so easy with her - through a few different zoom calls we were able to incorporate everything we wanted to, even things she hadn't seen before - nothing was too much trouble. We had total choice of what was included and what wasn't - with helpful insight and tips from Edel about the best order for everything we wanted.

Getting out of the car at my venue, Edel was there and calmed me immediately with letting me know everyone was there, and everything was as it was meant to be - I didn't feel any worry or panic about everything going to plan walking into my ceremony.

Our ceremony was beautiful, romantic and extremely us. Edel helped us build our dream ceremony, she helped make it truly unforgettable for not only us, but so many of our guests who continue to talk about it months after.

My only regret is that I didn't get to properly thank her afterwards when we got swept up in the post ceremony, wedding madness.

Couldn't recommend Edel highly enough, she completed our wedding day with a perfect personalised ceremony, all off our guests had attended civil ceremonies before but everyone complemented how she made it so intimate. She is worth her weight in gold.

Edel was our celebrant for our wedding in August 2023 and she exceeded all of our expectations. She took a lot of time to get to know us as a couple, something that was very important to us and on the day made our ceremony so personal. It was exactly what we wanted (and more)! We really couldn?t recommend Edel enough, she really is the best choice. She made us feel at ease throughout. We have had a lot of comments from friends and family how beautiful our ceremony was, and this was all down to Edel!

What can we say, Edel was just brilliant from the first time we spoke and booked her right through until our wedding day. Myself and my husband honestly could not have asked for a better person to marry us. Edel was professional throughout but we felt so relaxed and were able to have a laugh too. From day 1 we were at ease with Edel, conversation flowed and we felt confident Edel would support us in ensuring the ceremony reflect us as a couple. We had a few hiccups (bereavements, Covid, sick baby, Groom who struggled to finalise his vows) Edel gave us space to work through what was going on while keeping us focused.

While we asked our family and friends to get involved we wanted some surprises ourselves, Edel linked in with those involved and ensured it all came together in a beautiful ceremony that celebrated our relationship and commitment to each other.

Edel O?Connell was our celebrant and we were blown away. In the lead up to the wedding we weren?t sure what to expect, everything seemed very straight forward; a few phone calls and questionnaires to fill out. Edel absolutely nailed our ceremony, she told our story incredibly well. Our ceremony was full of laughter and very light, just how we wanted it. We would highly recommend Edel to any future couples.

Edel O'Connell was our Solemniser for the wedding. She was absolutely fabulous! She was so professional and personable from the start. We knew immediately when we had a chat with her that she was the right person for us. She was absolutely lovely and patient and just a genuinely nice person. Our wedding ceremony was fabulous. It was so personal to us and flowed so well. It was fun and emotional and tasteful. We had forgotten a document and Edel was so relaxed about it and worked around it until we got it a little later. Our wedding was delayed by 2 years because of COVID and we tried 5 times to tie the knot. It finally happened in March 2022 and it was the happiest day of our lives. We were so lucky to find Edel. She was so understanding, kind and genuinely interested in us as a couple. Edel helped us plan the ceremony and allowed us to express our relationship with our chosen songs, readings and traditions. On the day, Edel was fanatastic! She made everyone feel so welcome and Theo and I felt so comfortable in her presence. All our guests commented on how beautiful the ceremony was. If you want someone energetic, fun and loving to solemnise your wedding, Edel O'Connell is the lady for the job.

Edel made our day so special from the moment we asked her to be our celebrant. We felt as if we had known her years, she made the ceremony so personal and all the small details were so thought out to the music, readings and sand ceremony.
