I got married 9th February this year. Audrey did myself , 4 bridesmaids and my mum. Audrey was at our house and ready to start at 6:15am , she got through all 6 of us and was finished before 11am.
2 of my bridesmaids had never had their makeup done before as they’re well able to manage it themselves so they were nervous for it but were absolutely blown out of the water with their finished result.
I went for my trial not having a clue what I wanted and let Audrey work her magic and wow she did not disappoint, I didn’t think the makeup could have been any better on the day but it just turned out so amazing. The makeup photographs so well and lasted all day and night. The only thing I had in my bag was my lipstick and did not need any touch ups !!!
I can not thank Audrey enough for her unbelievable talent and skill. She was so calmed and relaxed on the day and absolutely flew though us all. Anything the bridesmaids asked for she executed it to perfection. Even provided us with a handheld ring light to take a couple of selfies ourselves lol !!
I can not emphasis Audrey’s abilities enough but can guarantee you are in very safe hands.

Audrey did the make up for me & my wedding party including 3 bridesmaids and my mother, on New Year?s Eve in Ballina, Co.Mayo. Audrey who travels far and wide and ever the professional was on the road bright & early and landed to the house at the exact time specified. She was so friendly and kept the chat going throughout the morning alongside the hairdresser. They worked so in sync and made the process seamless for all involved!

Audrey knew from doing my make up previously exactly how I wanted to look on my big day and without doing a trial was able to recreate the perfect bridal style for me as well as a suitable style for all my bridal party. My make-up lasted all day, through a bout of first look tears & all through a night of mad dancing without need for any touch-ups.

My 2 year old niece Isla, a budding make-up artist in training, was also greatly facilitated by Audrey on the day as Isla?s offers to help were met with a giggle, a smile and a positive response with the offer of a make-up sponge and brush for Isla to use! This really assisted us to keep her occupied for a portion of the morning as the beauty preparation continued.

For any bride thinking of booking Audrey for their big day, you can?t go wrong! I couldn?t recommend anyone more honest, friendly, patient and calm than Audrey. Her prices are also so budget friendly.

I feel so lucky to have had Audrey look after our make up on my wedding day. She is an absolute star! Audrey was such a warm, calming presence on the morning of the wedding. She made us all feel at ease all the while being so meticulous with her work! We all adored our make up. I have quite oily skin which is usually a concern when wearing make up for longer periods of time. My wedding make up held up all day (no need to re-powder!) and there is not a single photo where I look oily! I am over the moon. For any bride to be?s starting out with the planning process, you don?t need to look any further for a makeup artist. Audrey is a true professional, she helped me perfect my wedding look in my bridal trial and was able to recreated it even better than before on the day of my wedding! Audrey was absolutely amazing to work with.
We unfortunately had to change dates quite a lot due to covid and Audrey was so accommodating for all our date changes and thankfully I was able to have her on my day.
I booked a trial with Audrey and she was so thorough and detailed so for the morning of the wedding she knew exactly what to do with out the stress.
She was so professional and really helped me relax when the morning got super busy. She had sucha calm energy and that?s exactly what we needed. Everybody commented on the makeup and on how beautiful it was and all my bridesmaid were so delighted that Audrey gave them the looks they wanted.

Audrey is amazing at what she does . I was so nervous about my makeup and so unsure of what I actually wanted . Through the whole process Audrey was amazing offering advice , ideas and even after my trial she was so responsive to my messages . The morning of the wedding she made me feel so relaxed , it was like having a friend in the room , she was calm and just a lovely lady to have around us all , she stead right up till I was leaving incase we needed anything topped up . Myself, my Mam and my bridesmaids loved our makeup and it lasted all day . I had 3 little flowergirls who were in awe at her all morning and she didn't leave them out letting them sit on the chair and have there lipgloss done, they were delighted . There is a reason Audrey comes highly recommended. I unfortunately was a Covid bride and had booked Audrey for my original date. When we had to move that out a year, Audrey wasn't available but was ready and willing to recommend another artist, which to me is the height of professionalism. Thankfully on our 4th date, Audrey was available. She was so calm the morning of the wedding, put everyone at ease. She painted 7 faces that morning with absolute calm and everyone looked stunning. I could not recommend Audrey enough. I know lots of brides who had their make up done by Audrey so it was a no brainer when I was booking a make up artist. I was just hoping she was available and thankfully she was. Audrey was just amazing on the morning. Not only was she doing our make up, she was keeping everyone calm (especially me!), fixing button holes and lots more. My make up lasted until 5:30am. everyone was commenting on how fresh it looked even after all the dancing! I absolutely loved it.

I was honoured to have Audrey as my make up artist for our wedding in Portugal. As soon as we got engaged I reached out to Audrey to book in the date and she was very responsive and came back to me straight away. Unfortunately we had to postpone our original date because of Covid but Audrey was very helpful and rescheduled the date and made me feel at ease with this change. From start to finish the process was seamless with Audrey, we did a trial a month ahead of the wedding which was great for both of us as she got to know my skin, tone etc. and I got to know what make up and colours suited me the best. Before the wedding I had heard about Audrey?s health issues and I thought that she would not make it to Portugal but she had me rest assured she would be there. Audrey has a whole range of make up looks to suit every bride. I personally went the natural look for my big day but if you look into her portfolio she does the big glam also! On the morning audrey arrived at our home and nothin was an issue for her! She was so professional and so calm it really reflected on all of us! We have two daughters and of course make up mad and she fussed about them as much as myself so this little touch made their day, as the morning went on she didn't rush us in any way and yet everybody was done to perfection! Audrey was a dream the morning of the wedding with a big family she fitted in amazing she was like part of the family. I didn't go for a trail and I didn't need to Audrey is the best at what she does and I didn't need one all my family and bridal party loved their make up it was prefect for all my pictures it turned out great. I booked Audrey for my 2020 wedding long before Covid hit but she was so accomodating with all the changes related to Covid restrictions etc, I couldn't thank her enough for that. My mum wouldn't be overly comfort getting her make up done but she absolutely loved how Audrey did her make up on the day. Audrey called out to my house the morning of my wedding to do our make up. She was very punctual and from the minute she arrived she created a sense of calm and professionalism. Audrey did my makeup for my wedding in September and was nothing but professional from start to finish. My makeup was completely flawless! I got such lovely compliments throughout the day on how natural and flawless it looked. My bridal party were just as happy including my mum who doesn't wear makeup at all and she was so pleased on the day. We all received such lovely compliments. Not only that it was still perfection at 5am after a long day and alot of dancing. Audrey is a true professional at what she does and I would highly recommend her for your wedding.

Audrey did the makeup for my wedding day and she was so professional from start to finish. Audrey was the make up artist we got for my recent wedding and all I can say is that she is amazing!! She did make up for 7 women the morning of my wedding all of different ages and skin tones and everyone was just delighted with their make up! I honestly could not recommend Audrey enough. She was the most supportive of people during the whole wedding process. On the day itself she was so accommodating with an unavoidable late bridesmaid and all elements that happen on the day itself. I was delighted with my make up as I wanted a very specific look (Hollywood glamour) and she did it to perfection! Everyone commented on my makeup and seeing my bridesmaids - they looked stunning. Audrey from Essence of Beauty is absolutely amazing. She was my make up artist for my wedding in May of this year. She did an amazing job of not only my make up but also the make up of my three bridesmaids. Her attention to detail is second to none. During my make up trial she was happy to try multiple looks and gave great advice on products to use in the run up to the wedding. I still have people commenting on my make up from the day and asking who did it. She even made our flower girl feel like a princess with a little bit of lip gloss. I couldn't recommend Audrey highly enough. I can't wait for an excuse to go back to Essence of Beauty again.

Getting organised for the wedding I wanted a make up artist that would make me look different than I normally would going to a wedding and just go way different and vintage for the big day. I had heard people rave about Audrey and when I looked up her Facebook pictures I found out why wow is the only word to use. I quickly contacted Audrey to book her for the date in case she would be gone I was so happy when she said the date was available I remember thinking god I know she's going be amazing and make me look gorgeous on the day. I booked a trial and all I can say is wow I just remember thinking oh my god is that me she did such a wow job and I paid a deposit on the spot because I knew she was the make up artist for me. She recommended me products to buy on the day for wedding lipstick powder ect. Everything I told Audrey I wanted my expectations were exceeded and I knew that was the exact look I wanted on wedding day. Audrey made me and my bridal party and mother feel beautiful and they all looked amazing and I felt so beautifull on the day because of Audrey. I wanted the vintage look and red lips and that exactly what I got she did an amazing job on my Make up and made me feel like a million dollars and I'll always be so grateful for her making me feel like that because I wanted the wow feeling on my wedding day and that's what I got because of Audrey. She is fun and just a lovely person and in fairness she has the patience of a saint with all the questions I asked her and messages I sent her I know I must have drove her mad but she never gave out to me or Said a word to me. I would recommend Audrey to every bride she is worth every penny and more being honest I would of paid her anything she asked because she was so brilliant. Two words to describe Audrey O?Connor and what she does.... ?exceptionally talented?. Audrey worked her magic for my wedding day on August 10th. There were four of us in the bridal party, my mam, 2 bridesmaids and myself. She did an amazing job on all four and was so professional throughout her applications. She is a perfectionist at what she does. Not once on the day did we have to touch up our makeup. She arrived at my home house on time and made the morning very relaxed and had some great advice to give. One thing that will stand out in my mind always is that she asked if I would mind if she stayed to see my parents reactions to my dress. She had finished all our makeup but showed her true character and genuine love of weddings and the emotions that go along with same. I cannot recommend Audrey enough, she is truly talented at what she does and I am delighted that she was available to do our wedding.

Audrey is absolutely amazing in every way! During the makeup trial for my wedding, she was so patient and really made me feel like she had all the time in the world to get things exactly right (and I know in real life she is a very busy lady!!). The day of the wedding was absolutely perfect - she did make up for all my (many) bridesmaids and everyone LOVED their makeup. One of the girls said she was happier with her makeup for my wedding than she was with her makeup on her own wedding day! Audrey did make up for my bridal party last November and to say we were thrilled is an understatement. She spent ages on my trial and was very professional and flexible with her hours to suit me.
