Experience Irish Whiskey

This was hands down one of the best day 2 activities I?ve ever seen at a wedding! A few months back I attended a stunning wedding in Ballynahinch Castle, the wedding day itself was spectacular but the second day was my favourite. The venue loan you wax jackets & wellies to walk the grounds which is such a lovely touch! But that afternoon after exploring the grounds & getting much needed fresh air, we had the pleasure of taking part in an Irish Whiskey tasting. The host was so knowledgeable, engaging and fun and the whiskey just hit different as our group sat in the beautiful drawing room beside an open fire. It couldn?t have been more perfect! I thought it was such a lovely treat for us guests & the perfect way to spend an hour or two before relaxing again and going for round 2 that night!

I was bit unsure about adding this to our package as it was Mt fiance that really wanted to do the experience and I agreed to simply keep him happy as I suppose it was his day too! And wasn't I glad he prisisted with going on the experience, it was quiet possibly one of the best hours of our whole wedding. My husband would agree also! We did it in the hotel the day after the wedding and it was so nice to relax and enjoy as Derek made sure we were comfortable and happy, he really couldn't do anymore to accommodate us and to say it was informative and a very interesting tasting. I didn't think I was into whiskey but I certainly am now. If your half debating adding this or its your other half and not your preference trust me you won't regret giving in to this one. Highly recommended.
