I had been following Gary through social media for many years, before my now husband had even proposed, as I always knew I wanted him to do my wedding hair when the time came around. I had heard so many positive things through word of mouth and his gallery of work online seemed amazing.
And Let's just say he did not disappoint!!
I started to work to transform my hair from close to black to a lighter balayage about a year prior to my wedding with Gary, and I couldn't be happier with the experience I received, the quality of hair care and knowledge and also my hair colour on the day of my wedding was everything I always wanted.
Gary is extremely professional, honest in his opinion, gives great guidance, listened to everything I had to say and was willing to work with me and accommodate any changes I felt I wanted to make during trials and even going as far as making the changes I wanted the morning of the wedding.
Gary was very calm and relaxed the morning of the wedding, ensuring everyone felt confident and comfortable with him while also having the best laughs too. He had myself, my mam, four bridesmaids and my two daughters too that morning, and he did it with ease and we all looked amazing.

About a year before my wedding I attended Gary's salon to begin my bridal hair journey after receiving a recommendation from a friend. I had a consultation with Gary and then we decided to make a plan. All my appointments were carefully booked in and working back from the big day itself. I thoroughly looked forward to each time I had an appointment with Gary. One word I would use to describe Gary is perfectionist - I always left the salon completely overjoyed with my results. For my wedding day itself Gary arrived nice and early as communicated beforehand as he had 5 of us to do! To say I adored my bridal hair was an understatement. I felt so confident but more importantly I felt like an elevated version of myself. Gary provided great advice to me during my trial and he was completely right. All my bridesmaids and mums loved their hair as well. Gary was brilliant on the day - so calm and funny, just a joy to be around. I couldn't have imagined anyone else to be there with us that morning. If you are thinking about booking Gary for your wedding my advice is to do it. Not only does he have the highest standards I have experienced from a hair specialist, provide expert advice and never lets you leave without having exactly what you want, but Gary is genuinely passionate about achieving the bridal look of your dreams.
