Gemma is amazing, she was so helpful and professional from the moment I contacted her. My trial was very considerate and she really took the time to listen to what I wanted. On the morning of the wedding, she was the perfect person to have around, calm and fun. I loved my hair and my mother & 3 bridesmaids did too. I cannot recommend Gemma enough.

Fantastic! It took just one trial before my wedding and I was delighted with the result. Gemma gave me tips on what I needed to do in the run up to the big day to make sure the style came out as I wanted. On the day of the wedding Gemma arrived early at the venue and set out styling my 5 bridesmaids, who I might add she had never met. I had given Gemma an idea of what I wanted for them and she set out making those age appropriate and worked quickly but yet precisely achieving beautiful results. My hair on the day was even more fabulous than I expected and it stayed like that until 4am! Without hesitation I would highly recommend Gemma. You will know with confidence that your hair will be perfect on your wedding day, add to that she is a lovely person and so easy to get on with.

Gemma was as always Fantastic. We had five beautiful heads to be completed and were done so fast she is so organised came in set up and started. Gemma is a Fabulous hair stylist. Both myself and all my girls were super delighted with our fabulous hair styles for our wedding.

It's hard to actually begin to write these words as it's very real now that my big day has gone. However, there are many people who helped create my perfect day. Gemma Crossan was one of these people. Let's be honest, one of the most important things on the day for a bride are the perfect hair and make-up. I had a good few trials before attending Gemma Crossan. I was one of those brides who had one style in mind and if it wasn't created I knew I wouldn't be content and I most definitely wouldn't settle for second best on my big day. I found one of the hardest things as a bride was to find a capable hairdresser- One that had experience in all different styles from modern to vintage creating up styles. Me personally, I was interested in vintage with a Hollywood curl look shaped around my face. I felt most hairdressers created stunning styles from the back but from the front, it was extremely plain. I wanted something perfect from back and front. Looking back now, even though my heart was thumping with fear every time a hair trial would let me down, I am delighted that I had two failed hair trials with other hairdressers and as I eventually found Gemma.
She listened, understood exactly my requirements from the get go. She carried out my first trial the Friday before my wedding. I left feeling unsure. I contacted her the Sunday after explaining that I was unsure and booked another appointment. She fitted me in again the following Tuesday (even though she had a bereavement in her family) and created the most stylish vintage up style in my hair. I felt so confident leaving the salon that day, I knew this lady was going to do a perfect job on the day.
On Friday morning of the wedding, Gemma arrived at seven thirty. She had a cuppa coffee and got started on myself. It's surprising how long hair up styles take in a bridal party compared to when you just drop into a salon for a quick and easy up style, this lady puts her heart and soul into it. There wasn't a loose bit, yet I didn't feel my head was too ?tight? if that makes sense. On top of this?.SHE GIVES COMPLIMENTARY PIECES FOR BRIDES HAIR TO MATCH THE DRESS. Yes, I did write in caps letters there. Gemma is not a money grabber, she is a lady who has a thriving business because she is talented and genuinely wants her brides to look as beautiful as possible on one of the biggest days of their lives. It's her business. She has the talent and cares.
The morning of the wedding flew by. She was so down to earth, chatted away to us and gave us tips for the day as hers was only recently too. She joined my family for breakfast and was nearly like a girl who was part of the family. One of the most grateful moments for me was Gemma staying around until 12:15pm waiting patiently until I had my dress on to attach my veil properly. This probably doesn't seem like a big deal to most, but she applied it in such a way that it was solid in my hair without ruining my backcombed part. The veil stayed perfectly in place from that time to when I took it off after the meal at around 9pm.
I went to bed that morning at 6am(nearly 24 later!!!) and my hair was still perfect.I genuinely believe that Gemma is a hairdresser that listens, is creative and knows up styles. I cannot recommend her enough for a bride's big day. She will not let you down.

Can't recommend Gemma enough, she helped me choose a hairstyle that I was happy with and that suited me! Bridesmaids looked fantastic and mother of the bride also! Gemma was happy to fix the flower girls hair as she has it messed up before going!

Gemma was extremely flexible and helpful in taking care of the bridal parties hair. She is very knowledgable.

I was so delighted with the service gemma provided to me the morning of my wedding.she is so professional at her job.she made me and my bridesmaids feel so at ease.the girls up styles were gorgeous and eactly what they wanted,as for me I knew she do an unreal job and she didn't dissapoint and for the I am truly grateful to her.????????I would recommend any bride to go to her as she is amazing at her job.

I cannot recommend Gemma highly enough as a bridal hair stylist. I had an updo and I loved my hair on the day .Gemma was so helpful in the lead up to the wedding and very flexible with her time. We spent time discussing hair ideas via email and during the trial. The girls' hair was also stunning.

I had 2 trials with Gemma as I was a bit indecisive. She made me feel so relaxed and chatted to me and my bridesmaid as friends. On the morning of the wedding, she was on time (earlier actually) and did 6 heads all on her own with no stress, chatting and laughing. Would definitely recommend.
