I had the pleasure of having Lida as my makeup artist for my big day. She listened to everything I had in mind for my look and pulled it off beautifully from our initial trial to the day itself. I also had mink eyelash extensions done which were so beautiful and comfortable to wear. I tend to have sensitive eyes and she was very reassuring and gentle in the application process. Any questions I had for her she would answer them promptly via email or text. She is exceptionally professional and really friendly. My 3 bridesmaids, mother, aunt and grandmother loved her! My 83 year old grandmother especially loved her makeup and lashes! She was able to handle a large group of us (with many different preferences to how we wear makeup) with good timing due to her professional schedule layout. We were all ready with plenty of time for touch ups before heading out the door. The makeup lasted all day (and I have very oily skin) and I barely had to touch up throughout the day! I would highly recommend Lida for any special occasion and want to thank her so so much for making me feel so beautiful on my big day. Lida you were wonderful to have involved and I cannot thank you enough! x

Lida is an exceptional artist! As my stepmother put it ?she contours to perfection?. Lida looked after the make up for my wedding party and was extremely professional & punctual from my initial enquiry, through to the makeup trial and of course on the big day. She made the whole party feel at ease and everyone was delighted with the results. She listened (& delivered) to what everyone wanted and worked efficiently making sure the whole morning was relaxed and calm. I would highly recommend her.

Lida was so helpful from the moment I contacted her about doing my wedding makeup. She was quick on replying to emails and very professional throughout. She made the whole process easy and fun. We did a trial a few months before to make sure I was completely happy with everything. On my wedding day she was very organised. Myself, my mother and my 3 bridesmaids all loved our makeup and looked amazing on the day. I think I touched up my lipstick twice throughout the whole day and other than that make up looked great and stayed put all day long. Lida also did my mink lashes for the day and everyone commented on how great they looked. Really finished off the look. The fact that I was so happy with my makeup made me even more relaxed and able to enjoy the day. I would definitely recommend Lida to any bride to be.

I was very pleased with my makeup on my wedding day! Lida really listened to what we wanted and she was very friendly and relaxed on the day. Lida also did the makeup for my three bridesmaids, my mum and my aunt- her timing was perfect and we were all ready on time!

Lida did my make-up last month. I was absolutely delighted with the job she did. At the trial she took the time to listen to what I wanted and asked questions so she was really clear on what I did and didn't like. I was left feeling confident that she would do a great job on the morning and she really delivered. She was a calm, confident presence in my house on the morning and I absolutely loved the overall look, I felt like myself but the best version of me and the eyelashes lasted me through to Monday. :) All 3 girls and my mum looked fab too & were all delighted and feeling confident. I would not hesitate to recommend Lida to any Brides out there on the hunt for a MUA... I can't wait til I have an excuse to get my make-up done by her again. Thanks again Lida!

Sorry it has taken me a while to get to email you, things have been a bit hectic since we came back from our honeymoon. I just wanted to say thank you so much for the amazing job you did on my make up and the make up for all my bridal party for my wedding in April. Everyone loved their make up and we got so many compliments throughout the day from our guests. The bridesmaids are still talking about their makeup on the day and I have never seen my Mother looking so well. The make up stayed put all day and night and still looked as flawless at midnight as it did that morning. (And we did ALOT of dancing ha ha)
You were so professional and easy to deal with and you really put me at ease on what can easily be a very stressful day. I can't recommend you highly enough to anyone looking to have their make up done for any occasion but especially for their wedding day. I will definitely be back in touch with you in relation to booking some one on one lessons for myself in the near future.

The trial was really helpful and really put my mind at ease - I knew I wouldn't have to worry about my wedding make up because I could trust her.
On the morning of the wedding she arrived in plenty of time and was friendly, warm and calm with everybody all morning. She was totally flexible and her punctuality meant we were all ready in plenty of time.
The make up itself was beautiful - my bridemaids and I looked like the very best versions of ourselves. The make up was striking in photos, but we didn't look unnatural or heavily made up in person either. The make up lasted well through much dancing, hugging and kissing! I was very lax about re-applying my lipstick but luckily Lida had chosen a shade that suited me so well it didn't look terrible when it faded!
I couldn't fault her on price either - great value for money, especially considering the quality of service and the products she uses. I would highly recommend Lida.

Lida did the make up for my wedding in July this year. After the first trial I discussed what I liked and also things I wanted to change. She listened to everything I wanted and the make up was fab on the day. I brought lipstick and powder to use during the day but I actually never needed to touch the make up at all and she managed to do that without the make up looking too heavy. On my actual wedding day I was more tanned than I had been on the day of the trial but again this wasn't a problem for Lida. I also changed my mind about the eyeliner on the day and it wasn't a problem. She was very calm and relaxed about it all. Lida is an excellent make up artist. She really knows what she's doing and is well able to change any aspect of the make up to suit what you want. I would highly recommend Lida to any bride.

Lida was exactly what I needed for the lead up to my wedding, I had just had my hair trial and was not happy with how it turned out when I arrived for my make up trial. She was relaxed, friendly and knew exactly what I wanted without me even needing to tell her. My trial with Lida actually made me realise I needed to change hair stylists because I didn't want my hair to let down my beautiful make up!
My make up on the wedding day lasted throughout and it didn't even feel like I was wearing any. The lashes were my favourite part as I don't usually wear them and I had so many compliments on them.
Lida was great to have with us on the morning of the wedding too, she has a very calming influence and everyone loved having their make up done. I could not recommend her highly enough!

I got married in September this year. One of the hardest jobs I had was trying to find a make up artist, which I really didn't expect! After four unsuccessful attempts ( rock chick look really wasn't great with a lace dress!!) I found Lida. The trial went really well and she listened to exactly what I wanted and even on the day she took me through every step to make sure I was happy. I was delighted with the results. My bridesmaids we equally happy...their makeup was such a success they nearly did a ??Pippa?? on me... but not quite!!! No top ups were needed during the very long day... so much to that at 5 in the morning we were still being complimented on our makeup!! We have also just got our professional photos back and make up is flawless. One thing I would really like to mention is the fact that Lida was only booked to do myself and the bridesmaids. My mum insisted she would do her own, but on the day her nerves got the better of her and she was upset with her own efforts. Lida had no problem stepping into the breach and helping my mum with no fuss...for which I am extremely grateful. I will definitely be going to Lida again... just waiting for an excuse!!

Lida was recommended to me by a friend who had a make-up lesson with her. I went to Lida for my wedding trial and instantly loved the way it turned out. I found her extremely warm and friendly which helps when you are a nervous bride. She did both mine and my sister?s make up for my wedding and I got so many compliments from people. Every bride wants to look good on her wedding day and I think Lida did an amazing job for me. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to anyone for any occasion and I look forward to the next time I can get my make-up done with her.

I just have to start this by saying that I love makeup. I love doing my own makeup and was very nervous about giving someone else that responsibility on my wedding day. After a few trials in other places in town I was pretty convinced that I was going to do my own makeup for the wedding-until I booked a trial with Lida. She listened to what I said , got the look that I was going for and knew exactly how to achieve it... and apart from that she?s a really lovely girl. I was delighted. On the morning of the wedding, she was amazing. There were 5 of us who had to get our hair washed and styled as well as our makeup applied in 3 hours. She worked very well with the hairdresser and was so calm and confident that we?d all be ready on time and look amazing. She was right-honestly, I've never seen my bridesmaids and Mum look so gorgeous. I was absolutely delighted with my make up too. There wasn't one thing I would have changed about it. Lida was such a perfectionist, that I knew she wouldn't let me out the door until I looked perfect. Apart from a bit of lip-gloss now and then, I didn't have to touch up my make up at all. For make up to last from 12 pm to 5 AM that?s pretty impressive. I would highly recommend Lida to any bride to be.

Lida was recommended to me by a friend... I'd had a make up trial done prior to Lida and I just didn't feel it was the look I wanted for my wedding day. Thankfully Lida was available for my big day and did an absolutely amazing job.... I'm quite fussy about my make up but Lida listened to my concerns and put my mind at ease. It was pure chance that I came across Lida, but after the first five minutes I was confident that she would be the make up artist I would hire for my wedding. Lida has the ability to understand immediately what sort of bride you are and what sort of make up will compliment your wedding style. I have since recommended Lida to at least three of my friends who have also been over the moon with their make up. My make up survived the entire day and night and for the following week when we had a post wedding party Lida created an entirely new look which was also impeccable. I cannot recommend Lida enough and wouldn't hesitate to go to her again for any occasion.

I was so pleased I booked Lida to do my wedding make up. From the moment Lida arrived at the house, we couldn't have asked for more. Her friendly disposition and professional manner put us all at ease straight away. Lida did my make up along with three bridesmaids and made us all feel fantastic. Lida is amazing!! I had a lot of difficulty finding a make-up artist for my wedding day who would produce a lovely natural look, and by pure fate met Lida 2 weeks before my wedding date and booked her there and then after a simple trial, much to the disappointment of the make-up artist I had booked, but whom I never felt completely happy with. My sister, mother and I are very particular about what we want, we don't wear a lot of make-up and like to look natural, I found most make-up artists apply too much make-up, and I just wanted to look like me with a flawless face.The testiment to Lida's work is that, one year on, my sister and mother still talk about how talented she is. Lida arrived promptly, had 3 bridesmaids, mother of the bride and myself to do, and while we were all getting stressed, she was the personification of coolness, calmness and patience. I do not know what we would have done without her!!!! I would highly recommend you use her.

The task of finding a make up artist was quite daunting as it's not something that I had much experience with. However, after viewing Lida's work I was immediately impressed and contacted her to get more information. Lida was so warm and friendly to deal with and we arranged to have a trial. Within a few minutes of meeting Lida I felt completely at ease and her skill and professionalism was really impressive. She created the look that I wanted which was natural and elegant. On the morning of the wedding, Lida did makeup for myself and my three bridesmaids. Besides being so amiable and calm, all of us were really delighted with her work. As the bride, I felt like I was glowing and got lots of compliments about the natural look of the make up. The make up lasted perfectly throughout the day/night and I didn't have to worry about it all. A friend I work with recommended Lida to me, as she had her do 2 amazing make-up looks for her wedding. After I saw the pictures I knew by looking at her work that she was top class! And I am fussy!! Once I had a trial I was 100% at ease as she knew exactly what she was at, and what I wanted. My make-up was just impeccable. She knew exactly what to do to make it last all day and night. Between the trial and the wedding, I was in touch with Lida talking about various looks I had seen in magazines which I liked and she was fantastic - so enthusiastic to help me achieve the exact colouring that suited me best. On the morning of the wedding I was delighted to see her again, and felt so happy knowing my make-up would be fab, which it was! She also did my mum's and 2 bridesmaids' make-up, and they all agreed they'd never seen better or looked better! So what more can I say except that this lady comes highly recommended by me and my wedding party, and I have the photos to prove it!!
