Incredible band. Had the whole place on the dance floor from start to finish. There was even a very very brief lull at one stage as people started to tire but they recognized it and 30 seconds later the place was lifting again. Their sound is amazing, load of the guests stated how blown away they were by the quality and fun the band brought!
Pleasure to deal with also, Would highly recommend!!

We had The Controversial All-stars for our wedding band in October 2012 in Newpark hotel & also we booked Ingrid Madsen to perform the music for the church.
Throughout the planning for both the wedding and church music Ingrid and Dave were brilliant , whether helping us getting music selection right for the hotel to the music for the church .On the day of the wedding Ingrid?s performance in the church was amazing everybody was blown away with her performance.As for the night, from the very first song the band had our guests on the floor all night, they played a great selection of music, lively & energetic and had music for everyone.
We had great feedback from all our guests and especially mention also to Dave and another band member who played on in the residents bar till the earlier hours

We had the Controversial Allstars for our wedding band and we definitely made the right choice. I actually took a chance on booking the band without having seen them, just on their reputation alone! We did go along to hear them afterwards, just to decide on the playlist and we weren?t disappointed.
Throughout the planning, Dave was brilliant ? he even offered to help me with sourcing church music or if I needed any other help with other suppliers ? way beyond the call of duty!
Dave went through the setlist with me and offered to find any other particular songs we needed. We had Dave perform the DJ duties also, which saved us having to deal with one less supplier! (I believe they can offer church, pre-reception and afters sing-song also if you are looking for that too)
On the night, the band had our guests on the floor all night, had great selection of music, lively & energetic and catered for everyone. We had great feedback from our guests.

I was bridesmaid for my sisters wedding on 11th of June. To help her organise her big day I told her I would choose the wedding band. I found The Controversial Allstars online and went along to see them in Bruxelles. We booked them that night, and they were absolutely amazing at the wedding. My sister went with their highest package which had them doing everything from the drinks reception, to the band after dinner, to the DJ and then we had them at the session in the residents bar afterwards. We were worried that they might be too much of the same thing all night, but each time they changed, so it was like we had organised 4 different groups. They really were the best wedding band I have ever seen. They had the entire wedding party on the floor for the night, playing everything from Abba to Michael Jackson, to the Black Eyes peas and Lady Gaga. The next day everyone commented on what a great wedding band I had chosen, and I'd just like to thank you all for making my sisters wedding so much more fun and stress free.

i had this band for my wedding in feb this year. They offer packages that take care of all the music from the church to the dj. I can not recommend them highly enough. Ingrid has the most beautiful voice and the church was beautiful thanks to her amazing voice. The dance floor that evening was full from beginning to end. The band was unreal. Also they make the process completely stress free.

Dave and Ingrid played both our ceremony and our reception and they were flawless. Ingrid's voice is stunning and they really made our ceremony so special. They even accompanied my Dad who sand at song at the end of our ceremony.
For the reception the guests were entertained with a mix of classic and modern hits, and at one stage there was a full sing-song happening with all the guests! Everyone was so impressed with Dave and Ingrid's style, voices and performance.
After dinner, the Controversial Allstars brought the house down with an epic performance. The dance floor was full ALL night long, with a setlist that honestly covered every genre and era (which is what we wanted!). We didn't want the night or the songs to end, it was fantastic!
5* band, who are so lovely to deal with and are happy to accommodate what the bride and groom ask for. These guys are amazing - just book them!! One of our guests has already booked them for their wedding next year. A huge THANK YOU from Kate & Brian. x
