Where do we start.....we always knew The Bloomfield House Hotel was the place we wanted to celebrate our wedding, having attended weddings there in the past we knew the service and attention to detail was A+, not only that Bloomfield holds a special place in our hearts having been the place we would go on our first few dates to our engagement down by the lakeshore in April 2021.
On our first tour of the place back in July 2021 we got a warm feeling that this was the right choice for us. Abbigail, Joanne, Sharon and the events team really made the planning process easy for us, the communication from the day we booked right to the big day was excellent no question or request was too silly.
Fast forward to the big day itself and we really couldn't have asked for any better, not only did we feel like royalty but our guests did also. The food was delicious and plentiful, loads of choices for people with dietary requirements and the staff were so attentive to everyone's needs.
Thank you to all the staff in Bloomfield for making our day so memorable.

Abbigail our Wedding Co-ordinator, we can't thank her enough for everything she done for us. From the moment we met her, we knew we were in good hands. She was always available for a phone call or email to answer any questions we had to lead up to our special day. The food tasting experience was amazing and such a good way for couples to decide their menu.

On our wedding day, Sharon and Fionnuala could not have done anymore for us and our guests and we can't thank them enough. The staff were amazing and as for the food it's still a talking point from our guests on how delicious it was! Most of our guests stayed over in the hotel for the weekend and were blown away from the breakfast, rooms and facilities.

Thanks again to Bloomfield for the best day of our lives. We are already looking forward to returning to visit again soon.

Well what can I say,from the minute we set foot in Bloomfield Sharon and all the staff were amazing and so friendly and nice,just goes to show why Bloomfield is booked out for weddings in the foreseeable future.The meal was absolutely delicious you won't get better anywhere else,the newly decorated bedrooms are so spacious and beautifully decorated.Can highly recommend Bloomfield if you are thinking of having your wedding here,have been to quite a few weddings in different hotels and this has got to be my favourite.Well done Bloomfield keep up the good work and many thanks for an amazing day.

Where do I start, to say the made the day great is an understatement.
From the menu tasting, to the emails and calls back and forth, to the day two food and entertainment, everything was smooth sailing thanks to the Bloomfield staff!
Abbligail always responded to me quickly, professionally and knew everything I could have possibly asked for. She was always calm and collected and helped me whatever way I could as this was of course my first wedding I didn't have a clue and they helped with everything.
The day itself went so smoothly I didn't have to think of anything. The bridal suite the night before and morning of was booming with happiness and comfort because we had no worries, the staff took care of everything and ever so often rang to check if we needed anything which was lovely.
The food, everyone at the wedding from the picky eaters to the fancy Danish absolutely adored their meals, there is something for everyone, the meat is top quality, the veggie/vegan options are plentiful and delicious and they are so attentive to any needs or wants. The service couldn't be better.
I also had a lot of props, wedding favours, Photo Booth etc, and I had to worry about none of it, I got it all handed to me on my check out in lovely neat little boxes.

I could not fault this hotel, my parents and my guests say it was the best and I would highly recommend them to anyone and everyone getting married!!

What can I say the wedding team and staff were so helpful the decor of the room was out of this world great advice and very patient and help dealing with stress and help calm both of us always very responsive to email and phonecall and food was a 100 out of 10 my elderly father was even able to have the beef melt in the mouth everything went so smoothly highly recommended from both side of bride and groom everyone said best wedding they have been at in a long time

All the staff at Bloomfield are amazing so friendly and an absolute pleasure to deal with. Nothing is a problem. Abbigail our wedding coordinator was super at her job and was on hand for anything we needed. The food was fabulous and everyone including us had the best day ever.

Very helpful throughout the whole process, any concerns or questions were answered immediately. Food was delicious, the set up of the room was gorgeous and the staff were very helpful and polite.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to all the staff at Bloomfield for an unforgettable wedding day. From the beginning, we loved the venue and the warm feeling we got from our very first day there on our tour with Joanne! All throughout the process, we received great communication from the wedding team who kindly answered all our questions. When the big day came we were treated like royalty! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a smile by the Banqueting Manager Sharon. Our reception went so smoothly. We were blown away with how amazing the banquet room looked on the day and loved all the little wedding signs that Bloomfield had put up for us. All our guests said that the food was excellent and service by all the staff was top class. Some guests were accommodated last minute for alternative meals. We had our photos taken at the lake and it truly is as stunning as it seems! We?re so grateful to everyone that worked so hard for us on the day. We had an absolutely amazing day, better than we could have imagined. We?ll look forward to our next stay!

Cannot recommend bloomfeild house hotel enough, it's a stunning venue with beautiful grounds, our guests are still talking about the food , every single staff member cannot do enough for you , especially abigail and sharon they helped us with absolutely everything and made sure our day ran smooth , if you are undecided on venues go for the bloomfeild you will not be disappointed

Sharon and her team where amazing from start to finish from bringing me down to get married to looking after our guests, we could not fault anything our day was magical

We booked Bloomfield as we wanted a child friendly hotel so that both our families would have an enjoyable weekend. For that it was perfect. They all loved it with the kids catered for on the day of the wedding and the leisure centre available for them for the whole weekend. We also got the most stunning pictures at the lake. Brilliant for a family centred wedding but it's a busy hotel so there was lack of flexibility when trying to get a room to get ready in on the morning of the wedding, trying to get breakfast on morning of the wedding and trying to make plans for day two. Just remember when booking it's great for families but a busy hotel so if you want a more exclusive venue it wouldn't be the best option.

The wedding team and all the staff at Bloomfield were exceptionally helpful throughout the whole wedding process. Nothing was ever a problem (even throughout the difficult time of Covid). We changed dates three times and the management of this difficult situation was superb. The venue options are fantastic and they really cover the decorations of your room so well. I would highly recommend bloomfield, the grounds are fantastic as are the facilities and the food. So glad we chose it as our wedding venue.

We had an amazing day at the Bloomfield for our wedding. We had just under 100 guests for the ceremony and reception. Both the wedding team and service team were very accommodating and helpful through the whole process, especially as Covid protocols seemed to change weekly! All our guests remarked on what a fabulous day they had, from the location to the food we could not complain.

Nicola, Joanne and Lucy made the mid pandemic lead up to our day as stress free as possible. On the day Sarah deserves a special mention. Nothing was a problem! With only 25 guests we had the best day of our lives and it could have been 125 for the way we were treated like a king and queen by all staff. So professional and everyone made us feel extra special from the very first glance at the suites and rooms to the final goodbye on departure. We stayed 3 nights and every bite of food was delicious. We got fabulous photos by the lake and on the grounds. Would recommend to anyone planning their wedding!

Great place great staff very friendly

We had our wedding reception in Bloomfield House Hotel on 6th April. The whole day and the experience of preparing for it was fabulous. The team at Bloomfield were so helpful and informative at what needed to be done at different stages to get ready. On the day there was a football match that a lot of our guests were watching and Sharon and the staff were understanding of this and were so efficient at taking orders and getting people settled in the room quickly. The food was amazing as well we were so happy with everything. Cannot recommend Bloomfield enough for value as well. We will always remember the fantastic service and will return frequently in our future.

The staff, particularly Maria, were extremely helpful in helping us to organise all the details. Everything was as they had promised and they had no problem putting out all the extra decorations I had brought. They even added a few unexpected extra touches.

They were quick to respond to e-mail, punctual for meetings and just overall very professional.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Broomfield House Hotel to another bride and groom. We were extremely happy with the decision we made by choosing here.

We honestly couldn't have asked for anything more on our Wedding day, it was perfect! Everything from the table plan arrangement with the decorations and detail, the amazing food that everyone raved about, to the fact that we both felt spoilt rotten all day by Sharon and her team, and how well Noel and his team looked after everyone in the bar. And everything in between. Made our day just the most fun and perfect day! Even though the weather was really bad it didn't dampen the day at all so thank you so much for all you did for us. It really did go so smoothly and people even commented on the staff, how discreet and efficient they were yet still interacted with out guests. Looking forward to returning to Bloomfield House Hotel soon!

Just a quick note to say thanks so much to yourself, Sharon and all the hotel staff for all your help and for making our day so very special. You all made it such a relaxed and enjoyable day. It was just what we hoped for and so much more. All the guests were really impressed with the food, the d?cor and the friendly helpful staff . (There was not one sigh or throwing of eyes regardless of what was asked of them.) Sharon you played a blinder over the two days. Thanks a mil, you are a true pro. (Jeffrey was definitely considering proposing to you by the end of the weekend he was just blown away with your attention to detail and help.) Thank accommodation for having a room ready early as requested. It was a great help to them. Our own room was gorgeous, the view beautiful, the fresh sliced fruit on the plate was a lovely touch and breakfast in bed on day two such a good move, thanks for that thumbs up Joanne. The d?cor from arrival looked fabulous with the small trees and ribbon, white timber hearts, candles, lanterns, fires lighting and red carpet. The layout of the service was lovely with the arch, red carpet, the curve on the seating plan, flower display on the alter and the decorative seats for bride and groom. The function room looked fabulous with the chair covers, table settings and up-lighting. The entrance to the function room itself was lovely and the mirror on which the table plan was placed was very elegant. The wedding cake was really well displayed for all to see. Thanks so much Sharon for your quick and subtle help to my Dad with the microphone during the speeches. Thanks to the staff for the placing of the baskets in the toilets after the meal. The afters food was lovely and there was plenty for everyone. It was much appreciated that the staff on reception took such good care of cards and gifts left in for us and all our glasses ,candles ,baskets,cake etc over the two days especially when you had a wedding the next day. We noted this was a service a lot of venues do not provide as they do not want the responsibility. The serving staff and bar staff over the whole weekend were a real pleasure. The area for the meal on Saturday night was just perfect and the provision of the corkage arrangement greatly appreciated. Thanks again for making our day.

We would like to thank the staff of the Bloomfield Hotel for making our wedding day so special, in particular Joanne, Sharon and Noel. All the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and attentive. The facilities were great and the food excellent. We had no worries throughout the day as everything was taken care of, allowing us the relax and enjoy the day. We had our wedding here on the 1st March 2014. We have to say from the very first day we met with our wedding co-ordinator we knew that this was the hotel for us. The hotel itself is set on stunning grounds with fantastic scenery. Our wedding co-ordinator listened as we wanted the day to be special for us and family and friends. The day itself couldn't have gone better from the minute we stepped out of the car we were looked after as were all of the guests. The hotel made all our guests feel so welcome and the food was amazing. Our guests couldn't get over the amount of food and if people wanted more than that was no problem. We still have people saying to us what a day they had. We would have no problem in recommending this hotel. This hotel is great value for money and gives five star service. We are looking forward to spending many more nights in this hotel

We cannot thank the hotel enough for everything they did on the day. Sharon was brilliant, I was oblivious to time as she organized everything. I only found out afterwards that I was over 30 minutes late, though I was ready! I didn't have to worry about anything as Sharon handled it all. She is extremely professional and nothing was too much trouble. Food was fantastic; hot, & tasty and our guests said they were offered seconds. Waiting staff were polite & efficient and everyone is raving about the hotel. Both Chris & I wouldn't fault it and would highly recommend it to everyone getting married. I'm so glad I chose it now. From meeting Maria I knew it was the hotel for us. Fantastic hotel, staff and wedding venue. Wish I could do the day all over again!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Management & Staff of Bloomfield House Hotel for a magical day on November 15th 2013. From our very first appointment to the end of our big day the staff were friendly and helpful in all our requests. Our guests were all very impressed with the fabulous food, friendly staff and magical setting of the hotel. The room looked fantastic on the day and all the little romantic hearts and candles were noticed by all the girls. The wedding day was also relaxed, the staff just told us where we needed to be and what was happening next, we could not have asked for more. We had a fantastic day and we would highly recommend Bloomfield House Hotel as a wedding venue to all our friends and family. We will also return to Bloomfield for any family parties we have in the future.Thanks again for a magical day on November 15th.

From our first meeting with Joanne in Oct / Nov 2012 to our very last, it was a pleasure to deal with her and all the staff at Bloomfield. We found everyone so helpful and accommodating and nothing was too much effort. We both have been to so many weddings at Bloomfield over the years as have our friends and family and it keeps getting better everytime. On the day itself Sharon was on hand to take care of any last minute details / requests we had and kept everything in order. The food was excellent, the best we have yet tasted in Bloomfield and this was also commented on by all the wedding guests, some who are quite hard to please. We stayed an extra night and enjoyed the Bridal Suite again and a beautiful meal in the restaurant on the Saturday night. We would like to say a massive thank you to Joanne & Sharon and all the team and we will recommend Bloomfield at all times and we are sure we will be back at several more weddings. We could not recommend Bloomfield House Hotel highly enough for a wedding destination. From the day we first viewed the hotel up to and after our wedding day we were looked after so well by Joanne and all the staff. Each and every person could not do enough for us. The day of the wedding itself could not have gone better. The food and service could only be described as 'first class'. This was the consensus among all of our guests. The comfort and luxury of the Hotel was another talking point among our guests. Any of our guests who stayed the night all remarked they enjoyed there stay so much they were unwilling to leave the peace and tranquillity to head home! Thank you all so much and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

We had our first meeting with Joanne in June 2012 to arrange our Civil Ceremony and Reception to be held in Bloomfield House Hotel in April 2013. Joanne made us feel relaxed at all times about the arrangements for our wedding day and her professionalism in the organisation of our civil ceremony and reception was outstanding as was her courtesy and understanding as to our requirements which we truly appreciated. On the day of the wedding, Joanne and Sharon could not have been more helpful and were at hand throughout the day taking care of our guests and us. The service was superb from the ceremony to the reception with the meal being served at the giving time. Our meals were served piping hot & fresh and without any delay. We would highly recommend Bloomfield House Hotel.

Thank you for the best day we could have asked for and more. Our daughter Elizabeth's wedding went without a hitch on the 6th of April. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and organised, thank you very much. The meal, in all, was outstanding and thoroughly enjoyed by all. We stayed in your hotel over night and had a great stay; the view of the lake in the morning was a beautiful sight. Thank your event manager for me; she is an asset to your hotel. I don't even know where to start in describing our magical wedding weekend in your amazing hotel. All the way up to the wedding the banqueting staff were simply outstanding. Nothing was ever a problem for them and not once was I made feel like a ?Bridezilla?. On the day of our wedding we simply had to arrive; everything I had asked to be done was done to perfection and Joanne and her staff did a fabulous job with the rooms and d?cor. Our meal was superb and our guests are still speaking highly of the food and service. Stephen and I were both so proud to have picked such a wonderful venue for our special day. We both wish to offer Joanne, Pat and all the staff at Bloomfield House Hotel our deepest gratitude for our truly perfect wedding weekend. It was the fairytale I had hoped for and more and we can't wait to return.
