We got married on the 4th September 2024, every part of the planning, lead up to the smallest of details was made so much easier thanks to the wonderful Michelle and breda, nothing was to much. The bridal room was beautiful and spotless, the gardens where out of this world. Honestly couldn't recommend enough. We had a few extremely fussy eaters on the day but they couldn't fault the food every plate was empty. All in all the staff, hotel, gardens, rooms, food was AMAZING. This hotel we would go to now more often for dinner and an overnight stay. There is a gym, swimming pool and hot tub. There is also a spa that you can book into and just relax, cant wait to go back. Breda the day was fantastic especially thanks to you as you had to listen to all us as the drink set in 😂 thank you all so much.

From the day we enquired about booking our wedding to the big day, the staff in the carrickdale couldn’t have been as nice and helpful. It made booking the wedding and lead up to the big day so stress free. We had our civil ceremony in the hotel and the room was perfect and decorated so elegantly and inviting. The level of detail the hotel provided was impeccable. The reception and food was divine and the feedback from our guests was the same. The food was great and service for the meal was perfect. During the meal guests never had to ask for a drink they were topped up when needed. The small details that the carrickdale provided made the day so special to personalised menus with a picture of us newly married, to a lovely gift for our son and a beautiful present for our new home to remember the day. If I was to pick a venue again, in a heartbeat I would pick the carrickdale. The grounds are breathtaking and great for pictures! The service and level of detail was next to none. Breda Pickett was an absolute god send organising and making sure that everything went so smoothly. Breda made sure everything was perfect and any requests we had was no trouble for her and her team.

I got married recently in the carrickdale hotel in the Lacey suite due to our wedding being very big over 300 people. I couldn’t fault there service the number wasn’t a problem! Everyone got fed at same time and everything went great in regards to time there wasn’t anything missing! Our wedding coordinator was Amy McEneaney and well she treated us like royalty! We planned our wedding under 11 months and she made it so easy for us making us relaxed and letting us No everything was going to be perfect! I wish I could do it again it all went soo soo good! And everyone on my guests have been saying how good the service was and the food was fabulous as always!

We got married 3 weeks ago in the Carrickdale and it was the most amazing venue. Nothing was a bother and the gardens was such a bonus. Every single guest has said how nice the food was and the staff went over and above for us all. Highly recommend.

We recently had our wedding here on 28/6/24 and I cannot praise this venue enough. From the moment we entered the hotel on a wedding open day last year, we knew this was the venue for us. David and his team were unbelievable, so helpful, they took the stress off us completely and we didn't have to ask for anything the whole day. The Bernish Suite was perfect for our party of 160 people, it was beautifully decorated and the servers and bar tenders were so helpful. The food was out of this world, big portions and they even came around and offered everyone second servings. Our guests have raved about the food all week! The wedding package itself was great value for money and offered so much more than other local hotels/venues. The staff really went out of their way for my father in law who has limited mobility, they gave him a very comfortable room that was close to the reception so he didn't have far to walk which we really appreciated. The rooms themselves were beautiful and the honeymoon suite was lovely! The hotel gardens were perfect for our wedding photos, the flowers were in full bloom and the gardens are immaculate. Our photos have turned out amazing! Lots of our guests have said it was the best wedding they have ever been to! Thank you so much to David and his team, you made our day so special and we really can't thank you enough!

The Carrickdale Hotel is were your not treated just as a guest, your treated like family. We got married in May and only booked it at Christmas with the wonderful Rachel, when we were thinking about our wedding it was only 'The Carrickdale', and our guests were actually delighted with some saying they were fed up of gimmicky barns, houses and what not. With the Carrickdale there is a class about them, nothing was an issue or obstacle everything was taken care of with such professionalism and grace. The hotel gardens for the photos are absolutely stunning and the photos I've already seen are just amazing, with lots of hidden areas to explore and get some beautiful photos. The level of care and attention given to everyone and the welcome we got was just heart warming and the staff had great giggles with our 3 little daughters and they felt so special. The reception food and drink was beautiful and I'm still having our guests talk about the amazing scones on arrival. You won many hearts with them. The main dinner was as always 5 star with the Carrickdale.. the food was served quickly and plenty of second helpings for anyone wanting more which for a country wedding there was many! The food was to die for and I've got so much compliments on it since. A lovely sentiment that touched us was when Mr Mc Parland the owner came out to chat to us and welcome us to the hotel and to congratulate us on our wedding. Rachel a word of special thanks to you as nothing was to much for you.. when our band fell through you sent us lists of bands to contact. All the prep beforehand and any ideas or requests I had you were like "ill take care of that" I especially remember your warmth, kindness and honesty in some decisions. I am delighted you were part of our day. Many thanks for everything.

Where do I start, we got married recently in the Bernish Suite of the Carrickdale and all we can say is Awesome.
From our first meeting to checking out after our big day, everything was relaxed and easy going.

Rachel was our co-ordinator and she could not have done anything more for us. This was re-validated for us by the large number of compliments we received the day after our wedding.
From the food, to the staff and even the rooms. Everything was top class.

We had our wedding in the pinewood suite of the Carrickdale Holel and Spa. Michelle Barrett was our wedding coordinator, Michelle was amazing, she guided us through the whole process making us feel very at ease. Michelle listened to our requests and made it all happen. Michelle and her staff were so attentive and obliging. Their professionalism and experience was second to none, nothing was too much, This allowed us and our guests to enjoy our day completely stress free. We couldn’t fault a thing, The food,service and accommodation was exemplary, including our second day in the Ravensdale suite, which was just as well organised for all our guest to enjoy. Michelle’s eye for detail is exceptional. The atmosphere within the hotel was vibrant. The Carrickdale Hotel and Spa is of the highest standard and is Excellent value for money. We would highly recommend the Carrickdale Hotel and Spa for a wedding venue.

We had our wedding in the Carrickdale Hotel in December 23 and we were very happy with the quality of the service we received. Rachel was our coordinator and she did an excellent job, very flexible and easy going. The drinks reception room was set up so well and it set the perfect tone for the rest of our big day. The food was great and the portions were very generous with many of the guests complimenting. All in all a great day and couldnt of asked for a better level of service.

Our Wedding coordinator Peter went above and beyond for us, and anything we needed was no problem. Peter made it a stress free and enjoyable experience on the build up to the big day.

We had our wedding on the 19.10.2023. Our day couldn't have ran anymore smoothly than the Carrickdale made it. Rachel was our wedding coordinator and she was nothing short of a perfectionist, responsive and attentive. She was amazing at her job from we booked to 3 years later when we tied the knot! Everyone commented on how lovely the food was and the service. Highly recommend this outstanding hotel to any couple getting married. The grounds are the hidden gem!! We flew off to America the morning after with our children and Rachel went out of her way to make us all packed lunches for the travelling. Super nice and greatly appreciated!

We chose to have the Carrickdale as our wedding venue on 6th October. The day was perfect from start to finish. The food was superb. The staff are so professional, we met our event manager Rachel on the day we went to view the hotel initialy and she remained with us through all the planning of our wedding! She is brilliant at her job. Nothing was too much to ask, extremely organised and all our needs were catered for.

Wow! What a venue for a wedding. Not only did I fall in love with the hotel when I went to view it, but after meeting the most friendly staff I cancelled my viewings for any other venue. Peter won me over with his amazing helpfulness and personality and I knew I wanted him to be my wedding host in that perfect venue. Nothing was an issue. As I was marrying a Scouser we had over 100 guests staying in the hotel for 2 to 3 days and each and every person spoke about the staff, the food, the gardens and comfort of the hotel, with many booking a return stay for our baby's christening. Everybody has said they have never been to a better wedding and that is done to how well we were looked after by thus amazing hotel. The comfort is next level not to mention the attention to detail. If you are a bride book it asap as I can guarantee you will not find a better more caring staff and venue to take all stress away from you and make your day absoutly perfect. The Carrickdale is an absolute dream wedding venue! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by its beauty and charm. The picturesque gardens and elegant reception / ceremony and dining area provided the most stunning backdrop for our special day particularly the photographs and everything was on hand and on site so no need for travelling anywhere which gave us more valuable time to spend celebrating with our guests .

The staff were great, ensuring that every detail was taken care of, making the planning process seamless and stress-free. On the day of the wedding, their professionalism and attentiveness kept us relaxed and at ease throughout. The catering was exquisite. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. Our guests were delighted, and many commented on how they enjoyed the meal, service and the generous servings they were offered.

Special thanks to Rachel for looking after us so well on the day - including acting as impromptu photographer, cake builder and MC extraordinaire!

We cannot thank David our wedding co ordinator and his team enough for giving us the most amazing wedding day! David helped us organise our day from start to finish he was very easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding and answered all our queries and ensured all the preparations were completed. Nothing was too big of an ask and they really went out of their way to ensure our day was perfect. All of our guests were so complimentary of the staff and the venue which is half the battle keeping everyone happy. The food was incredible the servers were on the ball, checking each table regularly to see if they needed anything extra but it was plentiful. The meal was so quick, no delays or long wait between courses which is what you want at a wedding! The room the bernish suite was decorated spectacularly and took a lot of the worry out of it for us as we didn't have to set out anything we brought ourselves, the staff looked after everything. You wouldn't need a wedding planner with this venue as the staff are regimented and the attention to detail is second to none. We would encourage and have encouraged anyone looking for a wedding venue to go here as without them our day wouldn't have been half as special. 10/10 for our day, can't fault one thing, just wish we could do it all again.

We were absolutely blown away by the exceptional service we received from the moment we booked our wedding until the very end of the night. Our Wedding Co-Ordinator David was on hand for anything we needed or any questions we had. He takes great pride in his work and in looking after the wedding couple. The staff went over and beyond to exceed all our expectations.
The food was exquisite and all our guests are still raving about the meal to this day. But more than that they are talking about the sheer level of professionalism and service from all staff members to every guest and not just the bridal party.
A perfect wedding venue that has absolutely everything you could possibly need. We could not have asked for anything more. Stunning landscapes gardens, food to die for and outstanding service.

From our first interaction with the Carrickdale Hotel, and our wedding co-ordinator Rachael, we couldn't have been happier! Rachel couldn't do enough for us on the lead up to the wedding and on the wedding day itself she had everything under control. They were so flexible with us and worked with all of our suppliers seamlessly. I said more than once that Rachel and the Carrickdale were the only part of the planning I had no concerns with. Even when we came to Rachel with the last minute decision to have day two celebrations at the venue they were so accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. We had the most amazing day and all of our guests said the same thing. The food was amazing, everyone was so well looked after, the gardens are beautiful (even on a rainy day) we really couldn't have picked a better venue.

We got married on 24th June and had our reception in the Bernish Suite in the Carrickdale Hotel.
Emily was our wedding coordinator and was absolutely fantastic, nothing was an issue and the service she delivered was on another level. Eoin's dad had taken unwell the morning after the wedding and he was so well looked after by Emily and the staff working that morning.
The Bernish suit was set up beautifully and the gardens were out of this world, so well kept and the flowers were in full bloom! We had our wedding photos taken here. The bridal suite was lovely, spacious and modern.
The whole day ran so smoothly from the drinks reception, to the speeches, to the meal (all of the guests commented on how lovely the food was!) and from the first to the very last dance. We couldn't fault a thing and would highly recommend this venue to anyone planning their wedding. Thanks so much for helping to make our day so special!

We had our wedding on the 9th June 2023 at the Carrickdale Hotel & spa & cannot recommend it enough.
Amy was our wedding co-ordinator & from the minute we booked to us checking out of the hotel she couldn't have done more for us.
Amy would have responded to emails on days off & nothing was ever to much for her.
We had a large wedding (170 guests) on day 1 and all my guests were blown away by the hospitality of Amy & her staff. There was no ques at the bar as they had lots of staff on, the food was hot & served quick & everyone was offered 2nds & 3rds! My guests raved about the food all weekend!
We had day 2 at the hotel with 100 of our guests & again the staff couldn't have been better. Amy has basically set us up like a wedding for our day 2 sit down meal which even included a personalised menu! Later on that evening during our entertainment Amy sent staff out with complimentary nibbles. No detail was missed & I couldn't be more grateful for Amy making the most special weekend of our lives what is was!
The accommodation as always was second to none! We had 76 rooms booked in total for our wedding guests & there was not one complaint from anyone! I'm out bridal suite when we checked in was the most thoughtful little gift, a personalised frame of our names/wedding date to take home with us!
The grounds at the Carrickdale are a hidden gem & a welcomed bonus for taking your wedding pictures! Our guests enjoyed the hospitality of the secret garden on day 2, the food, staff & atmosphere was amazing!

I had the most incredible experience at Carrickdale Hotel in Ireland for my wedding on 12/05/23. David, our coordinator, was an absolute gem throughout the entire process. From the moment we began planning to the big day itself, he went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect.

The venue itself was stunning. The garden provided a picturesque backdrop for our wedding photos, with the majestic mountains adding a touch of natural beauty. It was like something out of a fairytale.

The suite where we held our reception was nothing short of perfection. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the elegant décor to the exquisite table settings. Every aspect of the room contributed to the magical atmosphere of our special day.

And let's talk about the honeymoon suite - wow! It was incredibly spacious, providing us with the perfect sanctuary to relax and unwind after the festivities. The privacy afforded by the suite allowed us to fully enjoy our first moments together as a married couple in absolute luxury.

Overall, our experience at Carrickdale Hotel surpassed all expectations. From the breathtaking surroundings to the impeccable service provided by David and the entire team, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding venue. It truly was a day we will cherish forever.

We recently held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Carrickdale. Our wedding coordinator was Melissa who was exceptional. Nothing was an issue when came to both the ceremony and reception. We had a few autistic children in our party and the carrickdale provided all the necessary requirements for each child individually. The food was incredible with many guests commenting on throughout the evening and many weeks after.

We were lucky enough to have the bridal suite for 2 nights and it was lovely to have a room from home. We had a 4month old daughter and the staff throughout offered many times support.

From start to finish we cannot fault the carrickdale our helping us celebrate our special day.

We had the best time at our wedding in the Carrickdale this year! Any questions we had before the day (big or small) were answered so promptly! They were really flexible about numbers/food etc. The setup in the Bernish Suite is really beautiful and we didn't even feel the need to add anything more to the decor than what the hotel already provides. They kept the flow of the evening going perfectly. The guests raved about the food (it was really delicious and they even come around and offer you more during the main course - the starter vol au vents were my favourite though!). They also surprised us with a lovely wedding gift which we will treasure.

We had our wedding last week and I cannot recommend the Carrickdale enough. We were a covid couple and of course, kept having to change dates. Despite the ongoing, probably head wrecking, this was no issue to Michelle and her team. Any time I needed to get in touch, they were very responsive, always the same day and nothing was ever an issue. On the lead up to the wedding, Michelle was fantastic. Nothing was too much of an ask and she was a wealth of info and advice. On the day, it was perfect. Food, drink, atmosphere, staff - everything was wonderful. I have received so many compliments about the food, craic and the attentiveness of staff. The Carrickdale know how to pull off weddings and they do it to perfection. We would again like to thank the Carrickdale, Michelle and the staff for making our wedding day so special, Emmet and Mary Clarke.

We had our wedding in the Carrickdale on NYE and we couldn't have wished for anything more. The staff, the service & the food were all fantastic.
The planning & build-up to the day and the day itself were completely stress free due to the work of David and his whole team at the hotel. We had a second night for family & friends on NYD and again the hotel organised all for us and was another great day.
We would highly recommend the Carrickdale as a wedding venue. All our guests had a ball (including all the kids) and they too would recommend the venue.

Myself and my Husband James had our wedding in The Bernish Suite of The Carrickdale on 28th December 2022. We could not be happier with how our wedding reception turned out. Everything from the room decor, service, food, the friendliness of the staff - Everything was perfect. We were able to dodge the rain to get some photographs taken in the hotel gardens which have turned out amazing - It is so convinient to have such beautiful on site facilites for the photographer to avail of. We also had a day 2 celebration in the Bernish reception area with a buffet for our guests - Again the food and service was first class.
A special thank you to our wedding co-ordinator David who went above and beyond for us in every way imaginable - He even helped me wash the dirt out of my dress before my photographs were taken which was miles above anything expected of him. We could not recommend David or The Carrickdale more.

Wow, what can we say about the Carrickdale Hotel and Spa! Words cannot describe how amazing this venue is. We are so delighted we chose the Carrickdale. My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception here.
- The venue itself looked amazing- the d?cor, furniture, lighting etc enhanced our photos and provided beautiful background-our photos that portrayed an air of grandeur with the open fires, chandeliers and extravagant flower displays. The beautiful Gardens onsite meant we did not have to leave the venue for photos.
- The staff were extremely accommodating, very friendly, and complimentary and literally couldn't do enough for us and our guests. Laura- our wedding coordinator was fabulous. We had a small number of guest (66) Laura gave us complimentary rooms and allowed us to use the bigger suite for our reception even though the requirement for these extras were a minimum of 90 guests. We had to make so many changes just a few weeks before our wedding but this was no problem at all for the Carrickdale. Laura arranged sandwiches for our guests while we were having photos taken so they would not be hungry waiting for the meal. There wasn't a crumb left and guests were delighted with that little extra thought.
- The food was amazing, there was plenty of it too. There was plenty of staff so none of the guests were left waiting for their meal to be served. Everyone was offered second and third helpings.
- The rooms were very modern, beds extremely comfortable, showers very powerful, spa facilities just divine, outside hot tube overlooking the secret Garden was just so relaxing. We were told there was no rush at all to check out.
- Feedback from our guests- the staff were amazing, most guest remarked the staff were the best and nicest staff they have ever come across at a wedding. Our guests also remarked on the beautiful food, how much food there was and how full they were after the meal.

In summary, we are absolutely over the moon with the Carrickdale- we would like to thank all the staff for making us and our guests feel like VIP's. The staff of the Carrickdale are amazing. We will now be regular guests at this hotel, we love every bit of staying, dining and relaxing here.

We recently had our wedding reception here and we were delighted with everything. We had gotten married the previous week and wanted a more casual wedding reception party and Carrickdale was the only hotel we visited that catered to our needs and understood what we wanted from the day. David the manager made everything so simple and was very helpful throughout the planning. Everything went so well on the day and all our guests commented on the high quality rooms, food and facilities in the hotel. We had a brilliant time and are delighted we chose the Carrickdale for our celebrations!

We were married in October 2022, Rachel Doherty was our wedding planner, she was welcoming, professional and paid attention to detail which made planning the wedding very easy as the Carrickdale took care of everything. Our wedding was in the Burnish suite, it was beautifully decorated with warm autumn florals, the food and hospitality were impressive and the standard of service outstanding. The gardens for photos and our bridal suite were both fabulous. Our day was relaxed and joyful, so many guests commented on the food and and quality of service. The Carrickdale were absolutely amazing from start to finish! We had our wedding there in September and every part of organising the wedding was stress free! We had Michelle as our co-ordinator - Michelle is amazing at helping plan the wedding. She was always at the end of the phone and available - even down to calling me the night before to wish me all the best and to say all was ready to go! The food was so lovely and all allergies and dietary requirements were met. The staff were so friendly and so helpful! We were so happy to have the Bernish Suite and then the reception area of the Bernish for our day two - which included more food, this time a buffet selection that again, everyone said was so beautiful! The gardens are fabulous for the photographs - we were lucky enough to dodge the rain and get beautiful photographs, there is no need to go anywhere when the beautiful grounds are at the Carrickdale. Overall, we had the best weekend and we cannot thank the Carrickdale and of course Michelle enough! It was a weekend we will never forget! I would 100% recommend the Carrickdale to anybody - every aspect from start to finish was amazing!

Emily and her staff were very accommodating and professional on our special day. They made everything seemleess and took all the worry out of the evening reception. The food was amazing and all our guests dietary requirements were catered for above and beyond.

We had our wedding on the 2nd September 2022 in the bernish suite and where do I even begin. The whole day from start to finish was amazing, the best day of our lives! Special mention to David who helped plan and organise our wedding over the last two years, everything was perfect and nothing was a issue. David was willing to go the extra mile for anything we asked. He is a true credit to the hotel and is amazing at what he does! The gardens then are another world. I am so excited to see our final pictures. In a heart beat I would choose the carrickdale again if I could do the day all over again! The staff and service is 100% and the food is amazing also! You won't be disappointed

Our wedding reception in the Carrickdale exceeded all of our expectations by a mile! From the 1st moment we met Emily, our wedding coordinator, she made the journey so easy for us and couldn't do enough for us. The location, accommodation, venue, food and service were exceptional and it truly gave us the best day of our lives. We will be back to the Carrickdale for sure as it has left us with wondergul memories.

We couldn't have had a better experience than we did with the Carrickdale Hotel. We had our wedding on Thursday 18th August 2022 in the Bernish Suite at the Carrickdale Hotel & Spa. After a long 2 years of postponements we finally had our day and what a day it was! The Support we received through Covid was brilliant, they made rearranging everything that bit easier.

Our wedding co-ordinator Rachel is simply amazing at her job, the day ran so smoothly, the room was dressed to perfection and nothing was ever too much. The food and service was 1st class and everyone of our guests commented on how lovely their meal was. The gardens are absolutely gorgeous and there was no need to stop anywhere else for photos. I cannot wait to see mine!!

The day was so stress free, Rachel and the staff took care of everything! They even went as far as helping my Husband sew the buttons back onto his waistcoat!

If that wasn't good enough our Day 2 celebrations in the Secret Garden were brilliant! We didn't need to organise entertainment, the Carrickdale already had that sorted and the craic was mighty all day!!

We had our wedding here and cannot praise this venue enough. Highly recommended, the service is amazing and food is in a league of its own. David and his team could not do enough for us and made sure the day ran perfectly, even coming to the rescue with a sewing kit for a ripped dress. The staff were exceptional from breakfast, dinner to reception and housekeeping. The atmosphere at the hotel is absolutely amazing and the landscaped gardens and secret garden cafe is amazing for photographs. Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, either for a night away or more importantly for a family function or wedding. The entire team is so accomodating. Spa and leisure facilities are amazing too.

We got married in Carrickdale 23rd July 2022 the venue is beautiful and the gardens are great for wedding photos. I would highly recommend getting married here the service was amazing and the food was brilliant. We stayed the night before our wedding day and then we had our big day. David our wedding co-ordinator / manager he was absolutely fantastic. Everything from the night before till the day of the wedding went amazing. My family felt so relaxed the night before, food and service was incredible. David was always there to make sure everything was okay. Wedding day it was magical from start to finish, our guests was all talking about how he catered to all their needs and spoke to nearly everyone. Hotel gardens and stafff incredible. David & his staff went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs and made our day perfect. This venue is the most perfect venue for a wedding. Our guests where complimenting food, staff, atmosphere and service.

Joanne and My self got married in in a church in Carrickmacross and had our reception in the Carrickdale hotel. The hotel pulled out all they organised it that photographer had photos at a local forest for the wedding party the bride being a farmers daughter even got a silage tractor into the photo album. On arrival to the hotel we got a drinks reception where they took photos of us for the front of our menus. We then went for family photos in the beautiful gardens. The Nooks wedding band played for the drink reception inside the guests loved them. The meal was well presented and everything came out on time. Rachel was the manager we dealt with.

Superb service for our wedding on the 6th May 2022, massive thanks to Michelle who went above and beyond, so helpful especially rearranging dates due to Covid, first class service, food was amazing and beautiful gardens for photos. Highly recommend to any couple getting married, hard to beat

David and his team where completely outstanding from word go! There was nothing a hassle, and the full wedding from the organising of it, right through to the wee hours of the wedding night, David was on hand to ensure it went off without a hitch! Would highly recommend to future couples.

The grounds are absolutely stunning and perfect for photographs. Also as we wanted family photos and everyone was travelling, it was ideal that we could do these on site.
The staff and service was exceptional. They were friendly, diligent and accommodating. A special acknowledgment and thank you to our wedding co-ordinator Michelle, who went above and beyond and also kept me sane.
There was also a few thoughtful surprises done for us on the day by the hotel, which made everything even more special.

We recently had our wedding in the carrickdale hotel, the service and staff where second to none, everything was perfect . We had to change our dates a few times due to covid and the carrickdale where a dream to work with nothing was a hassle.

We finally got married on the 11th March 2022 (after 5 attempts and waiting 2 extra years). Michelle Barrett was our wedding coordinator and all we can say is WOW, what a lady!! From the very first meeting back in 2019 right up until the day itself, Michelle was always there for us and she couldn't do enough. Her professionalism and kindness was on a whole other level. This was the same for all the staff at the Carrickdale. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that all our guests at the wedding had the best time and this continued for the whole weekend. The food was unbelievable (as usual) and we could not have asked for better. Your wedding day is one of the most amazing days in your life, and at the Carrickdale, you won't be let down! Thank you to all the staff for making our weekend extra special.

We had our wedding on 4th March 2022. We had postponed from July 21 due to covid. David Connell was our wedding co-ordinator and he went above and beyond his job. David was exceptional from first meeting him in 2019. Everything from the welcome drinks to the buffet was done with a high level of detail. Our meal was amazing and highly enjoyed by all guests. Where do I start.. The Carrickdale is first class! My husband and I booked our wedding pre covid in November 2019 with Rachel. When we went to view the hotel we loved everything about it, our reception was in the Bernish suite over looking the beautiful gardens. We had the best day ever, Rachel had everything we wanted and more. All of the other staff were lovely as well. Our family and friends are still talking about how amazing the service and the food was. Definitely recommend, if you are planning a wedding make a trip to the Carrickdale!! You will not be disappointed!

The service I got from this hotel was second to none. I had a covid wedding and at the very last minute the restrictions were brought in before my wedding. Michelle the Carrickdale manager was the first person to contact me and had absolutely everything sorted. It made a difficult situation so much better. I am a wedding singer and I spend a lot of time in hotels doing wedding music and I have yet to witness the level of service and attention to detail that I got from the staff at the Carrickdale and Canal Court. We still get compliments on the food, the service and the beautiful d?cor that was all in place for our wedding at no extra charge. My wedding would not have been the day it was where it not for these hotels. Thank you again for everything.

After numerous moved dates due to covid , We finally got married in the Carrickdale in Dec 21, from the moment we had went to view the venue no matter who we dealt with they couldn't of done enough. On the day of the wedding they were superb from keeping us right to schedules etc to attending to our every needs! The food was amazing, our drinks reception was fab, the decor was stunning and the staff were exceptional! I couldn't recommend them enough! We have recently got married here in the carrickdale Hotel and we could not recommend them enough. We had Rachel as our wedding coordinator and she could not have been more helpful and was always on hand. Not enough words to say how happy we were with the Carrickdale. From the beginning Michelle and her team have just been the dream to deal with. Going to the hotel on a regular basis prior to getting engaged there was only ever one place we wanted our wedding venue to be. From the lead up to the wedding there was nothing was too much of an ask, I was very particular with certain things we wanted in the arrivals and even with COVID Michelle and her team done everything to ensure they were able to accommodate. Guests are still talking about the food, service and professionalism throughout the day, everything was simply outstanding. Walking into the Bernish Suite, the decor was beautiful and the room looked stunning. As for the gardens, our photographs are out of this world and more than we could ever dreamed of. Thanks for everything, we could sit back, relax and enjoy our day as we knew we could trust the Carrickdale to deliver everything we could have wanted. Thanks a million.

Such an amazing venue! We could not fault the service from start to finish! We had a humanist wedding so we had our ceremony at the venue and the setting was fantastic. David the manager looked after us throughout and was excellent at ensuring we picked the correct package for our needs and which was value for money. The food was outstanding! The service by the bar, function, reception and housekeeping departments was all brilliant and very professional. We had a lot of guests who stayed in the hotel and they all raved about it's facilities and service. The gardens topped it all off for some gorgeous wedding pictures. Highly recommended as a wedding venue or any other occasion!

Highly, highly recommend the Carrickdale Hotel for your wedding. We had both ceremony and reception there and David looked after us impeccably! We had our wedding in the Carrickdale hotel on the 12th of August. We could not thank the staff in this hotel enough for their amazing service. The wedding coordinator David was absolutely amazing to deal with he went above and beyond no request was too much. The whole experience was a pleasure from booking our wedding with David to the wedding day itself. The food was 10 out of 10 our guests were all raving about how delicious the meal was. The gardens at the hotel are spectacular and are perfect for wedding pictures. The Carrickdale is only 40 minutes from Dublin and offer amazing packages. We would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a top class wedding venue.

We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception in Carrickdale Hotel on the 3rd August 2021.
The day was perfect from start to finish. It was so well organised that it really put me and my husband at ease. We had both our ceremony and reception in the Ravensdale Suit. We couldn't believe how beautifully the room was decorated!
The gardens are spectacular, plenty of different spots for photos at the Bridge, fountain and pond. Amazing flowers and the grass is pristine!
The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were so lovely. Special shout out to David, our wedding coordinator. David made sure our day was just how we had wanted it.

We got married in the Carrickdale Hotel on Friday 9th July 2021, it was an unforgettable day and night, and we would like to thank all the outstanding members of staff who went above and beyond to provide such a great service and meet all our needs. It was our 4th time trying to get married due to covid-19! From the start, David, our wedding coordinator couldn't do enough for us and made sure every single detail was taken care of. Our wedding took place on 19th June 2021, we had an amazing day at the Carrickdale hotel. David our wedding coordinator couldn't do enough for us and our guests. The staff at the carrickdale made sure to cater to everyone's needs and are extremely accommodating. David made sure that the day was as perfect, with no request being too much. We had booked our wedding for August 2020, with covid restrictions we then changed it to February 2021. With a new lockdown on the cards and with a few days notice we brought the big forward to New Years Eve 2020. What can we say, a day of perfection from start to finish. Michelle and her team pulled out all the stops to make our day extra special. The Carrickdale were so accommodating and went above and beyond, a perfect day from start to finish. Jo and Paul behind the bar were so welcoming and made all our guests feel so relaxed. From the food to the service to the atmosphere it was outstanding! The Christmas decor was fabulous for the photos. We would highly recommended the Carrickdale to anyone, nothing was a problem and we can't wait to get back.

We held our wedding reception in the Bernish Suite of the Carrickdale on Monday 28th December 2020. Our wedding co-ordinator David could not have done enough for us, especially as we had to postpone our wedding from July to December. It was an extremely stressful time, trying to plan a wedding with the ever-changing restrictions but the Carrickdale went above and beyond to make it a smooth process. We could not recommend the Carrickdale enough. The service was fantastic, the food was amazing, and the staff were brilliant. The Bernish suite d?cor was beautiful and the gardens were the perfect location for our wedding photos. Even with the restrictions and the reduced numbers we had the best day and would not change a thing. We can not thank the Carrickdale enough for everything they did to make our day so special. On Saturday December 26th 2020, our wedding reception took place in the Carrickdale Hotel & Spa. We would like express our sincere appreciation to the McParland family, Michelle Barrett (our wedding co-ordinator), and all of the staff of this fabulous hotel and wedding venue. We can't even begin to imagine how difficult this past 12 months has been for the owners, management and staff of the Carrickdale, however not one portion of this hardship, financial or otherwise, was passed on to us at any stage. We originally booked the Lacey's Suite for July 25th and Michelle had planned an amazing summer wedding for us. Due to the pandemic, we had to postpone and reschedule. Throughout our entire wedding process, Michelle was outstanding. From the very first phone call in March, Michelle endeavoured to ensure we had the Wedding Day that we always dreamed of. Despite the ever-changing guidelines, Michelle continuously worked closely with us to make all of the necessary re-arrangements. She was always there for us and genuinely cared. We cannot thank her enough.

We always wanted to get married in the Carrickdale, however our Wedding Day exceeded all of our expectations. From the picturesque gardens that we used for our photographs, to the spectacular d?cor and surroundings in the Bernish Suite for our reception, we and our guests were blown away. The service and meal provided was top class, as once again Michelle, and the staff, ensured that everything was absolutely perfect from start to finish. It was a day we will never forget.

We had our wedding at the Carrickdale on Friday 23 October 2020. Where do I start , just brilliant service from start to finish . Michelle our wedding coordinator was just fantastic, with so much uncertainty with our wedding due to covid restrictions , Michelle went above and beyond to keep in touch with us the whole time in the run up to our wedding to make sure things went ok . We are very fortunate for our wedding to go ahead . The staff , the food , the service was just brilliant . We had the best day with our 25 guests and wouldn't have it any other way .

We got married on 3rd October 2020 with reduced numbers at the Carrickdale Hotel, Co. Louth. I want to put up this post to recommend to other brides and grooms how amazing the Carrickdale were to both of us. Our wedding was everything we could have asked for with our closest family and friends. We abided by the social distancing regulations and still had an unbelievable wedding. The food, service and attention to detail were fantastic. If I could do it all over again I would.

This hotel did everything they could for us in what was a strange time to get married. They accommodated many date and number changes. Our wedding co-ordinator david did everything he could for us and was always very open honest and empathetic. We had an amazing day with close family and friends, it might not have been the wedding we planned but it was still amazing and very special. The food was delicious and the service was fantastic. My guests all enjoyed the accomadation and facilities the hotel had to offer. Happy bride and groom.

They only had bad news for us as our wedding was postponed, guest list cut and a curfew time but they were very helpful and still made it feel like a wedding

Had our wedding in the Bernish suite on the 15/09/2023. The room was perfect for our numbers. Couldn't have asked for a better coordinator in David nothing was any hassle.
All our guests couldn't believe the service and effectiveness of all staff on the day. The food was outstanding and plenty of it.
Leading up to the day David and all his team were all very accommodating and a great help.
Couldn't recommend the carrickdale enough and all our guest would agree. Our day was a rainy day so the gardens weren't used but there was pleanty of photo opportunities inside the hotel.
