My partner proposed to me in the cavan Crystal and even the proposal the hotel had it all down to a tee because it definitely was not all thought of by him,lol.
After that night we both said we would get married there. When we decided to start planning the wedding we went for a viewing and met Irene and she had it sold to us within minutes. We just instantly clicked with her and we knew she would make our day special.
We were actually meant to get married in 2023 but decided to postpone and the hotel were so accommodating and understanding and moving the date was not an issue.
So we moved our date to 2025 and in the meantime Irene had been promoted to a manager and Jennifer took over as wedding co-ordinator. She was as helpful as Irene had been in the beginning and extremely responsive to any queries that I had. She has the patience of a Saint because my partner and I changed our mind so many times about what we wanted, one day we were having a big wedding the next day it was an intimate wedding, in the end we found ourselves in the middle with 100 guests and it was perfect. The ceremony room was perfect for our numbers.
The drinks reception room is great as you are away for the day to day of the hotel. The banquet room is just fabulous and the food was amazing, our guests are still raving about the quality and quantity. Some of the guests didn't want the starter we had chosen and they were given other options which I don't think you would get in many places, the cavan Crystal with definitely not see anyone go hungry. The staff are amazing, so friendly and helpful.
I would highly recommend the cavan Crystal for a wedding, they exceeded our expectations in all ways.

What unfolded was an experience so profoundly special and beautifully executed that our hearts are simply overflowing with gratitude.
From our very first inquiry, the genuine warmth and professionalism of the hotel team were immediately apparent. As we were planning from Northern Ireland, the thoughtful and comprehensive list of local vendors they provided was an absolute lifeline. It streamlined our entire planning process immensely, connecting us with incredible local talents and truly easing so much of the usual wedding stress.
Jennifer, our guiding light throughout the planning, was nothing short of extraordinary. Her responsiveness to our countless emails was truly remarkable. No question was too small, no request too challenging – she approached every query with such genuine helpfulness and efficiency, making us feel completely supported and deeply cared for every single step of the way. Her dedication truly transformed the planning journey into a joyful and reassuring experience.
The attention to detail we received was utterly astonishing, and it truly made all the difference in the world. From the incredibly compassionate way the team looked after my father and his specific health needs, demonstrating such thoughtful understanding, to accommodating early check-ins and providing excellent changing facilities for our guests, their foresight and kindness were deeply touching. And to top it all off, they even graciously accommodated us with a room for a Sunday church service for all our guests the day following the wedding – an incredibly thoughtful gesture that meant the world to us and truly cemented the sense of community for our whole weekend. These gestures, both large and small, showed such profound care and ensured every single person felt comfortable, valued, and completely at ease throughout the entire weekend.
On the big day itself, 24th May 2025, Irene and her entire, incredible team orchestrated everything with such seamless grace and heartfelt dedication. Their subtle, guiding presence throughout the ceremony was absolutely perfect, allowing us to feel calm and fully present in those most precious moments. Nicole will forever appreciate Irene's quick thinking and gentle touch in fixing her hair right before walking down the aisle – it was a small act, but it spoke volumes about their meticulous attention and genuine commitment to making our day perfect! They ensured every single moment flowed beautifully, allowing us to simply immerse ourselves in the pure joy and emotion of the day.
The ceremony room was simply breath taking. It was adorned so beautifully, creating a truly magical and intimate setting for us to exchange our vows, a moment we'll cherish forever. Afterwards, the reception area was transformed into the perfect space for our joyous celebration. It was flawlessly arranged, inviting both lively dancing and comfortable conversations. And the food! It was not only incredibly generous in portion but also absolutely delicious, receiving universal praise and delighted comments from every one of our guests. The culinary team genuinely outdid themselves, providing a feast that delighted everyone's palate.
Beyond the main event, the entire hotel team shone so brightly throughout our guests' weekend stay. The reception staff were wonderfully accommodating and consistently friendly, always ready to assist with a warm smile, whether it was helping guests check in or answering any inquiries. The bar staff were equally fantastic, efficient, and engaging, ensuring our guests were well looked after and that the celebrations flowed smoothly and happily late into the night.

We had our wedding at the cavan crystal hotel, the experience was just perfect and all the staff were a dream to work with. Due to certain circumstances we had to change from our original venue 6 weeks prior to our wedding. We rang the cavan crystal and had a meet within a few days and booked them immdatally. From the first meeting up to the day of the wedding. Jennifer our wedding planner was amazing nothing was to much for her and she was so quick to respond. The day of the wedding herself and Irene made sure everything went smoothly and they were so helpful throughout the whole day I couldn't of asked for it to go any better it was just perfect. I would highly recommend the cavan crystal hotel for anyone getting married

We recently had our wedding in July 2025. We chose the Cavan Crystal Hotel as it matched out budget but it was also a great venue to have both ceremony and reception in one place - the ceremony room being an ideal size for our small guest list (80 people).
The reception room looked fab - sweetie cart, post box, and table décor all included. This was a big plus for us. I was concerned with our guest numbers in that the room might look too big and sparse but Jennifer, the Wedding Co-ordinator, assured us that it would be perfect on the day in the way they would place the tables - and it absolutely was.
Talking of Jennifer - there really was no request that was too big. After several emails and phone calls, nothing was too much! The professionalism and help was outstanding and very much appreciated.
We should also mention (and a special thanks) to Irene. On the day she was there to make sure everything ran smoothly and likewise, the professionalism and help was amazing.
Many our guests commented on how nice the food was and what an amazing day it was!

We recently had our wedding at the Cavan Crystal Hotel and we couldn’t be happier with how our wedding day turned out! From the first time we toured the venue, we just knew this was going to be the one- the elegant ballroom, beautiful outdoor gardens, and professional staff all stood out immediately.
The whole team was an absolute dream to work with. They were organized, responsive, and made us feel so taken care of every step of the way. We especially want to thank Jennifer, Irene and Siobhan who went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly.
The food was absolutely delicious. Many of our guests said it was the best meal they’d ever had at a wedding and the only wedding they had been to that offered extra servings of meat/potatoes/vegetables.
One of the biggest perks was having our guests stay onsite. The rooms were comfortable and stylish, and it was lovely to see the guests next morning at breakfast.
Our guests are still raving about the fantastic day they had! Most importantly, we felt it truly was the best day of our lives. If you're on the fence about booking this venue, just go for it—you won’t regret it!

When we first looked at the Cavan Crystal Hotel for our wedding, till the day after the wedding nothing was any trouble for the team!
Food, service and hospitality is just brilliant!! All our guests talked about the food and how much food there was,,,no one left hungry!!! Our guest even talked about the fabulous breakfast the next morning!!
Jennifer and Irene were so so helpful the day of the wedding always checking in that we were OK or needed anything, we could not have asked for better attention!!
When we first looked at the Cavan Crystal Hotel for our wedding, till the day after the wedding nothing was any trouble for the team!

From the.day we booked our wedding the staff couldn't be more helpful. They also gave us a list of vendors which provided very helpful as we live in Kildare.
Jennifer was very helpful from day one.

Irene and the team were amazing the day of the wedding , from prompting us on what to say or.do to fixing my hair before I walked down the aisle.

We had our wedding reception in the Cavan Crystal hotel on the 3rd of May. From booking our wedding until the day of the wedding nothing was to much trouble for the team at the Cavan Crystal they went above & beyond to make sure are day was perfect for us, The food & service was fantastic all our guest complimented the food, Jennifer Irene Ursula Siobhan Gavin & Eoin looked after us so well on the lead up to the wedding & the day itself making sure everything ran smoothly for us, we had the best day and were pleased to hear our guests enjoyed it as much as we did. Thank you for making are day so special. We cannot recommend the hotel enough.

If you're thinking of having your wedding in Cavan or surrounding areas, I'd highly recommend you look no further than The Cavan Crystal Hotel. It ticked all our boxes.
The interior is tastefully decorated, there are plenty of rooms to accommodate your guests along with lots of free parking. The wedding packages are amazing and great value for money so there is something for everyone's budget.
From our first appointment we knew it was the right venue for our wedding day.
Jennifer, the Wedding Co-Ordinator is professional, friendly and is at the other end of your email/phone call to answer any query or advice you may need. She is one step ahead so everything you visualise for your special day is brought to reality
We were super impressed with our menu tasting evening. The staff made it so special. A big thank you to the chef who was so accommodating with my husband's food allergies and went above and beyond to cater for him. Needless to say we were stuffed, as the food was delicious and there was plenty of it! I also found it very hard to narrow it down to two dishes it was that yummy! We felt reassured that are guests would be happy and well fed on our wedding day. It's safe to say there was a lot of empty plates to be cleaned after the dinner service!
Ursula and Irene were fantastic, keeping the mood light and cheery, keeping our nerves at bay and making sure every step of the day went smoothly.
We decided to have our ceremony in the hotel which for us was perfect, everything under the one roof. The room was the perfect size for our guests.
Afterwards our guests enjoyed hot and cold beverages and soaked up the sun in the outside seating area. There's even a small playground for the little guests in the secure gardens to the back of the hotel!
I decided to stay the night before the wedding with my bridesmaids and loved that we were brought to a different room the morning of the wedding to have our hair and make up done. It was so spacious, relaxing and even had breakfast brought to us which was a bonus as we felt no pressure in getting fed too early or rushing down to the breakfast room in between getting pampered..
One month later, we are still receiving positive feedback from our guests.
Overall we can't fault our experience with either the staff or hotel. We feel very lucky to have had a wonderful experience and are delighted we chose The Cavan Crystal Hotel for our special day.

After attending a wedding at the Cavan Crystal few years ago, it always stood out to us. So after our engagement bubble, we had high hopes to return.
Nothing was a problem to Irene and the wedding team, regardless of the ask.
Our wedding day was unique and personal to us, but everything we asked for, we got.
The food and service was outstanding and highly remarked by our guests.
The hotel itself is harmonious and relaxed which we wanted for our big day.

We had our wedding reception at the Cavan Crystal Hotel, and we cannot recommend this hotel enough. The staff went above and beyond for us in the lead up to our big day, and on the day aswell. We had so many of our guests compliment the hotel, the service and the food! (A few guests have since returned as they were so impressed with the food!) 😃 We would like to especially thank Jennifer, Siobhan and Gavin for looking after us, our two children, and all of our guests over the whole wedding and the entire weekend. We honestly had the best experience leading up to the wedding with the team, and the best day ever! The amount of little touches and thoughtful things that the staff had done for us was absolutely heartwarming. We were made to feel so special from the moment we viewed this hotel as a potential wedding venue. This hotel will forever be so special to us and we will be back soon to treat ourselves 🥰 thanks guys for making our day so special!
I also want to mention that Paul and I were raving about how fabulous the hotel is, as well as the food and staff and how fantastic they are for holding a wedding, to a stranger on our honeymoon, and he said it sounds like nothing has changed since he had his reception there 10 years ago! :)

Perfect wedding venue!
We recently held our wedding at the Cavan Crystal hotel in March 2025, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect venue or a more wonderful team to help us bring our day to life. From the moment we started planning to the last dance of the evening, everything ran seamlessly – and that’s all thanks to the incredible staff.
The ceremony room was absolutely beautiful – elegant, intimate, and the perfect setting for such a special moment. It had such a lovely atmosphere, and we got so many compliments from our guests.
The new drinks reception room is gorgeous – a really stylish and welcoming space where our guests could relax and mingle comfortably while enjoying drinks and canapés. It was a great space for photos and created a lovely flow between the ceremony and the main reception.
And the reception room – It looked stunning. The setup was flawless, from the table arrangements to the lighting, the whole room had such a magical feel. It was exactly how we imagined it, if not better.
A special thank you to Jennifer, our wedding coordinator, who guided us through every step with such professionalism, care, and attention to detail.
On the day itself, Irene went above and beyond to look after us. She made sure everything ran smoothly, kept us calm and comfortable, and ensured we had everything we needed – often before we even knew we needed it! Her warmth and calm presence meant the world to us.

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at Cavan Crystal on 06th December 2024, from the moment we booked this venue we knew we had our perfect place, Jennifer is fantastic at her job as wedding coordinator she leaves no stone unturned and makes you feel very relaxed from day one and any wee situation she is right there to deal with it, Irene looked after us at the reception, all I can say is Irene and her team are at the very top of their game, very professional and very polite always smiling and always time for a wee chat. The Crystal Suite is fantastic for the pre drinks reception, the hotel had all the Christmas decorations up this just added to what was the most perfect day we could every have imagined to have. Our guests are still talking about the fabulous food and fantastic service that we all received, to each and every member of staff myself and Bernie would like to thank you all so much. Michael you are a lucky man to have such fantastic staff at Cavan Crystal, would definitely be recommending this hotel to anyone thinking of getting married, Cavan Crystal is at the top of the table.

I had stayed at the hotel for a weekend previously with my eldest son, and thats when I realised I found the place for the wedding of my dreams. The decor is exquisite and food is amazing. The staff are THE making of the hotel. Jennifer is a wonderful wedding coordinator she has a calming presence, which is needed on the morning of any wedding. Tara is such a great help and goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. We couldn't have chosen a better place to join our families together and start our married life. We had our wedding here September 14th. I could not thank Jennifer and the staff enough for all their help for our big day. A special thank you to the rest of the staff for all they did on the day also they were very helpful. We had the best day and best night and wish we could relive it all over again. The hotel was very accomating and helpful and we were treated like royalty. Our guest still talk about the great day it was and said it was the best wedding they have ever attended. The food was outstanding and everyone past comments on how they really enjoyed the meal. The wedding package they offer is really good value, and i would highly recommend them. We had our wedding here 4 weeks today and I could not thank Jennifer and the staff enough for all their help for our big day. A special thank you to the manager that was duty that day as she helped me on multiple occasions on the day especially pinning my dress up before my first dance💓💓. We had the best night and wish we could relive the day all over again. We had our wedding reception in The Cavan Crystal Hotel in July 2024 and we had the best day. We were so well looked after in the lead up to our wedding and on the day itself. We liaised with Jennifer the wedding coordinator who was always very helpful with any questions we had. Michael the General Manager was very friendly and nice to us and to both our families and guests. Irene in particular looked after us so well on our wedding day, she went above and beyond and is just exceptional at what she does, she adds a lovely personal touch and has great attention to detail. The day of the wedding, all the staff were brilliant, so helpful and friendly. The drinks reception room and ballroom looked great and the food was top class. We had a brilliant weekend and we are so happy we had our wedding reception in The Cavan Crystal Hotel. We would 100% recommend The Cavan Crystal to anyone planning a wedding, the hotel has a lovely welcoming atmosphere and everyone we met was so kind to us.

We had our wedding ceremony and reception in the Cavan Crystal Hotel last weekend and it couldn't have gone better. There was not one hiccup throughout the entire weekend and it is all down to the kindness of the staff. Irene and Jennifer in particular were amazing and kept us feeling very welcome and calm throughout. The venue itself was beautiful from beginning to end and I couldn't recommend this hotel enough.

The staff around the Hotel on our viewing day couldn't have made us feel more welcome

We can’t recommend the Cavan Crystal enough!
From start to finish, we had the best experience! We first met Kim when we visited the hotel, and she was just amazing. Right away, we both knew this was where we wanted to have our wedding reception. The hotel is so bright and full of natural light, which we loved! The staff instantly made us feel welcome with their positive and outgoing attitude.
We then met Jennifer when she started as the wedding coordinator, and she was fantastic. Nothing was a bother, and she helped us create our dream wedding. The menu tasting was great, and every time we visited the hotel, we were made to feel so special. Jennifer was there for us every step of the way, answering any questions!
On our wedding day, we had absolutely no worries—the day was seamless. We had met Irene previously at the hotel, and she made sure our wedding day ran like clockwork, allowing us to be completely relaxed. We really can’t thank Irene enough for making everything so perfect ❤️ Our guests gave us so many wonderful compliments about the hotel, including the amazing food and how accommodating the staff were. We also had the best day 2 here as well—special shout-out to Eoin for supplying the pints, cocktails, and the craic! The hotel has so much to offer, the pool and play park were ideal for our families during our wedding weekend!

The staff instantly made us feel welcome with their positive and outgoing attitude.
We then met Jennifer when she started as the wedding coordinator, and she was fantastic. Nothing was a bother, and she helped us create our dream wedding. The menu tasting was great, and every time we visited the hotel, we were made to feel so special. Jennifer was there for us every step of the way, answering any questions!
On our wedding day, we had absolutely no worries—the day was seamless. We had met Irene previously at the hotel, and she made sure our wedding day ran like clockwork, allowing us to be completely relaxed. We really can’t thank Irene enough for making everything so perfect ❤️ Our guests gave us so many wonderful compliments about the hotel, including the amazing food and how accommodating the staff were. We also had the best day 2 here as well—special shout-out to Eoin for supplying the pints, cocktails, and the craic! The hotel has so much to offer, the pool and play park were ideal for our families during our wedding weekend!

We recently had our wedding in the Cavan Crystal Hotel and I can honestly say that it was without a doubt the best day ever. The staff went above and beyond their jobs to make sure that everything ran smoothly. They couldn't have been more helpful always at the other end of the phone if needed. The decor in the Tiffany Suite is outstanding just perfect for the ceremony and so personal. We had the pleasure of using the new bar for a pre drinks reception which is fabulous also. The food was exceptionally good and portions fantastic. Cannot fault it atal. Highly recommend if you considering a venue.

We got married at the Cavan Crystal Hotel in May 2024, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice. The venue was absolutely stunning, providing a gorgeous spot for our wedding photos. The reception room was lovely and spacious, allowing all our guests to enjoy the welcome drinks and nibbles while listening to music.
The service was brilliant, with everyone being served food almost simultaneously. The food itself was delicious, and all our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it. There was plenty of it too!
The event room was beautifully set up, and the staff were incredibly helpful, assisting with any extras we had, like our guestbook. Jennifer and all the staff welcomed us warmly on arrival and took such good care of us throughout the day. They were especially kind to my dad, which meant a lot to us.
Michael, the manager, was exceptional in ensuring everything ran smoothly. Irene looked after us during the dinner and was attentive to every detail, making sure we and our guests were well taken care of. The bar manager, who was full of craic, made sure everyone had a great time. We also met with Tracey a few times during the planning stages, and she was so lovely and friendly.
The venue itself has some unique features that made our day even more special. The gorgeous foyer when you enter the hotel creates a wonderful first impression. The new Crystal Reception Room was perfect for our reception drinks, and the ballroom was decorated beautifully.
We also booked our band and photographer through the hotel. The band kept everyone dancing all night, and our photographer did an amazing job capturing all the special moments. The photos turned out beautifully and will be cherished forever.
Our guests who stayed at the hotel had nothing but great things to say about their rooms, which were lovely and comfortable. A few of them made use of the hotel's swimming pool and mentioned how much they enjoyed it. Meeting everyone again at breakfast the next morning was a lovely way to wrap up our celebrations.
The atmosphere throughout the day was perfect. It felt like the whole day was about us, and although there were other guests staying in the hotel, it was unnoticeable. We got married in the Cavan Crystal Hotel at the start of March and couldn't recommend it enough. We stayed on the Friday night and got married in the hotel on the Saturday and enjoyed every minute of it. We dealt with Jennifer from the start who was always on the end of the phone or email with any questions we had. We had food in the bar on the Friday night with the two families and Louise looked after us, she was very helpful and nothing was a problem for her. Michael the General Manager kept checking in on us to make sure everything was going to plan, lovely man. We met Siobhan on the Friday night who told us she'd be looking after everything for us on the wedding day and that she did, she was absolutely brilliant. Also wanted to give Pat a special mention, very helpful and friendly, all the staff were. The day of the wedding, all the staff were brilliant and do everything with a smile on their face. The Ceremony room was done lovely and the ballroom was stunning, everything was perfect. The food was gorgeous and plenty of it. We had an amazing weekend and delighted we chose the Cavan Crystal for our wedding, we couldn't fault anything. We're still getting compliments from guests on how lovely the hotel was, how nice the food was, and how helpful and friendly the staff were. We held our wedding here in January of this year. We couldnt fault anything from our time here. They made the day very personal and special, with nothing left out. The staff I give 10/10 where there for our every need with a friendly manner. The food on the day was next level. Also the bar food is unreal as we have returned twice since and will be making it most sundays. As for the rooms, they are very spacious and very clean. I would highly recommend anyone looking to have a wedding/ just an overnight stay or just lunch

We had the most amazing experience here. The standard of food, service, accommodation was 5 star. All our guests commented on the staff being so pleasant. Michael and Irene could not do enough for us. We stayed for 3 nights in the fabulous Presidential Suite. The attention to detail and planning was great. We had most of our guests stay in the hotel aswell. We had children from 1 year old to 16 and they loved the pool and rooms and food.
We love this hotel and plan on going back and doing the stairway to heaven. Close to the town aswell where we went for drinks, this hotel is outstanding

We don't know where to even begin with how amazing our wedding experience was from going to view the venue to picking our date to the day itself. The hotel is fabulous and the staff were all so helpful and went above and beyond to ensure our day ran smoothly with a special mention to Tracey, Irene, Jennifer, Siobhan and our bar man Owen who were all so friendly and helpful. The ballroom was so stunning and every little detail was perfect. The food was incredible and we got so many compliments on the high standards of the food and the quantity of food. We celebrated our wedding at the Cavan Crystal on 2nd December.
We had an amazing time, the hotel itself looked fabulous with the Christmas decorations, but that aside, the staff were extremely helpful to both us and our guests. The food was excellent and the bridal suite is amazing.

Our wedding reception was held at The Cavan Crystal Hotel in July 22. Irene and Kim went above and beyond for us to give us an excellent reception, as did all of the staff working on the day. All of our guests told us how much they enjoyed the setting, the service and most of all the delicious food. The Belavaun Suite is fabulous and bright. We were provided with complimentary draping and a fairylight backdrop for the top table which was a beautiful addition to the room. We were so happy that we booked the hotel for our reception. Our guests had lots of space to gather and sit during the few hours before entering the reception suite, something that I have noticed many venues lack. The food and service on the day was excellent with seconds being offered. The fillet steak is still a talking point to this day! We had our wedding on Friday the 13th of May 2022 in the cavan crystal hotel the wedding Coordinator Kim was very helpful with the planning the food tasting finalising touches. The staff on the day were so friendly and really went above and beyond the food was amazing and everybody commented on how nice the food was how they offered extra helpings. How pleasant and friendly friendly staff were. Irene and Bernard were amazing. The honeymoon suite was lovely and nice little touches. Everything went amazing next morning at breakfast they were all so friendly and professional. My guests were so happy with the food staff venue. The gardens were lovely t? room itself. The bar staff were lovely and a really couldn't fault the hotel in anyway everything was amazing from start to finish. Great packages and very happy we chose this venue.

If you are even considering the Cavan Crystal for your wedding, don't think about it, just book an appointment straight away. You will be blown away by the hospitality and kindness of all the staff. A special mention to Irene, the deputy general manager. Wow she is just phenomenal at her job. She is the first of the team that I met with originally and I was finally so excited about getting married. We had our wedding booked in a different venue and I was having huge doubts due to the poor customer service of the previous venue. So glad I did go to view the Cavan Crystal now! Irene is great at calming the nerves on the day also and taking care of things. She is one of the most friendliest positive people you will ever meet. We also met with Kim the wedding coordinator a few times, fantastic at her job and always very helpful. Michael, the manager of the hotel will always take the time to chat with you if you are visiting. We chose to have a civil ceremony in the hotel which was one of the best decisions, the room was so beautiful everyone commented on it. Everyone was so well looked after. Bridal suite is amazing! Gorgeous gardens outside, we didnt need to leave the hotel all day we got so many nice photos here. Great playground for the kids too. Food was fabulous!

We had our Wedding Day last Thursday in The Cavan Crystal Hotel and I would struggle to find words to explain how absolutely perfect it was. We made a bold decision due to increasing cases to bring our wedding forward with two weeks notice and Michael, Irene and Kim done everything in there power to make this a reality for us. They welcomed all our family and friends for the three days and nothing was ever too much of an ask. Food requests , entertaining and chatting with our children that were present, looking after our guests that needed a little extra hand with things. The most considerate , genuine and just lovely people. Not to mention how stunning there Christmas set up is in there stone entrance and lobby ???? With all the uncertainty out there it was so nice to feel in safe hands for a few days. We are already looking forward to returning in the new year ?

There are no words to describe how happy myself and my husband were with the treatment we received in the lead up to our Wedding day and on the day. Irene and Una were a please to deal with. Your entire team, from front of house, to your food and beverage team were absolutely outstanding and excelled throughout the day and night! We could not have faulted the hotel. Michael, Irene and Una were marvellous. I sent so many emails before our big day enquiring about things and really appreciated the swift response and nothing was ever a problem. Even though there were weddings the two days before and after ours we were still treated superbly and the highest standards were reached. So many of our guests commented on the high quality of the food and the wonderful service received. We would recommend the Cavan Crystal highly to our family and friends as a Wedding Venue. Couldn't have asked for a more perfect day, absolutely everything was perfect.
Irene done an amazing job at making our day so special.

The meal was so great, our guests are still talking about it!! There was more than enough for seconds; this kept everyone happy lol and the function room has been updated to a high standard with the gorgeous crystal chandeliers, the crisp white table covers, and the new leather white chairs made it look so modern.
The waiting staff are beyond amazing, nothing was too much trouble and they were so polite and helpful. Thank you too each and every one of you for helping on our day.
I'm so glad I chose the Cavan Crystal. I couldn't imagine having it anywhere else, and without Irene it wouldn't have been possible!

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the Cavan Crystal Hotel for weddings. The hotel is located on the Dublin road making it ideal for travelling guests. The service we received on the day of our wedding in December was incredible. The staff could not do enough for us and the personal care and attention given to both us and our families was second to none. There was no stress attached to the day as Irene and her colleagues looked after absolutely everything. They even set up all our decorations in the ballroom and gathered and stored everything safely until we checked out 2 days later. We didn't have to ask for anything and they stored all our flowers in fridges without being asked, which was a lovely touch. The rooms themselves were spacious, clean and well stocked. The bridal suite was especially beautiful and included a dining area, balcony and lounge area. Even now, a month later, I am still meeting guests who are raving about the quality of the service and food they received on our wedding day. I cannot thank the hotel enough for the magical weekend we spent in their beautiful facilities. Thank you so so much!

From the very first day that we visited the hotel, the team could not have been more helpful and welcoming. Without any hesitation, we booked the hotel for our wedding (December 2019). We had looked at other venues but we knew instantly that we wanted to work with Irene, ?na, Michael and the team for our wedding. Over the months that followed, we popped into the hotel a number of times when visiting Cavan. On each occasion, one of the team recognised us and made it their business to come over and chat. It was incredible as they must deal with so many couples each year! The level of service was just brilliant. Everything, from the family meal the night before the wedding, to the preparations on the morning of the wedding, the ceremony, the fabulous meal, to the residents bar after the DJ celebrations finished up was amazing! The team in Cavan Crystal made our wedding day magical! The hotel was beautifully decorated for Christmas and there were so many lovely touches that added to the experience. All of our guests commented on the quality of food and service of helpful staff. No request was ever an issue. We can not recommend Cavan Crystal highly enough! Thank you for the memories!

Myself and my partner held our wedding here in November and it truly was the best day of our lives. The venue was stunning, all the staff went truly above and beyond to ensure the day ran smoothly. Everyone loved the food and couldn't fault the service at all. Massive thanks to ?na, Irene and Bernard (wedding coordinators) who were amazing at what they did. They ensured we had nothing to stress or worry about. They were in regular contact leading up to the day, they went above and beyond and their attention to detail for ceremony and reception was perfect. No task was too much for them and they kept two very nervous brides calm with their friendly words of encouragement. Our guests still talk about the efficiency of the dinner service and the quality of of the food! We absolutely had the best day of our lives, we are just sad it went so fast. Would highly recommend as a wedding venue!

From our first meeting with Irene in the Cavan Crystal we were sold on this venue. We wanted a simple non fuss type wedding and Irene and Una were able to accommodate all our needs to ensure or wedding was unique to us. Simple things like alternatives to speech's and top table were easy problems solved. Our guests commented on the friendly, professional staff as well as the amazing food, portions and choice. There were surprises from the hotel throughout the day which added to the experience this hotel ensures you have. Their attention to detail and measures they take to go over and above Is just outstanding. We went back to the hotel on Sunday 27th October for a meal, to celebrate our first month of marriage and we were remembered by name by the staff! Thanks to all the staff in the Cavan Crystal Hotel for such a fantastic memorable day!

From the moment we first met the wedding coordinators at the hotel wedding fair we were treated like absolute royalty. We fell in love with the bright and modern decor and of course the sparkling wedding suite. It was just perfect for the theme we had in mind. The menu tasting gave us the opportunity to try so many gorgeous dishes it was nearly impossible to narrow our decision down to just a few! The big day itself went better than we imagined. Nothing was too much trouble, even organising child care for us at the last minute. Bridal suite was luxurious. The gardens were perfect for pictures. All our friends and family were blown away by the food, service and such friendly and attentive staff. We can't think the hotel staff, especially Una and Irene enough. Absolutely Amazing hotel!!!
From the day i walked though Cavan crystal doors undecided where to have my wedding reception, Cavan crystal went that extra mile. We 1st drove past the Cavan Crystal Hotel, complete never thought of the hotel to have wedding there, so we walked in with no appointment made, and asked about viewing hotel about a wedding, the Staff where very friendly and took us to view hotel straight away. They where bizzy at the time but it still was no issue to view hotel.
We where impressed with the staff on the viewing along there there gorgeous ball room. We had seen other hotels before Cavan Crystal but cavan crystal staff and room where nicer than the previous hotels, they went though the packages with us on the viewing and showed us dates they had available. we then decided we would come back to try food 1st before setting anything in stone. so we where then invited back to hotel for complently nights stay before booking anything.
Nights stay, happened 2 weeks later we stayed, Our room was gorgeous beautiful big bed and we went to restaunt for some food, Well the food certainly didnt let us down it was gorgeous staff where again so frindly on our nights stay and in restaunt.
next morning we booked our wedding with cavan crystal after breakfast.

We had our wedding reception in Cavan Crystal Hotel in August '19 - and all our expectations wer exceeded!! From our first visit to Cavan Crystal in January' 18 when we met Irene, we knew that this hotel was for us! The friendly nature within the hotel was evident, and the relaxed and social atmosphere was lovely to be surrounded by. Absolutely nothing was a problem for Irene Una, Michael or indeed any of the staff. Planning our wedding was made so much easier and enjoyable with the help of the wedding Team Irene and Una. They were always on hand to answer any questions and be of whatever assistance they could- at any time of the day!
We could not have wished for our wedding day to go any better - it was seamless throughout! The food was delicious, which all our guests were very complementary off especially as everyone was offered seconds! Our guests were all extremely impressed with the hotel and more importantly with the staff. Michael, Irene, Una, reception staff, bar staff and waiting staff are a credit to Cavan Crystal. The friendly atmosphere again was evident, our guests and ourselves were treated like royalty the whole weekend. An absolutely amazing wedding team & hotel for your Wedding. We had our big day on Aug 17th, and our guests are still talking about how wonderful the hotel was. The Service was superior, the decor absolutely stunning, and the food was absolutely delicious. Irene & Una supported us all the way from the date we first arrived to view the Hotel, to our departure the day after the wedding. They made the journey so relaxed for both of us and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Their ideas & suggestions were so so helpful, and we are extremely grateful to them both. It was the best day of our lives, and the location was the best choice..... We had both our ceremony & function in the Cavan Crystal Hotel, and outside of deciding to get married it was the best choice we ever made. Irene, Una & all the team in the Cavan Crystal Hotel made this the most enjoyable experience from start to end.

Cavan Crystal is an amazing venue for a wedding. We live in Australia and had planned our wedding based on the availability of dates. We had our heart set on the bank holiday weekend in August 2019. We started looking at venues in May 2018 and secured the August Bank holiday weekend without actually viewing the hotel. Irene and Una responded to all my queries very promptly and sent useful information via email like local venders and alternative accommodation options for guests. The hotel has a one wedding a day policy which was important for me.
We went Cavan to the hotel when we flew home and met Irene, Una and Michael. They were just lovely showing us around and making time to answer any questions we had about the venue. We sampled the food and wine and had a lovely evening in the hotel. They provided advice and explained how the normally plan the day.
Before the wedding I visited and left items to be set up on the day, toiletries, favours, memory table, Bernard the manager on duty assured me that he would make sure everything was in place on the day and it was. They provided us with access to MOPOSA a very useful app that made the table plan a breeze and was so useful in planning jobs and giving ideas on what needed to be done on the run up to the wedding.
They communicated with the MC and directed people subtly on the day so everyone knew what was happening. We were honestly blown away by the overall experience we were treated like royalty. The honeymoon suite is divine and I loved that they brought us breakfast in the room the next morning. The venue itself was exactly what we were looking for the space was fab, they accommodated well for the children at the wedding and had an area within our wedding space with a tv, tables, chairs and activities. The food: It was hot, good size portions and totally delicious, they even came around with second portions. The atmosphere, they were so relaxed, friendly and approachable and some of my guests also mentioned how kind and considerate all of the staff were on the day. Overall experience was excellent some of the staff collected and handed in cards that were left unopened in the residents bar. All of the staff were nothing but helpful in the run up and during the course of our wedding we couldn't praise them enough.
As a wedding venue we couldn't fault anything. The food was out of this world and all our guests commented on the quality of food on offer. The beef, the salmon, the dessert, the breakfast-it was all amazing. The breakfast eggs benedict with the wheaten bread so delicious.
The venue played a huge part in the success of our weekend and the amount of our guests who are still talking about your venue is testament to that.

The food was fantastic, we are still getting compliments about it, and the staff were so generous with it - seconds for food and the drinks were well topped up!
The wedding team were full of advice and subtle help throughout the day, testing the mic's, making sure we ate well while at the top table and really took any stress out of the day for us.

My husband and I decided after travelling the length and breadth of the country that Cavan Crystal was the only place to have our wedding reception. Their professionalism was outstanding and nothing was too much to ask. Irene was a dream to work with! Our guests complimented how amazing everything was! Cavan Crystal helped make our day the best day of our lives! From the first viewing of the hotel, there was always someone on hand to deal with any queries, no matter how small, nothing was ever a problem. The day itself ran smoothly. The staff were very attentive, and many of our guests commented on this. The meal was first class, if anyone went hungry it was definitely their own fault. On the day Una & Irene were never too far away, attending to our every need (even if we didnt think we needed anything). Some guests stayed a second night in the hotel and they commented how the service still remained at such a high standard throughout.

We had our wedding at the Cavan Crystal Hotel June 2019. From the first meeting with the wedding team they were so attentive and nothing was too much for them to do. As our day got nearer they were in constant contact with us making sure everything was taken care of and taking much of the stress off of us. On our wedding day everything ran so smoothly many of the guest complimented the staff on how accommodating they were nothing was too much trouble. The children were taken care of so well, they even set up a tv and games console for the older kids as we already had things for the younger ones to do. The meal was absolutely amazing- delicious and more than enough for everyone, again guests were complimenting how delicious and how much food there was as everyone got offered seconds.
The honeymoon suite was out of this world and set up so beautifully just another one of the touches they included to make our day so special.
I would highly recommend the Cavan Crystal Hotel to anyone who are planning to get married. 10/10 all round.

My partner and I went for the package deal that the crystal offer which includes 120 guest band, DJ, photographer and some decorations. This was a brilliant package and saved us thousands. The choice of bands is great we went with vertigo and the dancefloor was never empty and the photographer was just amazing too many photos to choice from now. The wedding staff una and irene were outstanding and their personal and friendly approach made the wedding as stress free and relaxed as possible. I cant recomend this place enough couldn't of asked for a better place staff and service.

Well not sure where to start to describe the experience we received from the Cavan Crystal. From the first moment we walked into the Hotel we were greeted with such warmth and professionalism. To be honest we looked at one more venue after Cavan Crystal and we kept comparing it back . Irene & Una went above and beyond to accommodate us. And also the rest of staff on the day were beyond accommodating. The package we went for was such value for money and the service on the day was excellent. All our quests were so impressed and thoroughly enjoy their experience. Food was amazing and the rooms are just fabulous. Wish I could do it all over again

From the beginning, it was a day filled with fun and laughter and I feel that this beautiful setting played a major part in our successful day. The new gardens were a wonderful addition to our day. They were ideal for our wedding photos and they looked absolutely stunning.

It's really so hard to put into words how amazing the staff were and how they made us feel like royalty on our special day.
From the very first visit, and right through Una, Irene and the team made everything possible!! Nothing was a bother and the effort they put into absolutely everything was truly shown on our big day. We couldn't get over how friendly and helpful the staff were throughout.
The wedding function room was just stunning!! All set up to a high standard, great size of a bar & dance floor. And the huge Crystal clear chandelier made the room complete such a beautiful feature.
As for our wedding party they couldn't stop talking about how nice the food was and how much food & wine was offered to them the day of our wedding. My best friends also commented on how friendly the staff were and how to a high standard the service was.
The special touches that the Cavan Crystal added to our wedding day will never go on noticed especially the Crystal glasses that they left in our honeymoon suite!! Such a lovely & generous gift which we will treasure forever.

I cannot recommend the Hotel enough - they were extremely friendly and supportive and truly contributed to the best day of our lives. We cannot wait to visit again.

On Saturday 16th March this year, we had our wedding reception in the Cavan Crystal Hotel.
From first contact with the Hotel through email until meeting Una customer service was exceptional.
We were both put completely at ease from day one & nothing was a problem.we attended a wedding fair to get an idea of the set up on the day & to see possible ideas that the hotel can make possible ,the wedding planners were very attentive & made themselves completely available to every one. On our wedding day, everything was perfect, when we arrived we were greeted by the staff who done all they could to help us, they spoke to everyone by name & the personal touch didn't go unnoticed.
The service was fantastic,& the food was first class & the staff were attentive.
I would recommend anyone planning a wedding to take a visit to Cavan Crystal, meet the planners & see how easy they make everything fall in to place.
We are so glad to have chosen this hotel & to meet Una who with her guidance & regular contact made everything so relaxed and stress free.

I absolutely cannot put into words how we were made to feel from the very first meeting. We met with Irene to book our day and then Una looked after us after that. These ladys are so so dedicated to their jobs and the Cavan Crystal Hotel are so lucky to have them. Una was only ever a phone call or email away and was so on the ball. Absolutely nothing was a problem and every single request etc was accommodated. She took the stress completely away from us and was so so calm throughout. I cannot thank her enough. Without a shadow of a doubt this IS the place to go for your wedding. Amazing hotel with amazing staff throughout the whole hotel. Nothing was an issue with any of the staff who were so so attentive and accommodating. I'll never ever ever be able to thank them enough. A1 star

I cannot speak highly enough about the management and all the staff at the Cavan Crystal Hotel Co. Cavan. We recently had our daughter Bernie and son in law Paul's wedding Reception there. The attention to detail was second to none, our guests couldn't speak highly enough in relation to the venue, the friendliness of the staff, cleanliness, the food and the comfortable environment. I would like to send a special thank you to Michael, Una and Irene for the help in relation to my cousin who became unexpectedly ill. I can honestly say I have never experienced the lengths you all went to for the family. All I can say is thank you all so much for making our experience so beautiful and enjoyable. Our Daughter and son in law were treated like royalty from start to finish and nothing was too much trouble. I would wholeheartedly recommend anyone considering a venue for any special occasion to visit the Cavan Crystal Hotel. From the day that we went to one of their wedding showcases to the day we checked out after our wedding the Cavan Crystal were a dream to deal with! I would highly recommend the hotel and make a special mention to Una and Irene who we dealt with most of the time. Anything we asked for we got or they offered alternative solutions. Any time we visited the hotel whether it be Irene or Una we met they were both on the same page and had our file up to date and knew all the details of the upcoming big day off the top of their head. On the day itself everything went according to plan and exceeded all expectations. The staff were so attentive not only to the top table but more importantly to the guests themselves. All food came out at the same time etc and everyone was offered second's of the main course. The main thing the guests complimented was the food itself and how attentive the staff were. Una, Irene and Brendan circled the room and made sure the guests were ok and everyone was being looked after. Brendan was also there the following morning and went around the guests at breakfast to make sure they enjoyed their day. That's only a snippet of our experience but overall they get the 10/10 from us!!

We had our wedding at The Cavan Crystal the 15th of Feb 2019, to say that the staff were phenomenal would be an understatement, Bernard, Una & Irene were extremely helpful. Nothing was too big or too small of a job for them and we knew from the moment we booked that our plans were in good hands. On the day everything ran so smoothly and we got such good feedback from our guests that the servers and staff were so kind and friendly to them and those who had kids they were very well looked after too by getting colouring books during the meal to give them something to pass the time.

They were absolutely amazing in helping us to organise our wedding. First of all the wedding package was amazing,from having a list of music bands to choose from to photographers and celebrants.
We had a civil ceremony and the room was stunning on the day , it was a Christmas wedding so the hotel and reception room was magical, the food and wine was fabulous, our guests where full of praise for the staff and management on the quality and quantity of food and drink. We had our wedding at the Cavan Crystal hotel on 14-12-18 and we couldn't have picked a better venue to celebrate our wedding. Working with Irene and Una made the planning so easy. Their expertise, hard work and attention to detail made the planning process easy. The hotel was just first class and the service of the staff was fantastic. We had our ceremony within the hotel as well, and the room just looked beautiful, it was so magical with the hotel d?cor at Christmas; and the ballroom is so beautiful with its chandeliers and lighting. One thing we must mention is the food. This was so important to us as we knew our guests would be all about the food?.and the hotel did not disappoint! The food was just first class, there was no shortage of it and nothing was too much to ask. Our guests are still talking about the hotel, their service and the food; some stating it was the best wedding meal they have ever had. Irene and Una are so friendly, going above and beyond to ensure we were happy, and the added surprises throughout the day were just lovely and made us feel so special. We honestly couldn't recommend the hotel enough to anyone planning their wedding?.you won't be disappointed with the Cavan Crystal hotel.

We got married in the Cavan Crystal on Saturday 8th December. From our initial enquiry back in January, we both knew that this was going to be the hotel for us. We booked a viewing on the hotel for the upcoming weeks. We arrived on a Saturday greeted by Una. Wow Una is so professional in her field and nothing is a problem to her, she is amazing and wonderful, Una made us feel very comfortable. Over the months leading up to the wedding we dealt with Una, Irene & Bernard. I can honestly say they put our minds at ease and made everything stress free.

Myself and my husband got married here on the 24th November 2018 and we can honestly say that the Cavan Crystal Hotel is simply the best wedding venue! When we had our first meeting with Una we both knew we had found our venue. She was so easy to talk to and deal with and we really felt we could ask her anything without feeling it was a silly question. The whole wedding team Irene, Una and Bernard are beyond professional. Our day ran like clockwork and that is down to these guys, along with the staff in the hotel, looking after every aspect of our day. They went above and beyond of us both on the day, even down to getting me a card for my husband I had forgotten and taking our groomsmen into the ballroom to run through their speeches and get used to the microphones to help with their nerves! Both of which meant so much to us and our groomsmen! It's personal touches like this that made us feel these guys genuinely cared about us and will do their utmost to ensure your wedding day is perfect. The service was outstanding as was the food and was mentioned by our guests to us and to our parents. We can both whole heartedly recommend this hotel as a wedding venue, it's definitely a 4* hotel with 5* treatment.

Amazing wedding venue
We had planned on viewing several hotels before we decided on a venue for our wedding but after meeting Una and viewing the stunning hotel and the facilities available to us we had our minds made up.

My new Wife and I got married at Cavan Crystal in September 2018 (we actually had our service in the quaint and beautiful ceremony room). We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, it was one of the best decisions we ever made.
We researched loads of hotels before making a decision and visited about 12, spending the night at Cavan Crystal before finally making our choice.
Everything is important when planning for the big day, but now with the benefit of experience, number 1 priority should be people. Finding a hotel with people who will properly look after your guests (and you) is everything.
The Wedding Coordinator - Irene - immediately came across as incredibly warm, efficient, open and accommodating. She took the time to understand exactly how we wanted our day to be, then covered all the possibilities with no fuss or sales pitch, but very quickly we realised that this was someone who would be committed to us and our many requests through the long preparation journey (for it is a journey).
We had a lot of guests travelling from near and far, some to stay the night, some to stay 2, some 3. The co-ordination that takes, with all their individual needs, their changes of mind etc. is immense. Irene and her team worked with us all the way, kept us up to date with bookings, accommodated us more times than i'll ever remember with all sorts of odd questions and arrangements.
Irene made it clear that Cavan Crystal can organise most things independently and take the stress away from us, but also if we preferred that we could tailor and bespoke the wedding as much as we liked. We took her at her word, and we were probably on the 'difficult and demanding' end of that scale, but we were never once met with anything but absolute cheerfulness and helpfulness.
On the weekend itself, we obviously had a brilliant, brilliant time. But it's not until it all happens that you realise for it to be brilliant, that a LOT of people are running around behind the scenes, tending to a thousand details, and tending to your guests.
Our wedding will be remembered by us and our guests for many reasons, but here's what made it;
The bar staff made it, because all the guests guest told us how lovely they were.
The cleaners made it, because so many guests told us stories of how warm they were and how great they were.
The waiters and waitresses made it, because no ask was too great and their good humour and patience was endless.
The receptionists made it, because every guest interacts with them and they are part of the experience and they were great.
A special mention to Bernard, the main man on the big day itself. He was just superb, I can't thank him enough.

We recently got married here and we cannot thank all the staff enough for the most stress free and enjoyable experience for the most important day of our lives! From the moment we decided on this venue our wedding planning team Una and Irene helped us every step of the way and advised what we might need/ want for our big day. On the day of the wedding all the staff here were fantastic. They greeted our guests and were genuinely happy to help with any query any of our guests had and could not do enough for anyone. Our friends and family have all commented on how fantastic the food was, it honestly was out of this world. anyone who chooses this beautiful venue will feel so valued and relaxed by all the staff who are more then happy to help from the initial queries to the special day itself. A fantastic venue, could not have asked for more. Xx

We had our wedding at the Cavan crystal in sept ?18, we genuinely had the best 2 days there, the team una Irene and Bernard could not have done more for us from the very first day we called in to have a look, our family and friends are still talking about how good the food was and how attentive all the staff were, the buffet they put on for us on the second day was fantastic upstairs in a private room even when they had another wedding that same day, could not recommend this hotel any higher, thanks again una Irene and Bernard , Rossa and Adela

Where to start, from the moment we walked into the Cavan Crystal Hotel Irene, Una and all the hotel staff made us feel most welcome and at ease about planning our big day. It wasn't hard to decide that this was the hotel to share our big day with family and friends. The months leading up to the wedding where stress free with both Una and Irene at the other end of the phone or email to help with any queries, whether it be helping to find wedding suppliers, planning food tasting etc. On the day everything went of without a hitch and all our guests had only praise for the hotel staff and the food, which was exceptional. It was all the little touches, that make the hotel so special right down to the honeymoon Suite which the staff had decorated with fairy lights and rose petals, along with leaving us a lovely gift for our wedding. We are beyond grateful to all the team at the Crystal, we would not hesitate to recommend the hotel to family and friends planning their big day :)

We had one of the most amazing days of our lives on the 24th of August 2018, and the Cavan Crystal, and its entire staff contributed greatly to that.
We were considering the Crystal as a possible wedding venue, as we've always been immensely pleased with the food at the Hotel, which really is half the battle when it comes to setting up a good wedding. So when we met with the Manager Una, and she showed us around, we instantly fell in love (with the Hotel). The Balavaun Suite was set up that day, resplendent in wedding finery. It really is an impressive room to behold upon first entering, what with those magnificent chandeliers and delicate coloured backlighting against the cloth draped walls; it's a beautiful appointed yet subtle room. We booked it on the spot; we didn't need to look any further.
We had two parts of the puzzle sorted, excellent food, and a magnificent venue. So we set about sorting out all of the other tedious details, and Una kept in regular email contact with us throughout this phase, as we advised her how we envisioned our day panning out, what extras we were bringing to the wedding night ourselves, etc.
We had a food tasting session a few months before the wedding; the food was wonderful, as always. Here we met a second manager, Irene, who was super friendly, and would assist us greatly along with Una, in the lead-in to our wedding. No request was too large, small or ridiculous for them, they?d simply reply saying they?d sorted it.
On the day of the wedding itself, our 16 nieces and nephews took full advantage of the newly opened Garden at the hotel, whilst waiting for my Bride and me to return from our photo shoot. The Hotel managers Una, Irene and Bernard took care of our wedding day with military precision, we were able to sit back and relax, knowing we were in safe hands.
The wife and I had spent the last month or so, probably a fair bit longer, if I'm honest: before the wedding, concentrating on planning our honeymoon, so inevitably some details of the reception had been let slip by us. This didn't end up being a problem as Una, Irene and Bernard, having such a wealth of wedding hosting experience, had ironed out any potential niggles before anything had a chance to become a problem.
Some of the beautiful little surprise touches of the package included: a complimentary suite for myself the night before the wedding, which came complete with a Jacuzzi; some complimentary Dutch Courage the morning of the wedding, in the form of some quality whiskey; and on the night of the wedding itself, we retired to our Honeymoon Suite (which is beyond spectacular, it's a mini apartment unto itself), to find a trail of rose petals leading up the steps, and over to the bed, where there were more petals in the shape of a heart, several mood candles around the perimeter of the room and beautiful crystal champagne flutes waiting for us upon our pillows.
The morning after, the night before, the hotel continued to exceed our expectations, we had some lovely breakfast, and then enjoyed some time in the spa, swimming pool and sauna. Several of our guests (on my side) have probably never set foot outside of Dublin before, but have vowed to return to the hotel for the excellent food and spa suites, and the ?fresh country air?. On our Honeymoon we stayed in several 5 star hotels across New Zealand, and Thailand, and the Crystal puts them all to shame.
We have to say a super Thank You to Irene and Bernard, for making our day run so smoothly, and worry free, they are complete professionals, and approached every task full of energy. The hotel staff in general are all very friendly and helpful. They were simply outstanding in every way possible. The Manager made all our 250 guests feel extra special by giving them personal welcomes and chats over the weekend. Food was plentiful and delicious. Service was efficient and exceeded our expectations. Bar staff were friendly and had the warming touch! Restaurant and breakfast was delightful. Housekeeping were fab. Irene and Una went out of their way to host our wedding and they were a joy to get to know. We couldn't have asked for any more from them or Cavan Crystal. And everyone loved the sparkle off the chandeliers! Great place to have a wedding. Good spa and beauty facilities too.

We had a wedding in the Cavan Crystal, Irene,Uan and Brandon and all the staff in Cavan Crystal went out of their way to make sure we had the best day of our lives, the food was just beautiful 120%,the people are still talking about how lovely the food was and how nice all the staff are, the wedding planners make you relaxed from the time you go in and meet them and nothing is too much of a hassle. We had our wedding in the Cavan Crystal on 2nd Aug 2018 and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue or just a weekend break away. All the staff were very friendly & professional on the day and we can't thank our wedding team Una, Irene & Bernard enough for all the work they put in to make our day so special. All our guests commented on how amazing the food was and how great the whole hotel looked from the ceremony room (we got married in the hotel) right through to the amazing ballroom and we got some great photos in the new gardens which are a great addition to the hotel.

It is obvious to see why the wedding co ordinators love and are really passionate about their work in this hotel. From the time we booked the date back in September 2017 they could not have been any more helpful in planning our big day. They gave great support in organising our day our way. Everything in the wedding package was very reasonably priced in the hotel. They also have a lovely new wedding garden that we used for our photos.
After our big day many of our guests commented how good the staff, service and food was on the day. Honestly a great service with some surprises thrown in.

We had our wedding on 27th July here at Cavan crystal hotel and it was perfect from start to finish, we knew from our first visit it was the hotel for us. Una, Irene and all their team really went above and beyond for us and all our guests commented on how fantastic the food and the service were. The gardens are a great addition to the hotel and we got lots of great photos in them. I highly recommend you give the hotel a visit and can guarantee you?ll fall in love with it as much as we did. We got married in Cavan crystal on 21st July this year. I really don't think I can possibly get across how truly amazing everything was on the day. Both Irene and Una were on duty on the day and certainly pulled out all the stops. I have worked in the hospitality industry for 25 years and so it was soo important to me that the food and service were really good. I can honestly say that I have never before been to a wedding where the food and service were as good. Irene was amazing on the day and really took on board all the things I had spoken to her about prior to the big day. Everyone still talks about how amazing the food was even the breakfast the next morning. I really can't thank the staff of Cavan crystal enough. They really have invested time and effort in achieving perfection when it comes to hosting a wedding. I am so happy we chose Cavan crystal and anyone considering it as their venue, go for it. Living in Australia and planning our wedding in Ireland within 5 months we had doubts we could find the perfect venue for us. Katherine loves elegant and beautiful while I'm much more casual and relaxed so we wanted somewhere which met both ideals.
We chose the hotel firstly on location between our two families ?. Being in Australia we sent our families to view the hotel for us and they were excited to say they thought we?d love it.
So luckily the date we had was available and we booked it straight away. Everything was explained simply and communication wasn't a problem either by phone or email if we needed to contact the team.
Nearly all our communication was with Irene and Una, who can I just say were fantastic to work with. We were very happy and relaxed about the choice we had made to trust these two women we had never met to organise our wedding day. We did meet them a week prior to the wedding though and they were as positive and excited as we were and made us feel very special and important. Nothing was too much trouble.
On the day itself , EVERYTHING was perfect, from the red carpet arrival, drinks reception, food the list goes on. All of our guests loved the hotel, the staff and the attention to detail. Katherine and I, we loved the simple little things they done for us the most that went above and beyond.

We celebrated our Wedding here on the 26th May last and we couldn't have made a better choice! From our very first visit to the hotel we were so impressed with how friendly and attentive the staff were and this excellent service continued throughout our planning. We visited the hotel on many occasions in the lead up to our wedding and sampled the bar menu and the food was excellent on every occasion. The hotel itself is quite modern and the rooms are clean and spacious. Many of our guests had never visited the hotel before and were very impressed with the rooms and the honeymoon suite is amazing! Our favourite room in the hotel however is the ballroom with it's stunning Cavan Crystal chandeliers. We fell in love with these from day one and couldn't imagine having our reception anywhere else! The wedding meal on the day was excellent as was breakfast the next morning. Some of our guests used the sauna and gym the next day and were very impressed with the facilities. The hotel has recently landscaped new gardens and a play area and this is an excellent addition to the hotel. We were delighted to be one of the first weddings to get pictures taken in the new gardens. Our wedding day was so relaxed and perfect and this is all down to the excellent staff in the hotel who couldn't have done enough for us!! We would like to thank Chris, Una, Bernard and a special word of thanks to Irene in particular who excelled herself on the day and looked after us and our guests so well. This hotel offers a fantastic venue, a great events team, delicious food/ drinks and lovely overnight accommodation.The events team are so approachable and helpful from day one right up to the last minute rushing the day before the wedding. Nothing was a problem and their guidance throughout our short period of wedding planning was invaluable and we cannot thank the team enough for their help and guidance. The actual day itself was fantastic, the hotel was beautifully decorated for both the ceremony and reception. The lobby area along with the bar was a great drinks reception area for all the guest to gather. The food was beautiful and plenty off it, the service was fantastic all of which was highly complimented by our guests.
The packages the hotel offers really does ease the extra pressures and stresses that come with planning a wedding. by the hotel arranging the band, dj and afternoon reception music (all of which was brilliant) leaving major items ticked off our list.

The cavan crystal did not disappoint it was amazing from start to finish.Irene and Una the wedding coordinators were spectacular they could not do enough to help you with your day they we're always on hand with advice and an abundance of knowledge. I fell in love with this venue as the ballroom is gorgeous and the staff could not be any more helpful. The food was fabulous this hotel deserves 5 stars as hey cannot do enough for you. From the very first day we booked our wedding in the Cavan Crystal hotel we knew we had made the right choice. The entire team at the hotel could not be faulted especially Irene and Una. They were always so easy to talk to and discuss things with, even when we decided to make changes to the menu, rooms etc closer to the day it was never an issue with them. On the day itself we were made to feel like royalty and we never wanted for anything, also we have a 2 year old son who they were all so good with which really meant a lot to ourselves. We have had so many compliments from our guests about the reception room which had looked amazing and we also could not have wanted anything more from the meal. The bridal suite was fabulous and we really did not want to check out on the Monday.
All in all our Wedding day was a dream come true and a lot of that was down to the wonderful team in the Cavan Crystal Hotel.

I cannot praise the cavan crystal highly enough. From when we first went to view the venue all staff were incredibly helpful and professional. Communication with the hotel during the planning processes was flawless and we were always responded to promptly. The staff really took any stress out of organising the wedding and nothing seemed like any hassle to them. The wedding day was so enjoyable for us and that was in no small part to the hotel and their wonderful staff. Everything ran on time, the room looked beautiful and the food was fabulous. I really couldn't recommend the hotel for a wedding highly enough. All of our guests loved the wedding meal and the generous supply of wine with the meal!!! The newly renovated guest bedrooms and honeymoon suite were fab and the breakfast the next morning was one of the nicest I have ever had in a hotel. I am going to a wedding in the crystal as a guest in a couple of months and can't wait to go back!!!! We will be forever grateful to Irene and her team for all their help and hard work in the lead up to the wedding.

Our wedding day was perfect, and it was all down to the amazing staff at the Cavan crystal. not just on the day but the whole year and a half that we were planning, Irene was more than happy to meet with us whenever we wanted and was happy to help in any way she could. on the day everything went smoothly we couldn't have been happier. food, staff and venue the Cavan crystal is the perfect place for an amazing wedding. if I could do it again I would do everything exactly the same

We Highly Recommend The Cavan Crystal Hotel for a Wedding. From the minute we went to view it in November 2015 to the morning after our Wedding a few weeks ago, we received Top Class Service from Management and Staff. The Ballroom is in a league of its own, Fabulous D?cor and Size to accommodate any size of a wedding. The food in the bar, restaurant and on the day of the wedding was 5 Star. Also the rooms are very modern and comfortable. Staff are friendly and could not do enough for us, especially Irene Kane, who answered any queries we had from start to finish with great professionalism. Hard to get a better venue for a wedding in the midlands area. With 270 guests at our wedding, its hard to please everyone, but there was not one complaint about the whole day from start to finish, so The Cavan Crystal Reputation speaks for itself. We got married on 17.07.17 and held our wedding reception in Cavan Crystal Hotel. From our first meeting with the wedding team we knew this was the venue for us as they were so friendly and helpful, nothing was ever a problem, Una and Irene kept in touch with us throughout and lending a helping hand if needed, they were brilliant in assisting us with the wedding planning, they both are a credit to the hotel. On the day of our wedding everything was perfect. The food, service and hospitality was excellent and our guests were very complimentary of everything. The ballroom is stunning and looked fabulous on the day. The staff went above and beyond their call of duty to add extra touches to make our day even more special. On our wedding night the staff had the bridal suite looking so pretty with candles, rose petals, gifts etc which was a nice surprise. We had the best day of our lives and are delighted we chose Cavan Crystal to celebrate our special day. We highly recommend this hotel for a wedding venue or just for a night away to relax, the staff treat you like king and queen.

This place was outstanding.
The staff were amazing. It was like they were our family. Every single one of them were just lovely. They got to know us, knew what we liked and answered all my questions (i had lots)The Food was beautiful and everyone was offered seconds.
Nothing was ever too difficult for them and they dont stop working. They are all such hard working friendly people. Irene, Una and Bernard made every single detail perfect. They kept everyone calm and relaxed throughout the day and evening to follow. Bernard even helped with a few last minute details for the speeches. Irene and Una had a few challenges to deal with on the night and their professionalism shone through. If i were to do it all again i wouldnt pick anywhere else and i couldnt have asked for nicer staff .

We had our wedding in the Cavan Crystal Hotel in July and we had a fantastic day. From the minute we walked through the doors to view the hotel we were blown away by the friendliness of the staff. We knew straightaway that this was the venue for us. The hotel is modern and spotless. The entrance area is fabulous and the ballroom is spectacular. A special mention to Irene and Una, who eased any stress we had during the planning stages. Nothing was ever a hassle and they gave us lots of helpful advice and tips. They made us feel so relaxed on the day and were very attentive. The staff are very personal and make you feel so welcomed. We knew we had nothing to worry about on the day. The whole wedding ran smoothly from start to finish. The food was out of this world and our guests are still commenting on it and the excellent service. Firstly, we would like to thank Irene and the team at the Cavan Crystal. We were put at ease every time we visited the hotel and especially on our wedding day where nothing was too much trouble.
At the start, when we began looking for a hotel for our reception we made an appointment with Irene who was able to offer her professional advice in terms of wedding suppliers and the Moposa app which offers a number of wedding ideas and allows you to create a table plan which can be sent to the hotel so you can have an idea of what the reception room will look like on the day.
We arrived a few evenings before the wedding where Irene greeted us. All accessories and requests we had left with her were completed to perfection and everything was placed exactly where we wanted it.

Myself and my new wife Amanda got married in Cavan Crystal Hotel on the 3rd of June this year. We booked the venue close to 2 years ago and Amanda said from that day until the morning after the wedding and we checked out they could not have been anymore helpful,obliging,attentive and all round pleasure to deal with. The hotel is stunning,spotless clean and the rooms are of the highest quality and all our guest agreed. On the day Irene and Una looked after us and all our guest and I must say these 2 ladies are an absolute credit to the hotel. It felt like it was 2 close friends we were dealing it. There was nothing we couldn't ask for and it was done straight away. They gave us a few tips on diff things and really put us both at ease,we just knew that it was gonna be plain sailing for the day just because of them both,so I'd just like to say to Irene and Una thank you both so so much from both of us. Now the room was decorated to the highest quality it looked stunning and me I'm not one for paying attention to that type of thing but it caught my eye!! The food was out of this world and the families were both from food is the main thing for weddings or any family get together and everyone said it was beautiful. The portion were top button busters and on top of that there was plenty of 2nds!! The staff behind the bar,the waiting staff were exceptional also. No waiting around they were on top of everything. From pouring more and more and more wine to asking if everything was ok it was just a great hassle free meal and a HUGE thank you to each and every last one them also. I'll wrap this up by saying if you have yet to pick a venue for your big day do not hesitate and go book the Cavan Crystal Hotel and ur day will be turned into a special day. Absolutely amazing hotel to deal with. The coordinaters (Irene, Una and Bernard) all so helpful. They made us feel so at ease from the word go. Nothing was ever an issue or a problem. Family friends all notes how professional and efficient the staff were..and those that were staying over said rooms were fab and breakfast delicious. I really can't recommend them enough! From the moment we first visited the wedding team at Cavan Crystal Hotel we loved it. It was the first time we were in the hotel and everything was great. We met Bernard and Irene and they could not do enough for us. Every email we sent was dealt with quickly and they continually went above and beyond to help with everything. The day of the wedding was fantastic and everything went so smoothly. The food was first class and everyone enjoyed the day. We are still getting comments about the hotel and wedding 2 months later. Every member of staff was so helpful to not just ourselves but all our guest the day of the wedding and the next day. We could not have asked for better. It's fantastic that no matter when we were in the hotel Bernard/Irene would always recognise us and come over to chat and this still happens now the wedding is over. It's so nice to know that they care so much about all their brides and grooms.

What can we say!! We had our wedding day on Friday 7th April in the Cavan Crystal Hotel and to say it was the best day of our lives is an understatement. The whole way through we had dealings with Irene, Una and Bernard there was no stone unturned. They are so thorough, professional and really support you the whole way through to ensure you have the day of your dreams. Una was there from the meal tasting, went through everything with a fine tooth comb and no request was an issue. Our guests are still talking about the food, how efficient and prompt the staff were and the lovely atmosphere in the hotel. Everything was absolutely fabulous. We have been to the Cavan Crystal Hotel many times in the run up to our day and each time the management and staff couldn't have been more helpful. We got married in Cavan Crystal in March 2017. From the moment we meet the wedding team of Irene, Una & Bernard in early 2016 they treated us as if our wedding was the only one in the hotel. They couldn't actually do enough for us and allowed us to have any of our own individuals touches to make our day unique to us. Any request we made was granted and was added to by their own experience and ideas. We can't thank them enough for the work they put into our wedding. The venue itself was lovely, from the chandeliers, to the decorations by the staff of lanterns and candles etc. On the day of our wedding everything went to plan and was meticulously planned by the team. The food and service was perfect and our guests commented how good the food was. The wedding room looked stunning on the day. We spent the whole weekend at the hotel and our guests remarked how lovely the hotel and how friendly and helpful the staff were. We were lucky to avail of the honeymoon suite for two nights and it was beautifully decorated with candles, rose petals and a lovely cavan crystal gifts. Our family and us had a brilliant weekend and are so happy we chose Cavan Crystal to celebrate our wedding.

We had our wedding here in March 2017 and I can only say that it was everything we dreamed of....The Staff, atmosphere, rooms, food was absolutely fantastic. From the minute we booked it until we walked out the door the day after our wedding, we never had to worry or even complain about anything. With plenty of hotel wedding venues near us to choose from we expected it to harder. However on our first meeting with the Cavan Crystal hotel we made our minds up that we wanted our wedding to be held there. The staff, welcoming reception and venue were just amazing. There wasn't anything I could fault. From the organising leading up to the wedding nothing was a problem and then to the day itself the service was second to none. With over 300 guests at our wedding all we have heard from them is how great the service and venue was. I cant thank them enough for everything they have done for myself and my new husband and I can only highly recommend them as a wedding venue. I cant wait to go back again to stay.

The Cavan Crystal hosted our wedding with most of our guests telling us it was the best they've ever been too! Nothing was too much trouble for the wedding team. We initially met Bernard on day one after looking at other hotels his professionalism and enthusiasm along with one look at the stunning ballroom made choosing Cavan Crystal as our wedding venue an easy decision. We had our wedding here in January past and can not recommend it enough. From the very first meeting with Bernard right through to our wedding day it was such a personal, simple, flexible and flawless experience. They offer a brilliant package which covers EVERYTHING you could want and nothing is too much hassle. The wedding team are so professional yet keep it all fun and light hearted and are always on hand to give you genuine advice and recommendations based on what sort of day you want and I have to say, they got it right every time. Our wedding was very laid back, the food was delicious, the band provided by the hotel were second to none the dance floor never emptied..what more could anyone wish for. We are so happy that we came to Cavan Crystal for our wedding, from our first visit we were made so welcome and that was something felt by all our guests on the day. So much so it was 5.30 when they finally packed their instruments away and left the residents bar. The romantic touches in the bridal suite were just the topping on the cake at the end of a lovely day. The hotel is beautiful and the first thing that caught our eye but it is the wedding team that made our day.

From the moment we walked into Cavan Crystal (without an appointment) the staff couldn't have been nicer. We initially met Bernard and nothing was a problem. We reserved our date there and then and it was the best decision we made. The whole team made everything so easy when planning for our big day, especially when living abroad. Our numerous e.mails were responded to promptly. From the first day to the big day, including our fantastic meal tasting, we could say nothing but good about the hotel. Bernard, Chris, Irene and Una were all so helpful throughout and made us feel completely at ease on the day. They looked after us so well and attended to our every need. The added extras that we didn't even think about and their attention to detail was second to none. The food on the day was exceptional which was complimented on on numerous occasions by our guests. All of the staff in the hotel were so helpful and friendly. Our wedding was at Christmas and the decorations were fabulous.

We got married in the Cavan crystal dec past. We cannot recommend the hotel highly enough. From our first contact with the wedding co-ordinaters we were given nothing but 100% at all times. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The wedding co-ordinaters constantly worked with us to make our day so personal and what we wanted in every way and worked with us around our budget.
We have had constant great comments from all our guests about the friendly staff, gorgeous food and amazing wedding room. We booked the Cavan Crystal hotel for our wedding day over the phone without visiting the hotel. We had been to a family wedding in it a couple of years before & we were so impressed with everything especially the food. When I made the call I was so relieved they had our date available. We got married the week before christmas and the hotel looked fantastic. The Christmas decorations were beautiful & there was an atmosphere that could only be described as magical. The staff were so helpful on the weeks and months before our wedding and couldn't have done enough for us on the day. The honeymoon suite was amazing & when we arrived up to the room that night we were blown away with lots of lovely surprises that the staff had organised for us. We would highly recommend this hotel to any couple getting married.

The staff are amazing from responding to my constant late night emails with different questions and requests, nothing was a bother. The wedding team really made planning a wedding an enjoyable experience. The day of our wedding ran like clockwork and all the extra bits and pieces I had asked for to be put out was done to perfection. The food was amazing and still people are talking about the baked Alaska :) We cannot thank the Cavan Crystal enough for making our wedding day so special and we look forward to coming and staying in the hotel in the future. Hi, We held our wedding reception in the Cavan Crystal in October 2016 and were delighted with the venue. From the minute we called to enquire about availability we were given great attention. Over the year of planning the team regularly touched base and were always available to discuss any queries we had.
The package we opted for included everything we could have wanted and it was great not to have to worry about little details like seating covers or table menus when those provided were such good quality.
Any special requests we made such as photo booth, kids' activity baskets and sweet table were accommodated and we were given advice on best layout etc.
All in all I would highly recommend the Cavan Crystal hotel.

From the moment we walked into the Cavan Crystal we knew we had made the right decision. 5 minutes after walking in the door Gemma wanted to book the wedding there and then. (She loves that stone work). Irene met us on that first day and gave us an extensive tour, Parents and all in tow. We were blown away. She could not have been more helpful even going as far as to upgrade us to a suite that night. We even started to call this our room as the amazing staff always seemed to have it free anytime we stayed.
The hotel itself is stunning, it has the perfect mix of old and new. The ballroom is my favourite (I'm mad about the chandeliers) and as I said Gemma loves the stone in the lobby. It was the perfect place for us, a mix of what we both love. I heard several of our guests talking about how beautiful it is and the staff keep it spotless and shining.
The staff in the Crystal have gone above and beyond for us since day one and we couldn't thank them enough, from answering my million questions (at all hours) to doing anything that they could to make the day perfect for us and easier to plan.
Moposa was a God send as all our friends know if I can't do it online I don't want to do it. Planning the wedding with the help of all the team especially Irene, Chris, Una , Bernard, Stephen and Emma was amazing I spoke to them all so much they knew my voice on the phone. Unlike most Brides me and Gemma really enjoyed the planning part but we were quite happy to leave some of it in their capable hands.
Nothing is ever too much trouble for the staff at the Crystal and that is truly shown if you have chosen(wisely) to celebrate your wedding with them. Myself and Gemma and all of our wedding party were looked after so well the day of our wedding we were blown away. It truly was the best day of our lives and that is in no small part down to the excellent care we received.
The day itself seemed to flow effortlessly from first thing in the morning all the way through to going to bed in the wee hours.
I have received nothing but amazing reviews for the wedding from all of our guests about the hotel, the staff and the atmosphere. Our guests were looked after so well I know some of them are already planning trips back to the hotel as are we. We will never be able to thank you all enough for everything you guys did for us over the 2 years planning and especially on the day and day after. We barely had to raise our heads and the staff were there to cater to every whim. The food on the day was amazing. We are still upset we couldn't eat it all because we were so nervous about the speeches.

We held our wedding at the Cavan Crystal mid September. From the moment we walked through the entrance meeting Chris the first time to showcase the hotel for our wedding two years prior I knew we had made the right choice. The internal decor sets off a relaxing tone and the bar has a great layout and size to entertain all our guests. The level of professionalism was briallnt. Nothing too big or small and they repeatedly said its our day and just relax and leave it up to us. The day ran so smooth with no hiccups or problems and they really set us at ease. Little surprises throughout the day (which I won't say) adds to things even more. Great value, great people and great service. Its not too often you see one waiter per table. Our guests commented on how beautiful the room was with the chandeliers and its easily the best function room I've been in. Fully recommend for your wedding venue!!

We held our wedding reception here in September and were delighted with how the day went. The wedding coordinators couldn't be more accommodating with our needs and enquiries in the build up to the day and left us totally assured that we could relax and enjoy the day knowing everything was being looked after. The food was excellent, with more than enough to go around and the service was first class. The wedding room itself looked amazing and everything ran seamlessly. We would definitely encourage couples looking at wedding venues to consider the Cavan Crystal, it really is great value for money for the quality of service they provide, and we look forward to returning in the future.

We got married in the Cavan Crystal Hotel on the 20th of August this year. When we were looking at Venues for our Reception we had been to a few Hotels before viewing here and none compared as we wanted to do things our own way and the Cavan Crystal was more than obliging in meeting all of our requests throughout the planning process.
Peter checked in to the Hotel the night before the Wedding as did many of our guests as the Hotel was close to the Church, another helpful tip from our wedding co-ordinator Chris; All of our guests were looked after with amazing two and three night accommodation packages.
The day in Hand went without a hitch from early morning till the wee hours of the next morning, there was always a staff member at hand to help us with anything we needed, Chris, Bernard, Irene and Una to name a few.
The food was exquisite both in the Ballroom and in the Bar as we stayed on an extra night after the wedding also so Caroline put together an area for us in the bar for our remaining guests to dine together, a lovely touch.
All of our guests couldn't have spoken more highly about their stay's in the Hotel and found all of the staff to be pleasant and attentive at all times.
We would definitely recommend The Cavan Crystal and we have already booked in for a return visit.

From the first phone call I made to the Cavan Crystal hotel I just knew this would be the place we would hold our wedding. The staff could not do enough for us and were willing to bend over backwards to ensure our wedding day was perfect. We contacted a few other hotels just to be sure but it was the high calibre of staff and service at this hotel that swayed us. We just knew from day one that they were willing to go above and beyond for us.
They worked with us all the way and were so helpful and thoughtful. We were invited for a food tasting a few weeks before our wedding. Again the staff were absolutely fantastic, we had agreed a time and had to rearrange twice as my partner plays football and fixtures kept changing. This was no problem and Irene ensured we were accommodated at a time that suited us. On the day of our food tasting Ireland were playing in the Euros and the bar was packed. Serving staff noticed that we were enjoying the match and offered to set up a table for us in the bar in order for us to continue watching the game. The food was fantastic and we had such a difficult time choosing our menu as everything was lovely. We were really struggling to decide on a dessert therefore staff invited us to return on an evening of our choice to try a few more options. We returned a few days later and were offered just about everything on the menu, restaurant staff made such a fuss of us and we were delighted with the service.
We were treated like royalty each and every time we visited or contacted the hotel, the staff were willing to put themselves out over and over again to ensure everything was perfect for us and the day of our wedding was no exception. The bridal suite is absolutely out of this world our only regret is that we didn't get to spend more time in it however the party just kept on going.
Our guests continue to comment on the outstanding service and vigilant staff who ensured that everyone's day was perfect. And even the day after our wedding, staff made such an effort with myself my new husband and all our family including the children. We were absolutely delighted that our wedding went off like a fairytale and I can only thank the staff at the Cavan Crystal for this particularly Chris, Bernard, Irene and Stephen. I only wish we could do it all over again.

Just after having our wedding last month in Cavan Crystal hotel we can't start to express how amazing the hotel staff and hospitality are throughout the planning, wedding day and the next day. We held our wedding at the Cavan Crystal. Irene and all the staff were amazing and so helpful. We just wanted a small wedding with 40 guests. Having spoken to irene we decided to have our civil ceremony followed by a meal at the hotel. The whole day was great and the hotel was so professional and made our day so special and so relaxing. All our guests enjoyed the day and the meal was just perfect. The bridal suite was so nice and very romantic. I would recommend the Cavan Crystal for a wedding. I have also been at the hotel for larger weddings and they have always been great.

Cavan Crystal was the best choice we could have made for our wedding. The staff and wedding co-ordinators were excellent, they could have not done enough for us and nothing was ever a problem for them to do for us. We had the reception of our wedding in the Cavan Crystal hotel recently and the staff made sure our day was nothing short of perfect. From the start, we were highly impressed with how organised and efficient the team were, always there at the end of the phone/e-mail to help with answers to any of our questions. This ease of communication made sure planning our wedding was stress free from the onset.
On our wedding day we cannot recommend the hotel enough for the standard of food, service and friendliness of staff. The food was excellent, from the canapés upon arrival to the lovely surprise of strawberries dipped in chocolate after our dessert (we received many compliments from our guests about the main course!!), to the buffet at the end of the night. The service was exceptional, with staff always there to attend to any need, and always with a smile.
The setting of the hotel was stunning on the day. The reception area is very spacious and bright, an area which was popular for guests to mix. The atmosphere in the bar area was relaxed, with the mood being set by the music arranged by Chris, Irene and staff. The ballroom was beautiful and all the rooms in the hotel were to the highest standard.
Finally, I must compliment the staff on their organisation of the day from the point of view of the couple/bridal party. They were very helpful in the organisation of little details on the day such as minding bridal bouquets, mother's bouquets, veil, their safe system for storage of cards and gifts collected and payment of the band on the night. The staff was so friendly, the hotel was so clean and modern, the function room was newly decorated and looked amazing on our wedding day. The chandeliers in the function room were fabulous and the rooms were very comfortable. The food was beautiful and everything went so smoothly. From the first day we visited the Cavan Crystal, we were blown away by their professionalism and the first class treatment we received. The newly renovated ballroom is stunning and was the perfect setting for our big day. Chris, Irene and Bernard were an absolute pleasure to deal with and were so helpful throughout the process. Chris Bernard and Irene what a team we could not recommend Cavan crystal enough there attention to detail was above and beyond anything that we were expecting. The food was delicious from a very high standard from a sandwiches in the bar to the five course meal. All our guests had nothing but good things to say about the hotel which was great to hear as it means there were looked after just as much as good as we were. The bridal suite was amazing a true princess room with a four poster bed and jazzi make for two. Thanks again xx

We had our wedding here over Christmas and it was amazing. I cannot praise the hotel highly enough.
The Venue:
Spacious, modern, clean, central, easy to find, recently renovated ball room, gorgeous lobbies.
On the run up to the wedding:
From the first day we walked in the door as a prospective bride and groom they were absolutely brilliant to deal with, no question or request was too big or too small. We met with them numerous times in the run up to the wedding for various bits and pieces and absolutely every interaction was professional yet personable, they took in every detail and wrote it all down which was great for peace of mind. All emails were answered within the hour usually, always by the same few people on the wedding team which was great because it meant we were only ever dealing with 2 or 3 people. We did quite a DIY wedding with our own menu cards, favours, centre pieces, hang over kits etc and their advice on the run up to the wedding about these were brilliant. They were flexible on menu choices, seating times etc, we really got to customize the day to the way we wanted it.
On the wedding day.
One word - flawless! From the moment we got into the hotel on the day of the wedding every member of staff was exceptional, honestly wouldnt get it in a 5 star hotel, and this was reflected across the board from comments from guests at the wedding, they could not believe how nice everyone in the hotel was. The crowning jewel in weddings at the Cavan Crystal is the wedding team, Irene Chris and Bernard are an excellent team, friendly and professional. We cannot praise them enough for everything they did for us on the run up to the wedding and on the day itself, absolute perfection.
I would 100% recommend the Cavan Crystal to anyone as a wedding venue, we couldnt have been happier with our choice of venue.

On the run up to the wedding:
From the first day we walked in the door as a prospective bride and groom they were absolutely brilliant to deal with, no question or request was too big or too small. We met with them numerous times in the run up to the wedding for various bits and pieces and absolutely every interaction was professional yet personable, they took in every detail and wrote it all down which was great for peace of mind. All emails were answered within the hour usually, always by the same few people on the wedding team which was great because it meant we were only ever dealing with 2 or 3 people. We did quite a DIY wedding with our own menu cards, favours, centre pieces, hang over kits etc and their advice on the run up to the wedding about these were brilliant. They were flexible on menu choices, seating times etc, we really got to customize the day to the way we wanted it.
On the wedding day.
One word - flawless! From the moment we got into the hotel on the day of the wedding every member of staff was exceptional, honestly wouldnt get it in a 5 star hotel, and this was reflected across the board from comments from guests at the wedding, they could not believe how nice everyone in the hotel was. Cavan crystal were very professional and flexible when helping us plan our wedding. All requests were responded to immediately in a friendly manner. Irene and Kris provide a very personal approach when helping you plan and always make time to sit and discuss even the minor details. The food and service on our wedding day was first class and their newly refurbished ball room provided a perfect setting for wedding photos. We would highly recommend Cavan Crystal for a relaxed and fun atmosphere on your wedding day.

On behalf of myself and my husband, I would like to thank the Cavan Crystal Hotel and in particular Irene, Chris and Bernard. Our wedding day went off without a hitch and everything was just perfect - The new Ballroom, arrival reception, banquet meal and accomodation. No task was too big or too small. They were at hand to offer advice all the way through the process from we first booked our wedding venue until 2days after when we checked out. I cannot compliment them enough and I would definitely recommend this hotel for any future bride and groom.

We had our wedding reception here last month and it was absolutely amazing! The ballroom was so beautiful and the food was perfect!! All of our guests commented on the great friendly service and the quality of the food. This hotel has such a lovely atmosphere and Irene made us feel so special nothing was too much trouble for her (when I mentioned that my son had lost his dummy she arrived a few mins later with a packet of 2 dummies she had got from the nearby shop!!) she really is amazing at her job our day went so smooth we couldn't believe it and still can't!!
The bridal suite was wonderful it was so grand we really were spoilt!!
Delighted we chose the Cavan Crystal for our reception I am 100% certain they are the best around by far could not compliment them enough they made our wedding day so perfect for us.

From the first day we booked the hotel for our wedding they were brilliant.they went above and beyond for us and all our guests commented on how good the staff were and how delicious the food was. I can't recommend this hotel highly enough and is absolutely stunning since being renovated in April. Great venue,great staff,great value.

We had such a magical day and are delighted to have chosen Cavan Crystal hotel as our wedding venue. We were blown away by how friendly, helpful and supportive the staff were from the moment we enquired about the venue right up to the moment we left.The hotel staff were very responsive in all our queries and we felt very valued throughout the process. Having to plan a wedding from a different country can be stressful enough, but Irene and Chris could not have done enough to support us and there were several late night calls in the run up to the wedding from myself!
On the day of the wedding the staff were amazing and we cannot thank them enough for the service they provided. The meal was amazing and all our guest were blown away by the function room d?cor. Our guests commented on how helpful, professional and friendly the staff were and how at ease they felt in the hotel.

We honestly couldn't have faulted a thing on the day of the wedding in terms of attention to detail service and quality of food. On the run up to the wedding again no issues Irene and Chris and the reception team accommodated us in every way and any queries or changes we wanted to make weren't a issue.

We can not thank the hotel enough. Chris the wedding coordinator is amazing. He is what sold the hotel too us in the 1st place.
We planned our wedding from abroad and from my very 1st email to Chris i felt like he was my friend and understood everything i wanted to get out of the day. All the staff were great but Chris truly is a credit to the hotel.
I would recommend the Cavan Crystal 110%.

I can't recommend the Cavan Crystal enough. The wedding planners in this hotel are amazing especially Stephen and Siobhan. Their attention to detail is superb. They will go that extra mile for you. The food on the day was excellent every guest thought so. Their fine details are so good eg extra Gravy on each table. Seconds of meat. This was all amazing. They made us both feel like royalty. And our guest too. If you want a wedding with a difference and a real touch of class well then look no further than the amazing outstanding Cavan Crystal !

From day one organising a venue for my wedding, the Cavan Crystal were great. We wanted something slightly different. Wanted family only for main meal and then all guests for afters with food. Siobhain was fantastic. Accommodated us straight away and had great suggestions. We went for family dinner and sit down buffet for afters. They really catered for our budget. Chris and siobhain were very helpful with questions and queries right up to our wedding day. On our big day all staff were lovely and couldn't do enough for us. The main meal was lovely and all guests enjoyed their sit down buffet. We had a brilliant day and couldn't fault a thing with Cavan Crystal

Without a doubt from the minute we began discussions with the wedding team in the Cavan Crystal Hotel we were in awe of their professionalism coupled with such a friendly nature. Most notably Christopher - must be commended for everything he did for us. I feel as though I literally left everything in his, Irene & Unas capable hands. I remember leaving a box of 'goodies' with no instructions as what to do with them and they were set up exactly as we wanted. I was a bride with no nerves at all as I can honestly say I left my day in the best hands possible! (Thanks again Chris!).
The food was fantastic, so good in fact, that I had people calling to me following our honeymoon (over a month after our wedding day), thanking me and highlighting how delicious the food was. A real testament to everyone involved in the wedding field in the Cavan Crystal Hotel.
We cannot thank everyone enough and would without a doubt recommend potential bridal couples to consider this wonderful hotel for their own wedding day.

From start to finish it was the most professional service possible and with such a personal touch. For us it was important that our guests were catered for in a special way and the Cavan Crystal certainly delivered on that. A magnificent and truly perfect setting for your Wedding!! We had our wedding at the Cavan Crystal Hotel on the 8th of July 2011 and I must say it exceeded all our expectations! From the very first day we visited Cavan Crystal and met with Chris, one of the Wedding Planners we were very impressed. All the staff are so helpful from all the Wedding planners, Chris, Yvonne, Irene, Una and the General Manager Siobhan, to the bar and restaurant staff. Our Wedding day was truly spectacular! From the minute we arrived at Cavan Crystal Hotel we were greeted by the staff on the red carpet with a lovely glass of champagne and canape's. The reception was so well organised and the meal was simply superb! The service was brilliant! All our guests even commented on the delicious food and service and were very impressed. We were absolutely delighted and really enjoyed our day from start to finish. I cannot recommend Cavan Crystal Hotel enough to everyone.

We got married in June and had our Wedding Reception in Cavan Crystal Hotel. The attention to detail was second to none! The Staff were brilliant in the run up to our day - nothing was ever a problem. On the day itself, the Staff excelled! They catered our every need. We were made to feel so Special - all of the staff addressed both ourselves and our bridesmaids/groomsmen/parents personally - they knew all our names! The food was exceptional - there is no other word - in both presentation and taste! And was piping hot! Our guests are still talking about it!! We had a perfect day! We are so so delighted that we happened on this "gem" of a hotel on the outskirts of Cavan town!! It is an absolute must see!

Having previously attended events and stayed overnight at the Cavan Crystal Hotel, it quickly became clear that this was the perfect choice for us. The added bonus of the leisure centre and on-site hairdresser made it even more convenient.
From our very first meeting with Jennifer, and later attending one of the hotel’s wedding fairs, we knew we were in expert hands. The facilities are stunning—the ceremony room was beautifully decorated and provided the perfect setting for our vows. We held our drinks reception in the Main Atrium, which is bright, airy, and loved by all our guests. It was also where we cut our “Wedding Cheeses Cake,” served with crackers—a big hit with everyone!
Even though it rained on and off, the hotel’s many elegant spaces meant we could take beautiful indoor photos, with just enough dry moments to capture a few outdoor shots as well.
The ballroom is opulent without being over the top, and all of the décor was provided by the hotel—we only added our own personalised table names. Everything ran flawlessly thanks to the amazing wedding team and the hardworking staff behind the scenes. From helping the bride in the morning, to arranging a separate room for the groom to get ready, to seamlessly coordinating the ceremony and dinner, everything was handled with genuine care and precision.
The food was exceptional—somehow even better than the already impressive meal tasting experience. Service was fast, professional, and attentive, with glasses never left empty. The room was swiftly transformed for dancing as "Magic Moments" took to the stage and had us all dancing in no time. The energy only grew when local duo "Mickey & Duxy" stepped in, keeping spirits high and feet moving until the small hours.
We received so many compliments from guests about how relaxed, fun, and beautifully organised the day was. Everyone praised the food, staff, and venue—and we couldn’t agree more.
A huge thank you to the entire Cavan Crystal team for helping us have the most incredible day of our lives.
