Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort

I cannot recommend Druids Glen, Nessa and the staff there enough. Nessa was amazing to work with and the lead up to our wedding went as smoothly as possible thanks to her. Her wealth of knowledge and experience made us feel so at ease and she answered all of our questions very quickly. Druids Glen itself has amazing photo opportunities for all kinds of weather, and we had great fun taking the golf cart out on the grounds. The food was amazing and the guests are still talking about the dinner and service they received. Compliments to the chef and their team for being so accommodating of dietary requirements and coming up with such amazing alternatives. Guests were well taken care of from start to finish and it made everything so much more relaxed. I would definitely recommend Druids Glen for your wedding, it is such a special place.

Thank you to everyone in Druids Glen for making our wedding day so special, it was beyond what we dreamt of. Nessa's assured and helpful presence before the wedding and on the day made sure everything went smoothly and all the staff were top-notch. It really made the day! Everything was great from the food to the multiple photo opportunities on the amazing grounds. We have so many wonderful memories of the venue, it will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Booked Druids Glen for our wedding in August and couldn?t have been happier with our choice! Nessa was wonderful to work with and did everything in her power to make our day as magical as possible. Nessa and the entire staff looked after my new husband and I exceptionally well. Nessa was a wonderful support to us in planning our wedding day and ensured that the day ran smoothly for us and our 140 guests! We had the most perfect day and would highly recommend Druid?s Glen to any couple looking for a Wicklow wedding venue! They have a number of options available to couples who want to tie the knot in the hotel (including the magnificent outdoor woodland space which we fell in love with immediately! The food and drink was exquisite and a number of our guests raved about the steak served on the day. Thank you all so much for looking after us we can?t wait to visit again!

The staff in Druids Glen were absolutely amazing. Nessa (wedding coordinator) was fantastic. There was nothing she couldn?t organise. Nothing was to much. Ivan was brilliant with wedding menu/wine. I had nothing to think about only to enjoy the day. Every request was met and exceeded.

We got married in July 2019. We cant recommend this hotel and staff enough especially our wedding planner Nessa. The staff really go above and beyond for you. We stayed the whole weekend and from start to finish they treated us beyond words can describe just amazing. The grounds are beautiful for photos. Our guest are still talking about the venue, food and the hotel itself as it really is just perfect. Anybody would be very lucky to get married here.

This hotel blew us away as soon as we visited when wedding hotel shopping. The decor and ambience as you walked through the doors was hugely better than any other hotel we had made an appointment with beforehand. When we met Nessa, the wedding coordinator , I knew straight away she would be perfect for helping us to create our special day. Nessa was efficient and always on top of what we had to do next. She was fantastic at organising all details and everything ran absolutely flawlessly on the actual wedding day. We were met with a glass of champagne straight away and I felt completely safe leaving our guests in the capable hands of the wedding team as we had photographs done out on the adjoining golf course. The bridal suite is just unbelievable and the wedding meal was gorgeous! I could not recommend this hotel any more!! We had a BBQ the next day also and that went down a massive treat with our guests also!! Attention to detail and professionalism is on point!!

We would like to thank Nessa and the team at Druids Glen for all the help and support they gave us on both the run up to our wedding day and the day itself. They went above and beyond. We had a perfect day and would definitely recommend Druids Glen to future bridal couples.

I don't even know where to begin with a review of Druids Glen for our wedding.
It was the most amazing day ever and we can never thank Nessa or her team enough.
We had our ceremony there in a beautiful room as well as our reception there.
The day flowed without a hitch and was perfectly coordinated by the team there. I never once felt stressed or worried, everything was taken care of leaving my husband and I to just enjoy our day and make the most amazing memories.
The food was to die for, our reception room was beautifully decorated and the little extras of the ice cream bike and the wishing well are touches that we and our guests loved.
Unfortunately because of the weather we were unable to take pictures out in the stunning grounds there, but Druids Glen is such a beautiful resort that it really wasn't an issue.
All in all, our day was amazing, the staff were all fantastic from door staff to reception to waiting staff at our meal, and we really couldn't have asked for more.
It was perfect.

Nessa and staff were a breath of fresh air on our big day, they looked after everything perfectly and couldn't do enough for our guests.

Had our wedding here August 19th and it was great.Nessa Kearney is the wedding coordinator and she is just brilliant an absolute lady to deal with,nothing is a problem for her,very efficient in everything she does.We looked at other hotels and just found it was Nessa that brought us back with how well she treated us.

Fantastic atmosphere, friendly and highly professional staff not to mention an exquisite venue with amazing grounds and views.
Our day went anything but according to plan when our daughter took ill and was hospitalised but we can honestly say that thanks to the amazing people at Druids Glen an unforgettable experience was had by all. They removed all of the stress and went above and beyond to Accomodate as we went along.
Would highly recommend this venue.

I couldnt recommend Druids Glen enough...they have been fantastic before the wedding with all the support and help they provided...during the wedding they all were absolutely amazing...we had to worry about Nothing. ... All went to plan with the help of the wedding coordinator Nessa and her super amazing team... and even after the wedding they still stay brilliant....and every wedding anniversary we had we still went/go back to Druids Glen...their food and service is just unbeatable and unbelievable

Love Love Love this hotel! Planned our wedding from Australia and couldn't have done it without the help of the lovely staff at the Druids Glen Hotel. Everything was easy and there was no stress. Very helpfully every step of the way. Had an amazing day and would highly recommend to others searching for a wedding venue.

Druids Glen is an excellent wedding venue and we couldn't have asked for more. Everything was perfect on the day and exactly what we wanted and organised with Neasa. Their attention to detail is second to none and all of staff worked as a team to give us a day to remember.

Words fail to do justice to the service provided by the entire staff of Druids glen on our wedding day last August. However if I am to tell the full story it wasn't a surprise. From pretty much the moment we walked through the doors on our first visit we were sold on the location.
We had travelled down just to have a look around with no appointment, once we mentioned we were looking for a wedding venue the duty manager Duncan McAlpin dropped everything and sat down with us in the bar for over an hour and went through everything with us. We had viewed a number of venues at that point and not one had come close to the attention we received from Druids Glen at that point.
We had our minds almost made up leaving that day and any doubts evaporated within minutes of meeting Nessa Kearney the wedding co-ordinator a couple of weeks later. So thoroughly professional but incredibly personable with it, a nicer person would be hard to meet, her attention to detail, her willingness to meet any request we had where possible and her knowledge made it easy to put our trust in her to plan the day and know nothing would go wrong.
She was available instantly if needed in the lead up to the wedding and any question or query was answered. Which brings us to the day itself. The hotel looked amazing, the staff were sensational, Nessa had the room set up exactly the way we wanted it. The food was of the highest quality, the service was exemplary, and the attention afforded us made us feel like royalty. The bar staff earned their money but never seemed like it was a chore, even when the residents bar went on and on!!
Druids Glen is responsible for all the little touches and one that sticks with me is the next day all the staff knew us by name going for breakfast (which is worth traveling for alone). We had the option of a barbecue the next day and again the food exceeded expectations even if the weather didn't.
We have been delighted to receive many compliments from our guests saying how enjoyable our wedding was but we both know that a huge amount of the praise is due to the venue itself which is stunning and the staff from top to bottom who I couldn't speak highly enough of.
To sum up I'd suggest to anyone thinking about booking a wedding, look no further than Druids Glen primarily because their wedding co-ordinator Nessa Kearney will put all your ideas into action and ensure the day will be everything you hope it will be.

Our wedding experience was magical. I say experience because we didn't just "fall under the spell" on the day of the wedding but from the very moment we stepped foot into this dream venue. When we booked our special day we were blessed with the most amazing wedding coordinator who took on board all of our ideas and helped us to realise them. When I walked through the reception on the wedding open day in February 2011, I instantly knew this is where I wanted to have my wedding reception, however being a five star resort I wasn't sure if it was within our budget. We continued on and briefly met this warm, friendly lady in the wedding reception room who said she would speak to us after we viewed the function room. I knew instantly that it would break my heart if we couldn't have our reception here. The room was everything I was looking for, the venue was everything I wanted. We met with Nessa, your fairy godmother ????who was just so nice, explained everything to a fine detail about what was included in the package, I had a tear in my eye and she knew this. On walking out of Druids glen that day I made a decision no matter what we were having our wedding reception there. Nessa had sold it to me.
Best decision I ever made, (besides saying yes to my husband ???? ) from the time we met Nessa for a second time until 28th September 2012 Nessa and the team at Druids glen were superb, they go above and beyond to make you feel special, as it should be.
The service was superb, staff were so friendly, food on the day was perfect. Room was perfect, like a fairy tale. All my guests thoroughly enjoyed their stay and constantly remark on the reception . We had a spectacular wedding at Druids Glen, value for money, you get so much more.
If any couple are considering their wedding at Druids glen, my response would be just book it, you won't be let down.

We have been back to Druids glen numerous times and will continue to be my hotel of choice, I will recommend to anyone.

We got married on the 31st of August 2012 and had our reception in Druids Glen. When I say they couldn't have done enough for us or been any more professional I mean it. We had the most amazing day. Nessa and her team are amazing. She was with me every step of the way and I couldn't fault the hotel on anything. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Greetings from Phuket!! Just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you so very very much for
everything. Our wedding was everything we had hoped for and more and we couldn't have been treated
any better from the Friday to the Monday when we left. From the very first day dealing with you Nessa
we were in love with Druids. You are such a lovely person and even though we absolutely loved the place
if you weren't the person you are our decision would not have been made as quickly as it was. Druids
was the first place we looked and we didn't even want to look anywhere else but feeling we really should
we looked at a couple of places and were only dying to find fault to bring us back to where we really
wanted to be.
Not only have you been amazing to us Nessa, accommodating us at every turn and always making us feel
like ours was the only wedding you had on, the staff at Druids were brilliant too. Everyone at the
wedding was saying it the next day and not only that for those of us who stayed the whole weekend we
were made feel as important as the new weddlnq in the following day. You can't pay for that kind of
kindness.
Also on the last day as we went to check our we realised a vey important bank draft was missing to pay
the rest of our bill and Edel on reception, who was so nice to us, reassured us that we could come back
and pay another time and that she didn't want us worrying on honeymoon (we were going straight to the
airport). We got it sorted there before we left but we were touched by how nice she was and what a
great place Druids is that they would do that for a customer.
Anyway as I say we're away and I will drop you a mail when I get back, and we will call down to you, but
we just didn't want to have two wait weeks to say thanks so so much. You are amazing at your job Nessa
and we will be back to Druids time and again.
All our thanks to all staff, including your CEO who twice came over and asked us if everything was ok.

I could not let the weekend go without sending a mega thank you to yourself and all the staff at Druid?s Glen. Rachel?s wedding day was a wonderful experience for all of us and I have to say that from the first moment we arrived there, at least a year previously we were made so welcome by yourself and I knew then that my daughters wedding was going to be in very capable hands indeed. From the moment we arrived last Saturday all our guests were made feel so welcome and in fact throughout the weekend they remarked many times on the entire staff at Druid?s Glen. The front of house people at reception, the waiting staff, the staff cleaning the rooms etc, it was a fantastic experience all the way. We also had a lovely meal on Sunday evening so many thanks to Pawel and his staff who again looked after all our guests well. I sincerely hope and they have said that they will definitely re visit for maybe a less hectic weekend. Finally to yourself Nessa, you are indeed ?wonderwoman? and thank you from the bottom of my heart for such a fabulous day. I know that Rachel and Alan will be in touch with you separately.

The Hotel is not only superb for its setting with beautiful views, and exquisite interior, its best feature is actually the staff who could not do enough for us for the whole weekend, not just the wedding night.

The Res Bar overlooks the Golf Course and the hotel structure itself is the best well-kept hotel I have ever been in with an amazing bridal suite. But it has to be the personal touch from the staff that seperates it from other hotels I've stayed in. Staff cant do enough for you. Apart from one issue over the deserts being slow to arrive after the main course due to crossed wires over when speches were, Cant recommend this hotel enough for a wedding.

We wanted to convey to you how happy we were to have our wedding in Druids Glen on April 14th 2012. As I had mentioned to you at one of our get togethers I was worried about some aspects of the wedding plans in general (as every girl does), but one thing I was never worried about was the reception in Druid's Glen

Both yourself and all the staff with were so professional and helpful .... but the magic ingredient for us was that there was a genuine warmth and desire from everyone to pull out all the stops to make the day perfect?and perfect it was!

Special thanks to you personally Nessa for just being your warm, interested self and for also the useful nuggets of information and general advice you gave us along the way.

It?s the one day of your life that you want to be perfect, once you get the ring its initially about the dress, the diet for the dress, but once you start to look at venues things can become complicated. However, in saying that, we had no doubt in our minds that Druids Glen Hotel was the venue for us, from the setting of the hotel and the amazing grounds, to the classy elegant interior, our initial thoughts were Wow!.

Then we were introduced to Nessa, the wedding co-ordinator who instantly became our new best friend. Her genuine friendly nature put us both at ease, she listened to our queries, answered any questions we had, was so helpful that we literally knew we had one less thing to worry about.

Each step of the way in organising the reception, Nessa was always there for our every need. Words cannot describe the attention to detail that Nessa and her team put into your wedding, nothing is impossible and nothing describes the feeling when my husband and I walked into our reception on our wedding day to have our sneak preview, it still makes me smile with a lump in my throat!

Your wedding day is your special precious day, you put so much effort in it yourselves and the Druids Glen Hotel and staff mirror this effort, if you make one decision for your wedding day let it be that you pick this hotel as the food, atmosphere and staff are magical.

We got married in Druids Glen on the 18th of June 2010! All I can say is magical experience from start to finish! If I could rate it 10 stars I would ! Nessa wedding co-ordinator just brilliant, so efficient nothing was a problem to her & so so nice with it.

Food AMAZING & that's coming from a family of real foodies!, staff just brilliant. Room beautiful, all twinkly & magical looking again all down to Nessa expertise. I wouldnt change a thing about the day & am so glad we chose Druids Glen. Would highly recommend it. Wedding Suite AMAZING too !!.
