We got married in the Imperial on the 11.11.22. Mark, our wedding coordinator was fantastic, as was every other person working there who went above and beyond for us, helping to make the day so special. I stayed there the night before and received complimentary Prosecco and local chocolates as well as a hand written note from the venue. We had our ceremony and reception at the Imperial. We liked that it is very central and was easy for our guests to get to. We had a smaller wedding of 36 guests which the Imperial were happy to cater for. I still got the big beautiful ballroom banquet wedding on our smaller numbers. The Imperial has some beautiful spaces for wedding photos which I loved too. We would definitely recommend the Imperial!

From our first contact, right up to our Wedding Day the imperial Hotel was such a pleasure to deal with. Every individual whether it was our wonderful wedding planner Benedicte, Barry who looked after us throughout our wedding day or anyone else we met along the way, every request was met with a smiling face and an ease that made our day so much more relaxing. I would highly recommend the imperial hotel in creating a magical wedding day.

Lynda & Jim from the Imperial Hotel went above and beyond in creating a fun/romantic wedding for my husband and I.
We couldn't have asked for a better venue but most importantly better and friendlier staff.
They were all amazing and worked with us through the Covid-19 pandemic to still create a wonderful atmosphere.

From the moment we met the team at the wedding showcase all our questions were answered. The service and attention we received throughout our planning and on the day itself was superb. We had a big input into our day and Linda gave us some great practical advice that we wouldn't have thought of ourselves. All the day's events were run entirely by the team. We could sit back and enjoy the day and the wonderful food with our nearest and dearest. Everyone was so lovely and friendly and we really felt we had been looked after,and that our family and friends had been too. We only wish we could do it all again.

We had an absolutely fabulous wedding at the Imperial. I could not fault anything. Organising the day with Lynda was very straightforward and she was incredibly flexible. The drinks reception was really lovely, and single member of staff was so friendly, professional , and helpful. The food was absolutely amazing - lots of guests commented on that specifically. Overall it was really good value too! I would not hesitate in recommending the Imperial for your wedding.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish with the Imperial. Nothing was too big a request and the value for money was second to none. Food was incredible, and attention to detail was pure perfection! I couldn?t recommend more.

?We got married in The Imperial Hotel on Dec 27th 2019 and definitely had the best day of our lives. From the first day we met Lynda, the wedding co-ordinator, she made us feel so excited. We were always reminded by her kindness and charm during all of our meetings that we?d definitely made the right choice too.
On the day of our wedding she definitely didn?t let us down either. The food was excellent, so many of our guests commented on its quality. The venue was perfect with such a lovely flow from the entrance hall, bringing us into Souths Bar before finally sitting for dinner in the ballroom. James and his staff took over then with the same enthusiasm and professionalism we had received from Lynda. He was brilliant too, ensuring everything was so perfect for us. We wouldn?t have changed a thing.
The Imperial Hotel staff were second to none and left no stone unturned. From Christy in the foyer (a total gent) to the ever available concierge (I didn?t get his name), to Lynda, James and their teams we cannot thank you enough. You made our day so special and we wouldn?t have changed a thing. Our time in The Imperial was fantastic and it is a place we will only have the fondest of memories of.
We will definitely be back down to visit and would highly recommend it as a wedding venue for anyone who maybe interested. However, only consider it if you?re looking for something that?s going to beyond your expectations. The hotel and staff here don?t seem to settle for anything less.

We had our wedding reception at the Imperial in August 2013. Lorna and the team were never anything less than excellent, from the first planning meeting to the biggest night of our lives.
Both being from the Real Capital, we wanted a pure Cork wedding and being in the centre of the city the location was perfect.
The food on the day was delicious and really well presented. We had a tasting evening a few weeks before the date, when we tried out many of the dishes we'd shortlisted for the meal.
On the day, we felt like all the staff were concentrated on our guests and ourselves and this made everything feel so special.
We asked for a bigger dance floor to be installed in the ballroom, as we were having a c?il?, and it was sorted right away. Any questions we had along the way were dealt with professionally and very helpfully.
Our accommodation was just beautiful and we were also treated by the hotel to a night's stay the following year on our anniversary, with dinner and breakfast included, and we were really excited to avail of this as we knew everything would be as lovely as it had been on the wedding day itself.

We chose the Imperial Hotel & Spa because they had everything (and more on the day) then we had hoped to find. We loved the city centre location which was important to us. I loved working with Lorna their wedding/event coordinator. She had lots of advice and tips and loved hearing all the details us brides pour over! The ballroom was the perfect size for our 'small' 90 person wedding. The room had a gorgeous warm glow with its elegant presentation, creating a wonderfully intimate evening in which no one felt excluded. They set up the tables perfectly with the few bits I had brought in the day before to help create the vintage feel we were going for. The dinner service and presentation was second to none!! The meal was outstanding and we loved the extra mile the chef did to make a specific beautiful vegetarian meal that was very well received by all. When it came time for the music, the transition was flawless. Our guests enjoyed the perfect party atmosphere and if it was too loud the use of the second room for the evening food and tea was a great benefit to our older guests. If I had to do it all over again I would choose the Imperial without a second thought!
