We live in the UK but fell in love with the Radisson Blu in Sligo due to the amazing Denise and her gorgeous team. We managed to arrange it all within 8 months and honestly had no stressful moments, apart from the table plan…but that was totally our issue!! Denise I cannot recommend enough, her professionalism and care is second to none. She was there to answer any questions and helped with so much more, we are so grateful to have her as our wedding planner. The wedding day went without a hitch due to Denise and her team, they are unbelievable and are always a step ahead. The team made our day so unforgettably perfect…Denise from the bottom of our hearts, we honestly cannot thank you and your team enough. We will definitely be back to celebrate our anniversary.

We recently got married in the Radisson Blu Sligo and could not have asked for better service. From the first day we walked into the Radisson to inquire we felt we were in good hands. Everyone is so organised and extremely good at their jobs. We have to mention Denise, Olive & Ula in particular, who all looked after us incredibly well in the lead up to the wedding and on the day itself. We were really put at ease and were comfortable that everything was being looked after. The food was absolutely outstanding and the most common comment we got back from guests was how much they enjoyed the food. We were both treated like VIPs for the day and the staff at the Radisson really made everything special.

Denise and Olive are both so professional and organised. They went above and beyond to make our wedding day so special.

We had our wedding in the Radisson blu sligo. Denise and her team were amazing throughout, including the planning before and the wedding day. Nothing was to muxh to ask.Everything went smoothly, staff were warm and friendly, food was great and overall we had a fantastic wedding.

We had our wedding reception in The Radisson in July this year, and it was the best decision we ever made. From the first day we met Denise, the hotels wedding coordinator, everything was perfect! They were so efficient and organised, and had answers for any questions we had before we even asked them. The hotel has every detail you could want for your wedding reception including beautiful table decor and extras like a sweet cart. This made everything so smooth for us as we didn’t have to source extra vendors to decorate the room and the hotels decor was perfect.
On the wedding day from the moment we arrived at the hotel, Denise and her team, in particular Aisling, couldn’t do enough for us. They were like the bridesmaids I hadn’t asked for, absolutely brilliant and constantly checking in with us to make sure we were happy with how everything was going, and even paying attention to more personal details such as fixing our hair and looking after my veil. The food was also fantastic, our guests are still commenting on how fantastic the hotels staff and food were.
We had the best wedding day ever and would love to do it all over again!

We got married in the Radisson Sligo in June and from day 1 it was just perfect. For someone who works in the wedding industry, you are that extra picky with everything. The minute we walked through the doors of the Radisson in February 2022 we just knew that we found our wedding venue, then we met with Denise and she was just the icing to our decision. She took us through everything that the hotel had to offer, we were just blown away. Literally all we had to provide for our day was flowers for our register table, sweets & crisps, everything and I mean EVERYTHING was provided by the hotel completely free of charge – we were just over the moon. We checked into the hotel the night before our wedding and it was the best ever. We relaxed in the bar the night before as we met with Denise that afternoon and dropped off all our items and she now relax and enjoy every moment as she and her team have everything looked after – and that is exactly what we done. The entire day went so flawlessly. Our guests were full of nothing but compliments for the whole team. They made everyone feel so welcomed and had everything running like clockwork. We even had compliments on efficiently and professionally the meal was served and how organised the teams were in change overs from dinner to evening. Denise is second to none as a co-ordinator. She is fantastic at what she does and she does it all with such professionalism. Denise’s experience in wedding planning is evident in how her thought process in the organising of our wedding was ahead of mine and she helped me think of things i hadn't. It is obvious that she loves her job and she is fantastic at it. She dealt with my last-minute table changes and never made an issue of it, in fact re-assured us it wasn't an issue. I 100% believe it was the day it was because of Denise and her team; they have made us memories to cherish forever and we are forever grateful.

Denise and the team are amazing!! We organised our wedding from Nz and nothing was an issue they couldnt do enough to help out! They really brought our vision to life & The food and service on the day was perfect everything we hoped for & more!

An absolutely fantastic venue for a wedding. The local views are unmatched and the hotel's staff is one of the nicest and most accommodating I've ever encountered. We chose the venue without having ever been there and it exceeded the hype. Denise Meenaghan deserves a world of credit for helping plan our wedding despite us being 3,000 miles away and everything on the day turned out absolutely perfect. She worked with us in advance to make sure we had every little thing we wanted and the little touches throughout were the icing on the cake. All of our guests loved their rooms and also took advantage of the nice pool while they were visiting. I couldn't recommend a place more and we can't wait to go back again! A 10 out of 10 experience.

We had our wedding on May '24 and we had an absolutely brilliant day, all made possible by the dedication and enthusiasm of the Radisson staff, and of course the amazing Denise. The food at the Radisson is what really makes the venue stand out and the friendly staff who can't do enough for you.

The Radisson, and Denise specifically, put us at ease through the whole wedding organisation experience with her responsiveness and professionalism. We were organising our wedding from the UK, so it was great to have a venue that was so adept at organising an amazing reception. On the day, everything went well, the food was delicious and everyone had a great time. The venue was very considerate about making sure we, the bride & groom, were able to squeeze in moments of rest where possible, too.

The whole team at the Radisson made our day and the day after just perfection. Nothing we asked was too much and their quick responses to every question, no matter how small, made planning so easy. Everything we were promised was followed through on and more. We could not recommend Densie and the Team enough.

I cannot praise Denise/Olive and all the Radisson staff in Sligo enough. From the very beginning their organisation skills left us at ease and they did not disappoint. The day could not have ran any smoother, everything was perfect. The drinks reception and dinner were amazing (our guests wouldn't stop raving about the food-the feather-blade beef deserves its own mention). The bar staff and waiters were all very efficient and accomodating. The decorations in the Radisson also meant the ballroom looked stunning without any work from us which was a major bonus. It genuinely was the best day, we are delighted we picked the Radisson for our wedding.

From the moment we met Denise, we knew the Radisson Blu, Sligo was our venue. She made the whole planning process as flawless as possible. Any query we had she always had an answer. About a week out from the wedding we met Olive. Again, we knew we had nothing to worry about. When we arrived at the venue on the day of the wedding Denise, Olive and Aisling were on site. They whisked us through the crowd and into the ballroom. Here, they gave us sandwiches, tea/coffee and a drink. Aisling got the wipes and took to cleaning the bottom of my wedding dress, the storm had taken its toll. The tidied up my hair, got us ready for a few pictures and set us on our way to mingle with the guests. The meal was incredible. People are still talking about the quality of the food and service. We have heard equal reviews about the finger food later that evening. We could not recommend the Radisson enough. Everyone was lovely to deal with and nothing was a problem. We had a great day.

We just want to send you all a massive thank you to Denise and Olive for their help and support throughout not only our wedding day but our whole experience from the minute we booked with the Radisson Blu.

The Perfect Wedding Venue, The perfect Wedding Co-coordinator in Denise and the Perfect Event manager in Olive!! I will never be able to find the proper words to describe the gratitude we both feel for all involved in creating for us the most wonderful day we will never forget. We arranged a viewing with Denise about 18 months out not intending on making a decision for another few weeks as time was on our side, however having viewed the venue and talking to Denise we knew before leaving that day this was where we would be getting married and a date was set there and then. Thereafter to say the whole wedding process was a breeze would be an understatement. Denise put absolutely everything on a plate for us. The band, the flowers, the ceremony was also held here, the photographer and so so much more that was advised by her couldn't have made our day more special. On the day itself everything ran like clockwork. The section of the room the ceremony was in was absolutely stunning under the guidance of Olive & Ula. The feedback we received from our guests after was magical. The dinner again was absolutely amazing and could not be faulted in any way, with a special mention to the service, I have never seen such an incredibly well trained servers. Olives guidance throughout the day kept us both calm which allowed us to enjoy our day. Honestly I could go on and on about how perfect our experience was but I could be here all day. I couldn't recommend them enough. They really are the best.

From the moment we had our first meeting with Denise we knew the Radisson was going to be amazing. Denise the was so organised and amazing with communication she made the planning process so easy and gave us so many tips.
The wedding package we went it was perfect and all of the vendors were excellent and so professional if I was to do it all over again I would have them all again.
On the day Denise, Olive and Ula couldn’t have done more for us and the day went like clockwork. The food was so tasty and all the staff were so friendly… the service during dinner was outstanding. We had our wedding in the Radisson Blu in Sligo last February. We cannot recommend Denise and her team enough! From our very first visit to a wedding open day, we felt so welcome and relaxed. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and we felt so well looked after during each visit. Denise was on hand for any questions we had and is very prompt in her responses. On the day, Olive and Aisling were fantastic! Olive was on hand for even the smallest of requests, and Aisling was superb, especially in helping us to entertain our youngest daughter during photograph time! Our wedding meal was absolutely delicious, and our guests are still raving about it! We had our wedding in the Radisson Blu in Sligo in February 2024.
From start to finish our wedding co-ordinator Denise made the process absolutely seamless. Denise guided and supported us through the whole process and was always so responsive to any questions we had. Denise is fabulous to work with, so dedicated and so organise.
The Radisson absolutely blew us away on the day of our wedding, from the decor, to the service to the food - everything was flawless. Our guests are still talking about what a wonderful time they had at our wedding in the Radisson Blu in Sligo and how wonderful the service and staff were too. The staff were just so attentive on day, including working in all the tiny details including whisking myself and my husband away for a quiet moment and a cuppa and some food before we went out to greet our reception guests.
The setting is also so beautiful at the Radisson Blu in Sligo and our photographer got some beautiful shots of us with Benbulben in the background on the day.

Denise & the team were just fantastic in the lead up to our wedding & on the day itself. Everyone commented how relaxed we were, which was in a big part down to how well looked after we felt! From our initial booking with Denise to the day we left the hotel after three wonderful nights there we could not fault a thing. Denise knows her stuff and will always point you in the right direction, she has dealt with numerous suppliers down through her years at the Radisson and is only too willing to help and recommend the best to you. We were very fortunate to have a big gathering over the three nights lots of people travelled from afar and all had the same great feedback, the staff, the service, the food and just everything overall was amazing no stone was left unturned. Each staff member knows the role they play in your wedding day and they definitely make sure no detail is missed. We had our special day on 26th October. It was amazing from start to finish. We first met with Denise in November 2022 and she made everything so easy for us. Denise & Olive were incredible. In the lead up to the big day Denise took over everything and made it all so easy. Olive took over on the day and the service was next to none. I was so nervous handing over control but I realise now I had no need to be. They thought of everything and pulled out all the stops. The hotel itself was spotless and so luxurious. The bridal sweet was impeccable. I only wish I could relive the day over and over again.

It was our very first venue we went to see, and by the time we left we had our date booked! We just fell in love and knew this was our venue. Our wedding co-ordinator Denise was absolutely fantastic and helped us so much with everything, from picking the perfect package for us, promptly replying to our messages, putting us at ease and having answers to questions that we didnt even know at the time we needed!
Denise, Olive & all the brilliant staff at The Radisson were absolutely amazing and helped make our day so special and beautiful. We had our ceremony and reception here and the thought, effort and planning that went into making our morning/afternoon/night run so smoothly was second to none!
The service, the food and the way our guests were looked after was absolutely amazing. We even had some guests with food allergies that told us personally it was one of the best experiences they have had while dining out! With plenty of alternitive options for them to choose from and staff making sure they were well informed and looked after that they could enjoy their meal without worrying. (And that it was absolutely delicious)

Myself and my husband got married in the Radisson Hotel Sligo on 28th July 2023. From start to finish it was the most spectacular day. Denise was our wedding co-ordinator from the day we booked the wedding and she is the main reason for us picking the hotel as she was just so wonderful from that very first meeting. When she showed us around the room it was, simply put, magical. She was on hand at all times for any queries we had, we never had to wait long for a reply. She made everything so stress free. The food was to die for, and everyone said as much, we added on garlic potatoes and I'm so glad we did, they were amazing & every table commented on them!! The staff on the day were incredible, no ask was too much. I dont drink wine and asked to have gin instead for myself and again that was no problem. The decor in the room was stunning, we had the black chair covers and everyone commented on the elegance of them. On the day we had Olive & Aisling who were amazing to deal with, I had only met them a few days prior to the wedding and they just put us at ease. Aisling god love her even started combing my wind swept hair for me! You just have to view the hotel and the set up and meet Denise to know that this will definitely be the venue for you. Thank you so much to everyone at the Radisson for giving us the best day of our lives. I would highly recommend to anyone who asks!

We had such an amazing day, actually few days in the Radisson blu Sligo. The food was delicious and the decor was magical. Although the weather didn't play ball we got some beautiful photos inside and around the grounds of the hotel.

We stayed the night before the wedding in the hotel and Denise organised a room for our makeup and hair. It was lovely and relaxed and this set the tone for the day.

During the meal the team were all amazing, Olive and Ash were fab on the day. So organised and helpful. And just so down to earth. Easy to chat to and made us feel so special on the day.

The service supplied by the Radisson Hotel and all the staff was fantastic.
We were hooked on the venue from our first meeting with Denise. They provided everything needed for the day in their package, which really helped a lot. Denise even provided us with invaluable advice throughout the process and was very responsive to any queries we had.

Well i cant put into words how fab the radisson was. . From the minute we spoke with denise we new that was our wedding venue. The room the decor was fabilous .The best hotel ever staff management and food was excellent . We were so well looked after and denise was amazing to deal with . There are not enough of words to describe how amazing Denise, Olive, Aisling and their Wedding team in the Radisson Hotel in Sligo are!! But to say we had the most amazing wedding is an understatement and that was because the brilliant Radisson team!

From the moment we met Denise in June 2022, she was such a dream to work with. We never once felt anxious regarding the reception as we knew she had all organised. Denise is so talented at her job and has exceptional communicational skills.

We were completely blown away when we arrived at the hotel on the day of the Wedding. The ball room was just beautiful and everything we imagined!

All the guests commented on how amazing the hotel was, from the food to the service. Everyone said how friendly and accommodating the staff were and said it was one of the best weddings they have been to.

We got married on the 16th June 2023 and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect hotel for our wedding reception. From the first day we visited, Denise was so professional and made us feel right at home there. We had such a brilliant experience from start to finish and we could not recommend the Radisson enough. The food and service was amazing and got huge compliments from all our guests. On the day, everything went like clockwork and Denise, Aisling and Olive could not have done more for us. The decor in the ballroom was so magical. It's a stunning venue and we were absolutely blessed with amazing weather. Our guests enjoyed chilling outside on the decking before dinner. All our guests raved about the venue, the excellent food and brilliant service and said it was such a class day from start to finish.
The hotel put together cheese boards, crisps and treats for our residence bar which went down such a treat after a full night on the floor with our amazing band, Bowtie.
We stayed and celebrated our night 2 at the hotel with our family and friends and once again the food was excellent. The whole weekend was so lovely and chilled and staying the extra night gave us all the chance to reminisce and prolong our weekend that little bit more.

We had our perfect day on St Patrick's Day 2023. We had the best experience, it really was a dream come true! From the moment we contacted Denise we knew we were in good hands, she really is the best at what she does and she gave us some great recommendations regarding our other suppliers too. Always an email away Denise was so responsive I was never left waiting for replies. As she had promised, once we got to the Radisson, we could just switch off and relax which we did. Everything was taken care of and a special thank you to Aisling who was by our side in case we needed anything. We were blown away when we seen the room, it looked fantastic. The food was absolutely incredible and everyone was raving about the 17-hour slow cooked feather blade of beef, how the table service was impeccable and how generous the portions were. The fact that our guests were so delighted with everything made it all worthwhile. Thanks again for everything to Denise and all the team at the Radisson, Sligo.

The Radisson Blu Sligo was our perfect wedding venue. Denise made everything so easy from start to finish. Everything we asked for and so much more were possible with The Radisson, they did everything for us, we did not have to add anything extra to the ballroom, it is so beautifully decorated at no extra cost. In terms of cost in general, we could not find anywhere else that came close to matching The Radisson in terms of value for money. I really cannot fault this venue, it is nothing short of excellent and we could not recommend it highly enough.

Denise and the team at the Radisson were absolutely outstanding. Nothing was a problem on the lead up to the day and the day itself went absolutely amazing. Everything ran so smoothly. everyone keeps coming back to us saying absolutely amazing day, the staff, the food, the decor just everything. Everyone was well catered for during the wedding and the morning after for breakfast. Will be recommending them to everyone planning a wedding. The whole experience was completely stress free.

We had our big day on February 24th 2023. We got engaged in December 2020, and began planning during lockdown in January 2021. From the beginning, Denise couldn't do enough for us. She gave us a virtual tour, at a time that suited us both as we both work full time. Everything was seem-less, and the communication with Denise from start to finish was second to none. As for on the day, the venue itself was stunning, but the staff and Denise could not have been more attentive to us both, and honestly made the whole day magical. The decor was all sorted for us, we didn't have to lift a finger and the decor exceeded our expectations. All in all, we would hugely recommend the Radisson Blu Sligo for a wedding venue!

We held our wedding reception on the 3/2/2023 and we wouldnt have gone anywhere else. Food, service, professionalism and value for money. It was one part of the day we had very little to do. All the little extras the hotel provides, sweet cart and jars, post box, wedding decor really took pressure of us to focus on other aspects of the wedding. The food is exceptional and we knew we were in safe hands from being guests at weddings there before. Denise was amazing, however also want to give a special mention to Ola also, she was very good and helpful to us also

We got married in the Raddison in Sligo on 27.01.23, myself and my bridesmaids stayed in hotel the night before the wedding Denise was so professional and all staff were so helpful anything we asked was done done for us. Denise really made the wedding so easy for us she did everything for us was like having a wedding planner she was so professional.all staff at raddison made us feel so welcome from minutes we checked in night before the wedding nothing was too much trouble for them. The Raddison Blu, sligo was the perfect venue for us for our weddin. Denise the wedding coordinator is fantastic at her job making the process so easy and stress free. The staff at the hotel were also amazing the service was on point and they were all very friendly, helpful and accommodating making the day run soo smoothly, As it was a Christmas wedding the hotel itself is decorated fabulously with a magnificent Christmas tree at the reception, which all the guests loved and got lots of fab pictures. It really added to the Christmas vibe. Lovely modern hotel and the food was superb. We had nothing but compliments from all our guest and most even wanting to go back for weekend away. They were also so patient, allowing us to take a bit more time before dinner to get photos taken around the hotel as we were unable to do so outside as originally planned.

And that we did. The venue, staff and service were amazing, and the food was incredible. All the suppliers which were recommended to us, from the band HiFi, music was marvelous the floor was never empty, The Cake Lady, the wedding cake was delicious, every crumb eaten and the Secret Serenaders were fantastic set the whole tone for the night, our guests are still talking about it. We booked our day in 2018 - Chatting to Denise during a viewing, she instantly gave both myself and my husband a sense of calmness and reassurance the Radisson would deliver only the best. And it did just that. Denise was so responsive, flexible, helpful and supportive all the way through the planning, nothing seemed challenging, she was just so professional. Then she introduced me to Olive and Aisling on the day of our wedding, who are just equally as amazing at their job as Denise, they are just made for what they do. They were so kind and supportive to us, and a great guide to their team.

Couldn't have asked for better service from the Radisson Blu Hotel, Sligo, from the moment we had booked our wedding with them they made us feel at ease that everything would be took care off, especially Denise she was excellent at her job and made us feel ease straight away. We even had to push our wedding date out due to COVID, and they made this so easy for us to do. We were so happy to finally get our day and what a day it was, everything went to plan and was so well organised in the hotel. Aisling was brilliant on the day she made sure everyone was where they should be, and was so helpful. Would highly recommend the Radisson for anyone thinking of booking there wedding here. I can't recommend the Radisson enough. Denise the wedding coordinator is fantastic to deal with. She planned and organized everything and no requests were a problem. Planning a wedding during covid and from Wales was not the easiest, however once raddison was our chosen venue everything was smooth sailing since.

Denise the wedding coordinator was extremely helpful, she was quick at responding to any queries, accommodating for any visits when we were able to get over to ireland or zoom calls. Gave us plenty of time to get the information she needed and was always friendly and welcoming when had face to face meetings. Even if we were difficult difficult constantly swapping rooms. Nothing was a problem to her and was very understanding.

Bride: on the morning Ula looked after myself and the bridal party catering to our every need... from proseco, breakfast, extra chairs, aircon etc. She was there with whatever help we needed and made sure we were all happy and everything was stress free.

For the whole day we had Olive & Aisling over seeing the running of the day and there was nothing out of place, they were both checking in with us everything was in place and we were ok for everything. They were so lovely, accommodating, helpful and a joy to have around us on our special day. They made everything feel at ease and stress free on the day. We were in such good hands all day and can't thank them enough.

Overall the venue was incredible, amazing decor, set up, all staff were so welcoming from reception staff to bar staff.
Everyone really enjoyed themselves and spoke highly of the venue itself and said they had an amazing meal and the food was delicious- compliments to the chef.

We met with Denise for a viewing back in 2020! We didn't look any further We booked there and then!! Denise was so lovely to work with, she made us feel so relaxed and at ease. They even assisted in assisting me remove my veil at diner time and leaving it and a beverage to our room for us for when we were heading up for a freshen up! Nothing was a problem. We planned our wedding from abroad but Denise, the hotel wedding co-ordinator, really took a lot of the stress out of the wedding planning and was so professional to deal with. We originally viewed the Radisson in September 2019 and finally had our wedding in May of this year. From our first time to view the hotel, through the dreaded COVID related rescheduling process, and right up to the day of our wedding nothing was too much for Denise and her team. We felt at such ease knowing we were in safe hands and we never felt any question or request was too much. Many people will have heard horror stories about how couples were treated by various hotels around the country when rescheduling their wedding, but the team in the Radisson were nothing short of amazing. From understanding and compassion, to flexibility, there was never an ounce of pressure. When our day finally arrived all we had to do was enjoy it as Olive and her team had everything under control! The day ran like clockwork, the food was fantastic and the staff were superb. If we had our day all over again it would still be the Radisson for us!

We had the best experience, honestly it was just a dream come true! The fact that our guests were so happy with everything made it all worthwhile. Once I got to the Radisson, it's like I could just switch off and relax. Everything was taken care of my only complaint was that I couldn't press pause on it! Everything was amazing. The room looked fantastic and everything that we talked about and planned was executed to a T and I want to thank Denise the wedding co ordinator for that she was an absolute pleasure and nothing was ever a problem. Always an email away and was so responsive i was never left waiting for replys. The day ran so seamlessly and I'd like to specially mention Olive and Aisling especially for that. To the chef, the food was absolutely incredible to this day everyone is still talking about the fillet of beef and how amazing it was. The food overall was just incredible it made the day. . We got married on 30th April 2022. And we couldn't reccomend the hotel and staff enough. It rained all day but to be honest it never affected us at all. We had around 160 guests and we are still receiving compliments on how good the food was and how lovely the staff were from guests. Denise, Aisling and Olive were amazing to deal with. Even the day after Olive was helping me hand out more cake to guests. We would love to do it all over again.

From the moment we met Denise to view the Radisson as our wedding venue we were so impressed by her professionalism and attention to detail. Even when we had to postpone our wedding from 2021 to 2022, Denise was so easy to speak to, discuss everything with and so accommodating. We started planning our wedding in January 2021 when we realised due to covid we weren't going to get to travel abroad to get married as soon as we would like. We started looking at hotels around the country and the Radisson in Sligo was one of them. We had a zoom call with their wedding co-ordinator Denise because the country was on lockdown and we couldn't go see the hotel as we are based in the midlands. Denise went through everything with us and showed us pictures of the venue and different packages. We knew that the Radisson Hotel Sligo was the venue for us and we booked it without even seeing the hotel in person for our Winter wedding from just talking to Denise on zoom we knew our wedding was in good hands Denise has loads of experience gave us some great advice and wedding tips. Denise helped us so much as we weren't from the area she recommended suppliers we could use on the day. Planning a wedding during covid is not easy but anytime there was changes to regulations Denise would let us know straight away and any queries we had Denise was always quick to get back to us. We finally got to meet Denise in person and see the hotel in July. We got to see the reception and ceremony room and how it would look laid out with the restrictions that were in place at the time. We knew we had made the right decision the hotel is fabulous and the scenery around it is beautiful. Denise organised our menu tasting and took any feedback we had on board in relation to our choices. Finally it was our wedding day and we both got ready in the hotel with the bridal party having a room for hair and make up the morning of. Our ceremony room was decorated beautifully as was the drinks reception room and our reception room. All the guests commented on how well the hotel looked and what a beautiful venue it was. We couldn't fault anything the whole weekend. The staff were so helpful and nice. Olive took great care of us during the reception and our meal was beautiful. We would highly recommend the Radisson Sligo to anyone thinking of having their big day there Denise and the team will make sure you and your guests are well looked after. Denise and her team were fantastic! We've been at many a wedding at the Radisson in Sligo and it never disappointed hence the reason why we chose this as our venue for our big day.

The Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa Sligo does not just provide an amazing wedding venue but rather it creates a lifetime magical experience like no other. If you want to be transported into the fairytale of your dreams this is the place for you!

Our choice of venue was heavily influenced by my brother and sister in law's experience. They were married in the Radisson in Sligo, and it was one of the best weddings we have been to. Denise had looked after them and they had nothing but positive things to say. Our experience was similar through considerably more testing times. We pushed our first date back due to Covid and went ahead with our second date even though there were still some restrictions in place. Denise couldn't have been more accommodating or reassuring throughout the whole process. When it came time for our wedding we felt thoroughly spoiled, as did our guests. We floated through the day as Aisling and her team took care of everyone. Our reception room (and the whole hotel) was beautifully decorated and we received so many compliments afterwards about the food. There was still a curfew in place due to Covid but the timings between everything were seamless and there was absolutely no waiting around as it felt like all the staff were working to ensure we got the most out of the day. We cannot recommend the hotel and all its staff enough.

The wedding team at the Radisson couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating for our big day, Denise was an absolute pleasure to deal with- keeping us up to date throughout (wedding during covid restrictions). We got married in October 21 during a very strange time, with the restrictions constantly changing. We found Denise, our wedding coordinator so thorough and helpful in keeping us updated in the build up to our wedding, always prompt to answer any queries we had. I cannot recommend or praise the Radisson in Sligo enough. We had the misfortune of planning a covid wedding and actually had 5 different wedding dates as we kept pushing it out in the hope that restrictions would ease and we would finally get our day.
Denise was super supportive, extremely helpful, flexible and so professional. She would reply to me within hours, she would assure me that they would accommodate us and what I found so comforting was that she was always there at the end of the phone or email to assure me we would eventually get our day and that she would do everything and anything to ensure it was PERFECT.

And that it was. From beginning to end- the staff, the venue, the food, the service - 10/10.
We couldn't have asked for more and I am so thrilled that we decided to travel from our church in Galway to the Radisson in Sligo because it was worth every minute of the journey.

We finally had our day on the 25th October having postponed our day once before. The Radisson, Sligo were amazing and very supportive through our stressful journey. We had to postpone our wedding from June due to covid and Denise was amazing at keeping us informed in ever-changing times. 7 weeks before our planned new date in October we decided to pull our date forward by a month and all the Radisson staff were so obliging and helpful in our last minute change. From our first meeting with the hotel, to our meal tasting, to our wedding day, nothing was too much for the hotel. Our wedding was on the 14 March 2020, on the 12th March the government announced the restrictions of weddings and no more than one hundred people etc. The hotel supported us so much and were as upset as us. They done everything in their power to make sure we had an amazing day. The food was absolutely delicious, so much of everything and top quality. Our wedding day was perfect & only for the radisson we wouldn't of had a day.

From the moment we met Denise in the Radisson, we knew this was where we wanted to hold our wedding reception, so much so, we planned the date of our wedding around their availability. In the months leading up to the wedding, we met different staff members, (too many to mention) who exuded a subtle confidence which assured us we had made the right choice.
The attention to detail in the set up of the ball room was particularly evident ensuring a pleasant experience for all present. We chose to position our top table on the main floor among family and friends which allowed us to participate in the craic and banter. Our guests, to this day, are still raving about the food and the homely feel where some guests had specific requirements catered for without any hassle. It was a sizeable crowd and we would like to commend the chef Joe and his team for delivering top quality cuisine on the day.
We express our sincere gratitude to Denise, Martina and the rest of the team for ensuring each stage of the reception ran so smoothly. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, they were watching out for us ensuring we were always at ease and ensuring we got respite from the madness of it all when required. I would recommend this venue for any wedding. We had our wedding here in December and they could not have done enough for us. All our guests have commented on how beautiful the hotel was and the food was outstanding. A number of our guests have already booked to stay here again.

We honestly cannot recommend the Radisson Blu Sligo highly enough. EVERYTHING from start to finish was absolutely perfect for us. No task was too much for the staff, their motto is ?yes we can? and they most certainly abide by that. The whole team are amazing & their packages are unrivalled. What they include in their packages are way ahead of any other venue we looked at. The staff and the ballroom as far as we?re concerned are way ahead of any other venue. We've been to weddings in castles etc & the decorated ballroom in the Radisson is more stunning than some of those castles. Anyone getting married would be foolish if they did not visit the Radisson and have a chat with Denise. Weddings are stressful but the Radisson was the one part of the whole planning process that did not worry me because from the first meeting it was clear that the team had you covered & they most certainly did.

to start,what an amazing journey, we had organising our wedding in the Radisson Blu Sligo. from the moment we arrived for the open day,i walked into the room and it just took my breath away.the decor, all the tables were set up,the fairy light backdrop. it was wow.... the chef was there cooking, he had all the tables set up with the full menu cooked and on display. you could see how it would,all look on the day. it looked amazing.joe took time to speak to us and explain the menu,and cooked food for us to taste. it was so lovely and relaxed, joe also proceeded, to say its our day and they would cater the menu suit us and to our day.
I didn't think it could get any better, then we met Denise, my god this lady is good.I explained my needs,i wanted to get married this year, with all my family and friends, but i wanted oct mid term this year.Well i tell you Denise moved, the earth,moon and stars and i got sunday 27th oct.I cried with joy and happiness. so on the deposit was paid.
Now that's only the start of all the amazing things to come,I wanted to book the band DeJe Groove, Denise contacted the band straight away, band were available, so Denise booked for us.the communication was amazing, got updates on dates for me to view room set ups as we were having a civil ceremony in hotel.
Arrived on a friday in july to view room set up, for civil ceremony, met 2 lovely ladies that are responsible for all room set ups, Catherine and Urzula, could not have made me feel more special if they tried. I left the place hopping and skipping on cloud 9.
I had my menu tasting, the chef was Keith, wow what a talented man, the food was glorious. Keith came and spoke to us after and to see if he could change anything, was everything ok. i loved everything, but i asked if he could put his own twist on the menu. he sure did and every single person at our wedding, raved about how fabulous the food was and never enjoyed a meal as much, in there lives.
I needed help with a few, parts of our wedding, we were let down very badly by a store we had ordered suits off, they completely forgot about us.so i rang Denise explained what happened to us, so straight away, she made a call, we had an appointment organised that week, i got all my boys suited and booted, thanks to Denise. next problem, was i had no photographer, 2 weeks to my wedding, Denise again pulled a rabbit out of the hat, sorted out contact with the most amazing lady Francess Muldoon. who captured every amazing moment of our day.
I asked would it be possible, for bottled water for my family rooms for night of wedding, i asked for hot chocolate for my nieces and fanta orange for my nephews,at the drinks reception not a bother, all done just like that. connecting bedrooms for my family with children, all was organised before the wedding.
The day of our wedding, everything from start to finish. It was just so magical, the set up of the civil ceremony, oh words can't do it justice, breathtaking.
The drinks reception, the staff were amazing, kept everyone, well refreshed, while we were gone for photos.
Our reception, the room was just amazing, the tables were decorated so beautifully, my wedding favours and personal bits, were placed so perfectly. the food and service, by Pawol and his team was just 10 out of 10. FABULOUS.

What can I say, our wedding day was the most relaxed, enjoyable and perfect day ever. The hotel and staff were absolutely amazing, everything was perfect and staff honestly couldn't of been more friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was gorgeous & we got so many comments on the food being so nice! People still talk about the food 7 weeks on! The decor of the hotel is the last word and we honestly couldn't of picked a better place to spend our special day!

Everyone at the Radisson Blu Sligo were most helpful and thoughtful. Nothing was a problem. I always felt comfortable contacting them no matter what the query. The day itself ran smoothly thanks to the expert staff who had everything under control - even when the All Ireland Final decided to feature! We had endless compliments about the hotel, atmosphere, staff and food. We would recommend Denise and her team any day.

We were so lucky to get to have our wedding recently at the beautiful Radisson Hotel and Spa in Rosses Point. It is such a beautiful setting with Benbulben on one side and Rosses Point on the other. From the minute I met Denise (as Christopher got held up at work) I knew this was the place for us. She had the whole thing laid out exactly what was to offer and for how much. No hidden costs and everything was included in their packages including the beautiful decor which just blew us and our guests away. They did everything, asked all the right questions so as we forgot nothing and made sure all areas were covered. You would think Denise was our personal wedding planner and not that she had another 50 weddings to be planning. On that first day when I viewed and seen and loved the place even though he arrived an hour later from work she went through the whole tour again with us so as he got to see everything and ask any questions he had which was so accommodating. They could not of done more for us on the lead up to the big day and all the hotel staff were just so welcoming, accommodating and friendly we just had a ball. We stayed from the Thursday until Sunday of our wedding so we really had full opportunity to avail of all the facilities. We were all so sad leaving the Sunday we had made it our home for our wedding. Finally, the food how could I leave this until last it was just amazing. Everyone was speaking about it the week after full of flavour and portions bug enough to please my father which is saying something. As the bride I always thought I wouldn't eat much at the top table due to nerves, the dress etc but I ended up having the beef and the salmon!!! It was so tasty you could not fault it. We cannot thank them all enough for giving us a weekend we will never forget. We are back in December a friend's wedding and we cannot wait to experience it all again but as guests...Roll on!!

We had our wedding in the Radisson on August 24th 2019. From start to finish, the Radisson were amazing. We never had to worry about any single detail as everything was looked after by Denise , Pavel and the team. They could not have done any more for us on the day, and we would highly recommend the Radisson to anyone planning their wedding.

We had the most amazing experience while planning our wedding with the Radisson Blu, Sligo. Denise and the team were absolutely outstanding in providing the most easy-going and enjoyable experience. Nothing was too much. We as a couple had been to the wedding fayres and open days and although we were impressed, the day itself was far beyond our expectations. When deciding on a package Denise gave us different options, we could remove something and add another. This allowed us to have everything we wanted as far as our budget would allow. So many guests have regularly commented since on the quality of food, the outstanding and timely service, the way the room itself was decorated and all the little extras that the Radisson had to offer eg. An outdoor icecream van. The food was truly amazing and everyone was offered seconds. Some even commented that they had a third helping. People were certainly happy and full by the end of the meal. At one point throughout the evening I lost my flowers and at another my bag went missing... my own fault of course... however the team always had everything under control and were able to find both for me. The day is such a worldwind and I'm a bit scatty anyway. It was lovely to know that there were reliable people looking after us. All our cards and presents were safely looked after and everything was given back to us the following morning in perfect condition. The team were amazing when it came to communication and always responded to emails promptly. Nothing was too much. We booked surprise singing waiters for after the meal. Denise contacted the head chef Joe and he teamed up with the private company to make the surprise an authentic one. Martina looked after the bridal party on the day and she was so pleasant and friendly. We were treated like royalty and didn't have to ask for a thing on the day. Overall I couldn't recommend the Radisson Blu, Sligo highly enough. We had the most magical day with the most care free build up. Thank you so much for all the help and guidance. We could not have asked for anything more.

From our first contact with Denise to the build up of the wedding nothing was ever too much to ask for and Denise was always on hand to provide further information and make our ideas turn into reality. Denise has to be the best wedding coordinator always replying to my emails in the fastest time and answering all my silly queries. On the day of the wedding Aisling took me into the ballroom and removed all makeup stains from my dress in an instant, an absolute lady. Martina was on hand to deal with the dinner and was incredible from start to finish. Everything about the meal was just perfect and all of our families and friends have been complimenting the service and food on the day. Joe the head chef even took the time out and came out to myself and Niall after the meal to check everything was ok. The Radisson exceeded all expectations of myself and Niall and just couldn't do enough for us, making us feel so special and we?re both so glad we chose this amazing venue for our wedding. From the minute we went to view the Radison in Rosses point we were so impressed, they had just completed a full refurb of the ballroom and it was just magnificant. Denise could not do enough for us and nothing was too big of an issue! On the day Pawal and Martina were so attentive as were all the staff. Our guests are still talking about the food! We had 2 days in the hotel and the second day was no different! the food, service, atmosphere, decor everything is just second to none! Would recommend this hotel to everyone considering getting married! 5 Star!

Excellent service throughout from the moment we first met Denise. Everything was made as hassle free as possible and everything we required was taken care of, no questions asked. On the day Pawel and Martina were excellent. They ensured that everything ran perfectly. The Radisson Blu, Sligo is an absolutely fabulous venue. It's in a great location with stunning views. Leading up to our wedding day, Denise Meenaghan the wedding coordinator was brilliant, efficient, down to earth and very helpful. On the day of our wedding the hotel staff were outstanding, from the manager who welcomed us at the door, all the way through to the residents bar staff that night! The ballroom looked fabulous and so many of our guests remarked at the delicious food. We were really well looked after and the waiting staff were very attentive & friendly. I highly recommend this hotel as a wedding venue.

We had our Wedding in the Radisson on Saturday the 6th of April this year. Since the day we made our booking with Denise, I cannot compliment her enough. She was so helpful throughout, and offered us a lot of advice & guidance for our big day. There was no issue with room reservations & our guests even commented on how efficient check in was on the day. The service and the food on the day was exceptional, we were so impressed with the way everything was handled. The chef was so easy to deal with, and he even came out to the top table after the meal to ensure we were happy with everything. The staff were so friendly and could not do enough for us. We dropped all our baskets for the bathrooms the night before along with the sweets for the sweet cart, and everything was set up on the day and we didn't have to worry about anything. Denise took contact details for our Photo Booth etc. And she dealt with them directly, which was another thing we didn't have to worry about on the day. Couldn't recommend this hotel enough for its professionalism and personal touches to accommodated each couple and their requests.

Food, service and venue were fabulous and 2 months on we still have people commenting on the Radisson. They have weddings down to a fine art, it's no surprise they are so popular.

The Radisson Hotel Sligo played host to our wedding on the 1st of March 2019. From the very start of our preparations the hotel and staff did not disappoint, with Denise on hand to answer any and all queries promptly. The vast majority of our families checked in the night before, and enjoyed a lively atmosphere in the bar, coupled with friendly and efficent staff.

The day of the wedding we were blown away by the high standard of service and food, and attention to every little detail. From the arrival reception, to the meal, to the residents bar, absolutely evergthing was flawless and very well managed at each stage. Martina and Aisling went the extra mile, even helping my wife get footprints off her dress before dinner.

The meal was absolutely top class, with many of our friends and family still commenting on the standard of food.

The following day and night we stayed in the hotel bar, where lively music and food was provided by the hotel. We had originally planned to go to town afterwards, but nobody wanted to leave the comfort of the hotel, so pleasant was the surroundings.

Excellent service from start to finish. Wedding co-ordinator was professional, efficient and responded very quickly to any queries or questions we had. On the day the wedding team at the hotel were super efficient. Value for money was excellent as there were so many extras included in the package price.

We cannot recommend the Radisson enough. Denise and the team were fantastic from the minute we arrived at the hotel.
Denise on the lead up to the wedding was fantastic, always there at the end of the phone to answer and help with 100's questions. The ceremony room and function room were decorated beautifully and just want we wanted. All of our guests remarked on how excellent the food was. Pavel and Martina on the day were just brilliant. We had the best day at our wedding in the Radisson Hotel in Sligo. Denise the wedding coordinator was fantastic from start to finish. She's amazing. Everything was perfect on the day. The food was gorgeous, room looked fabulous, service and staff just brilliant.

We had such an amazing wedding day on 29th Dec and we just wanted to say a massive thank you to each and every staff member at Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa Sligo who made our day so special. The venue looked superb, the food/drink was great, everyone loved the slow cooked beef especially!! Head Chef Joe Shannons food is amazing. We couldnt have asked for a better wedding coordinator than Denise Meeneghan. She was so approachable, friendly and helpful. All the staff were excellent and we just want to say thanks a million. They looked after us so well and absolutely nothing was a problem!!! We are happy to recommend the Radisson Blu Sligo to any newly engaged couples as you know you are in good hands. As Impressive as the Radisson Hotel Sligo is, what made our wedding a success was the professionalism and welcome of Denise, Joe, Martina, Seamus & all of their team were. There really is not enough positive things to say about the Radisson in terms of Venue and the entire team behind it all. We did not come across a single staff member who was not fantastic. The venue itself is flawless and is without question the Wedding Venue of choice in Sligo and the Northwest in our opinion. Yes, a Wedding in a castle can be beautiful but at the end of the day its the food, the music and the craic that everyone will remember for years to come! We had high expectations of what we wanted from the Radisson in terms of the quality and presentation of food on the day and Joe and his Team absolutely nailed it! The Radisson is a big operation with thousands of food covers a week and how they deliver the consistent quality is impressive and highly commendable, especially to the large number of covers at a Wedding. Denise is a true professional and a lady to deal with from start to finished. Anyone considering the Radisson in Sligo as their Wedding Venue should not hesitate. 5 Star.

I would sincerely like to thank the Radisson Hotel and staff for hosting our big day on 7th Dec 2018. A huge thank you to Denise our wedding co-ordinator at the Raddison Hotel who made sure our day was so special. Everything was taking care of. We got married in the beautiful Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa Sligo in November 2018!! We had such a brilliant, magical day and enjoyed every minute of it! While we had a whole range of fantastic suppliers, it was ultimately all down to the fabulous wedding coordinator in the Radisson: Denise, we couldn't have done it without you! No question was too silly, you helped us 110% all of the way from the first moment we met with you. Thank you so much for all the fantastic recommendations, your experience and expertise is second to none and made our lives so much easier! Also a huge thanks to Pawel, Martina & Aisling ? the whole day ran absolutely smoothly, everything was just perfect from the beautifully decorated ceremony room and ballroom, the smooth and efficient service, the mouthwatering meal, thanks for looking after every little detail of the day. We couldn't have asked for a better team :) So many of our wedding guests have commented that it was the best wedding they had ever attended!! What more can you say :)

We had our wedding there in november 2018! I could not recommend this hotel and its staff and service enough. From the day at the wedding fair and the set up there to meeting with Denise the wedding co ordinator, we definitely were Choosing this venue! Denise was so helpful nothing was a problem. She made life for us so easy. Denise was always on her emails and if u dropped her a email she was so quick to the responses to questions we had. Denise put us at ease for our wedding day and we knew she was on the ball! Martina also was brilliant . Everything ran so smoothly on the day and the food was brill. The venue was spectacular! From the first day we met with Denise we knew this was the venue for us. She was extremely helpful and made our planning very easy. The venue was so beautiful on the day of the wedding. The ballroom was breathtakingly beautiful, decorated in the hotels own accessories. The team including Martina, Pabol and Denise were outstanding on the day and kept us very relaxed.
The 5 course meal was outstanding and the service amazing. The chef even made his way out to check if we enjoyed or food and to wish us all the best in the future. We had the most amazing day and are so glad we booked the Radisson as our venue.

We had our wedding on the 2nd November this year and did it all in the Radisson hotel and from start to finish it didn't disappoint... Denise was absolutely brilliant to work with even though she's prob up to her neck everyday of the week she's always at the end of an email if you need to ask questions and she always replies straight away... Martina then who organises the reception part has it down to a tee which makes everything run so smoothly.. then Catherine who was in charge of the waiters and getting the food out onto the tables was brillaint... The food is absolutely amazing, we have been too 3 other weddings in the Radisson before our own wedding and cannot complement the food enough, Joe shannon the head chef is brilliant even came out to say hello to us!!! We had our wedding on the 27th October in the Radisson Sligo. We had a brilliant day from start to finish. We can't thank the Radisson team enough who did so much for us on the day. The food was fantastic for such a large group everyone was served without delay and so many of our guests complemented us on the food after. Denise and her team are so professional and efficient at their job and any queries were responded too without delay which is a huge plus when trying to arrange a wedding. We had a good few guests stay in the hotel for the weekend and everyone really enjoyed it, staff were friendly, food was great and location was perfect.

The Radisson blu rosses point was just excellent. All our guests are still talking about the wedding. The food room's everything was just fantastic.

We had the most amazing wedding day at the Radisson, from the moment we went for our first meeting with Denise, we were just put at ease, nothing was ever too much. We changed the layout of our drinks reception and the team were just so helpful in getting it looking the way we wanted, they were so accommodating at helping our dream come to a reality. From our breakfast on the morning of the wedding, Denise just kept checking on us and ensured we had everything we needed which was very calming. We changed the starters to something unconventional and again Joe sourced the most delicious food for us, our guests are still talking about it nearly a year on. Our speeches went on a bit longer than expected but our main course was still as hot and tender when being served, another thing that's still being said to us!
Overall, it was honestly the best day. Storm Callum was fairly windy on the day and the team at the Radisson did everything in their power to hold open doors and even hid behind us to hold down red carpets for our pics! We meet at a wedding here back in Nov 2015, so we wanted to have our reception here. We meet Denise Sept 17 she went through everything with us & we booked the date 6/oct/18 that day with her. The ballroom was going through refurbishment Jan 18 so we were so lucky to have a lovely new ballroom. The day of the wedding everything was perfect from drinks reception, the setup of the ballroom room they really went over & above for us it looked amazing. The professionalism of the staff serving the meal was first class. Honestly booking your wedding in the Raddison Sligo you have nothing to worry about when it comes to the day. A year on my relations are still talking about the meal. They just couldn't do enough for ya. Denise, Martina, Aisling, & head chef Keith know their jobs amazing people.
They also could accommodate my relations who travelled from all over the world from 6-80 was our age group & they were all under one roof for sleeping compared to hotels that you have apartments on site or have to travel to b & b's it was great.

Denise went out of her way on every occasion so assist with whatever I asked from her and even on the day before the wedding when I was having a meltdown about table plans, she totally took control of the situation for me and sorted everything!
Everything was absolutely flawless on the day and all my guests are still talking about how great the food and service was!
Wish we could do it all over again, and I wouldnt change a thing!!
P.s. I totally recommend hiring the tree centre-pieces from the hotel! They really set off the room on the day!

Attended the reception of the wedding of Marie & Dermott in The Radisson Blu Hotel and Spa Sligo July just gone. It was a fantastic day/evening and night from start to finish. The drinks reception was exceptional...the home made cookies which were continually refilled are to die for. The cocktails on offer and beers were excellent and to top it off the home made lemonade was gorgeous....right down my street as I wasn't drinking. The atmosphere, decoration and staff presence and friendliness from the minute you walked in was superb. The function room was decorated so nicely and there was plenty of space. The food was top notch I would not have one complaint and the service for a wedding as large was top class...110% the whole evening and night went so well. I could not fault anything about the hotel on this day and would absolutely recommend it and consider it if I was to get married.

From start to finish the service provided by the entire team at the Radisson Blu Sligo was second to none. From the first moment when I requested a brochure at the hotel to the day itself and the day after, the hotel went out of their way to make our experience a great one. Denise was amazing and answered any questions so quickly. We are still getting compliments about the food; everything was perfect. The room itself was better than I could have imagined. We cannot thank the radison enough or speak highly enough of the fantastic service we received here for our wedding. We looked at a few venues but the way in which we were received on meeting Denise the wedding co odinator was second to none so our decision to have our wedding here was easy. You want reassurance that your day is going to be taken care of by the hotel and this was not only offered but delivered ten fold on the lead up to the big day and on the day itself.

One thing we noticed was how everyone works very much as a team there and the staff as a whole conduct themselves in such a way that you feel truly valued as a customer/client.

So many of the staff were involved in the lead up to the day. Even if it was a minor role they played it meant a lot to us.

We would be nervous to mention people and names in fear of leaving people out as on a whole the staff were amazing and so good to us but we do feel we want to give credit were it is due. So here goes....

Denise our wedding coordinator: she was so professional , organised and yet had such a lovely way about her that you felt you could approach her about anything. she always put us at ease , kept us right especially on the lead up to the day and never got impatient with us even when it took us most of the day to organise a table plan. The hospitality she offers too is second to none. We received complimentary lunches and cups of tea and coffee on different occasions. She kept in Touch with us the whole time giving us the reassurance needed that our wedding reception was going to work out fine.

We met Martina (the events manager) at our meal tasting. She made it her business to say hello to us and get to know us ahead of the big day. She has a lovely, warm, caring personality and again made us feel welcome and almost at home and offered us that extra assurance that we were going to be well looked after on the wedding day.

On the wedding day itself Martina made sure everything ran like clockwork and worked so hard all day making sure everyone was well catered for. She chats to so many of the guests even at breakfast the next morning ensuring that too that it runs well.

Then there was Aisling who along with Martina brought us into the ballroom for our photographs with the cake etc. But this is the time too that they ensured we were feeling ok. Whilst it is such a lovely fun day everyone wants to chat you and you want to chat everyone but It can be overwhelming as it is so busy leading up to the day itself. Aisling didn't rush us at all, she gave us space, brought us to quiet bathrooms away from the crowd, came up with a milk remedy to settle my husbands tummy which all worked a trick and meant that we were both feeling great for the rest of the evening after. These personal touches meant a lot!

The waitresses and the bar staff who attended all day were so friendly and helpful they couldn't do enough for you. I hope I'm right when I mention the name ?Stephen? the young lad who was the residents bar manager. He introduced himself to me very professionally and was the person who told me that there was sandwiches waiting for those wanting to have drinks in the residents bar after. They went down such a treat with everyone. His and his staffs patience at that timewwwAwawwe
of night was brilliant.

Since we have been married and have met guests who attended the wedding that day they have said how much they enjoyed their day. Top of the things they say though is how wonderful the food was. All you ever want really on your day is for everyone to feel relaxed,enjoy a good meal and having plenty of fun with each other. The food was outstanding. Everyone spoke of the flavour, how piping hot everything was and how plenty the food and drink was. Thank you so much to the chef joe Shannon and his staff for this.

Our wedding guests have also mentioned to us the venue itself how lovely the decor inside the new ballroom was. Also the comfort of the other rooms and the bedrooms when staying there. Some who live further away have been back already with their own families since.

The ladies in the spa. I called down there a few days before my wedding and asked to get a mini facial as I couldn't get time away to go to my usual place. They catered for me so well, were so lovely and the girl who actually gave me my facial was so friendly and made me feel so calm and again assured that the hotel staff were working as a team to help our day go off so well.

The receptionists who id say are often overlooked but who so need to be mentioned. I rang them up so many times about room bookings and other things. They were always so approachable and helpful. The day before the wedding I rang them up about something and the lady I received asked me was I the bride and was I relaxed, was I getting enough sleep and again reassured me that the following day was in order and to have no worries.


Someone asked few days ago if anything went wrong on my. Wedding day. I had to think fir a while and then answered ?no, actually nothing did, it was more than I ever imagined?.

We cannot thank Denise and the staff of the radison enough for the hospitality shown to us. They are do good at what they do and have helped to give us memories we will treasure forever.

Fabulous hotel. We had an amazing wedding and all our guests loved the new ballroom and bar decor. The food was just out of the world. People are still talking about how good it was. The only thing we were disappointed with was the bridal suite. Not a rose petal and a towel shaped like a swan (or any other love related item) in sight. There was two tiles missing from the side of the jacuzzi bath which I was disappointed with. Apart from this everything was perfect.

The whole day from start to finish was amazing. The staff at the Radisson Blu, Sligo made us all feel at home and so welcome. My husband and I enjoyed the whole experience of planning our wedding thanks to the support from Denise at the Radisson Blu hotel. Denise wasn't just able to give us advice and support on the hotel but also on other things to make our special day.

From the start to the finish of our wedding reception the whole team were amazing friendly and could not do enough for me and my husband they helped and supported us through the whole planning right up to the end of the night of our wedding. The whole staff are amazing. I had guest with different types of allergies and food preference that was all met without even any question as well as guests with disabilities who were helped in everyway possible.All my guest highly commended on the food staff and service. Even my own 3x children were looked after more than I realised until I got chatting them after the wedding. They told me how the staff all looked after them and help them with anything they needed. The whole way through the build up to the day Denise was on hand to answer any questions and offer sound advice, nothing was too much. On our wedding day the team were fantastic, Seamus, Martina, Aisling, Joe and all of the staff run a slick operation. Aisling even sowed my bustle button back on to my dress after it snapped. We had our drinks reception in the sun on the decking. The meal was beautiful and the venue was set up exactly as we requested. Half of our guests travelled from England for the weekend. They experienced a true irish welcome and were so impressed with the friendliness, attention and professionalism they received from everyone they dealt with.
We originally booked to have our wedding with a another local venue which caused nothing but stress and tears. The day decided to change our venue to the Radisson was the first day we experienced how a business should operate and we felt instantly assured with Denise. It was the best decision we made. What a place for a wedding. From the outset Denise & the Radisson team did everything to make sure our day was more than perfect. Stunning setting, amazing reception, sumptuous food, the new decor and refurb is unreal and the perfect scene for a fairytale wedding. Sound for band was amazing and all the staff from Seamus, Neel, Martina, Pavel, Aisling, Joe, Jonas, Fidelma, Declan & all the crew there should be cloned as they sure know how to run a hotel business with the warmest welcome ever. When guests dont want the weekend to end its a sure sign of a job well done.

Denise helped us every step of the way - I had written a song for my wife and had even learned to play the guitar! The day of the wedding I had arranged that my wife's brother was to sing the song while I played the guitar but the week of the wedding nerves got the better of him and he told us he just wouldn't be able to do it on the day. I called Denise as I had told her all about my surprise and she knew I had spent months writing the song and learning to play the guitar, she said leave it with me and a couple of hours later she called me to say she pulled in a favor with a local company and that they would video us doing the song so it could be played on the day of the wedding and that is exactly what was done ? it was played as part of my speech and my wife was blown away. To say Denise saved the day is an understatement!

Thrilled with the facility and service throughout. We worked with Denise throughout the planning period in the year leading up to the wedding celebration; she was prompt with communications, provided lots of suggestions for all the other services we would need to have (cake, flowers, music, etc), was pleasant and easy to talk to, and followed up on our requests well. The hotel accommodated us with some flexibility in these. On the day of the celebration (and the next morning) Pawel took care of us and looked after every detail with efficiency and a most pleasant 'can-do' manner. The meals and drink servings were generous. Quality of the meals excellent. All staff, and the service, very pleasant, helpful and efficient. They seemed to think of things before we had to. Our guests were very happy. We actually think it was great value. Definitely a lovely day and evening in a lovely setting.

I can't recommend Denise and the crew from the radission blue sligo enough, nothing was too much trouble, during our tasting we asked for adjustment in the starter and it was no trouble, the function room was absolutely amazing, the newly refurbished decor was commented on by lots of our guests and we had an alternate "cheese" cake and the way it was presented and decorated was amazing, I really can't recommend them enough

Denise and the team at the Radisson went above and beyond what we expected from them and the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble. Denise is amazing to deal with and so in tune with what we needed for the day. From start to finish everything went perfect. Our guests were completely blown away by the quality of the food served by Joe and his team. We were lucky to be the 2nd wedding post the renovations and the guys were so good keeping us in the loop on what the finished ballroom would look like. All the staff were amazing but finally I think Ciaran in the residents bar deserves a wee mention for how patient and good he is at his job, the tray of sandwiches was a fantastic supper for us who were still partying in the early hours of Sunday morning..

Denise was our wedding coordinator and their was nothing she could not do. Not only would she rapidly respond to any questions we had but also send in some quirky suggestions which totally suited our theme. Everything was made easy and out of all 400 guests we had attend our wedding our day flowed and we still get praise from guests which is all down to the Radisson team of experts , Highly Reccommend

I recently got married at The Radisson Blu, Sligo. From the minute we stepped through the doors, the staff could not have done enough for us. All I can say is the manager should be very proud, because the staff were the most professional and friendly I have come across in a long time. The hotel was, spotless, spacious and the food did not disappoint.. If your not a great organiser like myself then Denise the wedding coordinator is the woman to see. She was brilliant. there was no stone un turned, from helping with band, flowers and suits etc, she even had ideas for favours, menu pictures and betting slips. I only have praise for this hotel, and just to add, all of my guests commented on how good the staff were and how attentive they were.

Her attention to detail as well as organisastion was 1st class.. any questions we had she would respond literally within mayve 2hrs.. for such a busy wedding venue this is phenominal this prompt response ... for future brides i would defo say the radison is the place ... on the day itself we did not have to worry about one thing. They were so welcoming . Anything at all we needed they did for us.. they are so professional in what they do and all my guests were highly complementary of the service provided.. thank you also to martina who on the evening of it made sure all went to plan at the meal.. it was just fab.. you dont even have yo worry about additional decorations etc .. yhe ballroom is stunning and is all inc in the price..seat covers sweet cart centre pieces etc.. 100000 percent recomend this venue for your wedding

We had our wedding in The Radisson Blu hotel in Sligo on the 4th of November. The hotel is without a doubt the best hotel in Sligo to have a wedding in. From the decor, friendly staff, food, everything is first class. From the minute we booked our wedding here the staff mainly Denise the wedding planner could not do enough for you. Shes went above and beyond for us. The food on our weddind day was exceptional, fast service, beautiful beef and always roasting hot. We attended a wedding open day at the Radisson Blu Sligo as a potential venue and came out of it and sent our confirmation email to the Best events manager you will come across Denise Meenaghan.

Communication and efficiency are the key strengths of this wedding venue nothing is a big ask. The crazy chef Joe will win your heart with not only his food but his charisma for his job.

This venue is a no brainier it has the appeal of a wedding venue with its beautiful rooms and surrounding scenery and the hotels extensive collection of soft touches that are all included!! (soft touches were added extras in every other hotel I had looked at) the decor will make your guests talk but best of all the packages on offer are reasonable and hassle free.

If I can offer you one piece of advice for your wedding planning then make sure you visit Radisson Blu Hotel & Spas Sligo (during a wedding open day preferably if you can so you see it in all its glory) and speak to Denise xx

We recently had our Wedding Reception in the Radisson Hotel in Sligo. We could not recommend it any higher to couples who are planning their Big Day in the area. From start to finish the staff made our day stress free and everything went perfect. No request was too big or too small. Denise the Wedding Co-ordinator was available at any time to answer questions and help out in any way she could. The food was excellent and there was plenty for everyone. Several of our guests have told us that they really enjoyed the whole experience and the reception on arrival at the hotel was above and beyond what we expected. We can not thank the staff at the Radisson enough for making our day so special and enjoyable for all of our guests.

I cannot recommend the Radisson in Sligo enough. 5 star rating without a doubt. I still have people telling me it was one of the best weddings they are at for food, service and atmosphere. They couldn't do enough for me and everything I asked for even down to advice on other wedding matters I got it:) the staff are the nicest bubbliest bunch and Denise is in a class of her own. Excellent! Only for her it wouldn't have being the success it was. She became someone I turned to when things got stressful. Between her and her team they are fantastic and are extremely professional. No need to consider any other venue the Radisson is the only one.

We had our wedding weekend, day 1 & 2 in the Radisson in Sligo on the 12th August this year and there's really no words to describe our experience. Denise helped make the lead up and planning stress free. Everything on the day was top class and we're still hearing from our guests how great it all was. Martina & Aisling were so professional and made sure the day ran smoothly. The staff were fantastic, in particular Catherine, one of the ladies who was looking after us as well, she was so helpful and obliging. The food was amazing, Joe and his team did such a brilliant job. There was several guests who had never been to a wedding before in the Radisson and they were blown away by it. We had a big wedding and that was no problem for them to handle, the detail, the service, the food, everything was outstanding. We can't recommend it highly enough.

I cannot rate the Radisson Blu highly enough. Denise and her team were fantastic from the first day we met to the day after the wedding. They made us feel very special and far from just another couple getting married. They were easy to contact and provided us with ideas as well as taking our own wishes on board. Both Ashling and Martina made sure everything went so smoothly on the day, as well as the rest of the team working behind the scenes.
Our main request was that our guests had plenty of food and the feedback from them was the meal was fantastic with plenty of food available. No one went hungry.

We can certainly say we had our dream wedding at the Radisson and their team were key in delivering this for us. We had our wedding in the Radisson just there in July and I can safely say that they went above and beyond the call of duty and were just so easy to work with. The food on the day was fantastic served prompt and piping hot, got so much good feedback from our wedding guests after about it.Taking into account we had 240 people sitting for dinner. In my opinion this is one of the most important things on the day for your wedding guests and all they talk about the rest of the evening. Not to mention the chef here is the popular 'Joe Shannon'.

Had our wedding there back in December and what can I say about the support that we received from all the tram there especially Denise in helping make the lead up to our day so stress free especially when planning the wedding from London nothing was too much for the staff at the Radisson. AMAZING VENUE, AMAZING STAFF, AMAZING SERVICE = A PERFECT WEDDING DAY, WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND OUR EXPECTATIONS

Denise and all the staff in the Radisson couldn't do enough for us on the day of our wedding and the preparations up to it. We had the most amazing day and could not fault anything. It's a day we will never forget.

The staff were amazing. Denise and Martina took care of everything. The food was really good all came out fast and all our guests loved it. The reception was loved by all our guest and food and drinks were provided a plenty. A truly amazing day. Everything was just perfect. Would highly recommend. Also they had lots of decoration that could be used, a wishing well and a candy kart all included in the price. Simply amazing and worth every euro ????

The attention to detail was amazing and we cannot fault a thing. A special thanks to Denise for helping us organise everything from Australia and to offer her expert advise when we needed it! What can I say only a MASSIVE THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for helping us have the most amazing and memorable day ever on our wedding day. Myself & Brendan visited the Radisson as an option for our big day and as soon as we met with you we knew it was the right place for us. I honestly feel that the Radisson Sligo is way ahead of its competitors in the North West in the wedding industry, & doesn't get enough recognition for the service it provides. From our experience, a lot of this comes down to the 'safe hands' we were left in. Any query / advice I wanted Denise, you always had an immediate answer & were fantastic at providing me with an answer, whilst also giving me useful advice, as it is you who sees the weddings there every week & knows what works best. As you know, I was focused on the attention to detail & no question or job was ever too big & you always showed enthusiasm & interest ensuring the smallest of things were dealt with & catered for! Even when I landed with boxes full of stuff on the Thursday afternoon - it was not a problem.. That made my life so much easier!
The service that the top table and our guests received from Aisling & Pawel was fantastic and was the difference on the day. Every single special request was catered for. From the moment they both greeted us when we arrived, they had everything well under control. Every guest in the room was treated like they were at the top table, and so many guests went out of their way to tell us this. Aisling made sure the top table had a want for nothing, & went above & beyond for us all, ensuring we were all more than comfortable, well fed & well hydrated! The food was just amazing & Joe was just fantastic. He got a special round of applause when he appeared to come to speak with myself & Brendan! Finally, Stephen in the residents bar made sure that all the 'late night / early morning' goers were well looked after also. It is hard to believe that by 4am in the morning, the customer service standard is still top class!
I remained stress free the whole way throughout the weeks leading up to the wedding, which meant I could enjoy them more & make the time go slower, and a lot of this was down to the Radisson & knowing you's had everything well under control & thought of everything on our behalf.
So thank you for everything again Denise. I will be highly recommending you's to any couple who are looking at venues. From my experience I honestly don't believe there is a better venue around.
Looking forward already to going back to the hotel!

We got married in the Radisson Blu Sligo on 23rd of April 2016. I can honestly say the hotel was an absolutely fantastic venue. Every little detail was flawless from the reception to the food, the day went without a hitch. All staff went out of their way in the run up to the wedding & on the day to make sure everything went to plan. They were so accommodating of any extra details we wanted. I would highly recommend the Radisson as a wedding venue, the standard and quality of service is top notch and they helped make it a day we?ll never forget.

We had our wedding with you on Friday 15th April 2016 and what a fantastic day we had ,everyone is still talking about it and what a great day they had.
We had our ceremony in the hotel and a big thank you to Louise who did the ceremony and to Olivia o Hanlon who sang beautifully.
The decor in the room was amazing every little detail was outstanding.
A huge thank you to Denise the wedding co ordinator. She done so much for us and she couldn't of done enough. She is amazing in what she does ..
Nothing was too much and Denise was there on the day to settle my nerves .
Everything was perfection .

Also like to thank the chef Joe. The food was phenomenal. Everyone said how nice it was and how much everyone got.
Also like to thank martina , pavel ashling and all the staff of the radisson. Everything was incredible.

We were overwhelmed with the quality of service we received for our wedding held in the Radisson Blu Sligo. It really did exceed our expectations and we were so pleased with our choice of venue. We can honestly say we didn't find a thing to complain about. The meal was fantastic and we received numerous comments from our guests. Denise the wedding co-ordinator was extremely professional and a pleasure to deal with. We felt the Radisson offered good value for money in comparison to other venues.

Would highly reccommend the Radisson Blu Hotel for a wedding we had our reception there and nothing was a problem at any time, the wedding co ordinator helped us out at the drop of a hat with any query we had and on the day itself the staff were all so welcoming and friendly, the food was fantastic everything was pipping hot & fresh even though we were late sitting down as photos delayed us however this wasnt a problem even the head chef came out to check was our meal ok our server was very professional and our every need was attended to this is definatly a hotel to visit if your planning your wedding you certainly wont be disapointed!!!!

We got married in the Radisson in Sligo last December, we could not fault one thing, we were treated like royality from our first meeting with Denise. Nothing was ever an issue. The food, hospitality and service was first class. I have and will continue to recommend The Radisson to any couples planning their wedding. We had our wedding in the Radisson in November 2015,it was just perfect from start to finish. Denise was with us from day one,the Radisson was the first venue we looked at&were so impressed we booked there and then.Denise was so accomodating&got everything spot on &with Martina,Pavel&the rest of the guys on the day were just amazing there wasn't a thing out of place. We had our One Spirit ceremony in the hotel&everyone was blown away by the decor&the same in the ballroom for the meal.The food was fantastic Joe&the kitchen staff were brilliant,the service was outstanding. The rest of the hotel staff from the bar to reception were just brilliant and the rooms were fabulous. It was just perfect and stress free!!Can't recommend the Radisson and the staff highly enough wish could do it all again! We stayed after that again the room was just so comfortable and relaxing and Emer( I think it was )on front desk was an absolute sweetheart and sent up complimentary goodies&again I could not rate the staff highly enough throughout our stay!!
