How to Make the Most of Your Wedding Photos

Inspiration

Your wedding photos are incredibly important. You’ll display them for years to come and you’ll be showing them off to your nearest and dearest at every opportunity! I will always advise couples to book a professional wedding photographer to capture their Big Day. But is there more to making the most of your wedding photos than who you hire? Yes, there is!

There are lots of things you can do to prepare for the Big Day (like having a list of photos you’d like your photographer to capture) and ways you can enjoy your photos after your wedding (hint: it’s more than just sharing them on social media). You’ll thank me later!

Book an engagement shoot

The first step to making the most of your wedding photos is by being relaxed in front of the camera. I always advise couples to book an engagement shoot with their photographer. This is a fabulous way to get to know your photographer and become familiar with having your photo taken.

Be prepared

An expert tip to make the most of your wedding photos is to have a list! Knowing which photos you’d like to have captured on the day means that your photographer can take the time to photograph those special moments.

Print them and display them

You’ve got to do more with your photos than share them on social media! Get your stunning wedding photos printed and displayed in your home as soon as you possibly can. You’ll love seeing them and showing them off.

First anniversary gift idea

Did you know that the first anniversary gift theme is paper? Well, get some wedding photos printed and gift them to your Other Half!

Use them in your ‘thank you’ cards

A practical use for your beautiful photos is to incorporate them into your ‘thank you’ cards! Whether you are printing cards for each guest or sending a personalised email, why not include a lovely photo from your Big Day in the message.
