Our proposal… At Ardgillan castle, our favourite place!
Our wedding theme/colours… Fun spring florals of baby blue, peach and green.
Things we DIY’d/made ourselves… Mass booklets, table favours of Hershey kisses to say thank you, pew ends of wicker floral hearts, Table plan and settings.
My dress… Stella York from Dublin Bridal house.
My hair and make up… Sinead McMahon make up, Sarah Keogh hair.
His suit… Tangos Temple bar.
What our bridal party wore… Dresses Jarlo London shoes Asos.
Our ceremony… Kilskyre church Co Meath with the most beautiful music from Joanna Marie Burke.
We chose our photographer because… He was a family friend and we had an instant connection so we knew he would capture our day perfectly and his work was amazing.
We chose our wedding coordinator because… She was more than a wedding co-ordinator she was a friend and we were so lucky to have her.
We chose our venue because… It was exactly what we wanted. Our own venue for the day to share a personal and intimate day with our family and friends on the backdrop of the countryside with amazing food and service.
Our menu… Bog carrot soup, champagne sorbet, salmon or beef (cooked to order ) Lemon tarte.
Our honeymoon… Kuala Lumpur, Bali and Gili Islands.
My favourite part of the wedding day… Taking some time out to walk around the venue after dinner with my Husband.
My piece of advice for other couples… Don’t overthink or stress about the small things. Be organised and leave nothing to last minute. Relax and enjoy every moment because it’s like being in a bubble.
What is it that makes your wedding unique? The groom’s brother and his family flew in from America and they were all part of our wedding party.
