Alfie’s Bandits are a 2-piece act from Dublin, singing covers of all your favourite songs from the 50’s and 60’s to today’s chart and everything in between. We both sing, we both play, and we cater to all aspects of your big day. If you go for our acoustic set, everything you hear is 100% live and untouched. Perfect for ceremony, drinks receptions or Day 2. We also offer a tracked set, complete with DJ, where we ditch the guitars and get the dancefloor filled, perfect for your evening entertainment. Or why not go for a combination of the above by asking about our package deals?!
We are a married couple, who both happened to be singers when we met. So we know the importance of top quality music for your special day, as well as how great on-stage chemistry can be physically felt by your guests!
Aoife is our leading lady. Singing since she was a toddler, Aoife has performed with everyone from ABBA tribute acts to rock bands, wedding bands, and even worked for many years as a solo performer. Aoife has a wealth of stage experience and sings everything from Pink and Adele to Tina Turner and Stevie Nicks!
Jay has been playing music since he was 16 years old.
He served his time with a ballad group, learning guitar and singing techniques with them before venturing out on his own and performing solo for almost 10 years. Bringing everything from Thin Lizzy and Billy Joel to Sam Cooke and maybe even a good old fashioned ballad thrown in for good measure, Jay makes up the other half of Alfies Bandits.

Alfies were brilliant for us both. Start to end, music was brillant. So flexible for song requests and even kept the kids entertained. Honestly, highly recommend from both Laura and I. Guests loved the music. Thanks again for celebrating with us. Hope to see you soon again.

What can we say other than they are just incredible. Everyone who was at our wedding came to us and the one thing they all said was how amazing Alfie?s bandits were. They did both ceremony music and played our drinks reception and were exceptional through both. Even some late additions weren?t a problem and I could not recommended Jay and Aoife enough. Simply exceptional. They played a request from us to play our sons favourite song and made a fuss of him which meant a lot to us too. Book these if you?re having a wedding.

We booked Alfie?s Bandits for the day two of our wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made! Jay & Aoife are so friendly and professional. We were blown away by how talented they are. The booking process was really quick and straight forward. Our guests absolutely loved the music and it really helped to get everyone going again after the wedding day! It was one of the best parts of the wedding weekend and we can?t thank them enough. We would highly recommend Alfie?s Bandits.

Omg what an amazing band, couldn?t have asked for anything better, they made the night and our guests couldn?t stop talking about them after, they had everybody on their feet from the very start til the end. Alfie?s bandits are so professional and easy to deal with, they put my our mind at ease from the very start we made contact. We would highly recommend them without hesitation.

What can I say...Alfie's Bandits were absolutely brilliant at our wedding. They sang for our ceremony & the drinks reception. Aoife & Jay were a joy to plan the song list with & even a change during the week of the wedding was no problem to them at all! Their upbeat, lively set & mix of music was perfect during the drinks reception, as they kept all of our guests entertained & warmed up for the evening ahead. We got married on July 1st and had Alfie?s Bandits as our main act at 7pm to kick start our evening.. they did not disappoint. Fabulous voices and played a variety of songs to suit everyone on the night. They kept everyone up on their feet.
Their communication from the time of enquiry was excellent and always sufficient and professional. 100% recommend

We first heard Alfie?s Bandits in December at the 2nd day of our friends wedding and were blown by the quality of their musical talents. We booked them straight after for our own and didn?t regret it. The session in December was more mellow as it was that kind of vibe, whereas our guests were a little more wild for day 2. Alfie?s bandits sensed that and upped the tempo to meet that. Day 2 was only as good as it was because of these two sensations! All of our friends and family keep talking about how incredible they were. They were also super flexible in terms of changing dates for us etc. Just amazing!

What an incredible find!! We were so delighted to have Alfie's Bandits play at our ceremony in Dunderry Church and our drinks reception in the Headfort in Kells.. they took it upon themselves to learn my entrance song and nailed it and then had the whole crowd going on the way out of the church with Aoife playing the tin whistle as well.. so atmospheric and we are so grateful! They were also VERY easy to deal with and made life so much easier in the lead up to the wedding! Thanks guys ??

We?re getting married abroad so unfortunately couldn?t get Alfies Bandits to play but we hired them for our engagement party and had an absolute ball! Very easy to deal with. Always get back to you quickly no matter how silly the question is. Everybody loved them from young to old. A definite talking point of the party. Would highly recommend them:)

Alfies Bandits (Aoife & Jay) are amazing. We booked them for our wedding and we will never regret our choice. From day one they had us at ease with their professionalism and knowledge. Our wedding day was on St Patricks day in Wexford and the were just outstanding. We'll have no hesitation in recommending Alfies Bandits to any friends, family or strangers. People say good music makes a wedding, they guys certainly made ours.

Aoife and Jay's voices compliment each other so well with beautiful harmonies. They will add a magic touch to your special day. Having seen and heard Alfies Bandits at a wedding in the Osprey, we were so impressed we have booked them for our sons communion and for our Own wedding in 2022! Aoife and James are excellent musicians who can sing anything that u choose but they also have a chemistry (They are also husband and wife) that makes the place come alive. Not only did they learn and perform all the songs for the bride and groom, they also learned all the songs that the kiddies wanted. Very professional, great enthusiasm and big hearts. In my opinion they would make any wedding a great wedding. Definitely recommend.

Alfie?s bandits played at Rebecca and Richards wedding and were excellent ? they played a great range of songs to keep everyone happy and even a great rendition of baby shark for the younger members! They really made the night. I would highly recommend them for a wedding.

We had Alfies Bandits play at our wedding and could'nt have chose a better Duo , they had the whole place rocking the guests loved them , they were just brilliant . They sang at the cermony also and they just made everything so special for us on the day. They are so easy to work with and 100 percent gave us all we asked for, nothing was a problem they were great fun and really made our day memorable . Will most definitley be booking them again without a doubt . Just a magical combination of good fun great talent and great interaction with the crowd .
