We hired Andy to entertain our guests. He was absolutely amazing. This was our second wedding to see Andy perform at. His magic tricks are just mind blowing and everyone enjoyed. Andy was the icing on the cake for our wedding day!
Our guests just loved him, he was literally the talk of the wedding. we loved the fact he done a performance specifically for the top table first so we got to enjoy him also.

Just want to say a massive massive thank you for Andy for our wedding entertainment on Friday. The guests could not stop talking about him, with his magic tricks being a highlight for so many. There were even a few converters who did not believe in magic and we're astounded by him. He kept everyone entertained after the meal which is usually a time when people start getting tired and kept the buzz going! I even had one guest who travelled around a few tables with him to watch his tricks. Would highly recommend!

Although we sent this to Andy a few months ago, we found it best to write our review here! At our wedding in February 2023 we had an unexpected turn when our son fell ill, leading us to miss most of our celebration.
Andy had already performed a heartfelt trick before we rushed to the hospital. Weeks later in Waterford he went above and beyond enchanting us with more magic, bringing smiles to our faces, especially Killian, who had fully recovered.
What touched us deeply was Andy's thoughtful gesture - a unique memento from our wedding day. This magical keepsake captured the feeling of our day and the emotions we missed. It was an emotional moment and Andy's kindness turned a challenging day into a memory filled with magic, love, and resilience.
We are forever grateful for the magic experiences he gifted us and our guests - the continuous feedback is still coming in!

Andy left our guests speechless, with his card tricks, mind games and disappearing acts. Our wedding was on the 9th of October 2021 in Darver Castle. I had heard of Andy from a webinar from Darver Castle, I was amazed and it needed to be booked. I am so pleased we booked him.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Andy as entertainment for our wedding at the beginning of Feb.To say this guy is amazingly talented would be an understatement .All of our guests were left in complete awe & are still talking about how fantastic he was. I must admit, I was a bit hesitant to book a magician as entertainment initially however ,I can honestly say booking Andy was the best decision I made. Andy is not your average rabbit out of a hat magician ,this was completely mind blowing stuff .I highly recommend Andy to anybody thinking of having entertainment at their wedding ...trust me ,you will not regret it .

Booking Andy for our wedding was a last minute decision and it turned out to be one of the best ones! Before the wedding he was hired for one of Gers work nights out which is how we heard of him. He went down so well that night, and as we hadn't already organised any entertainment for our drinks reception, we checked if he was available for our date and booked him. He phoned beforehand to confirm everything and was so lovely to deal with. He also had another gig to get to that same night but in no way did he rush us or cut his act short. When we arrived at the venue Andy had already been mingling with our guests and he came straight over to us to congratulate us and then to perform a number of magic tricks for us. He worked the room a bit more up until dinner call and then he quietly "disappeared". Neither of us would ever have planned to get a magician for our wedding but booking Andy was the best decision and our guests are still talking about him weeks later!! He even converted a few "non-believers" in magic! Book Andy and you wont be disappointed!

Andy was outstanding in everyway. If you are thinking of hiring Andy, just do it.. you certainly will not regret it. When I first contacted Andy to enquire about his wedding service, he was very professional, easy to speak with and very quick with his responses. Anytime I had any questions or queries, I got an answer very promptly.
We booked Andy to perform after the meal, to fill the gap between dinner and the band. He arrived on time (early) and started his performance during desserts. He was amazing!! Everyone at the wedding was in awe of him (particularly my father who likes to think he knows everything!). Nobody could figure out how he did the things he did. All the guests continue to talk about it to this day. It was definitely a great decision to have him there and would HIGHLY recommend him to any couples thinking of doing something a little different on their wedding day.

I was looking for something a bit different for our wedding and I was very intrigued by Andy James but I also emailed a couple of other illusionists just in case. Andy couldn't have been more on the ball with his communication and I thought the price was fair. My family were not thrilled at the idea when I told them I have to admit...they preferred the safe idea

Andy provided the evening entertainment at our wedding on Sunday. He was really easy to deal with, professional and friendly. And his performance ... he was phenomenal! He entertained everyone in the room from age 2 to 82 with clever and entertaining tricks and great banter. He was brilliant! I'm actually at a loss for words. Everyone there loved him and loved the performance, it was just great fun from start to finish. So, so glad we didn't go with a boring old wedding band! Can't recommend him enough - brilliant!

My guests are still talking about Andy . He was amazing . He spent extra time with the kids at our wedding. We had 10 kids two of our own . They are still trying to prefect the tricks he showed them. Out of all the money we spent on extras Andy's show was the best money we spent. I would highly recommend him five stars is not enough .

I cannot fault this man in any way. He is amazing at what he does. He instantly put us at ease leading up to our big day when he took the time to call us & run through his act a few days prior, making sure we were comfortable with everything and answering any questions we had. Andy definately has the WOW factor as far as entertainment. Our guests were fascinated by him as were the small children. His act caters for all ages & I would highly reccommend him. His talent will have you scratching your heads in disbelief. He is a gentleman & made everyone's evening. Thank you so much Andy! All the best for the future!

We had Andy at our wedding and sure enough he did not disappoint.
The guy is brilliant! We live in Canada so all the arrangements were made over the phone with no problems whatsoever.
On the day his timing was impeccable. I don't know where he came from, I hadn't seen him beforehand but as soon as we were married and greeting some of the guests he was there performing.
To be honest both of us were jealous having our wedding photos taken and hearing the gasps and laughs from everyone as Andy entertained them.
To summarize, Andy is super friendly and easy to work with, he has some great magic for all ages and he is funny as hell doing it too.
We should also add our wedding was an outdoor ceremony and reception Andy had no problems mingling on the front lawn with our guests.

one of the best entertainer i have ever came across. everybody was amazed. Guests talked about it for long after the show ended. For the time and show involved i thought it worked out at a decent/good value. just responding to mail was a bit slow at the beginning but he s always just a phone call away. Money well spent!

Andy wowed all of our guests. There's photos of huge groups of people crowded round him, and almost every guest came to us to say how amazing he was. The kids especially loved him. He also did a private performance with us and gave a lovely photo frame with the magic trick in.
This guy is well worth the fee he charges, and I couldn't recommend him further. If Andy isn't at the next wedding to go to, they clearly haven't done it right!

We first found out about Andy at a friends wedding, and we absolutely loved him! When it came to organising our day, Andy was one of the first things we booked! From first contact he (and Jan) were professional and quickly responded to all our queries.
On the day Andy was amazing! He came and worked the tables in between the dinner finishing & band starting. He was a massive talking point of the day and his tricks were incredible - he went above and beyond what we were expecting and we can not recommend him enough - you won't be disappointed!

Andy was absolutely fantastic- I came up from photos and wondered had he arrived. The first guest I met said ? omg that magician- I don't know how he is doing that? . He was the talk of the afternoon. He mingled with everyone and everyone was raving about him. I only found out afterwards that when he was leaving the best man asked would he do a trick for one of the bridesmaids as she had missed him. Not only did he do a trick but he stayed for another 20 mins or so. Bearing in mind he was finished and didn't have to do that. What a gent! I would highly recommend him to anyone he was fantastic! And I still don't know how he does it!

We had Andy for the evening part of our wedding on the 1st of September 2018. He started just after the main course and did some tricks at the top table first and got in a few more tables also before the speeches. He then went around to the rest of the tables whilst our band was setting up and continued also for awhile afters. I cannot recommend Andy enough, he was absolutely brilliant. He seemed to make it around to nearly all our guests and they are still talking about him a few days later. He kept everybody from young to old entertained. He is 100% worth the money and really added to our wedding day????

When my husband suggested having a magician at our small wedding, I was a bit skeptical that there wasn't going to be enough people in the room to make it work, but I was definitely wrong. Andy James worked the room with ease and confidence. There were gasps and oohs and wows to be heard by our captivated wedding party. He mingled with the small groups of people and held their attention by performing incredible tricks and illusions. The finale performed for the whole group but specifically for the bride and groom blew everyone away and was a nice setting for our meal to begin, as everyone was now relaxed and merry.

Andy was the first supplier we booked for our wedding in October & he exceeded all expectations. Andy had all our guests talking about his tricks in the weeks after the wedding they were all so impressed. We booked Andy for the drinks reception & for after the dinner which was fantastic value for all the entertainment he provided. It was great to arrive at the drinks reception to see so many guests around in little groups watching his tricks & getting people to mix, it was a real ice breaker. Likewise to see Andy spend time entertaining the top table after dinner was great & had us all amazed! He went around too all the tables and had all the guests entertained and laughing including the grannies which made the time fly as the band set up. Overall a top class entertainer and a complete gentleman, If you book Andy you wont regret it.

Andy really added a very special touch to our day. Our wedding was a small family day in our favourite restaurant. Andy entertained our guests so well and people are still talking about him. Andy blew the lights out at our wedding in the Cliff Townhouse in May 2017! Would definitely recommend Andy James. We hired Andy for our drinks reception when we were getting our photos taken. All the guests loved him and commented how it added something different to the day! All I can say about Andy is he's Amazing, not only on the day but also to deal with. He was very fast to respond and very helpful. Andy entertained our guest while we waited for the band to set up. Which was a great idea as he really got the party started. All our guests loved him. He really helped add a bit of Magic to our day.

Andy is a true professional. He provided that something extra to our day to make it very special. Normally people talk about the band, weather, food etc afterward but everyone has discussing Andy and how amazing he was at our drinks reception. Since our wedding i have received a number of calls from guests at our wedding to get his number and i know he has been booked by all of them for various events. We cant recommend him enough. He is a must have at any wedding!

I had Andy James at my wedding on the 3rd July, and it was the best money I ever spent I didn't have a band so I wanted something different so he entertained the guests while we were getting photos I also had him for after the meal for stand up magic act well it's was brilliant people still talking about it! My son is 7 and he couldn't of done enough for him on the day!

Andy was extremely professional. All our guests were amazed by him on our big day! Almost a year later they still talk about some of the tricks he did on the day. He blended into the crowd so easily and we really were delighted with the service he provided.

I have to honestly say Andy was AMAZING one of the most memorable parts of our day. Everyone was amazed by him! . He mingled fantastically with young and old, the kids all want to be magicians now! Everyone got to see him perform which was fantastic. We had fabulous feedback from all our guests and I would love to go and see him again. Myself and my husband & family still talk together about some of the tricks he performed and how he possibly could of done them. I would definitely recommend everyone to book him - he wowed everyone and will be forever one of the greatest memories of our big day!

Myself and my new husband Declan had Andy perform at our wedding in September this year. We were overjoyed at the reaction of our guests to Andy's performance, so many of them commented on how much they enjoyed his tricks and he truly entertained them. The drinks reception can sometimes be a lull in the day but not when Andy is around. We would definitely recommend Andy to other couples planning their wedding.

Simply amazing ,, Andy wowed our guests to the point that some of them then went online to goggle how he bent the coin... But his secret is safe ????
From the moment we booked Andy we knew it was the best choice for the few hours spend before the wedding dinner. Our guests loved his very casual but professional approach. To the point that when he moved around threw the guest they were following him.
He even went as far as leaving a fantastic surprise for my self and husband when the day was all over.
He is a must for anybody's day. My friends are contacting me for his details for there weddings and birthday events. He is Such a nice guy.
