Hi folks,Céad míle fáilte!! Congratulations on setting the date!!! I am Anne-Marie Powderly Wedding music or Annie Powderly, whichever suits. I am a wedding singer and guitarist with well over years of experience singing at wedding and church ceremonies. I began singing at the age of 7 in my local Folk choir. I graduated to Folk group leader in my late teens. I enjoyed this role for many years working with other singers and musicians until I headed off to college to complete my BA in Social Care. Over the years I have developed an unsurpassed knowledge of suitable ceremonial and contemporary music to cater to your unique style of wedding. I am very much focussed on you, the couple and your story. It is my goal to help create the perfect mix of music from your suggestions that will work and blend in to your ceremony. The music should enhance, not overpower your ceremony. To achieve this, I work in sync with your other suppliers too.The vast experience I built up over the years is essential in helping you with the planning of both your ceremony layout and your personal music preferences.I self accompany on guitar but I can also provide organ music on request for entrance or exit, playing pieces such as the Bridal or Wedding March. If you would like backing tracks for some pieces that can also be arranged.My repertoire is quite eclectic from The Bridal March (Organ) Pachabel's Canon in D major (with PA system) to How Long Will I Love You, popular hymns like Amazing Grace, Down in the River to Pray, Cead Mile Failte Romhat, to At Last (Ella Fitzgerald). This is but a small sample of what I can provide! I love adding a bit of Irish to your ceremony if that is your choosing. My sound would be contemporary folk with a real sprinkling of Celtic soul. So as gaeilge works quite well.The Arrivals ReceptionI offer a very competitive package which can save you a few euro. If you want go get the party started before the meal I have everything from Tina Turner to Aslan. Or more mellow tunes for an intimate arrivals like Nora Jones.I am the perfect choice for your Arrival/Drinks Reception music. I have a great ability to read your guests and what type of vibe works for you the couple and your guests. We finally got married on the 11th March 2022 (after 5 attempts and waiting 2 extra years). Annie was our first choice from day one to sing at our ceremony and reception. Annie is such an amazing lady. She is energetic, fun and so lovely. Her voice is incredible and she can sing anything. She created such a happy atmosphere and all of our guests were blown away by her. If you want something extra special on your wedding day, Annie is the lady for the job!

Her voice is absolutely stunning and I mean STUNNING!! she sounded so beautiful in the church - everyone commented on her gorgeous voice. Annie was so reasonably priced & an ease to book & contact if needed. Total stress free experience. She made the bridesmaids cry! Beautiful singer highly recommend.

Annie was amazing, nothing I asked was too much, I was very particular in what I wanted and she never once made me feel like I was asking too much. She was also a great support with other aspects of the weeding I couldn?t recommend her enough and people still talk about her at the reception drinks

We booked Anne-Marie after hearing her at a wedding fair as her voice was so beautiful, she definitely did not disappoint on the day her singing was amazing and added so much to our day. Throughout our planning Anne-Marie was so helpful and took all the stress away of picking songs for a very fussy priest!! Couldn't recommend Anne-Marie anymore, beautiful voice and a beautiful kind hearted person

What can we say about Annie??? There just aren't enough words in the dictionary that convey the pure Amazingness of Annie!! From the moment we met she was professionalism personified but also so easy to just chat to too. Her talent at what she does knows no bounds. Her voice gives me goosebumps and when she sang me up the aisle I had tears in my eyes!! So many of our guests commented on and complimented Annie. I have no hesitation in recommending Annie as a ceremony singer.

Anne-Marie was such a pleasure to have sing at our wedding. Due to time constraints on our part we were unable to meet Anne-Marie in person until our wedding day, all of our meetings were held via Skype. Anne-Marie was very organised with a large listing of songs/hymns to choose from on her website and booking information. Anne-Marie was absolutely fabulous. We held our ceremony in the Gothic Hall of Luttrellstown Castle in November 2016. Her voice was beautifully suited to the room and brought more a few of the attendees ??including the bridal party to tears, with the emotion in her voice.
During the formal ceremony parts, with the celebrant speaking, we had arranged with Anne-Marie to play some chords in the background. This added a real depth to the service ??so many people thought it was a beautiful touch.
We would highly recommend Anne-Marie to all our friends and family for any future weddings.

Anne-Marie played at church and at reception of my wedding and I found her to be absolutely brilliant to work with from picking songs to deciding on music for the reception he attention to detail is first class. We had Anne at our ceromany and at our drinks reception and she was amazing. I gave her a couple of songs that were not on the list for the ceromany and it was no problem for her to sing them. Anne-Marie is a must for any function but especially for your wedding. She is fantastic.

Anne-Marie was a pleasure to deal with and extremely professional. We got married on the 5/5/16. I wanted a church singer to sing modern songs. Anne-Marie was able to sing all the songs that I requested including 'A Thousand Years', 'The One', 'All of me' and 'How long will I love you'. She was able to provide with a long list of other songs and I chose a lot of my other church music from that.On the day, her voice was beautiful and it sounds beautiful on the wedding DVD. I would highly recommend Anne-Marie. She is professional, flexible and very reasonably priced. She is also a lovely person to work with.

Annie is such a talented singer and has the voice of an angel! We are so delighted that she was able to be part of our wedding day. In the lead up to our wedding, she was so helpful with our song and hymn choices and even gave me renditions over the phone! We met with Annie and with in minutes we knew we wanted her to sing at our wedding. She is beyond professional, an amazing singer and so personal to what we wanted for our day. We had picked the songs for the church ceremony and left everything else up to Annie. She also attended the drinks reception and created such an amazing atmosphere for our guests who were all commenting about how her presence there added to the relaxed atmosphere while people chatted and sat out in the sun. If I was to do it all again she'd be top of my list to call and I honestly couldn't recommend her highly enough. Anyone that books Annie for their day will not be disappointed.

Annie sang for our wedding last month. Our choice of music for the church was quite atypical ranging from the Beatles to Metallica. I had never heard Annie sing prior to my wedding day except from her website and sound cloud. I have to say Annie totally pulled it off, she has a very beautiful voice and unique tone. She plays the guitar so well and even managed to work out an arrangement with my cousin who played a trumpet fanfare for our entrance to the church. No request was too much, she also accompanied one of our guests who sang the responsorial psalm. Annie was very professional and easy to work with. All during the mass I couldn't wait to hear the next song and she did not disappoint. We received many compliments for annie and I would have no hesitation in recommending her for your wedding ceremony. She is very flexible and easy going and can basically sing anything you want. Anne did my church and drinks reception, from the 1st time we met she was amazing, she couldn't have done enough for us! My daughter loved her and she was great with her singing her songs.
