Brian knocked it out of the park with our wedding cake! Not only was it absolutely gorgeous, fitting right in with our theme and colour scheme, it tasted absolutely delicious. All of our guests loved it, so much so that I had to squirrel some away for myself and my husband!

Brian actually drove from cork to Killarney with our cake the morning of our wedding. He was just amazing to deal with and added a very special touch to our cake for us.
I'm not exaggerating when I say not a crumb was left of the whole 3 tiered cake. It was spectacular.

We were absolutely delighted with the cake Brian made for our wedding!! From start to finish even through a pandemic and rescheduling Brian was always at the end of the phone and so easy to talk to!! We showed him a couple of pictures of something we would of liked and he went over and beyond and made it even better than we imagined!! It was amazing and all the flavours were divine!! Brian was an absolute professional from start to finish, so easy to deal with (even just through emails through a pandemic without face to face consultations) he had everything to a tee with no complications whatsoever! Brian delivered and set up the cake at the venue on the morning of the wedding, so we had nothing to do but enjoy it. He also included our dog Ralph in the design which we loved. Brian and his cake creations are amazing. I showed him an image of what I was thinking as an idea at our tasting, and he helped me consider additional details which made the cake really 'wow' on the day. Aside from the look, the taste was absolutely amazing (we knew it would be after our tasting, but every single person whose had the opportunity to taste since has said the same). Brian did an amazing job on our wedding cake. He was extremely flexible given that our wedding was much smaller than initially planned and therefore our cake was smaller too. We gave Brian an idea of the design we would like and he did it even better than we could have imagined! It tasted amazing too!

We cannot recommend Baker Boy Cakes enough. Our wedding was Jan 2nd, at the height of Level 5 COVID-19 restrictions. Throughout all the uncertainty surrounding our wedding, having a beautiful wedding cake to share with friends and family was never going to be a concern for us. Brian was always going to make everything so easy for us.
From the day we first contacted Brian he was helpful, friendly and professional. We had an idea of a festive woodland themed cake, we love the outdoors and got engaged in a forest. Brian made that idea come true by creating a cake that was breathtaking and better than we could ever have imagined.
Not only was the cake stunning to look at, but it was the most delicious thing we have ever tasted. From the most incredible light, fluffy and zingy lemon tier to the luxurious chocolate with salted caramel tier, everyone was raving about the flavours.
We feel so lucky that a friend recommended Baker Boy Cakes to us and we ended up with the best tasting cake we've ever had.
It's also important to note the value of the cake was just incredible.
The tasting selection Brian gave us when choosing our flavours was so much fun..it was a tough decision as each sample was so amazing!

Brian was extremely accommodating, during very difficult and challenging times for suppliers and couples.
We weren't able to meet with Brian to do a consultation due to Covid restrictions, but he arranged for us to get a delicious box of samples and we sent him pics of the styles that we liked. Brian worked directly with our florist to decorate the cake and the result was 2 tiers of perfection. Even though we never even met Brian he created a cake that looked and tasted better than we could ever imagine! It way exceeded our expectations. Thank you Brian! We're already planning our next white chocolate biscuit cake order!!! :)

The cake Brian made for our wedding was spectacular. Brian himself was so courteous and accommodating, taking our colour scheme and incorporating it so beautifully! He advised us around size and design and it just looked so elegant.

The cupcakes were also adored by my nephews and our older guests were delighted with the fruit cake. We?re so so grateful to Brian and would highly recommend him. He even facilitated a dinosaur cake for my nephews birthday! We?ll be back to him for all other occasions no doubt.

We got our wedding cake with Brian in September 2020 having postponed from April 2020. Brian couldn't haven been more helpful or accommodating in the middle of a very stressful time with Covid-19. The cake itself on the day was magnificent, everything we hoped for and more. All our guests raved about how it looked and of course the yummy taste! We were very happy with the service and end product delivered by Brian and would highly recommend him. In fact we went back for his Chocolate biscuit puddings at Christmas!

We can't recommend Brian highly enough. After meeting numerous suppliers at a wedding fair who started off by telling us "you'll want the three tier"etc, etc, we were really disheartened so it was refreshing when we met Brian and asked what kind of wedding package he offered that his response was "whatever you want!" Brian made the whole experience of our choosing our wedding straight forward and stress free. For our tasting, he was so lovely to chat to and extremely generous with his samples - he even made a number of gluten free samples separately for me, which I really appreciated,as we needed a mix of GF and non-GF tiers.the GF cake was as good as the non-GF! From my very first email to Brian about a client off mine who got married recently and unfortunately her cake was thrown out by the hotel,which Brian had made, I wanted to replace the cake for her as she was so upset and got no resolution from the hotel. We had our magnificent wedding cake made by Brian of Baker Boy Cakes for our wedding in August and nearly 11 weeks later people are still talking about it. In January 2019 we booked the Baker Boy Cakes for our wedding taking place in July 2019 and I'm very glad we got in quick as pretty soon afterwards they were full up and not taking anymore bookings until October. From the beginning Brian was very easy to deal with and we quickly got the sense that he was able to do pretty much any design we could come up with!! We live in France but our wedding took place in Cork and this really didn't create any issues at all in terms of communication with Brian. We met up with him 4 months before our wedding as it was the only time we were in Cork and he was very willing to accommodate us. We got to taste a few of the flavours he has on offer and they were delicious! A few weeks before the wedding we changed our minds on the design we would like and this was absolutely not an issue. When we saw our wedding cake in the ballroom on our wedding day it was exactly what we had pictured. From our emails to Brian he was able to understand perfectly our vision. We would highly recommend the Baker Boy Cakes and our recommendation would be to book early and then worry about the details later on, your vision will probably change a lot in the months leading up to the wedding anyway!

Brian was a dream to deal with. I am coeliac and he provided so many gluten free options, I would have had the entire cake GF but my husband wouldn't allow!! We had a tier of GF biscuit cake at the base and it was to die for. The other layers went down a treat with friends and family looking for Brian's details afterwards. I met Brian at a wedding fair one and a half years ago. After seeing his work and tasting his cakes I was sold! I booked Brian for our wedding. We live away from home, so I didn't have time to meet Brian after booking him. I ordered everything online with Brian, I explained the type of cake I wanted and he was able to accommodate us and accomodate our dietary requirements-we needed a gluten free teer! Brian was always professional. He delivered the cake to the hotel for us and the wedding reception was the first time we saw the cake! It was better than I had imagined and it tasted fabulous! Brian was very accommodating with meeting me very early in my planning as I live in the UK but got married in Cork.
I originally had booked a 3 tier cake but in the end went with 4 tiers and I'm so happy I did. Every tier tasted AMAZING. People thought I was crazy choosing a coconut and lime tier but on the day guests didnt stop raving about it. The white chocolate biscuit tier was also a great hit, flavours you only dream about.

Baker Boy Cakes are simply delish. We choose a Chocolate biscuit cake layer and a lemon and raspberry layer and they were to die for. So well made and looked stunning! I had a birhtday cake ordered as a surprise for my hubbie, dad and sister (too many birthdays) and the Muppet cake I picked was amazing, the coconut and lime was a great mix and complimented the rest of the cakes brilliantly. The cake was all set up with our flowers and lego cake topper on top, no mess no hassle no drama. We can't sing Baker Boy praises enough!!
