UNBELIEVABLE! 5 STARS ISN'T ENOUGH ( SO 6 STARS 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟) This band completely transformed our wedding into the most unforgettable party of our lives. From the first moment Lucy sang at our ceremony, to our reception with the duo of Lucy and Kev, to their fabulous band (Mike, Kev, Lucy and Andrew) and also then Andrew as Dj later on. This band do it all! The room was captivated! Their sound was beautiful and electric! Their harmonies were flawless, and their stage presence was unreal.
They didn’t just perform — they connected with everyone. They got our guests singing, dancing, laughing, and loving every second. The transitions were seamless, the energy never dipped, and they somehow made each song feel like a moment.
It’s rare to find a group this talented who are also so kind and genuine.
Our guests are still raving about them, and honestly, so are we. If you want your wedding to feel extra special, this is the band you need. They didn’t just play music — they created magic.

We Had Lucy sing at our ceremony and then The Band followed by DJ and I couldn't recommend them enough! We got so many positive comments about the ceremony, Lucy was so accommodating to all our requests and did a lovely mix of singing and piano throughout the ceremony. The band were fantastic and as the dancing feet got tired they knew exactly what to do to draw the crowd back in again! Guests of all ages were saying how much fun they had with the dancing! The night felt like a giant party with friends and family and Ball and Chain brought the vibes. Kevin and Lucy were also so easy to deal with throughout the booking/planning! Dont hesitate if you are thinking of booking them, go for it!

This band are amazing! We had them at our Dublin wedding this month and our guests were on the dance floor for hours! I would really recommend Ball and Chain if you want fun filled energy and a lot of dancing! DJ set was also great, knew how to keep the party going!

We had Ball and Chain play at our wedding, and they were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The energy they brought to the night was incredible. The dance floor was full from the very first song until the last. Their setlist was spot on, with something for everyone, and they really knew how to read the room and keep the atmosphere electric all evening.
We also had Lucy for the church music, and she was amazing. Her voice was beautiful, and she added such a special, emotional touch to the ceremony. So many of our guests commented on how moving and memorable the music was. It really made the moment feel extra meaningful.
The band were a dream to deal with in the lead-up to the big day. They were professional, responsive, and so easygoing. Nothing was ever a problem, and they made the whole process completely stress-free.
We’ve had so many of our guests tell us how brilliant the band were and how much they enjoyed the music. If you’re looking for a band that guarantees a great night, we couldn’t recommend Ball and Chain highly enough. They absolutely made the night for us!

We had Ball & Chain for our big day this year, May Bank Holiday weekend in Killashee House Hotel. We thought the weather would be the biggest plus on the day and then Lucy started to sing in the ceremony room. We saw these guys at a friends wedding and knew we had to book them in straight away. They looked after us all day and night, from the ceremony music, the drinks reception, and finally altogether in the main hall. What a night and we cannot thank them enough.... They really did look after us and we got so many compliments from guests, we knew from just looking at the packed dance floor. Cannot highly recommend enough, thank you guys. Just a quick note to thank you and the band for an amazing night in the Talbot Hotel Carlow Friday 11th April .Ye were absolutely unreal, the dance floor was never empty. Guests from the night are still commenting on how brilliant you were, most of them never seen ye play before and were blown away . The family dance off was so funny (the wheel barrow definitely was a first I’d say )

We had Ball and Chain play at our wedding at Christmas. They played at a wedding we had attended and we knew from then, that we had to have Ball and Chain for our big day. We couldn’t have asked for a better band and DJ. From the get go, the lads and Lucy were so easy to work with; nothing we asked was an issue. Ball and Chain played at our wedding in November and I would highly recommend them! Lucy sang at our ceremony and sounded beautiful. Herself and Kevin then provided the music at our drinks reception which was perfect. The band then played a great set which had everyone up dancing! They had great energy and got everyone involved - wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ball and Chain for your wedding day!

We had ball and chain wedding band for our wedding, and without a doubt I’ve been at a few weddings before but these guys top the list in my book, our first dance “nothing is gonna stop us now”, was played and sang by Andrew incredibly, knowing the drummer kevin from my hometown and chatting bout wedding music etc there’s nothing they couldn’t play for us, even had them for the DJ at the end and wedding was in October and we requested a Xmas song to be played and no problem. They were talked bout for days after the wedding and how good they were the music etc, the floor was never empty, have to say thanks to all you guys in the band, couldn’t expect better

We had Ball and Chain play at our wedding earlier this month - we booked the band and DJ set. From start to finish they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. No query was too much. We viewed them at a wedding and at a showcase which was very helpful! We got to meet the band (all very friendly!) and discuss the layout of the evening, their style etc.
The dance floor was full (even the younger kids were dancing!) and they played songs we requested. Our guests were full of compliments for them! I wasn't keen on having a dance off initially but it was actually such a success!! Great engagement with the crowd! If I could get married again I'd book them again!

Ball and Chain set a fantastic vibe, and really got the crowd up and dancing! We also paid to have the extra DJ after the band - worth every penny with great songs until the end!

Highly recommend Ball and Chain. They are a class act! More importantly they are a collection of just sound people that gave their all to make our wedding the best craic.
Lucy was incredible, her voice is amazing. She was happy to learn new songs for our ceremony. Nothing was of any bother to her. I am still in awe of her dedication still absolutely smashing out the tunes with only two weeks until her babies due date. (Delighted to have seen the new rock star has since arrived safely❤️)
My only worry on the night was that my brand new father in law might actually drop dead of heart attack. He loved the band so much he wouldn't leaving the dance floor. Using his tie to wipe the sweat from his face was a sight to behold.

Very easily arranged. Great communication and no hassle. Easy going band with great flexibility. Felt like after we booked, didn't have to worry about a thing. On the day they were on time and very professional. Got the crowd on the dance floor and the party going. Fantastic musicians. `So many compliments from guests! We had the ball and chain full package for our wedding 1st June 2024. Not only is it excellent value and stressfree having your church to dj music sorted they are amazing at their job. Lucy has the voice of an angel and people did not stop talking about her.
The band are incredible at reading the room and the guests. The dance floor was full all night from such amazing music and the games they play. The dance off was a particular hit from the night!
I would recommend the ball and chain to anyone getting married they are true professionals and will help make your wedding a night to remember for you and your guests!

We could not recommend Ball and Chain Wedding Band more! Our wedding was May 2024. They got everyone on the dance floor straight from the start!
Everybody at the wedding said how amazing they were and I don’t think there was a part of the night where the dance floor was empty!
We hired the duet for our drinks reception, the band for our reception and the DJ for our after party of the night!
They really know how to read the room with such a mix of music tastes!

We booked the guys back in April for our Wedding and we honestly couldn’t have been happier. Lucy sang solo for our ceremony and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful her voice was. She was then joined by Kevin for our drinks reception and again they provided lovely entertainment for our guests as they unwinded before dinner. The entire band then brought huge energy and fun to the evening part. The dance floor was packed at all times and it was everything we hoped it would be. Couldn’t recommend Ball and Chain enough.

We had Ball & Chain Wedding Band for our wedding last year. And still 18 months later our family and friends speak about our music for the whole day. We had Lucy for our drinks reception and then the full band and Dj for the rest of the evening. They took on board what we wanted and didn’t want and it made the day really about us and our taste as a couple. I just want to say a big thank you to Lucy for the lovely ceremony music, you have an amazing voice.
Herself and Kevin sang for our guests during our drinks reception and they were just perfect together, they sang a variety of songs and our guests were impressed.
The band and dj played a mix of different songs to suit all ages,the dancefloor was always full, our guests said they were the best band they ever heard. They really got the crowd going.

We had ball and chain from our ceremony up to the d.j and We cannot thank lucy and ball and chain enough for making our wedding day , we got so many compliments on the music and band, Lucy was amazing as our ceremony singer and at our drinks reception and the band together and dj had the whole dance floor full all night. The combination of music and just pure enjoyment didn't stop . I Highly recommend this band especially as a whole package .

We had the Ball and Chain Wedding Band for both our wedding band and DJ services. While the band's music sounded great, their behaviour on the night of our wedding was very disappointing. They made inappropriate comments about our guests on the dance floor, particularly singling out one of our guests.
In the days following the wedding, we received feedback from our guests, who expressed how rude the band had been and how they had declined song requests. To add to this, our best man asked the band to sing "Happy Birthday" to the groom at midnight, as it was his birthday the day after the wedding. The band made a significant fuss about this request and even hesitated to comply initially.
A concerning incident occurred on the dance floor when someone accidentally knocked themselves and two other guests to the ground. One of the guests affected was a woman in her 60s who hit her head on a step and required medical attention. I personally approached the band, requesting that they stop playing momentarily to ensure everyone's safety, but they refused to do so.
Their social media presence claims they "specialise in crowd interaction," but our experience clearly contradicted this claim. They were the only vendor we were not satisfied with on our wedding day. I would not recommend them for your wedding.

I'm not sure what level of interaction you were expecting, but your wedding guests got the exact same thing as hundreds of other very Very happy couples including the dance off and sing off which I remember the majority of your guests loving and the floor was never empty.
I remember the fall happening, firstly, we couldn't see what happened exactly as it was around the corner from us, so we wernt sure what had actually happened, secondly, nobody explicitly told us to stop, but we did actually pause of our own initiative and asked "was everyone ok".
When we then restarted, if that was inappropriate then surely someone would have/should have came up and told us to stop, but that didn't happen, apologies for that, but like I said, we didn't actually see or know what happened.
Yes we were requested to sing happy birthday and we did, it might not have happened immediately, but it did happen.
In relation to rude comments;
I believe you're referring to one particular gentleman that was in a very Very "festive" mood. On two separate occasions he disrupted our performance, firstly we asked him to stop riding a chair across the dancefloor like a horse.
Secondly, we asked he stopped interrupting the dance off.
If any comments were offensive to anyone, I can only apologise for that and it wasn't intentional at all, probably an attempt at humour that misfired so sorry for that.
If some requests were made for the dj and didn't happen, sorry but this happens with every single dj set in the country.
There's an art to knowing what to play and when to play it, this is why you pay for the pro, experienced dj. If he didn't deem a request appropriate, then that's his call, not every request is gonna be fulfilled and it would be unreasonable to assume so.
We will take your comments on board sincerely, and I do hope (from what I seen I do think) that the majority of your guests had a decent time with us.

I just wanted to say thank you very much to you all for the amazing music all day and night for us.
The band and DJ kept the dancefloor full and everyone had a great time. Great selection of music and really suited both the younger and older crowd.
We booked you having seen you play at my sister and cousin's weddings, and people at our own wanted to keep your name for the same reason.
Also to Lucy for her beautiful singing in the church. It made the ceremony very special for both of us. Everyone said how amazing her voice was and cant get over how she can sing such a range of songs so effortlessly.

Ball and Chain are a great wedding band and we highly recommend them to all. From when we say them online, to the wedding showcase to the wedding day itself they have been nothing short of perfect. The band were great with communicating and even learning a song or two for us which we greatly appreciate.The amount of compliments we got from everyone about them from all ages and different music tastes shows that they cater to all. They had everyone on the floor from the moment the music started until the DJ was finished. There was a delay with the ceremony time (Road works etc.) and there wasnt a complaint at all from them which we will always be grateful for. Lucy's voice for the ceremony was one word that kept coming up again and again perfect. It was more then we expected. For the drinks reception, we were lucky to be outside with the weather and Kevin and Lucy kept the atmosphere going and everyone loved their voices together. The band even got some games going with the crowd and allowed a famiy member to sing at the end of the night (She can sing so it was ok). We couldn't have asked for more jumping, jiving and singing our hearts out from any other band and highly recommend to everyone with an occasion coming up.

We heard about Ball and Chain from a family friend and we are so lucky we did. They were lovely to deal with and very accommodating. On the day they played an amazing set and the dance floor was full the entire night! They had great energy and constantly interacted with the crowd which really added to the experience and I couldn't recommend any more highly.

Ball and Chain were just incredible! We are so delighted that we chose them for our full wedding day, they just made everything so simple for us!! I actually can't begin to explain how beautiful Lucy's voice is, she made our ceremony so so special!! We booked the band originally in 2020 but had to reschedule due to restrictions, and they were very accommodating and made the booking process very easy for us.
Their setlist was great and had something for everyone. Our guests particularly liked the 90's dance tracks and the synth! So much so, that some of our guests tried to book Ball and Chain for their own weddings as they were packing their equipment away.
We honestly hope to see Ball and Chain again at another wedding in the near future, and would not hesitate for a second to recommend them for yours.

We are so glad that we chose Ball and Chain for our full wedding day. Lucys voice really made our ceremony and she was very helpful with ideas for suitable music throughout the ceremony.
All of our guests kept commenting on how excellent the music was throughout the day. Kevin and Lucy really set the atmosphere for the drinks reception.

Ball and Chain were the third wedding band we went to see and booked them straight after. We had them for the band and DJ. They were always quick to respond and very helpful with any questions we had beforehand and turned up early on the day to be ready for whenever we needed them. We had an absolute blast on the night and the dancefloor was always busy, even with it being a small wedding. All the guests had a great time and were raving about the band afterwards. Couldn't recommend them enough!!

What a night was had all thanks to Kevin and the gang!! They were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish and no request was too much for them. They made organising music for the wedding so easy with no stress. They had the dance floor packed from start to finish and everyone expressed how great the band (and dj) were. Both Darren and I would 100% recommend these guys again and again. Thank ye all for giving us an amazing night, definitely one to remember!!

Ball and Chain played at our wedding earlier this month, they were absolutely fantastic. The dance floor was full from start to finish. I never danced as much in all my life. Really good selection of music for all tastes. They are all very talented musicians and i especially liked the way they interacted with the crowd and got everyone involved. These guys are fantastic, hands down we couldn't have made a better choice! We booked Ball and Chain to cover everything from ceremony to DJ and they absolutely nailed it. So responsive from the get go. Complete stress free planning with them. The ceremony music was magical, the drinks reception music kept everyone upbeat and from the time they started playing after the meal until they finished in the early hours of the morning the dance floor was full, they really know how to judge a crowd. Our guests were full of compliments afterwards. Thanks again guys, loved it!!

Ball and Chain were fantastic start to finish. They were a pleasure to deal with while I planned the day, accomodated all song choices and gave helpful tips. We chose Lucy to sing at our ceremony, she is supremely talented and made the mass extra special. We also had the lads play guitar at our drinks reception, the full band for our wedding reception and DJ. I cannot recommend Ball and Chain enough. I have never danced so much or laughed so hard. Their set list caters for all ages with a fantastic mix of classics and chart music. Everyone commented how amazing the band were and guests of ours have already booked them for their own big day. We had Ball and Chain wedding band at our wedding on 29th September 2021 in kilkea castle. From start to finish they were fantastic, they had the dance floor filled all night with everyone up enjoying a dance to the great choice of songs they were playing. They played something for everyone's taste and were great at interacting with the crowd. Cant recommend them enough, very accommodating when we had to change our date from may to September because of the pandemic.

We had ball and chain at our wedding drinks reception, after our dinner and after hours they also provided the dj for us....they provided the mr and mrs light up letters too which wer top of the range! We couldnt reccomend them highly enough, we have had soooooo many compliments on how good the band where and how packed the dancefloor was from start to finish. We couldn't recommend Ball and Chain highly enough. From watching a few of their videos online, we knew they were the band for us and my god, did they deliver. They had the dancefloor packed all night long, catering to all ages and making it such a fun experience for everyone. Our guests are still talking about how brilliant ye were - 3 months on! Kevin was so easy to deal with and very responsive throughout.

They played exactly what we wanted and really played for their audience. All of our guests talked about the band for weeks after the wedding and we still get people commenting on them months later!

Honestly couldn't have asked for better, dance floor didn't empty all night and the guys were so easy to deal with.

What can I say about these guys other than truly amazing. They played out our wedding in the ardboyne Hotel and I couldn't be happier with how the night went. My guests had a great time and loved the variety of music that was played. Having had to postpone due to covid and trying to reschedule i was over the moon when they could do our new date and they were well worth the wait. We also had Andrew stay for dj once the band finished up and no request was too small. Kevin was a pleasure to deal with having to facilitate the changes and any questions I had was no problem. I just hope I have the pleasure of seeing them play again soon, I highly recommend these guys 100 % and wish them the best of luck for their future gigs..... Ball and Chain what a class act.
From the music at the reception, Kevin was able to warm the mixed crowd of people we had. We loved their version of John Legend, All of Me, as our first song and from then forth every song the band played had the crowd dancing. They kindly were able to do a special request song for us called Everlong by Foo Fighters and they played it superbly and got the crowd going even more! They are all incredible muscians and put a flawless peformance on for us. We were so pleased as was the wedding crowd. We had fun with the Irish dancing and the 90's raving inbetween too, such a laugh! The kids out performed many of us with their pure energetic moves to the music!
The DJ set was with Andrew after and what a gentleman! He took on a bunch of requests to remix for us, much to everyone's delight! This band will endeavour to cater for everyones taste with pure class performance. I'm still humming to and Bruce Springsteen. Only wish it went on for longer !! xxx Thanks again guys, hope to catch ya again in a pub or even better at another wedding , sending love Ita and Alex xx
From the music at the reception, Kevin was able to warm the mixed crowd of people we had. We loved their version of John Legend, All of Me, as our first song and from then forth every song the band played had the crowd dancing. A massive thank you to Ball & Chain, they played at our wedding on the 10th of October. From the minute they started playing to their very last song they had everyone up on the dance floor! Every song they played seemed to just get better & better as the night went on, they played a bit of everything to suit the crowd but I have to say their 90's dance mix was my favourite part of the night, our wedding guests just went mad for it!
We can't recommend them enough, lovely people to deal with and would love to attend many more weddings that they play at because they are just top class.

So happy we booked you's for the full package, so easy to deal with.
You guys made our wedding and there was a lot of sore feet the morning after. The dance floor was never empty and the dance off was the icing on the cake.

We had the pleasure of having the Ball and Chain do our wedding on Dec 17th 2021 in the Brandon House in New Ross. The band/DJ put on an incredible show.
Every tune was a banger and we couldn't have asked for better entertainment for our big day. All our guests were raving about them.

We were blessed to be able to have Ball and Chain perform at our Wedding on 10th July 2021. We couldn't have asked for a better band and DJ, the music was phenomenal and they had everyone on the dance floor all night - exactly what you want on your big day and they made everything that extra bit special. The jigs were epic and the craic was mighty! We cannot wait to be invited to another wedding they?re performing at. We would highly recommend for to make a lively wedding. They had great interaction with the guests and we loved “rock the boat” near the end, great fun
