Barry Caulfield Music
Barry is a professional singer, violinist and pianist who has been performing in top venues and churches around Ireland for the last 10 years. He is currently a resident professional musician and singer in Bunratty Castle. He has completed a Bachelor of Music degree in Maynooth University and a Masters of Music Education in NUIG. He is passionate about providing couples with music that is personal to them and makes every effort to perform any song or piece of music the couple wants.
Barry can perform any genre of music as a solo performer and also has contact with many top accompanists around Ireland who, together, can make the musical choices of a couple come to life.

We cannot thank Barry enough for how special he made our wedding ceremony. He created the exact relaxed, personal atmosphere that we wanted. From learning several new songs, dueting with our friend, and his communication from day one, we cannot thank express our gratitude enough. He also stunned the crowed with his version of The Prayer that will stay with us forever. Thank you Barry ❤️

Not only is Barry an incredible musician and vocalist, but he is such a kind person and went above and beyond to ensure that we had the sound we wanted for our wedding day.
I first heard Barry singing in Armada House last December for their Festive Afternoon Tea event. I was there with my two bridesmaids. To say we fan girled was an understatement. We were blown away by his voice and his amazing skill playing the piano, and as if that wasn’t enough, Barry later produced a violin and played beautiful Christmas carols. There is nothing this man can’t do.
I knew Barry would be amazing for our wedding music. Thankfully he had availability for our date. I also knew that I would like a female vocalist also, so Barry organised the wonderful Marie Therese to accompany him. I had one more request from Barry, would he be happy to accompany me singing a song during the wedding ceremony. Not only did Barry agree, he also drove from Galway to Limerick to practice with me. We arranged to meet at my bridesmaids house, had tea and chats and got to rehearsing.
The music was amazing on the day. Barry did a mixture of singing, piano and violin. With Therese, they arranged the music so beautifully on the day. We were blown away.
Barry was extremely prompt in responding to emails, which as anyone planning a wedding knows, is extremely important.
Another great thing about Barry is that he has an extensive repertoire of songs, a lot of which he has recorded on his Instagram page and he provides a written list of songs too, which was so helpful. Barry also learned a new song for our ceremony too.
Barry added so much to our wedding that we will never ever forget. Everyone was so complementary of the music afterwards. His kindness, generosity with his time and unbelievable talent will live long in the memory.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Barry for wedding ceremony music.

Barry is the epitome of professionalism. His manner and decorum was evident from the first point of contact. No ask was too much and all queries were replied to promptly. Fortunately for us Barry accepted the challenge of learning new music for our wedding which we were so happy with as it really portrayed us as a couple on our big day. His talent is endless and we are incredibly lucky and grateful we had the pleasure of sharing our special day with such a lovely person.

I cannot recommend Barry enough as a musician and also as a human you?d want involved on your wedding day. He was so kind and easy to work with: from an organized planning approach to learning a new mashup song for our ceremony. Our guests were gushing at his talent and warmth. Even the staff at Westport House approached me to pass their compliments on to him (particularly with the choice of Fields of Athenry on an Ireland rugby day ????). Thank for you helping to make our wedding day absolutely stunning and memorable!

Barry played at our wedding in Spanish point last month and I cannot speak more highly of himZ He was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish. We had to make changes a few times to things and nothing was too much to ask! Barry was always so responsive in his emails and he made everything so easy. Not to mention his beautiful voice in the church. He really helped make the day so special. Would highly recommend

Barry is a super musician! I can?t recommend him highly enough for wedding ceremony music. The music he played was absolutely beautiful and we and our guests are still thinking of and talking about it. Anyone thinking of booking Barry Caulfield for the wedding should definitely do so. He is extremely talented, engaging and charming. He will go to great lengths to make your wedding special and personal. He does what very few people allow you to do in the wedding industry and that is to inject your own touch/wishes to the ceremony. Barry played a beautiful rendition of the village of asdee on violin in memory of my mother who had passed on. It was stunning and so emotional and special. He also sang fall on.me by Andrea Bocelli it was a hauntingly beautiful version that led the congregation into a raputurious applause. Barry goes to great lenghts to make your wedding ceremony music special. It was by all accounts a stunning performance so thank you so much Barry for all that you do. You are a unique and beautiful talent and we really appreciate you!

Barry is an incredible musician. From our first contact with him, Barry made the process easy and relaxed, and was so helpful when we were choosing music. He also learnt a new song for us which we wanted at our ceremony and delivered it so beautifully on the day - there was never an issue with any request, he was so obliging. During the ceremony there was an unexpected pause and Barry started playing music spontaneously to fill the silence - it was so professional and amazing. From our initial communication with Barry to the day of the wedding he was so professional, helpful and knowledgeable. During the ceremony, Barry played violin, piano, and sang. Would absolutely recommend Barry - such an amazing musician and so special to have him as part of our ceremony. Thanks so so much!

What can I say about Barry, an absolute pleasure to deal with right from the first hello to his last goodbye on our wedding day. Barry performed for our wedding day in cavan Catherdal and also later on in crover house hotel. Barry voice is breath taking, his voice echoed beautifully throughout the church, everyone asked us about Barry and said how amazing he sounded and how it mad the wedding feel emotional but beautiful. I couldn't recommend Barry enough, couldn't of helped us out any better and any request we had no issue to deliver. Barry is an absolute gentleman and you will not be disappointed if you choose him. I booked Barry for our wedding ceremony in Killargue Church, Leitrim and we were just so happy with Barry I don?t even feel words can explain. From initial contact he was so attentive, nice and professional. His ongoing communication was great and we felt secure that all would go smooth. He contacted me prior to the mass to discuss song options and his written information was so clear and informative. He has a great balance of giving ideas but also taking onboard what you want as well. That?s just my feedback for the lead up but omg on the day just blew us and our guests away. He was absolutely fabulous! I love the music in a wedding mass and I was so looking forward to him playing our songs and it didn?t disappoint! So many guests including our priest praised Barry. I would recommend Barry to anyone in a heartbeat. Thank you for making our mass so special

Barry is just super! We first heard him playing at our venue when we went to visit! There was a wedding on the same day and Barry was in early warming up! He sounded so amazing that we booked him on the spot! All of our communication afterwards was so easy and Barry couldn't do enough to make sure we were happy and felt organised for the ceremony! He worked so well with our celebrant on the day too - it was so professional and seamless and we could not have been happier with everything! Thank you Barry! Barry was a pleasure to deal with from the very start. Out of all of the suppliers for the wedding he was the best to reply to any queries and nothing was a hassle for him. I asked him to learn a song for the church and he performed it brilliantly. His voice is absolutely stunning and a number of my guests enquired about him after the church. Myself and my husband had our wedding ceremony in a small church near athenry , Barry was exceptional, music filled that church and onto to the narrow streets outside. It was so beautiful. I really wanted to compliment Barry from us and all who attended on the day. Barry played my favourite Ed sheeran and it was amazing. Thank you Barry for making our day so special. Barry was accompanied by a truly talented singer collette lally. Thank you both so much for an uplifting beautiful performance. I would highly recommend for future weddings or special events.

I don't know where to start with this review as I have so many amazing things to say about Barry. Barry played the violin, the piano and sang at our wedding in the beautiful church in Doolin. He was a one man show on the day and did such an incredible job. When Barry sang the church fell silent, everyone was completely blown away by his amazing voice. He made our day so special and so moving. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the ceremony was. Liam and I could not recommend Barry enough to anyone thinking about booking him, we had complete trust in him and he did not disappoint.

We asked Barry to play violin during our ceremony at our wedding. I'm American and really wanted a particular style and ambiance, sort of Bridgerton vibes but slower with songs. Of course, I couldn't make things easy and pick songs off a ceremony list, I sent Barry the 4 or 5 songs I wanted and he NOT only learned the songs, he played them BETTER than the original artists. He's unbelievably talented. The music added such a profoundness to our ceremony, everyone was in tears. It was evocative and moving. We are so so grateful and can't recommend him highly enough!

I would highly recommend Barry as your wedding singer. Barry is incredibly talented and so professional to deal with. He was so easy to work with, planning our wedding from affair (Australia) and helped us make the perfect choices for our ceremony, striking the ideal balance between traditional hymns and contemporary songs. I would highly recommend Barry as a wedding singer for your special day.
