Bloomsday Flowers

Jesse was an absolute pleasure to work with and I was so happy that Bloomsday could do our wedding. Coming from abroad, Jesse helped to organise everything and provided excellent advice on flower types, impacts on weather conditions, colours - so many things I hadn’t considered! The displays were so stunning, and exactly what I had been looking for, and the boutiques were the right size. I also loved her sustainable approach that all the church displays were reused in the hotel afterwards. I would highly recommend Jesse for a wedding or special event.

Where to begin...I wish I had any other excuse to work with Jesse and her team. I can not fault Bloomsday Flowers in anyway and the only issue I have is not being able to give them more than 5 stars. I love flowers and had a big list of flowers which I did and didn't want when I first met Jesse. Instead of saying yes to all my requests, she used her million examples to show where somethings would work and some wouldn't. She was so open to my ideas and likes and listened so well that she managed in all my sessions with her. She met me several times to answer my many questions and gave me such good ideas. The flowers on the day honestly couldn't have been better. I couldn't fault them in the slightest. I absolutely loved them and the first photo I framed after our wedding was one of my bouquet! The alter flowers were so elegant and the pew ends being moved and reused onto our candelabras at the reception was seamless. So many people commented on and praised our flowers. One thing I really appreciated was Jesse introducing me to pinterest to share my ideas with her. I pinned a load of bouquets i loved and then met her and pointed out particular flowers, berries, leaves etc. throughout and she absolutely hit the nail on the head with our flowers. Couldn't recommend this place enough. Thank you Bloomsday Flowers!

We cannot recommend Jesse enough, she is amazing at what she does. Our flowers were absolutely beautiful on the day. For someone that didn't have a clue about what I wanted for my bouquet, Jesse talked me through everything and helped me find the perfect flowers. You could not go wrong with picking Jesse as your wedding florist, she will bring your vision to life.

Jesse created the most beautiful flower arrangement and bouquets for my wedding day. They photographed so well and really gave our venue the wow factor. We got married outdoors in 28 degrees heat and our flowers still looked amazing at our day 2 venue. Nothing was too much hassle for Jesse she went above and beyond to make a vision a reality.

Jesse was amazing to work with. From our first meeting I felt more at ease with Jesse through her kindness and knowledge of what would be needed for our wedding. She knew the exact ratio of church flowers to tables for the reception. I loved meeting with her to discuss the color scheme and details of the bouquet. I also made some last minute changes and requested cylinder candles for tables at the venue and extra pew ends. Jesse was very responsive and made my last minute additions happen at ease. The Bloomsday crew were amazing on the day moving flowers from church to venue, decorating tables and the cake with fresh flowers! An amazing service!

Jesse was fantastic to deal with, a true perfectionist, professional and an artist at what she does. She gave excellent advice and worked with me to get the best display within the budget we had. I was absolutely delighted with my wedding flowers. Jesse completely understood what I wanted and brought my vision to light! I was so happy when I saw them on the morning of our wedding. She so creatively and beautifully decorated our tables and brought our theme right through from the church to our wedding venue. The flowers were a very important aspect of the wedding for me. I knew I wanted some colourful flowers but found it hard to get a clear vision. Jesse was so helpful during the whole process and had great recommendations. From the beginning I knew she would be the one for the perfect wedding flowers. During the process I added some extras, this was no problem for Jesse and all possible. When seeing the flowers on the day, it really made me emotional. They were just perfect! We were so happy with our flowers from Bloomsday! From the initial conversation to the delivery on the day I couldn't fault the service we received. I adored the bouquets, alter arrangements and the pew ends. The church was decorated beautifully and we didn't have to worry at all on the day. The colours and selection of flowers were stunning. I placed all my trust in Jesse and we were not disappointed. Everything was just stunning! The flowers also lasted a long time. With covid like many other couples Jesse and team were one of the first to reach out with a word of support to reschedule as restrictions were changing. Jesse and team kept in contact throughout the year and we were so lucky they were available to support us on our day.

Our wedding consultation was so easy, as the team had worked on a number of weddings in Cobh Cathedral and suggested arrangements to suit both our requests and our budget. They also supplied additional candle holders and arrangements which you can rent, which was amazing as it was one less thing to worry about.

We were also lucky that they offer a set up and hotel delivery and set up too, it was one less thing to worry on our day, as our flowers were collected, delivered and set up at our wedding venue in Kinsale.

Bloomsday flowers were just fantastic. The flowers were beautiful and the girls were so professional on the day - it was just seemless! Jesse was fab at helping me decide what would work with the venue and had lots of ideas and examples to help me choose. The colours were really bright and vibrant - just what I has wanted. I had Bloomsday look after the flowers for our wedding in June 2021 & I couldn't recommend them enough! Jesse was very helpful to deal with, lots of ideas, very straight talking in terms of what would work and what would not. She asked me to send on some inspiration pics & from that she created exactly what I wanted - the most gorgeous bouquets, altar/candle arrangement, buttonholes and pew ends etc for our day. I put my trust in her completely and I wasn't disappointed! She and her team went over and above even when there were some last minute changes to the set up at the reception venue. Bloomsday Flowers did an amazing job for our autumn wedding.
Being on the other side of the world and me kept changing my mind, the flowers turned out absolutely studding.

Jesse from Bloomsday Flowers was so genuine, helpful and friendly. I met her at a wedding fair and loved her style immediately. When I followed up with her a few weeks afterwards, she remembered me which was a lovely touch. Her creativity and style was exactly what I was looking for. I had two face to face meetings with her prior to the wedding where she went through everything in detail, she gave me some super advice based on my church and venue layout. She also gave me tips on how to use the flowers I had for the church at the venue also to save on cost. She even offered to wait until the ceremony was over and transport the flowers to my venue and set them up (part of my overall package) this was yet another part of the day I knew from working with Jesse that would be taken care of completely amd of course another job off my list. Jesse was awesome to deal with from the very beginning. I planned my wedding from Australia and had to do a lot of planning online and Jesse made this so easy for me. I was delighted with my flowers they were incredible. Everyone commented on how gorgeous they were. I wanted shades of pink and the pulled together wild flower like bouquet and Jesse knew exactly what I meant and I was happy to have her create something for me with no more information from me. I ordered my bouquet for my wedding and they were very helpful. I was able to send them a pinterest board with what I liked, they advised me on lower and higher prices ranges, and they were able to accommodate exactly what I wanted. The bouquet was lovely on the day, and very like what I had imagined.

My husband and I traveled from Alberta, Canada to beautiful Gougane Barra for our wedding in May 2016. Planning a wedding from a distance was a huge challenge, but working with Jesse was a breeze! She knew exactly what I envisioned, and coordinated the delivery out to Gougane Barra and everything. I was not stressed in the slightest! I would highly recommend her to anyone getting married in Co. Cork!

Jesse was very nice to deal with and had a very cool ,calm approach . I gave her general guidelines of what look I was trying to achieve but her take on it surpassed my expectations. Couldn't recommend Bloomsday highly enough.

I found the experience of dealing with this florist upsetting. She is a talented florist, but quite brash. When we were negotiating on the price of the flowers for the wedding she used the terms "pleasant indebtedness" and "you don't want a Gyp wedding"- referring to the gymsalum flower, not gypsy- for what it is worth.
On the day of the wedding she forgot that we had paid a ?300 deposit, and proceeded to harangue me on the doorstep (in my wedding dress) for more money.
She also has a contact for return of a ?15 jug, that if you do not return, I dare not think what might happen.

The flowers were stunning, everyone commented on how beautiful they were, but the florist was a diva.

I cannot recommend Jessie and her wonderful Bloomsday Flowers highly enough. Living abroad, it isn't easy organizing every detail of a wedding, but having regular emails and phone chats with Jessie I knew I had nothing to worry about with flowers for our big day. She has a wealth of knowledge about arrangements and colors and I trusted her advice completely. I couldn't recommend Bloomsday Flowers any more if I tried. I didn't have the first idea about flowers and with planning my entire wedding from Melbourne, Australia I knew I had to make some decisions regarding the decor of my wedding. I just came across Bloomsday online, saw a few pics and really liked that their flower arrangements had a bit of character and a bit different.

When i got in touch with Jesse, you could see straight away her passion for flowers and wanting to make sure that every little detail was covered. I got married in Castlemartyr resort so Jesse had done the flowers there before so she gave her honest opinion of what was needed and gave me a few different options.

I literally only met Jesse two days before my wedding and we only spoke a few times leading up to my wedding and everything went exactly to plan and the flowers really brought the room to life and added a bit of character. I also really like how she reused my flowers from the ceremony into the reception room as well, no waste and beautifully designed and different to your usual wedding flowers. Jesse made me completely at ease and made the whole processes stress free and seamless.

I really loved dealing with Bloomsday. I told them that I liked the look of what I saw on the website, showed them the bridesmaid dresses and that was pretty much it. Everything was sorted by them from choice of flowers and style, down to the bouquets being tied with material to match my dress and decor of venue. I was especially impressed that they appeared at the end of the ceremony to collect the pew end bouquets and transfer them to vases for the tables. They also suggested using the alter flower arrangement on the mantle piece in Ballymaloe, which was perfect. Thank you so much!
