Ceili Cottage - Trad Music & Irish Dancers

Courtney and the céilí band have been so lovely to work with from the get-go. We had requested particular dances and they didn't hesitate for a second in accommodating us. I would recommend them to anyone going forward, the music was fantastic, they were so professional and friendly and the céilí itself was the perfect way to break the ice and had all of the wedding guests in stitches. Thank you so much for a magical time.

Ceilli Cottage played in the residence bar of Clonabreany House for us last Thursday. They were absolutely fantastic and really kept the party going! All of our guests have been raving about them since. No request was too much and Ciaran even allowed the groom to share the mic to sing ‘Wonderwall’, by Oasis. It was an amazing end to our special day.

We had day 2 of our wedding in Celbridge GAA with a two piece playing from 8-10pm. Courtney was excellent to deal with from start to finish. We had a slight change to the timings quite late in the day which was accommodated without any hassle. The music itself was brilliant and went down a treat with our guests. So glad we chose Ceili Cottage to perform at our drinks reception. They are very talented musicians and played a wide variety of tunes. Everyone commented on how amazing they were, even the venue staff! They created an amazing atmosphere and we would definitely recommend them to our friends and family.

We booked Ceilí Cottage for the after-dinner dancing at our wedding following several recommendations from musicians. They were absolutely wonderful and I cannot recommend them enough. The night was amazing and so many guests commented on how outstanding the band was. They played a mix of songs and jigs and reels. Céilí dancing turned out to be a great way to get young and old alike up on the dance floor. It's so easy for dancing to fizzle out at a wedding, particularly later in the evening, but the band kept energy high and there was a great atmosphere throughout.

Courtney was wonderful throughout the booking and planning stage - quick to reply to queries, friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Nothing was too much trouble - the band even learned a whole new song on request and made 'housekeeping' announcements at various points when evening food and cake was served. Faye, the dancer, led our (mostly international) guests through steps in a fun and accessible way. She was great with the kids who particularly enjoyed the dancing.

Overall, an outstanding group who rounded off our wedding day in the most amazing style. Thank you!

So talented and an absolute delight to work with, Ceili Cottage were fabulous at our drinks reception - with a variety of traditional and non traditional tunes, they played a brilliant mix that completely made the atmosphere. I loved every minute of it and didn't want it to end!!

We booked ceili cottage for our reception drinks and ceremony music in august 2022 and they were incredible! The guests are still two months later talking about how amazing they were, they made the ceremony so special and created a lovely happy atmosphere for the reception.
