A total professional holding a Bachelor of Music from University College Dublin. A Licentiate from Trinity College London and an Associateship from the Royal Irish Academy of Music, Fionnuala has performed widely for local and International Television and radio.

Fionually was absolutely fantastic at our wedding and I couldnt recommend her highly enough. The best decision I made to have her play at our wedding, she even learned a song for me. Fionnuala is truly talented and we were both so thrilled with how much she added to our ceremony & drinks reception. The songs we chose were meaningful to us and Fionnuala performed them with such beauty, that it made them all the more special. Many of our guests gushed to us about how lovely the music was! Fionnuala was an absolute joy to deal with. She was extremely courteous and flexible as our wedding date changed due to COVID19. She was so professional in her manner and performed a beautiful array of classical and contemporary music during our ceremony. Many of our guests some of which are musical and orchestral composers were very impressed. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We booked Fionnuala to play at our ceremony and the reception afterwards and we couldn’t be happier! She is not only extremely talented but very professional and a pleasure to work with. She provided an extensive and diverse repertoire from which to choose our pieces for the ceremony, but was also good enough to learn another piece that we really wanted. Her music was also a delightful addition to the reception afterwards, and got many compliments from our guests. Would highly recommend her.

Fionnuala sang and played some beautiful music on our wedding day, and made our ceremony very special. She also gave some very helpful guidance in preparing our mass booklet, advising on which styles of music to play at each part of the ceremony. Fionnuala was amazing on our wedding day and we couldn't be happier with her for our reception and drinks ceremony afterwards. Fionnuala was professional and ensured that she kept in touch with us in the lead up to the wedding and helped us by providing a list of songs that we could have a look at. Fionnula did a beautiful job at our wedding ceremony and stayed for a couple of hours after. She was very easy to work with not adding anymore stress to the planning or day which is so important with everything that had to be done. Would recommend for anyone looking for a harpist.

We were lucky enough to have Fionnuala play for our Wedding Ceremony and for our drinks reception. She was absolutely amazing, we had so many compliments on the day and afterwards about the beautiful music she provided on the day. She is extremely talented. Fionnuala was very accommodating and there was no problem with her playing any of the songs we requested. She was very easy to deal with and a pleasure to have there on the day.

From the moment we reached out to Fionnuala to play at our humanist wedding ceremony, we got a sense of relief that not only were we in safe hands but that Fionnuala was so open and flexible to our questions and requests for certain musical pieces. This is aside from her incredible talent and command of music. Her music blew all our wedding guests away on the day and as the bride, that moment of walking in and hearing Fionnuala playing her harp is one I will never forget. It gets me quite emotional thinking about it! Fionnuala even learned a new piece of music we had contacted her about a week before the wedding and when that was played later on in the ceremony, it was really special. I couldn't recommend Fionnuala enough; from her musical expertise, to flexibility to overall calm demeanour and open approach to dealing with us. She surpassed our expectations and went above and beyond-both in the lead up to our big day and the day itself. It's wonderful to know and feel you are in safe hands with the run up to your wedding.

We were thrilled to have Fionnuala play at our wedding drinks reception recently. The music was fabulous and our guests commented on the lovely ambience it created in the venue. We booked Fionnuala to play at our church wedding and we were absolutely blown away by her talent. She was very flexible and even agreed to play at our reception at very short notice. Really happy with Fionnuala's music for the ceremony and reception. We wanted familiarity with older Irish traditional harp music and Fionnuala had this too. She provided us guidance in advance on music placement during the ceremony and this helped us greatly. We really liked her and she helped make our day so special. Highly recommend.

We booked Fionnuala for our intimate ceremony in Trinity College Chapel and she was just amazing from start to finish. She was so responsive to all of our emails, has a very comprehensive and helpful booklet of music and was very helpful with music suggestions. We had booked her initially for the harp only but she also sang some songs for us and her voice is just beautiful. She has some samples on YouTube, which really helped us choose our songs for the ceremony. She was even so good as to prompt the priest when he accidentally forgot about the registration part of our ceremony!! She was the ultimate professional and would book her again in an instant. She made our day very special.

My husband and I planned our destination wedding in Ireland at Kilkea Castle from Texas. Planning a wedding overseas can be quite stressful and you must rely on finding amazing vendors to help along the way. Fionnuala was recommended to us by Frog Prince, which we used for our venue styling and florals. We watched many of her YouTube videos prior to the event, and decided to book with her. Once our day finally arrived her music completely blew us away, and was so much better in person than we could have imagined. Everything turned out absolutely perfect and we can't thank Fionnuala enough. Throughout the entire planning and coordination process she was responsive and professional, was flexible with all of our customized requests, and everything went exactly to plan on the wedding day. We must also mention and give her a huge thank you for showing up as the global pandemic was beginning to shut the world down. My husband and I wish we could go back and re-live March 14 over and over again. We highly recommend Fionnuala, you will not be disappointed.

Fionnuala was a wonderful addition to our wedding day. She was very helpful while we chose the music for our ceremony and put me at ease about the whole process. On the day so many of our guests complimented her beautiful playing at the ceremony and at our drinks reception - it really elevated our reception and it was so worth having her there. Hearing her play the opening of 'Can't Help Falling in Love' as I was about to walk down the aisle was one of my favourite moments from the day. She was very fairly priced and I highly recommend her to anyone considering having a harpist be part of their wedding day.

Fionnuala is a skilled and talented professional musician. She created such a wonderful atmosphere at our ceremony and her playing was beautiful. Fionnualas voice is as good as her harp skills so I would recommend a mixture of both at a ceremony so you don't miss out. She has an extensive repertoire playing both classical, modern and traditional pieces. We chose a mixture for our ceremony and it worked brilliantly. We booked Fionnuala for our wedding after searching for a wedding musician online. We were very impressed with her music and her gorgeous singing voice after listening to recordings on her website. We were so delighted that she was even better in person and her stunning harp music added the perfect ambiance for our ceremony and wedding reception. Our guests loved her and we are so happy to have chosen her and that she was available for our special day. She was a pleasure to deal with in the lead up to the wedding and she guided us through the process and helped us choose the best music to suit our ceremony. Fionnuala was a dream from beginning to end! She was timely and responsive in her emails, which was important as we were planning a destination wedding. She provided a large repertoire but was willing to learn a new melody for the wedding processional. Her actual performance was lovely! She brought a wonderful, ethereal and romantic vibe to the more contemporary songs we had chosen. We had many guests come up to us after hearing her play, saying how perfect she was and what a wonderful element it was to the wedding. When she performed Pie Jesu, as we were singing the wedding register it was like a fairytale! All of our guests commented on how beautiful it was. What can I say about Fionnuala......she was an absolute dream to deal with. Communication was excellent and she was so easy to deal with. The whole process was hassle free. Fionnuala sent us a very detailed suggested list of songs and was very cooperative. We found it so easy to choose our songs as she had so many amazing songs to choose from - both traditional and modern. The harp she uses is so beautiful and really looked amazing in the Church. Her performance on the day had people in tears. Her beautiful voice and sound of the harp made our wedding ceremony so special. Fionnuala played at our our reception in the gardens of Rathsallagh and it really added such peace and romance after our ceremony. Everyone complimented the music and as a busy Bride & Groom she really made things so simple for us. Words cannot express how moving it is to hear Fionnuala play. Our guests, Irish and American, were all surprised (we hadn't told them she was coming) and blown away. She played a mixture of more traditional wedding pieces (Pachelbel's Canon) and less frequently heard (Deus Meus - Adiuva Me), equally beautifully. As we developed the mass (reading selections, etc.) for the wedding ceremony, she made it very easy to pair the appropriate music with the different parts of the mass, and gave us feedback along the way. We highly recommend Fionnuala. Memories of her soulful music on your wedding day, will long outlast other baubles and novelties you may be considering. Fionnuala Monks was simply the most fantastic person to deal with. Our daughter Carol lives in U.K but returned to have her wedding in Ireland. Fionnuala was recommended to us and we were fortunate to be able to engage her . Fionnuala was most helpful in advising and choosing the Music for the ceremony appreciating that we hoped it would be an out-door event. Fionnuala had a major part in an absolutely wonderful day for Carol and Matt , families and guests -many from overseas who were enthralled by the beautiful music and singing throughout the ceremony and at the reception immediately afterwards. As Mum and Dad of the Bride we could not speak highly enough of Fionnuala and sincerely thank her for the kindness and help and of course the beautiful music and singing on the day.

Fionnuala, was excellent. Very helpful in selecting music. She arrived early and was able to get herself set up no problem. She liaised with the minister too re how the ceremony would flow. Her music and singing was amazing. We would not hesitate in recommending her.

Fionnuala has such a beautiful voice. We booked her for the church and to be there for the reception at the hotel to greet the guests. She sang and played the harp and I honestly feel that our wedding day wouldn't have been the same without her. Fionnuala's voice is incredible, very magical.

Hi Fionnuala, I just had to get in touch to say a huge thank you for playing and singing so beautifully at our wedding and at the reception last Friday. Fionnuala was our harpist/soprano at our recent church service in Straffan, Kildare. She was outstanding with the most stunning voice. As we had some guests who had travelled from Jersey and New Zealand, they were particularly impressed by the beautiful tones from her talent as a top harpist. Fionnuala is extremely professional and also, very easy to work with and well worth her fee which is good value for money. Afterwards, at our wedding reception, Fionnuala played some fantastic tunes on the piano as she is also an extremely accomplished pianist. She has a buzzing personality and relaxed way about her which was lovely on the day. Our guests loved her and we received many compliments after the wedding with regard to Fionnuala. I would highly recommend anyone who would like a touch of class and extreme talent, to choose Fionnuala for their wedding.
