First and foremost, congratulations and
thank you for your interest in our work. I’m David Frain, the man behind the
camera and a long standing member of the prestigious WPPI (Wedding &
Portrait Photographers International based in New York) and the SWPP (Society
of Wedding & Portrait Photographers London). I’m based in Dublin, and
available for weddings nationwide / worldwide. Now we understand the task you
have in front of you is not an easy one. Selecting an artist to tell your
wedding story is probably one of the most important decisions you will have to
make in the upcoming months, and one that will be with you for the rest of your
life.Our goal is to tell your story in the most natural way possible, and for
you to really enjoy your big day. We spend the majority of the wedding day
capturing relaxed, documentary style moments where posing is very minimal, and
a big emphasis on fun.Our Clients share with us some of the most significant
moments in their lives. We never take for granted that it is our job to capture
your most special and memorable moments. We approach every wedding with an
understanding of who you are and the relationships important to you – your
family and your friends. We don’t just photograph the things you have or the
people you know, we photograph the feelings you have. This is what we mean when
we say we get to know you.We only take a limited number of wedding’s each year
(around ) to give you and your wedding the time and attention you truly

David is a fantastic guy, and an even better photographer! Throughout the entire process he was very laid back, yet professional and accessible at the same time. On the wedding itself it never felt like he was inconveniencing us, and himself and his lovely assistant really enhanced the day with their good humour and enthusiasm. We couldn't have been happier with the how the photos turned out...David and his team really went above and beyond for us and we'll always be grateful for that. Couldn't recommend him more!

David was the only photographer we met with for our wedding. We were immediately won over by what a lovely person he was and of course the quality of the photos he showed us. We never considered any other photographers. We were really confident that we were going to have brilliant photos but we were still really blown away by what we got. The results from our wedding were unbelievable. I couldn't actually believe how amazing our photos were. He captured the mood of our wedding perfectly and how I remember the experience in my head is how he has captured it in the photos. I normally hate getting my picture taken but there were times when I totally forgot David was there. Everyone I show my photos too are speechless! Your wedding photos are so important and honestly my husband and I agree that we couldn't say enough good things about David and we highly recommend him!!!!

I cannot say enough good things about David. He instantly had a feel for the kind of photos we wanted and how we wanted to spend the day.
His photos were beautiful and he was unobtrusive and constantly around all at the same time.

I also just want to say a hugh thank you. What an absolutely beautiful job you did. The photographs are stunning. There are quite literally too much to choose from, they all look perfect. Exactly what we wanted and more. You were so fantastic to work with every step of the way and put both Dave and I at ease throughout the day. Our guests commented on how well you moved around without them even realising you were there. You are an absolute joy to work with and always manage to catch our good sides. You have a unique eye for stunningly beautiful photography and it is clear that you love what you do. You always look for new and unique settings and styles that always seem to work. Not only is your work fabulous but you are one of the nicest, most down to earth man we have had the pleasure of meeting and hope to have the pleasure of working with you for many more special occasions to come. Frain Photography gave us the most beautiful wedding album and enjoyable experiences. As a couple on a budget we thought that our photographer was something we needed to invest in but yet Frain photography although very professional was still affordable for us. David worked with us from booking, up to the day and made our day perfect. On the day he arrived promptly and took wonderful photos. As the bride I was anxious that at the grooms house they boys wouldn't have gotten great photos but David did a fantastic job working with them. The whole day he was very professional. He got such natural photos, even when we didn't know he was around. The Photobooth was a huge hit with our guests. We wouldn't have a bad thing to say about David. And after the wedding, from honeymoon to the fact we moved house he was very patient with us waiting on our responses about our album. And when we got it, it was amazing. Such good quality and amazing photos. We are truly happy with David himself and the overall service he provided us. thank you so much, and as the first of our family/friends to marry we will definitely be recommending you to anybody who will listen.

David and his team were our photogaphers on 1st August at Barberstown Castle this year and they were fantastic. David & his team are very talented and such fun to have around on the day ? we really followed our lead and as a result we had a lovely, relaxing day. David was incredibly organised and easy to deal with ? this was very important as we are based in Australia but nothing was an issue. He answered all (& there were a lot!!) of my questions quickly and efficiently and was very helpful in terms of making suggestions for the day. Our family and friends loved the You?ve Been Frained Photobooth ? we got some amazing photos there in addition to our own bridal party photos. I would definitely recommend David and his team.

Both myself and husband are very into photography and design so spent a lot of time trying to find the right photographer for us. I found David online, while trying to find a photographer based in Dublin who had extensive knowledge of photography and fashion aswell as weddings, as we wanted something more visual, quirky and beautiful than the average wedding type pics (was a kinda 1930's themed wedding).
When we met David, he made us feel instantly relaxed and was such a joy to work with. He had so many ideas, we were very impressed. From start to finish himself and Del were so professional and just really down to earth.
He took pictures for our engagement shoot too and have loads of people looking for copies of them. Have just received wedding pics and they are even better! We will cherish these pics for years to come!
