Golden Moments Wedding Photography & Film is based in Faithlegg, Co. Waterford and is owned and operated by husband and wife team, Alan and Bríd Golden.
With many years working in close partnership with their wedding couple clients, you can be certain of a professional experience from first contact through to delivery of your wedding. Have a read through the many '5 Star' reviews to get a sense of clients experiences.
Golden Moments offer both Wedding Photography & Wedding Videography, either separately or as a joint package. The joint package will have one photographer (Alan) and one videographer, working closely together.
Unlike most full time professionals, they shoot and edit everything 'in-house' so you can be assured of 100% quality and a consistency in-line with your expectations.
The Golden Moments contact page makes it easy to check availability and if your date is free, you will receive full details with a price tailored to your wedding, including travel costs.
To compliment their Wedding Photography packages, on offer is a broad range of wedding albums from both Queensberry and Koy Lab. You can book an album either before of after your wedding day.
Wedding Film full day packages include drone coverage and Golden Moments are fully insured and licensed with the Irish Aviation Authority.
Alan has extensive photographic and film making experience built around a City & Guilds Photography degree so you can be assured your once in a lifetime wedding memories are in safe hands.
His style of wedding photography & wedding videography is a blend of documentary / photojournalism and contemporary fashion inspired photography. This allows him to be unobtrusive when he needs to be but also will ensure that he can bring that special ‘wow’ factor to your wedding images and movies.

Alan was incredible from start to finish, as was the videographer, Peter. They organised the day brilliantly and ensured we were on schedule throughout. They have a great sense of humour which helped take the pressure of little on the day and were amazing with our nieces and nephews, when trying to get the family photo. We also received a preview of our photos within 2 days of the wedding day. Couldn’t be happier with how they turned out and we can’t wait to see the rest in a few weeks. Thanks again Alan and Peter

alan and peter were absolutely flawless throughout our special day, they made us feel at ease all day at home and during and they way they conducted their work really blew us away. you can really see they have a passion for photography and clearly can see their professionalism in their work,its impressive, they went above and beyond to make sure we had a great day. i honestly could not recommend alan and peter any more. the service they provided couldn't be topped, i wouldnt change a thing

Alan was our videographer for our wedding in Faithlegg in June 2024. He was so professional and organised a Skype call the week of the wedding to go through the schedule for the day/suggestions to make things run smoothly. On the day he was so chill and blended in with the crowd, no one felt that they were on camera. He even brought my mom to the church to ensure I wasn't late!
We got a preview of our wedding video within the week and our whole wedding video was sent to us one month after the wedding! We were shocked by the incredibly quality of the video, the audio was excellent and the drone footage was beautiful. He caught every aspect of the day with such gorgeous shots. It was so wonderful watching it back with our families (a marathon watch 3+ hours broken into summary/morning of/ceremony/reception/dancing etc).
It was so nice to see the parts of the day that I missed that the guests experienced. It will be such a treasured time capsule of the day for us to look back on in years to come.
If you're looking for a videographer for your wedding, I could not recommend Alan enough. He is a gentleman and extremely talented at what he does. 10/10.

We had Golden Moments for our wedding photography and videography a few weeks ago. Both Alan and Peter were amazing from start to finish. They put us both at ease throughout the day. Both us and our guests barely knew they were there for the whole day. Alan gave us some printed photos the evening of our wedding and a sample of our photos the following day. Less than 4 weeks later and we have recieved all our photos and videos. To say we are blown away by them is an understatement. They are absolutely amazing. We are delighted with them all. We watched the videos on Saturday night and it was so nice to relive the day.

He was really open to how we wanted our video to be orientated, and it turned out amazing! He captured our day so beautifully! We got Alan and Peter for our wedding on 16th December 2023. Alan couldn't do enough for any one the day of the wedding and fit right in. They both are amazing at what they do and their attention to detail is second to none. We would 100% recommend to anyone. From the moment Alan arrived he had us all laughing and making us feel less anxious about the day ahead. Alan went above and beyond on our wedding day from getting people out of the pub to get to the chruch on time to brining a speaker to reception for music to keep everyone entertained, he will make your day run smoothly and is the best asset you can have on your day. We had Alan and Peter capturing our day and they were absolutely amazing. The photos/videos blew us away, we love every single moment captured (and there was alot). Alan also came up to us before the meal with some little print outs which we thought was a lovely touch. They were both so lovely and honestly they helped to make the day run smooth. We knew we didn't want to book a photographer and videographer separately when we seen some guys clash at a wedding. Alan and Peter are individually fantastic but together we definitely had the dream team. Thanks guys

We had an amazing experience with Alan who did our videography for our wedding. We had a pre wedding consultation which was good to familiarise ourselves with Alan and the day ahead.
On the day itself Alan was very much in the background so did not feel obtrusive at all, and when needed, he gave us guidance for the important planned shots. He was so professional and we really felt so comfortable around him.
He gave us a little highlight a few days later which was lovely to keep us going and he let us know when the full package would be complete. We received the full edited work Alan did and we were blown away! He does an incredible job on the video and I have already highly recommended him to our friends who are getting married next year. I can’t recommend him enough, we were just so happy with his work and we’ve gone back to watch it again and again!!!!

Golden Moments were a fantastic photography service for myself and my wife's wedding. We were married in Mount Wolseley Hotel and Golden Moments spared no expense to make the day as special as possible for us.
They provided two photographers and videographers and followed us from our houses, to the church and to mount wolseley providing every picture we had requested as well as providing extras on the day. I couldn't recommend Golden Moments any higher to wedding couples looking for a high quality photographer and videographer

Alan was truly amazing to work with from start to finish. We enjoyed being able to have a call with him ahead of the big day to talk about logistics as well as desired photos and plan. On the day of Alan was so at ease and go-with-the-flow for the pre-wedding and getting ready shots. Honestly during the ceremony my husband and I didn't even know he was there because he was so discreet even in a small room! His eye for beauty as well as his skill with letting couples feel at ease together made each and every photo so special for us. Alan is the absolute BEST. Ever since we got our film back we cannot stop talking about it. Not only was the finished product beautiful and breathtaking, he was also the nicest guy!! Alan was phenomenal! Genuinely couldn't recommend Alan and the team enough. The booking and pre wedding communication was excellent, we met him a few weeks before and then had a quick zoom call the week of the wedding to ensure everything was good to go.
On the day he was brilliant, all the timings were perfect and he made us all feel relaxed and had us laughing which was really needed :) The shots really captured the atmosphere of the day which we loved. Our guests were singing his praises as he seamlessly blended in throughout the day.

From the first email to receiving our amazing wedding video we were blown away. We feel so lucky to have had such nice , genuine people work with us on our special day. From the very start we felt understood and the video speaks for itself. It's nothing short of perfection, it gives us goosebumps every time we watch it. We didn't even notice the camera most of the day and this meant it was so natural and we were able to see parts of the day you don't get to see as bride and groom . We were not sure about having a video at our wedding, but after watching a video from Golden Moments (of a wedding we have attended) we decided to contact them and have a chat about that possibility. We are delighted to have made that decision as photos & videos are all you have left once it's all over, and you need someone that will be able to capture all the emotions on the day. Alan has been a gentleman since the first meeting and I have to say I was impressed about how knowledgeable and professional he is and how he provided us with guidance and tips that have been super helpful. He really goes above and beyond! On the wedding day, I cannot find the words to describe how amazing he was and also how he worked well with our photographer. His talent, experience and professionalism shine through his calm, and friendly personality making everyone very comfortable while being super discrete (we wanted more natural videos, so he was literally capturing everything almost without being noticed). We have heard so many compliments for the videos - the way he works seamlessly and how people didn't even notice him making the videos in some key moments. I also have to mention that besides being a wonderful person to deal with, he totally surprised us with a highlights video including subtitles (those who have a multilingual event will understand how difficult it can be), he has exceeded all expectations! I cannot recommend Golden Moments enough for those looking for bright and natural videos that will capture the most special day of your lives in a magical way. I find myself tearing up every time I watch our videos. Thank you Alan, for providing us with memories we will cherish forever!

Thank you so much Alan and Peter for our photographs and videos. We couldn't have asked for a better photographer and videographer. From start to finish, Alan was a dream to work with. From providing a timeline of the day, to advising us on how to get the best photos/videos, Alan ensured we got the most amazing photos. The photos and video are stunning and we cannot stop looking at them. The drone footage was also a lovely edition to our video. Watching our video, had us both in tears. Peter really captured all the emotions, happiness and the fun of our wedding day. Both Alan and Peter got all the small details as well as all the big moments. From the minute of booking Golden Moments everything was such smooth sailing. Alan and Peter are such nice guys and very funny. Alan also bought jelly's to us girls . What a treat. The guys really made us feel so comfortable. At one stage I really just felt they were apart of the wedding guest we were that comfortable around them. The photos we have received are so caught off guard and so natural . You wouldn't even know they are there . There very relaxed and chilled out no rushing or feeling you have to pose all the time. Loads of our guests even asked who our photographer was . The lads also really Interacted well with our guest and the crack was had. Id definitely 100% would not see beyond Golden Moments. Can't wait to watch the video also. Thanks guys .

We used Golden Moments for both our photography and videography for our recent wedding. Our wedding was postponed twice due to Covid and the team were very responsiveness and supportive when making rearrangements on two different occasions. The lead up was very seamless. We had a couple of phone calls and a final meeting a week beforehand where we confirmed what shots we wanted and where and with who.
On the day itself you wouldn?t have known they were there. They were so easy to deal with. Majority of our family and guests didn?t even realise there was a video being captured as it was so discreet. We got all the shots we wanted. We were left with a selection of photos the morning after the wedding and we were blown away with the shots. When we got our full photos and video (which was earlier than expected!) we were totally blown away. They captured so many of the finer details which was so lovely to look back on. The quality was unbelievable and we were laughing and crying looking back on the photos and video! We would highly recommend using Golden Moments, you won?t be disappointed! We are absolutely delighted with the output and the memories they have captured are priceless which will last with us forever.

I couldn't recommend Alan enough. From the get go he could not have been easier to deal with. The finished product is nothing short of a masterpiece. Alan was the photographer at a friend's wedding and we were so impressed by his work that day that he was one of the first services we booked for our day. We were so lucky to have Alan and Peter at our wedding to capture our day! From the outset Golden Moments were fantastic to deal with. A few weeks before the wedding Alan gave us a full timeline for the day and tips for the morning, which really helped everything to run smoothly! We had a Zoom call the week of the wedding to run through the day and the pictures we had said we wanted to capture, it was so reassuring and made sure we were all on the same page! On the day you couldn?t have asked for better than Alan and Peter, they turned up on time and were completely on the ball from the get go! They were so patient and managed to keep everything on time and running smoothly. We got a sneak peak of the photos already and they were AMAZING, completely blew my mind. I can?t wait to see all of the photos and footage. We can?t recommend Alan and Golden Moments enough to any couple who are looking for incredible photos, relaxed vibes and sound photographers!!

From the moment Alan walked into our family home on the 24th of March last, an air of calmness, professionalism and kindness came with him. I will be the first to admit that the thought of the photographs on the day of the wedding had filled me with a little bit of dread. I have been to weddings before and it always felt like a bit of a chore but this experience was nothing short of exceptional. Alan's calm and courteous demeanor were so reassuing on the day. Particulary on the morning of the wedding, it felt like Alan was part of the wedding party rather than the photographer. He just worked away, every direction was given so clearly and so politely, no pressure, no fuss. It made for the most enjoyable experience.

I couldn't speak highly enough about Alan, Brid and Peter. From the moment we enquired about having them for our wedding they were there to answer all our questions and send on some beautiful samples of pictures and videos. Alan sent us a comprehensive timeline of the day which was so helpful to share with our wedding party and hair/makeup. A few days out from the wedding we had a call with Alan where he answered any questions we had regarding the day. On the day itself, Alan and Peter were an absolute dream to work with. They were so easy going and helpful. They ensured the proceedings of the day ran to schedule and captured the most beautiful pictures and video footage. Both Alan and Peter were extremely efficient which meant we were able to spend enjoying our day with our guests. If you are considering Golden Moments for your Wedding just book them! Oh my goodness Alan and Peter blew us away with their quality and professionalism. Alan sent an email a few weeks before our wedding in December outlining the general timeline of the day. This was super helpful as we were able to pass this onto other suppliers that we were dealing with. A week before our wedding I spoke with Alan. I knew straight away we were in safe hands. Alan and Peter were amazing on the day of the wedding. As a couple we do not like too many posed photos, the natural photos that were captured are amazing. As it was a Winter's day the ground was wet, but Alan had plastic that he laid out for me so my dress would not get dirty. In the church we did not even notice him or Peter there. They are so discreet doing their job and a few of our guests commented on this. Alan was great at coordinating the specific photos we requested, and it never felt like we were taking too many, but the amount he captured is phenomenal. At the end of the night Alan came up to me with some printed photos of various shots throughout the day, this was a huge highlight. Our day 2 was at the same venue and I was able to go around and show everyone them. We were so excited to receive the final photos, and video. They did not disappoint. The wedding highlights film is so perfect I could not have asked for better. It's not an easy task being on your feet all day. A friend at our wedding booked them for her wedding which says a lot. Alan and Peter you are hugely gifted at the job you do. Thank you for making our day so special and memorable. We have these photos and videos to last a lifetime.

We have just received our wedding film from Alan and we are absolutely blown away by how he captured our day. His discretion and professionalism made it feel like he wasn?t even there and yet the quality and content of what he captured is beyond words. The weather on our wedding day was far from ideal but the happiness felt when watching the film is palpable. We cannot recommend Alan enough and only wish we could do it all over again!

We got married in August and had Alan as out photographer. He was brilliant from the start. The minute we booked and paid the deposit he messaged us on WhatsApp to tell us he received it and we could contact him through that or email at any time. Coming up to the day we gave a list of photos we wanted and he captured every one. On the day of the wedding you wouldn't even know he was there. Two days after the wedding we received a sneak peak of photos which was lovely to have when we were on honeymoon. We just received our photo album and it's unreal. Everyone was commenting on the photos from our wedding. Would highly recommend.

Alan and the guys from Golden Moments couldn?t have been better or done more for us. From start to finish they put us at our ease and we are delighted with the finished product.
All of our guests commented on how subtle Alan was on the day and at no stage did it feel like we were being filmed. This was exactly what we wanted and made for a very natural and genuine account of the day. Alan was really easy going and captured all footage naturally and at no stage did we feel anyway self conscious. In addition, the inclusion of the drone footage was so impressive.

We contacted Golden Moments after finding them through Instagram. I loved their work and videos. From the first contact with Br?d we knew we made the right decision. She confirmed availability for our date, answered the many questions we had and had the patience of a saint. The week of the wedding Br?d arranged a call with myself and my husband to finalise timeframes and the overall plan for the day putting us completely at ease. On the day Peter arrived on time and immediately I felt at ease with his professionalism and friendliness. In the nicest way possible we didn?t even notice Peter which is a sign of a great videographer I believe. We had a great laugh with Peter throughout the day. Given the level of demand for Golden Moments we had a 16 week wait for our video which we were advised of from the start so no issues. The video link arrived to us in an easy to use/access format and we also received a personalised usb stick also. The videos themselves were above and beyond anything we had anticipated. We were blown away by them. We are so glad we made the decision to get a videographer and even more thrilled that we chose Golden Moments. I cannot recommend them enough. The best supplier and money we spent on our wedding day. We just received our wedding video and I am so pleased with it. It shows different sections throughout the day and it is something we will treasure and watch every year. Alan was amazing on the day, so discreet and calming and the work they did on the final edit was superb. He sent us a 1 min video instapeek version within a week which was so nice to share and watch before receiving the final version! I would 100% reccomend Golden Moments.

We would highly recommend Golden Moments Photography and Videography. From our first contact with them, they were incredibly responsive and communicative. Honestly don't even words to describe how blown away I was after seeing our wedding video. Alan is honestly just incredible. He was so lovely to deal with before the day, on the day itself we genuinely barely knew he was there (which he told us in advance would be the case) but what he put together was just incredible! Alan sent us a very short snip a few days after the wedding then a few months later (quicker than we expected) he sent us the full footage broken in to categories (eg. morning prep, ceremony, after ceremony etc.) But he also sent a 9 minute highlight video that was absolutely UNREAL!! Anyone I have shown the video to have commented on Alan's unbelievable skill and talent. You would be mad to not book Golden Moments for your wedding! We are so grateful that we did.

Alan and Peter were our photographer and videographer for our wedding. To say we were blown away by the amazing photos, video and drone footage he took is an understatement. While Alan and Peter got amazing footage and photos of our wedding, they were so subtle in taking the photos - they always seemed to blend into the background as opposed to being really obvious when taking photos / videos.
A few months after receiving our wedding video, I reached out to Alan to see if the video he had recorded included one scene at a very specific angle from the ceremony which had not been included in our wedding video. Within days of sending this request, Alan had found the scene I was referring to, sent it to us and amended the original video footage to include it. I was most impressed with Alan's quick response and willingness to amend the video for us.
We have recommended Alan to many friends and family and they too have been as satisfied with their experience as we were.

From the moment we reached out for a quote to the actual day, Golden Moments were nothing but the best. They were prompt and friendly in responses and made the whole booking process very easy. Through 3 date changes due to Covid, Golden Moments were happy to accommodate us and were always quick to respond if we had any questions.

Alan and Timmy were such an amazing support to us on the wedding day. They kept it fun and relaxed whilst getting amazing shots. They came up with so many cool and funny photo ideas but also captured many natural moments would 100% recommend!

We had Golden Moments for our Wedding Videography and Photography back in February. They were a dream to work with. This was our third date and never was there an issue changing dates. They were so flexible. The day of our wedding there was a storm, but this didn't stop Alan from getting to us on time. I hardly noticed him taking photos. He made sure all photos were taken and that we were happy at the end of the night before he went. We loved that he got in touch with us the week before the wedding to go through final decisions. We had Golden Moments to do the photography and videography for our wedding day back in January and I cannot recommend them enough. From the moment they landed at the house they were amazing, we didn't even notice they were there half the time. They captured everything from the small details, the emotions of the day, the unposed moments, to the bigger parts. The day after the wedding Alan sent on some photos for a sneak peek which were amazing and made us excited to see the rest. We have just received the rest of the pictures and the video. All of which are outstanding, and the highlights video is something else and nothing like I have ever seen before. We done a lot of research when looking for a photographer and videographer and seeing previous work of Golden Moments through social media really swayed our choice. Outstanding work. We had Golden Moments for our Wedding Videography and Photography in December. They were amazing to work with and it was our second date and Alan was so understanding and easy to deal with. Choosing a photographer was very important to us as we will have the photos forever.

The team of Golden Moments were great to work with. I felt comfortable during our photo session which is something I struggle greatly with. We shared laughs and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The team also made sure to give my husband and I breaks during the session which I appreciated.

Alan captured our wedding day in September 2021. The video is absolutely amazing, more than anything we could have expected. We are absolutely thrilled with it! There are so many things from the day we don?t remember but Alan didn?t miss a thing. We can't thank Alan and his team enough, Alan captured our day just so beautifully from the little moments to the big parts of the day like the getting ready at home, the ceremony and our time spent with our guests. We had so much fun from the start of the day to the end, he was a true professional and we did not even notice he was there for most of it. One concern we had was that if we had a videographer they would be beside us all day and would be noticeable to us and the guests, but we need not have worried as Alan was discreet, laidback and captured every single person there on the day without them even noticing - the best moments on the film were those candid moments where everyone was just being themselves. We will absolutely cherish the video and know that we will enjoy watching it back with family and friends over the years. One of the best decisions we made!

Alan created a very relaxed and fun atmosphere on the day and made it a very comfortable experience for people who normally wouldn't like their photograph being taken! We had to postpone our wedding in March and decided to go ahead with a very small wedding in the Summer. Just our two immediate families at the church and then my house. We asked Alan to take an hour of photographs for us after the ceremony. He insisted in being at the church also and took more than a few hours of photographs back at the house. He was incredibly generous with his time and he was a fantastic addition to our day! He provided the much needed structure and organisational skills we lacked on the day. He captured so many amazing shots in a short space of time. Alan was incredibly relaxed and encouraging during the day. Our families and ourselves are so grateful for the photographs. We have also booked Alan for our postponed after wedding party. We would highly recommend Alan as a wedding photographer!

I want to say a huge thank you to Alan for the wonderful work he did both on the day of our wedding and on the beautiful wedding video he produced for us. I also have to mention Br?d who was always helpful and quick to reply to any queries I had. From the very beginning I felt we were in safe hands with Golden Moments and that we were working with people who were trustworthy and professional, I can't emphasise enough how important this was to us after being let down by a previous vendor. From start to finish Alan was fantastic to deal with efficient and so helpful. The day of the wedding itself he made us all feel so at ease, so much so that we barely noticed his camera. That meant so much to us as we're not people who are very comfortable with the idea of being in front of a camera. He really let us get on with enjoying our day and documented it in a very natural way. When we got the finished product sent to us after the wedding, we were delighted! I can?t recommend Golden Moments Photography highly enough. The level of professionalism was fantastic. They were a dream to work with, both in the lead up and on the day.
Alan listened to literally everything I wanted but also offered great advice. I didn?t think of it prior to the wedding but the photographer is the one person you will spend the entire day with (even more than you will with the groom!!) so it?s so important to chose wisely!
Alan has such a friendly, calming manner about him. He was also very discreet in his work. Some of my friends said that they didn?t even notice him. This is exactly what I?d hoped for as my husband hates pictures. Golden Moments did a fantastic job on our wedding video. We did a lot of research into finding a videographer who could capture the day naturally. I really didn't want a video that looked too posed or a videographer that was constantly in our face, Golden Moments ticked both boxes. I loved that we could get the speeches over our highlight video as it made it personal. Job well done.

We last minute decided we wanted a videographer 3 weeks before our wedding date. Panicking we posted in the HGIM Facebook group and Golden Moments got back to us with availability. After watching some of their videos I knew they were perfect. Alan was an absolute gent. From the moment he entered the house with a tin of jelly babies he made us feel relaxed and most of the time we didn?t even notice that we were being filmed. He was amazing. We just received our highlight and full video and it everything, and more, than we had hoped it would be. We are thrilled we decided to spend the money on a videographer and I would advise all future brides to get one. Pictures are great but to have a video is something special. I would recommend Alan and Golden moments over and over again.

While researching photographers and videographers back when I was starting to plan my wedding I came across golden moments, Br?d and Alan were a dream to deal with, especially seen as a lot of our dealings were by email the booking process was so easy, they sent me on sample videos and I fell in love with their style it's almost like watching a movie!!I knew I had to have Alan at my wedding!! Fast forward to our wedding day and they did not disappoint, so friendly, professional and put everybody at ease from the minute he walked in!! Nothing was a hassle and they go above and beyond to help (I think Alan was trying to fix a hand steamer for the bridesmaid dresses at one point!!!) We have received a couple of shots and we are so excited to see the rest and video!!! I cannot recommend Golden Moments highly enough, amazing at what they do and genuinely nice people!!!

Alan and his team were very professional on the day. I felt they stayed in the background for most of the day and just let it happen naturally I loved that they were organised they sent me on a list before the wedding of what photos I wanted to get. This meant I got photos with everyone we wanted to. The photos are gorgeous.

We booked Alan for our wedding videography because of his exceptional reviews and having viewed some videos they were the style we wanted. Alan touched base with us a number of times before the big day and made sure he knew all the details and any personal touches we wanted captured. He was a very relaxed and calm presence on the day and got on so well with everyone. The final video is something we will always have to treasure. It captured the excitement and intimacy we both felt on the day yet Alan was never intrusive. He has a fantastic talent and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for wedding videography. Alan and the videographer did an absolutely stellar job with our wedding photos and video. They?re both absolutely beautiful and we?re so glad to have found them. I'm NOT a fan of having my picture taken at all - so agreeing to a wedding photographer AND videographer was a big step for me. But - Alan and Co were AMAZING. They were absolutely super. They never made it feel like we were being dragged away from things, instead they made sure we were still part of everything. There were amazing and had us each place bang on time. After we even commented how we never even noticed them in the church, they were that discreet, and people asked me afterwards how did we find someone so good. Our families and even the venue commented on how amazing they were. I would 110% recommend them and cannot say enough amazing things about the 3 of them - and to be honest if you don't go with them, you will regret it.
So good were they that the day after the wedding my (now) wife woke up and panicked about getting ready to go for breakfast as Alan wasn't there to guide her!
FYI - getting the videograper as well is worth it. You will not regret it!

Working with Alan & Brid was great- They are super professional and work incredibly hard to capture the special moments of your wedding. We chose Golden Moments as our Videographer and they were really helpful in tailoring a package suitable for our needs. Our wedding was at Faithlegg so we were able to meet with Alan to discuss the day beforehand and he shared his tips to help us get the best moments and understand how he would be working away in the background. Communication was excellent!

To start this off I want to say a big thank you to Alan, Brid and their team for such an amazing day on June 15th 2019. Brid and Alan of golden moments were our wedding photographers and we received our photos a few days ago. We couldn't be happier with them. Alan and Br?d made our day completely unforgettable!! They are such beautiful people who put so much time and effort into making sure your day is absolutely perfect! Initially I wasn't going to use a videographer and we only decided a few months before the Wedding to look for one-how they were available I really don't know!! Br?d is just so amazing to deal with and Alan is so incredibly talented!! The only regret I have is that I didn't use golden moments for photography aswell! Highly highly recommend!! Was honestly blown away by their work!

From the moment Alan and Richard arrived, they fitted into our wedding as though they were guests. Alan?s gentle tone and kind nature put everyone at ease, even those who were not keen on having their photos taken. We received our photos and are still looking through, noticing something new each time. We could not be happier and cannot thank you enough for capturing those special moments of our day which we will cherish for years to come. On a personal note, I would like to thank you both for creating a very special and poignant moment for us both; I will never look at a setting sun in quite the same way. I had spent months searching through lists of photographers and videographers and I wish I had read a review early on, which told me not to look past Golden Moments. We took very seriously the choice of a photographer and for me it was even more important than my wedding dress. Choosing Golden Moments Wedding Photography & Film was one of the best choice we made.
Brid was absolutely lovely to deal with, she carefully listened to what we wanted for our day.
The professionalism we saw was above any expectations, even before the wedding when Alan contacted us to organize that day and to be sure we got what we wanted. His attention to details and organization even before the wedding made me feel so relieved because we knew already that we were in good hands.
Alan was so friendly and professional that he made us feel so at ease and relaxed that we actually enjoyed every single moment.
Once having seen the pictures, we realized even more that his attention to details and skills were really outstanding. We barely realized they were there and we have received such amazing natural candid pictures, exactly what we wanted. All pictures really communicate sth of that day, reason why it is very difficult to choose the best ones.
And the video, omg it really seems we are watching a movie, we can relive all the emotions of that day. It is priceless!

How Alan captured the day is just amazing and we will treasure these videos. We were particularly delighted with the 5 minute highlights video showing the best of what was such a special day for us. Alan put us at ease straightaway and his eye for detail and capturing the different small but special moments is top class. Along with that it was great fun throughout the day too! I would 100% recommend Alan. He was brilliant and I couldn't say enough good things about him. He did the videography at our wedding. Like a lot of couples we didn't think our budget would stretch to getting a videographer, we had decided not to get one but then after seeing a friends one we knew we would regret it if we didn't. I did a lot of research in relation to price and previous videos. I really liked Alan's style and then I saw examples which had a drone. He was the cheapest videographer that I could find that included a drone.
Well to say we weren't disappointed would be an understatement!! Alan rang us about 2 weeks before the wedding to go through everything and check we were happy. From the minute we met him he was great, we barely noticed he was there on the day which is exactly what we wanted. Lots of our guests even commented that they barely noticed him. Even after watching the video back I had never realised that a camera was even present in certain places. Not only that but he is a very nice person and I hadn't realised how important that actually was until the morning as he was in reality a stranger that was part of our special day. He was such a gent from beginning to end.
Then we got the finished product and we were delighted with it. We got a highlighted version of around 5 mins to share with our friends and then a longer version too to relive the whole day. The views he managed to get with his drone were something else!
If your undecided about getting a videographer I would highly recommend it. While we love it now we know it will be even more important in years to come. With that in mind we would highly recommend choosing Alan in Golden Moments to capture your day! We can't thank him enough for our priceless moments that he captured!

It can be a very daunting experience trying to find good photographers on the lead up to your wedding. I had e-mailed a few that had been suggested to me but found them way too expensive and I had also contacted some I had researched myself but their response was very slow. As soon as I sent out a request to Golden Moments, Brid responded to me immediately and promptly replied to any queries I had. She met my fianc? and myself and went through all the choices we had to choose from and brought along wedding albums of different sizes and prices to show samples of their work. We found the price of our chosen package very reasonable and the option to pay in instalments up to the wedding date was a great help. Brid and Alan were very professional on the day and our guests commented countless times on how good they were. They were also very efficient in getting our photos edited and e-mailed to us, all within 72 hours. We would recommend Golden Moments to anyone looking for a professional photographer for any occasion.

Alan and brid are lovely to deal with very friendly and professional. Alan is amazing at his job gets great photos without being in your face. For someone who doesn't like getting their photograph taken I was quite nervous to see what photos would look like and was very nervous coming up to the wedding about the thoughts of posing for photos. I was delighted to see how natural the photos were and they have exceeded my expectations. I would 1000% recommend Alan to any future couples. And I am so happy that we chose golden moments for our wedding.

Absolutely delighted with our wedding video from Alan in Golden Moments. Right from the first dealings with Brid to saying goodbye to Alan on the night nothing was ever an issue and everything just went so smoothly. We really wanted someone who wasn?t too intrusive but got the little moments that we can look back on forever. So happy we decided to go with a videographer in the end. We booked Alan & Brid two weeks before our wedding after being let down by another photographer we had booked, this turned out to be a blessing in disguise. From day one after a day of upset and tears both Brid and Alan were unbelievably friendly, professional and committed! Married 1 month to the date and we got our fab photographs .. honestly could not recommend Golden Moments photography enough. From day 1 we were left at ease with such professionalism and expertise! They went above and beyond for us and honestly we could not have asked for better! Living abroad meant picking the right vendors was going to be crucial in ensuring a smooth transition throughout the day! They even kindly brought their camera out to the hospital where we were visiting my partners nan who is very dear to us all! That incredible gesture to videotape that moment really made our day as she is very special to us and to have that moment forever more you just cannot put a price tag on that!

For our very DIY wedding, our photographer was the one aspect we took very seriously, and we considered our choices very carefully. What we saw on the website and in the brochure was exactly the standard of excellence we got - we could not have asked for anyone better! Alan was professional, obliging, helpful and friendly from the first phone call, through our practice photoshoot (which he travelled for, without complaint), through the entire wedding day, and throughout all our interactions with him. Alan, unasked, went above and beyond taking on the role of our unofficial timekeeper on the day, keeping things moving along and keeping an eye on the weather so that we got all the photos we wanted, and so much more. As promised, he completely blended into the background so that we mostly forgot he was there, making it truly amazing when we saw the photos of how many special moments he captured. Alan didn?t miss a thing, and we are so grateful that he managed to think of everything - from taking it upon himself to seek out the wedding dress, suit and rings to get some fantastic pictures while all the madness went on with preparations, to documenting the beautiful grounds and all the homemade decorations, to chatting with guests and capturing even the most camera-shy in his natural, documentary-style that we love. We particularly loved the action shots of the first dance. The digital photos were ready for us within days, meaning we could share them with our families before we flew back to London. We have absolutely nothing but praise for Alan and would recommend him to anyone and everyone, for any occasion. Incidentally, he also pretty much saved the day by figuring out our sound problem - what a hero!

We would highly recommend Golden moments. We booked Alan last minute to do our wedding videography and we are so glad now that we did. Alan was so brilliant from start to finish, he was so professional and did a better video than we could have ever imagined. His wife Brid was really kind and helpful also, their attention to detail was superb.

Throughout the process from "showcasing" his work, and getting a feel for us and the day we were planning, to presenting us with a beautiful album, Alan and Brid were calmly and efficiently working away to create an everlasting record of the day.

From my heart, I can give nothing less than 5 stars across the board to Golden Moments. I only decided to get a video less than two weeks before our wedding, and we were so lucky to have gotten in contact with Brid and Alan. We had the most prompt and friendly communication with Brid throughout the process, and on the day Alan and Peter were lovely to work with, and to be honest we didn't even realise they were there for most of the day! We also received a very very reasonable and competitive price, especially when you consider the very high quality of video and service we received. The drone footage we saw was breathtaking, and considering how little we noticed the videographers on the day, the amount of really special moments they captured was amazing, and our highlights video brought me (and many of our family and friends) to tears of happiness. I would advise anyone who is unsure about a video to get one if you can fit it into your budget, looking back now I am so so so glad to have our memories on video- and I would recommend Golden Moments 100%, the whole experience we had with them was just fantastic!

We are absolutely blown away by all the photos and videos you captured of our wedding day. I can't tell you how many times we've watched them since you sent them to us.
We couldn't have imagined that we would have so many memories, and so much footage from the day to look back on. And to have the full ceremony to show to people who were unable to make it on the day is brilliant to have.
All the videos are absolutely beautiful, including the drone footage, and the opening monologue piece of the highlight video was amazing.?
From our very first call with you, we knew we were in safe hands but you went way above and beyond what we could have possibly expected.?
All the little touches on the day (keepsake box, print out pics at the reception) and the sneek peak you sent onto us so quickly, were just fabulous.
It's evident that you love what you do with you're ability to makes everyone smile, (even little Roisin when she had her moments!!) and capturing those moments when people didn't even know a camera was on them!
