Hello Ian,

We would just like to say a huge thank you to you for making our Wedding reception an evening to remember. The whole evening was tailored superbly to ensure everyone had the most enjoyable time. The music, your singing swing set and little extra quirky and funny touches were great. All of our guests have told us that you were the best wedding entertainer that they had every seen, and the choice of music ensured that everyone was on the dance floor for the whole evening. The high heels did not last long for the ladies and some of the men !! (hehe) An absolutely fabulous evening enjoyed by all!.

Hey there! Intended to do this ages ago, but been so busy. "Where do I start....... We got married in Marbella on 14th sep 2013. Picking my DJ was one of the easiest tasks I had to organise and I am so glad I choose Ian. He was there to meet guests arriving at the ceremony, was there to put me at ease, he hosted the whole day perfectly making it run so smoothly, he sang AMAZINGLY and let us dance the night away til the small hours of the morning. From the youngest to the oldest guests (my 80 years old grannie) at our wedding every single person had a ball and that was thanks to Ian". Meant every word! Thanks again!

Hi Ian, I know this email is a little late but we just wanted to say a huge thank you to you for being so fantastic on the day of our wedding.. (28th July Nerja in the Balcon)You probably won't remember it as you do so many. It was an Irish/Scottish wedding, with Sonya Casey as WP. Anyway everybody loved you and has the most fantastic night ,so for that we thank you.

Im finally getting around to thanking you for doing the most amazing job at my wedding on July 2nd in The Sunset Beach Club. Amazing is the word used by most of my guests in describing your performance on the evening and I'd like to reiterate that. You were superb. You got my friends and family doing things that I didnt think they were capable of and I suspect they didnt think themselves capable either. Youre terrific at what you do and Im so glad that I chose you above the other options.

We had a brilliant night with some pretty cool memories caught on dvd for posterity.

Hi Ian!

Just wanted to drop you a quick email before we head off on honeymoon to say a huge thank you! You were absolutely amazing on Saturday. All the guests kept asking where I found you! From start to finish we could not of wished for anything better from you. The way you worked with all the guests and knew exactly what people liked was fantastic. I will be filling out Sonyas feedback form but if you have anything similar or somewhere on your website where I can let people know they can't have a wedding without you just let me know!

If you are looking for a DJ that can sing, mc, play great music and add the magic touch to your special day then look no further than Ian Preston. Ian is a true professional and someone who really proves the point that experience goes along way in making him a very successful DJ and host. Ian really is a fantastic all rounder and something that you rarely come across. He really did make our guests feel at ease and we certainly partied the night away!

Ian ticks all the boxes and will do music to suit all the guests, he can cater for all ages, tastes...he ticks the live music box, as he sings, and sings well! and also djs, so the whole package. Im the first one to say you need a band at a wedding but this was before i saw Ian do his set! You wouldnt miss a band if you book Ian, and at least with Ian you can get all the music you want - whereas with a band they can only play the songs on their set list. Ian can sing a rat pack song or galway girl one minute and go on to play a Rihanna song straight after it. Having such a wide variety of songs to sing / play is something no other musician can offer.
The best thing is he plays by ear on the night, he can judge a crowd well - play it down if he sees everyone wants to chill a bit after the meal and then big it up when they want to party. He never sticks to one play list, and can chop and change on the night, as he sees fit. He takes requests and will do as much as possible to please the guests. He is also willing to discuss the music with the couple, he can call them and go over what they want, and more importantly dont want...if there is any part of his "usual" set that they dont want, thats not a problem, he can adjust it around their wishes.
The MC from meal, swing set and dj is the best package as Ian is there from the start of the meal providing the background music, setting the scene..He introduces the speeches, puts the top table at ease, introduces the cutting of the cake and plays music for that, it all makes a huge difference.
He does the rounds of the tables chatting to everyone, asking them what music they like. He is very chatty, friendly, approachable, and by the way he works the crowd, he breaks the ice very early on, so the minute the meal is over everyone is ready to party straightaway and hit the dance floor. This is quite unique as sometimes it can take up to an hour to get people on the dance floor when its a regular band / musician who just turn up after the meal, out of the blue and start playing. That extra work that Ian puts in makes a huge difference to how the rest of the wedding day will pan out.
After the food, the music is the next most important part of the wedding day. So I always tell the couples to put in a decent budget for the music but tell them that by booking Ian for everything - they can save money, rather than booking a band / musician and DJ separate.
