Thanks for taking a moment to take a look at my page on the fantastic weddingsonline website. My name is Melanie, and I’m delighted to share some information with you about my business Instanza, so you can see how I can help you, as you navigate your way to saying ‘I do’.
There are two areas where I can help.
I write speeches, and I create unique wedding gifts.
Speeches:
Have you ever been to a wedding where you heard a great speech? I love helping people to write those speeches.
With over twenty years’ experience of speech writing for all occasions, I write the perfect words for your speech, ensuring that it is memorable for all the right reasons!
Would you like someone to proofread a speech you have already written? I can do that for you and make edits or further suggestions, giving you the confidence on the day to deliver your speech like a pro.
Does the very thought of making a speech send your blood pressure into orbit? If so, take a breath… and then another one… and let me help you.
Not only will I write your speech, I will also send you a recording of it, so that you can listen to it and become really familiar with it before the big day. I will make sure, that what you say is meaningful, suitable for you and your personality and I ensure that everything that should be addressed will be.
Speeches get a very bad press. I have been to many weddings and have seen people nearly dissolve with the prospect of making a speech. Let me help you take the fear and anticipation out of this.

What do you get for your family member getting married who has everything?? I could not think and then came across Mel in instanza and it seemed like the absolute perfect choice. Melanie wrote the most meaningful, emotional and even in parts funny, poem for my brother and his new wife. I read the poem for them at the wedding and them presented it to them beautifully framed afterwards. They were blown away by the thoughtfulness of the gift. Melanie was a pleasure to deal with and the whole process was very simple. 100% recommend

Melanie helped my husband and I put together our speeches for our wedding day on the 7th of September 2024.
The speech went really well; everyone complemented it and there were quite a few tears in the house. My husband's Dad cried and he's never seen his Dad cry before!

Recently, I wanted to gift something very special to friends to mark their marriage and Melanie from Instanza did exactly that.
She wrote a very personal poem for the happy couple incorporating special details from the happy couples courtship & included photos from the day.

I had the privilege to get the most amazing help with my speech (poem) for my sisters wedding from Melanie.
I would highly recommend her work. She was so lovely and very easy to communicate with.
What I wanted to incorporate into my speech, she did her utmost to do it and she met every need.
The speech went fantastic, everyone loved it and they were talking about it for most of the night. My sister was absolutley delighted with it and found it hilarious.

I would 100% recommend Melanie to anybody that is unsure about what to say in your speech. She covers all of the bases, from the formalities and introductions to the jokes and the humour.
And the best thing about it all is that it's tailored specifically for you and she really makes your personality shine through which was very important for me!
Her quick responses and friendly personality made the entire experience very pleasant and she was always available to help with anything. I was dreading giving the speech before chatting to Melanie but because of her everyone thinks I'm an expert!

Melanie was very easy to work with and responded fast to emails. I was very nervous about making a speech at my sons wedding but wanted to make it memorable..I called Melanie and she instantly got me and what I needed..she absolutely captured what I wanted to say..On the day of the wedding I was looking forward to reading it and to my amazement got a standing applause from all the guests..I will be returning to Melanie when my second son marries.. I could not have been happier with my instaframe and it made the perfect gift for my husband on the day of our wedding. I even read the poem out during the speeches and it went down a treat! Melanie was so helpful through every stage of the process and had no problem making any edits that I requested. I asked Melanie to write a poem for me for my sisters wedding, I am not a good pubic speaker so thought a poem summing up our lives together would be easier then telling boring stories. It went down so well with the crowd and my sister. Melanie is so talented and so easy to work with. It was a pleasure dealing with her. My brother unexpectedly couldn't attend the wedding and Melanie added some verses in about him. I would highly recommend Instanza for any speeches or poems needed for any event. Melanie was a pleasure to deal with throughout and made this such a personal service. Melanie even liaised with a printers locally to me and make sure the instaframe was ready to collect in plenty of time before the hen party.
Our instaframe was read out to the hen, there were plenty of tears and lots of laughter in the room. The hen was speechless (that doesn't happen often!) and was delighted with her frame.

I am absolutely thrilled with the Instanza we had created by Melanie. From providing a simple questionnaire she managed to work her magic and create a beautiful piece incorporating some fond memories into an authentic poem. It brought tears to the eyes for my friends and I, when read allowed.
Melanie went every extra mile to make the service smooth and simple and was there to answer all questions had.

My partner and I had won this prize as part of a competition on WeddingsOnline and I (Groom) personally had a fantastic experience. My wedding speech was created in verse by Melanie from Instanza, which from beginning to end was an extremely simple, painless and stress free experience, whereas it was no more harder than answering a questionnaire. The end result was everything I envisaged and it had all my personal touches with added recommendations. I had also suggested a few phrases in Irish, for which she had broken down the words and provided audio files to be able to pronounce the words phonetically. I couldn't recommend this service enough and I would also check out all the other services she provides as I am no doubt we will return. Thank you so much for making making my day.

Melanie was an absolute pleasure to deal with. She helped me with some wording to include in our invites and on the ceremony booklet. I cannot reccommend her and Instanza highly enough. I wouldn't hesitiate in using her service again.

I began my research to see where I could get a poem written and came across Melanie. Melanie is a professional speech writer and her work was very impressive. I reached out to Melanie and she could not have been more helpful. She was so lovely to deal with from the first point of contact. She sent me across a questionaire via email which included about 25 questions all about us. We answered them and sent them back to her.
A few weeks later we received our poem. It was absolutely perfect!! Melanie articulated our story beautifully, every verse was perfect; short, sweet and to the point.
Melanie has an incredible talent I was shocked how someone could create such a beautiful poem articulating our story so well based off a questionnaire! Melanie was such a sweetheart also, I felt like I had known her my whole life when chatting to her she was so easy to talk to and so friendly.
Thanks so much Melanie, from the bottom of our hearts, for creating such beautiful words that we will cherish forever.
