Your love for each other and your story should be at the heart of your ceremony which is, after all, what your wedding day is all about.
The traditions or beliefs you hold (if any) can be combined to create a beautiful, personal and meaningful wedding ceremony where we can incorporate rites, rituals or traditions which are special to you, such as hand-fasting, unity candle ceremony, sand ceremony to name a few.

A little about who I am and what I do …
I am an experienced independent wedding celebrant and registered solemniser specialising in personally written and delivered weddings, baby naming and vow renewal ceremonies. I love what I do, and I am committed to delivering a warm and personal service so that your wedding ceremony is right for you. My style is relaxed and supportive so whatever worry or stress you may be feeling around your ceremony will be put to rest at our consultation, and I will be there for you throughout.
I love the outdoors and I’m a big softy when it comes to nature and the environment. When I’m not creating or delivering ceremonies, I can most likely be found hiking in the Wicklow mountains or down on the beach with my golden retriever, Rosie.
My other interests include Greystones Toastmasters, a club of which I’ve been a member for several years and have had the honour of holding the offices of President in 2022-23 and Vice-President in 2021-22.
I have had the honour of working with couples from all corners of the world, all of whom have one thing in common: their love for each other and their wish for a personal and relaxed wedding ceremony that is filled with love and joy!

Sheila was terrific.
Anyone looking for a wedding celebrant book her immediately. Our ceremony was perfect and many of our guests said that Sheila made it. She was so relaxed and made us feel at ease from the moment we met her .

From the first email to Sheila, to the day we said ?I do?, Sheila has been so professional, helpful and attentive. We met Sheila only once to share our story with her, and she captured it so perfectly in the loveliest and wonderfully personal ceremony. All of our guests complimented the ceremony, many mentioning it was the nicest they?ve ever attended. She gave us lots of advice and ideas throughout and was just all round lovely to deal with. From the moment we met with Sheila we were put at ease. She is so friendly and personable and telling her our story was so easy.
Sheila was very responsive to all our questions and made sure the day ran so smoothly.
We got so many compliments from our guests on how personal the ceremony was and lots commented that it was the nicest ceremony they've been to and that was in no small part thanks to Sheila.

Sheila Moran was our celebrant on our special day. From the first time I contacted Sheila, she was a pleasure to deal with. During the planning process Sheila was so helpful in more ways than one. Sheila was absolutely amazing from day one. When we met Sheila she was so open and friendly. We instantly felt comfortable with her. When I panicked about the marriage registration appointment she put me at ease. No matter when I emailed she was straight back to me. Our ceremony was so personal. It was beautifully written but also had funny moments. It was exactly as we wanted.

We got married recently and I couldn't fault Sheila in any way at all in fact absolutely everything she did was just perfect! Sheila took the time to meet us to get to know us and our back story and then created a lovely ceremony for our wedding and after sending copies to make sure we were happy it turned out just perfect. On the day everyone commented on how lovely and personal the ceremony was and it just couldn't have been better.

We have to say the ceremony Sheila delivered for us was absolutely beyond brilliant. Every guest at our wedding commented on how lovely and personal the whole ceremony was. What can we say about Sheila to do her justice. From the moment we meet Sheila we knew we had made the right decision in choosing to share our special day with her, she was so warm and welcoming and you could tell she loves what she dose. She really help us plan the perfect ceremony which she then conducted with ease and grace and really captured us as a couple. Sheila had our guest filled with emotions from laughing to crying and everything in-between. Our guest were all amazing by her and we recieveed so many compliments on her behalf on the day. There is so many decisions to make when planning a wedding but choosing Sheila was the easiest and best one we did.

After the ceremony several guests commented that they had never seen such a personal ceremony and asked how we managed to do that. We said it was all down to Sheila and we don't know how she managed it but it was a natural process where she spoke with us and without us realising she got all the info to do an incredibly personal and intimate ceremony on the day. On the day she also managed to keep us calm, help us stay organised and quietly checked in with us during the ceremony when we were both getting emotional. All round she is really professional and a great registrar!

5star service for Sheila for officiating our ceremony, Sheila provided constant contact and was always helpful when it came to ideas but for us it was the meetings we had with Sheila on the run up to the wedding day, she was able to gather our stories of our relationship and include them in the ceremony. We booked shelia as our Celebrant during covid and from the very start she was always so helpful and an absolute pleasure.

Sheila was our celebrant at our wedding in December 2021. We were extremely last minute in organizing a celebrant and only met Sheila 3 weeks prior to our day, but we are so glad that our paths crossed!
Sheila is the most caring and lovely person and we cannot imagine anyone else being there on our special day. She gave us so much guidance, advice and ideas which made our ceremony so perfect and personal. You can see from some of the photos we have that she was so happy for us and delighted to be involved. Every single guest we spoke to after the ceremony couldn?t say enough about how amazing she was and nearly all of them said it was the best ceremony they had ever been too.

We felt so thankful to find someone as warm and as personable as Sheila to craft and host our wedding ceremony. She really listened to what we wanted and put together a beautiful ceremony that was meaningful for both of us. Amidst all of the changes with COVID she remained calm and gave us the time and space we needed - something we really appreciated. We met Sheila 18 months before our wedding and from the first meeting she was so warm and friendly, we couldn't imagine anyone else performing our wedding. Sheila was professional, attentive and easy to work with throughout our planning process. No detail about our love story was overlooked by Sheila when writing our ceremony. When I received the first draft of the ceremony, I became emotional as it was so beautifully written. After the ceremony, I had countless guests telling me how much they enjoyed the ceremony.

As soon as we met up with Sheila we knew she was the right person to oversee our ceremony. She is a really warm open person which made our ceremony feel very relaxed, it was like a member of the family with us. Nothing is a problem, Sheila is super organised and I trusted her judgement completely, this took a lot of stress away from me on the lead up and on the day of the wedding. From start to finish Sheila was absolutely fantastic. We had decided to go for a celebrant rather than a church wedding but were unfamiliar with the process. Sheila went through everything with us and was always happy to answer any questions we had and give suggestions as to how to enhance our service. Our ceremony was beautiful and more than we could have hoped for, it was so personal and romantic and completely us. I can't thank Sheila enough and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to other couples.

I cannot recommend Sheila highly enough. She was the perfect fit for our wedding. Planning our wedding from Australia, we had no idea and Sheila made things as easy as possible for us. She performed the most beautiful ceremony (with very little input from us) . We were looking for someone to fit our relaxed style and tell our story with love and care and she did just that. We had our special day on the 5th of May 2018. From the minute we met Sheila we knew that the ceremony would be just perfect. Sheila was so accommodating and re assuring, we live abroad and had only one opportunity to meet with a celebrant and it was so important for us to have someone to guide us through the process and keep our nerves at bay. Sheila kept in touch with us over the months leading up to the day and helped us with all of our questions. On the day we couldn't have asked for a better Celebrant. Everything was so personal and done with a lots of love and care. We would highly recommend Sheila for your wedding day, she made ours completely special and a day we will never forget.

She brings the perfect mix of grace, warmth and humour to the ceremony. She was organised (we were not!) and kept all the planning tipping away, offering help with decision making, reassurance, and bringing some lovely ideas to the table.
On the day of the wedding, we were so nervous after the morning of hype, but meeting Sheila outside beforehand was really calming, and she led us right through the whole ceremony so nicely.
So many people came up and said how beautiful, personalised and relaxed the ceremony was. We are so grateful to Sheila for making it so special for us and for being so professional about it all.
