John Mahon is an instrumental guitarist and vocalist from Dublin. John plays a wide range of genres from Spanish / Latin music, jazz, Irish traditional music, folk, ballads and much more. He is perfect for your drinks reception, ceremony on your special day or day two party.
John has been playing professionally in venues around Dublin and overseas for the past 10 years and also playing at countless weddings and parties in that time.
If you would like to book him he comes as a solo player or if you want an ensemble he works with an extensive amount of players from fiddle, piano, double bass, guitarist and other vocalists.

John played guitar at our wedding ceremony and reception last year. John is both very talented and very professional and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend him for any event. Throughout the whole process John was very accommodating, preparing a beautiful version of a song we requested to walk down the aisle to and secretly preparing a song with me to sing for my partner. All our guests told us how beautiful the music was and how pleasant John was. We only wish we had more time to listen to him during the reception!

John Mahon was a fantastic addition to our Wedding night, he had a great range of music to choose from, from smooth Jazz to Irish ballads to to finish the night off there was nothing he couldn't do! Friends and family couldn't of said enough good things about him and his performance on the night! I would have no issue in recommending him for future gigs and will certainly keep him in mind!

John Mahon and his band provided a brilliant night of music at our private club in Dublin.
John is an accomplished Jazz Guitarist and Vocalist who can entertain guests with music and songs ranging from smooth jazz classics to traditional Irish Ballads.
I've also attended John's shows and concerts in other venues. John is prepared and prompt for his gigs, well organised, and sharply dressed for the event. He's a class musician who will do a great job regarding and event he's musically supporting.

John Mahon played at our wedding drinks reception, he was brilliant! We had heard him playing in Dublin earlier that year and were lucky enough that he happened to be free for our wedding date! John is very efficient to deal with, reliable and super talented, would highly recommend him! Looking forward to hearing him play again sometime soon!

He really set the relaxed and chilled out tone for the entire evening. John is a super talented musician and so many guests commented on how amazing and what a gifted guitar player he is. He provided us with a vast amount of songs that we could choose from that would suit the occasion and he curated a setlist that was a perfect mixture of classical, traditional and contemporary songs. It went down a treat! He provided us with lasting memories of the best day of our lives.
We would highly recommend John, he will not disappoint.
