Kathy and the team at DeStafford Bridal are just superb. I chose a Kathy DeStafford design and we then worked together to bespoke the gown. The process was so special, watching the gown take shape throughout each of the stages. Kathy has an amazing eye and such a wonderful nature, the process from start to finish was a pleasure. I cannot recommend DeStafford Bridal enough.

The De Stafford bridal experience is nothing short of PERFECTION! Everything was so enjoyable, from the moment I met Angela in the boutique to try dresses on, to the moment I left the shop with my dress bag two days before my wedding. I had heard horror stories of how stressful finding a dress can be and how pushy bridal boutiques can be, but I can gladly say DeStafford's are the exact opposite. During the initial two appointments to try dresses on and to get measurements taken, I dealt with Angela who was the most amazing dress consultant I could have hoped for. She is kind, and (crucially!) honest, and I found the whole experience of picking a dress with her to be what it should be - fun! When it came to fittings, I had 4 in total with Kathy DeStafford herself and the fittings team. Having the dress made from scratch and watching it come together was just magic - having a calico mock done up, and then the fabric fit, fitting the beading and details, and then the final final fit two days before the wedding. Knowing that Kathy was not going to let me leave the shop without the dress fitting like a glove was so reassuring, and it really did just that. My final appointment consisted of many minor adjustments being done until it was absolutely perfect. The dress was stunning; exactly what I dreamed of and it was made to fit me exactly. I also loved how I didn't have to worry about storing the dress or getting it altered myself - the custom service meant that the perfect fit was part of the process and pick up was literally two days before. I cannot thank Kathy, Angela, and the whole DeStafford's team enough for making my absolute dream dress. I would 100% recommend them to any bride looking for her perfect gown. I just wish I could do it all again with them!!

I was extremely nervous about wedding dress shopping and put it off for many months. Finally, I visited DeStafford in Howth and Kathy put me at ease straight away. Her eye for detail is impeccable and she listened to all my concerns. After trying on three different dresses, Kathy suggested I get a bespoke dress made to allow me to incorporate everything I wanted. She took a few minutes to draw an amazing design and immediately I was in love. From then on I had my fittings in Wicklow street. The whole team were amazing, particularly Linda. Everyone listened to what I wanted and I was able to change anything I wanted to throughout the process. I collected my dress today and it was such an amazing experience. I would advise anyone who is nervous about shopping to go to DeStafford and for any bride who wants something a little different or a something they “can’t find” to let Kathy create their dream dress!
