Orla is willing to travel nationwide and also provides a free consultation where she meets couples and performs her extensive wedding repertoire.
She is a superb singer and harpist, but beyond that she was so helpful with the contents of our ceremony and the selection of a venue, she told us about St Peter's Twomilehouse Co. Kildare after we had been to at least 10 other churches in the vicinity. She was also instrumental with the hiring of additional musicians to play with her and the selection of a Trad irish ensemble The Wild Turkeys to play at our pre-wedding dinner event.
Having performed at so many weddings ?rla is a fountain of knowledge regarding the best music selections, Irish, secular and religious to be performed at a wedding ceremony. She was very responsive and easy to deal with. She recommended Paula Hughes (cello) and Lynda O'Connor (violin) to play with her and their music in the church was sublime. Then they capped that off by playing wonderful tunes and singing at our drinks reception at Rathsallagh House outside in the walled garden. We could not have been happier with ?rla or the rest of her ensemble. They are all highly accomplished and skilled musicians and we received many compliments from our guests, with ?rla's voice being the standout instrument. Thank you for all of your advice and making our day so special ?rla.
