Pauline has worked in the makeup industry for over 20 years, not only in Ireland but also in Australia, the US and UK. During this time she spent 17 years working for MAC Cosmetics, with the last 11 years as Manager for MAC in Brown Thomas Galway.
Her work has included editorials and covers for magazines such as Irish Wedding Diaries, Weddings Now, Image, Hot Press, Irish Tatler, Confetti, Galway Now, Australian Vogue and Harper's Bazzar.
Pauline has worked on fashion shows such as London and Sydney Fashion Week, The Brown Thomas Supermodel Show and John Rocha's Collection to name a few. Other events includes the MTV Music Awards, Meteor Awards and the IFTAs.
Some of Pauline's clients have included Elizabeth Jaeger, Helena Christensen, Daniel Day Lewis for the Oprah Winfrey Show and Mel Gibson for the IFTA's.
Pauline now pursues a freelance career specialising in bespoke Bridal Makeup, Fashion and TV as well as teaching Makeup Artistry.
Creating beautiful flawless looks for hundreds of brides in Ireland and abroad have been truly enjoyable moments for Pauline. She prides herself in dedicating her time and professionalism on every bride’s Special Day in a calming and relaxing environment.

Pauline is an amazing artist but also amazing person. As it might be for some brides, wedding planning could be overwhelming. I was so glad that when I reached out to her through her page here in weddingsonline, Pauline immediately reassured me, accommodated our requests and adjusted to our circumstances, but also guided me throughout on how to plan my morning with regard to my bridal prep. She also helped me with finding a hairstylist. To top all these though, Pauline, along with Collette Costello, have made me, my mother, and friend, feel and look like celebrities during my wedding. Their artistic touch helped make our day extra special. One advice that Kelly in one of her Wedding Wednesday podcasts have said that I thought rang true in relation to my experience of being dolled up and styled by Pauline is ?trust your suppliers?. I got a lot of ?wow? reactions during the day and from those who have seen our wedding photos. These to me are evidences of the artistic brilliance of Pauline (and Collette). We are beyond grateful. I highly recommend Pauline, and wish that in more special events that I will be attending, I can be styled by Pauline again. I normally just do my own make up, and nearly did not book a make up artist for our low-key wedding, but Pauline convinced me that make up is an art and artists would always have something ?extra? and ?unique? to offer, one that cannot be recreated, and hence special and personal on its own every single time.

Pauline was AMAZING! Do yourself a favour and get her for your wedding. Everyone commented on how lovely my makeup was and she even stayed until I left to make sure everything was perfect. She also took some gorgeous pictures of me and the bridesmaids. Could not ask for a better makeup artist and she is so lovely which makes it even better!

She was so helpful on the run up to the wedding and the fun we had on the morning getting ready, her work is amazing, so natural and felt like I had no make up on at all. Would highly recommend

Pauline ticks all of the boxes! I had my wedding make-up trial on the day of my menu tasting in March 2022. This was such a lovely experience, I really liked my makeup but I didn't love it... this is why I was so glad I had the trial it was the right investment, I gave Pauline the feedback which she was so open to.
On the day of the wedding Pauline had 8 full faces of makeup to do.. and a queue for lashes there were definitely some surprises. She got through everyone with a smile on her face.. When it came to Me the Bride.. she absolutely delivered ! I loved my makeup...The complexion was flawless.. I looked 10 years younger she totally erased my age lines. My eye makeup was stunning exactly what I wanted. It didn't budge all day and I had the right cheek kissed off my face .. Pauline you were a pleasure.. you stayed with me right to the end and even saved my speech. I couldn't have asked for more. I have too recommend your work... you are a gem thank you xx I will be signing up for one of your master classes to figure out how you worked your magic xxx

Pauline was everything and more as a wedding make up artist! She does the most amazing work, honestly my makeup was never as nice! We had her for my hen in February 2020 and then many postponed dates later, we finally had our day in December 2021. She was so flexible, professional and just gifted really.. there?s no other way to put it! Would highly highly recommend!!

Pauline was brilliant from the start. She was always very quick to respond to my messages. She helped me choose various make up brands and styles based on my skin type and own personal styles. She did an absolutely beautiful job of my make up on my wedding day, as well as for my bridesmaids, and mum! She also very kindly provided me with a new lip gloss to keep me going for the day. Pauline is incredible! My make up was flawless and lasted all day. She fitted in so many people the morning of my wedding (8 of us in total including my godmother who was a last min addition on the morming!) Honestly look no further, she is fabulous!

I cannot recommend Pauline enough as a makeup artist for your wedding! She truly listens to your requests and uses her expertise to deliver your dream wedding makeup. On top of making you feel beautiful, Pauline is a gem to work with; I planned my wedding overseas and she was exceptional with her flexibility and responsiveness to inquiries. All of my bridesmaids and other special guests raved about their makeup too - she made me and my entire party feel at ease. Pauline is simply the best!

Pauline did our make up for my sisters wedding. She was an absolute gem of a find. From the initial contact, the bridal trial and the day of the wedding she was so professional and so friendly. The day of the bridal trial it was my mom, my sister and myself. She made us feel so welcome, we got tea and biscuits(which my mom loved). I will always hold special memories of that day. The day of the wedding she arrived on time had all or makeup and finishing touches done within the time she said she would. Our makeup lasted all day and it was beautiful. I cannot reccomend Pauline highly enough. She's such a lovely lady and I've made a friend for life.

Pauline did mine, my bridesmaid?s and my mum?s make up for my wedding last month. She was amazing, the makeup looked flawless and lasted all day. Before finding Pauline, I was worried about looking ?over done? but she made it so natural and beautiful, I just felt like the best version of myself which was exactly what I wanted! My mum and bridesmaids were all so happy too. Thoroughly recommend her!

Pauline flew to the UK to do my wedding make-up some years ago. I could not recommend her enough!! She is so talented and knowledgeable in what she does and knew exactly what make up would work for me. I knew from the start that she was a total professional and an expert in her field and could totally trust that she would deliver. I wanted a natural look and the make up she applied was just beautiful -I felt radiant!
Make up aside- she was an absolute joy to have in my house on the morning of my wedding. She helped me feel at ease, made me giggle lots and was just so lovely to have around.

Pauline is simply an AMAZING makeup artist - a total professional in every way. She puts you at ease and makes it a really enjoyable experience - I have been twice this year for wedding make up's and attended a tutorial class she gave where i learnt LOTS of tips which I use every day. Her love of her craft shines through - attention to detail is amazing. I never had to touch up once at the weddings. If i were to get married I'd check to see she was free before booking the date !!
