Where words fail, music speaks", Hans Christian AndersenPR Music Duo, consisting of Petrina Mulroe, Mezzo-Soprano (vocalist) and Ray Ryan (accompanist-piano, organ, guitar and vocals) will provide you with the musical mouth-piece you desire on your special day. Petrina Mulroe, a vocalist based in Dublin, studied music in UCD from and obtained first-class honours in both pure music and music performance upon graduating. She was vocally trained by Veronica Dunne, in the Leinster School of Music. Dr Veronica Dunne has been described as Ireland's premier classical-music singing teacher. Petrina's voice matured and developed under the watchful eye of Veronica between the years . Following this, she studied with Conor Farren in the Abbey School of Music from to nurture and develop her musical theatre and contemporary singing style. Petrina has been performing for the past twenty years encompassing a wide range of musical genres from classical to musical theatre. She was an active member of both the Glencullen and the Glasnevin  Musical Societies. She has performed in the King's Hall in Belfast and the National Concert Hall in Dublin. Having attended a master class conducted by Dr. David Hill, musical director of the Leeds Philharmonic musical society, as part of the Annual Charles Wood Summer School in Armagh  in , she was requested by Dr. Hill to perform "Caro Mio Ben" in Armagh Cathedral to great acclaim.Petrina has been involved in wedding performance for the past ten years across the country and her years of experience will guarantee an extra special ceremony for you.Ray Ryan has been playing and entertaining on a wide variety of instruments (piano, organ, guitar, cello and vocals) and through a broad range of musical styles from classical to traditional for the past two decades. Ray's first wedding performance was at the tender age of eight. Since then, he has been involved in wedding and ceremony music across Ireland and abroad. Ray commenced his music studies at the prestigious Schola Cantorum, St.Finian's College in Mullingar, Co. Westmeath after winning a music scholarship to study there from . Whilst in St. Finian's College, he was provided with a musical grounding in many disciplines including the piano, church organ, vocal music and woodwind under the tutelage of Shane Brennan and  Pádhraic O Cuinneagáin. He subsequently undertook music as part of his primary degree while also completing all grades in classical piano. In , he also obtained an MA degree in Music performance from St. Patrick's College. Ray has performed across the country on a variety of stages and for a wide-ranging audience from performing in the National Concert Hall to Fleadhanna Ceoil to Feis Ceoil and everything else in between. He is currently the project co-ordinator of the St. Peter's National School Strings Programme in Phibsboro which provides over four hundred students with a unique opportunity to learn a string instrument. Petrina and Ray (PR Music Duo) have been performing together for the past eighteen months. They can provide you with a very broad repertoire from traditional hymns to the more contemporary to suit all styles and needs, whether you are having a church or civil ceremony.
